New and updated Galleries

The Gallery of Erotic Women Wrestling is a new idea. I've got it set up so that there's a couple of dozen pictures there, and those are rotated regularly by Sandra, I just told her how often and how many, and once it's set up, I don't have to remember to change the pictures, Sandra does it for me.

The pictures all come from a CD Rom, and if you don't want to wait the large number of months it would take to get them all, you can click across to their web site and buy the CD Rom.

I'm hoping that other people selling CD Roms and suchlike will let me do the same thing, so you'll be able to get a flavour of what they're offering, and if you like it, you can buy it from them.

Oops; for some days, Sandra kept thinking that a few of the galleries were new every day (Bluezviewz, Riding and a few of the other Femdom ones). I know some people kept looking at those galleries and checked them carefully, only to find - no change. It's fixed now. On a web site this big, there's sure to be the occasional oops!

Pete's helpful hints to weightlifters are a must for anyone chucking the iron around, and we also have new artists Alpha, Boomer and Rob.

Newsgroups - NewsThumbs

Running smoothly. There was one day that the news arrived too late to be processed, but all that meant was twice as much the next day. Let me know if you have any suggestions for newsgroups to add when I do the next big upgrade.

The Women's Strength Extravaganza

This was a smash hit among the people who went, and you can read their comments about it on the WSE Message Board. The web site was one of the primary sponsors this year, and so we got some great seats for members who volunteered to do photography.

Sheila Burgess looked after the Diana the Valkyrie booth, and was a smash hit among the visitors. So was Nicole Bass, who was guest posing, and did her thing down amongst the audience, where several attendees got closer to more female muscle than they'd ever thought they would. Amelia Hernandes did something a bit similar, but didn't get quite as deeply involved with the audience as Nicole.

Special thanks to Stu (my zoom is bigger than your zoom) Littman, Fistman who took loads of video, and all the others who have taken pictures that will be appearing on the web site over the coming months.

Dragon lost his virginity. Hopefully, there will be a write-up of that.

Jabber and Jazzmon had a heart-to-heart, and decided that the whole thing was a failure to communicate, and they're good friends now. There's a picture of a massive hug somewhere on it's way to the web site.

The Shopping Mall

There's a new video shop, the APL shop of f/f and f/m wrestling videos. Many of them are topless, but I feel sure that won't discourage people. The videos are between $30 and $60

Also you'll find the Amazon's Arena CD Rom there; that's a bulletin board that was to the world or Amazons in the early 90s, what this web site is to the internet today. Indeed, some of the stories on this web site originally appeared there, plus lots of artwork and pictures.

New Servers

Joan is running well, she's taken up the main load beautifully. When she came online, usage bounced up by 20%, most of which is the NewsThumbs. NewsThumbs has been so popular, I'm planning to put in a new server to replace Greta there; Mary will have about 120 gb of hard disk and two cpus (a bit like Zaphod Beeblebrox), and Greta will become the backup for Joan in case Joan feels poorly.

I decided to sort out my backup system here. It turned out that I have about 12gb of data on various drives that needed to be backed up, but since most of the files don't change much, I've set up a full monthly backup (which takes three tapes), with incremental backups every day (those are quite small, and I can get a lot of them onto one tape).

The Clubhouse

The biggest social thing this month was the WSE, where a whole bunch of people got together and enjoyed themselves; fun's always better when it's shared.

Great news about Warrior Poet; he didn't kill himself after all. He returned from the dead in October, and is one of the leading posters again.

Annie Lynn Klepacki has a message board now. She also put in an appearance at the WSE. Also, I put up an Abs message board, which was immediately colonised by Jabber and several other Abs-enthusiasts.

There was a lot of discussion about the World Series on my message board. Why would people want to discuss a ball game on this web site? Shrug. So I made a discussion board for them, and they can talk about their ball players all they want to.

In the chatroom, we were joined by Jabber, who immediately started to do a lot of ... Jabbering, and has become one of the Chatroom Folk. Also, Sheila Burgess was a very frequent visitor (and was a resounding success in looking after the booth at the WSE). And Julie too (see below).

The MUD (Diana's World) is becoming more active now. Led by the Goddess Julia (Julie in the chat room) parties of intrepid adventurers have been braving the murky depths of the MUD, and now there's a project underway to make it a bit less dangerous for the helpless men who seem to get killed rather easily. Ask Julie if you've MUDding experience and can volunteer to help.

Andrulla came sixth in the Ms O in Prague; there's some pictures taken backstage on the webs site. And Nicole Bass did a remarkable guest-posing at the WSE, she went into the audience and played with them.

But the big news here, is that Sheila Burgess is now our third Sponsored FBB. She was a big success at the WSE, and you won't believe how many web site members suggested that I sponsor her (to which my reply was a non-committal "good idea", because I couldn't tell them I'd already offered it to Sheila, until she'd had a chance to read the email!).

Sheila has a Message Board, she's a frequent visitor to the chatroom, and many web site members met her when she was looking after the Diana the Valkyrie booth at the WSE. So, welcome to Sheila.

Back Page

Not much exciting this month, apart from the WSE; I spent a lot of the month clearing up things that had been hanging about for a while, a sort of autumn-cleaning exercise, because I'm expecting rather a lot of stuff from the WSE. And we're still working on getting Mary up to carry the news exppansion; it's looking like Mary might have 150 gb, instead of the 120 I'd originally planned. Mary will mean more newsgroups, and pictures kept for longer.

I checked the site statistics. that Sandra counts up each night. About 119,000 pictures (4.9 gigabytes), 6.0 gigabytes of video, 2500 text files (mostly stories) and a total of about eleven gigabytes. That's not including News, which is another ten gigabytes or so.
