Diana the Valkyrie

Diana the Valkyrie's Newsletter - December 1997

A hard man is good to beat

December

December is dominated by Christmas; sleighbells and snowmen, warm woollen mittens, turkey and pudding and whiskers on kittens, brown paper packages done up in string, and if you're good, maybe Father Christmas will bring you a Valkyrie this year. If you're really really good, maybe you'll wind up inside the Valkyrie's Christmas stocking.

The web site was over Christmas, and it was as active as usual. Computers don't get time off, they just keep pounding along. But I put a bit of holly on the monitor.

The computer looked silly with holly on it.

So I took the holly off again. What do computers know about Christmas anyway?

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.

New Galleries

You'll have noticed by now that I chopped up the East Wing. The list of ladies was getting too long, so I'm separating them into the letters of the alphabet. All very obvious, really. So how come people ask me "where would I find ... ?"

The West Wing is getting a bit big too; I might have to divide that up some time in the next several months.

I've put up the pictures that Dragon took at the Women's Strength Extravaganza.

And with the Ms Olympia out of the way, pictures from that contest have been flooding in. Look in the West Wing.

Notice also, I've added Galleries for various sports.

The Library

Dragon has done another great story about Elaine, part three in the series. And Montrose has done another good tale called Fast Hands. Great ending!

And be sure to read Jackie Kane. She makes Sandi Stone look gentle (the author tells me he was inspired by my Sandi vs Bubba story).

Speaking of Sandi - David Sullivan is back, and he's writing another Sandi story! Also, there's a competition, go to the Sandi Stone bookshelf for details. You can win a year's subscription to the web site.

New artists

We have a few new artists. Larry Heller has sent in some great samples from two of his artists, Lee Burks and Robin Ator. Skullcrusher has done some lovely pictures of a man getting his skull crushed between the legs of a Valkyrie. And the Iczerman pictures are just wonderful; I think they'll be *very* popular. I didn't know whether to put them into the main site or Ladybumps, so I put them in both.

The Movie Theatre

Nothing startling, just more clips. The interviews with Susan Meyers and Gayle Moher will disappoint people looking for hot sexy muscle (not because they aren't, but because these are head shots), but be excellent for those who are interested to hear them as people.

One innovation that will be starting in the New Year, is a series of clips. Forget the Archers, forget East Enders, forget whatever soap opera is your favourite. This is the Sonia versus Lutz series; a new episode every couple of days. The clips are large format, and good resolution (mostly 320 by 240 pixels). To keep the size down to around 2 or 3 mb, each episode is 30 seconds. I don't think anyone has ever done this on a web site before! See it at the Sonia Fernandez video page.

"Training to win" on CD Rom

Training to Win stars Nicole Bass, training for the Nationals (which, as you know, she won, so there's no suspense, just massive muscle in motion). Forty minutes of fantastic fortitude, as Nicole puts all her determination into creating the body that won in Dallas and earned her a place in the Ms Olympia contest.

You can download clips from this video in the Movie Theatre, although obviously the clips are less resolution and reduced frames per second, so they aren't as good as the real thing.

The whole CD Rom is about 650 mb; there's no way I could put something that size up for download. So you'll find it in the Shopping Mall, $25 for members of the web site, $40 for non-members.

Newsgroups

A few people asked me "what happened to the newsgroups"? The answer is, I had a problem with my newsfeed, and had to spank a few bottoms. It's working now, but it restarted at zero. So look at Articles 00000 to 000999 and thereafter.

The Clubhouse

New in the Clubhouse is Elizabeth the Cyber-Valkyrie

Elizabeth the Cyber-Valkyrie is here all day, every day, and you can talk to her as long as you like. She's quite good at understanding about things like female muscle, amazons, Valkyries, lift-and-carry, wrestling, scissors and all the subjects you've always wanted to talk to a Cyber-Valkyrie about. And she won't tell anyone what you and she talk about, not even Diana! But don't be surprised if her conversation is a bit limited; she isn't the brightest cyber-Valkyrie in the world.

We have a new Message Board. Andrulla Blanchette, IFBB professional, Ms Olympia contender, and now one of the Iron Belles, is hostessing her own forum.

I put up a special Christmas message Board, "what would you like for Christmas?" It turned out to be more "Which Valkyrie's Christmas stocking would you like to be stuffed in?", but it's all good fun. I hung out an extra-big stocking this year. You weren't in it.

Ladybumps

A couple of new Galleries here.

Nicole Bass

Nicole was on Howard Stern again, and mentioned the web site. A whole bunch of Howard Stern fans came and looked at the site.

And Nicole has had a video made of her, talking, posing, stretching; you can read all about it. And some great news; Nicole has just signed up for Extreme Champion Wrestling. More on this when we have more details.

Back Page

You'll have noticed all the new artwork gracing the main pages. It's a new artist, Iczerman, and I think he's very good. In case you didn't know, this is the style called Manga, which comes from Japan. Big muscles, big ladybumps, ideal for this web site, I thought.

Let me know how you like the Soap Opera, Sonia versus Lutz. If people like this installment idea, I can do more like that.

I checked the site statistics. that Sandra counts up each night. 58,000 pictures (3.2 gigabytes), 1.8 gigabytes of video, 1600 text files (mostly stories).
