The Power of Ecstasy Chpt 3: A Time to Heal |
Kara, euphoric for having rid the Universe of three monsters in one day turned around just in time to see a gorgeous blonde materialize in front of the vanquished beasts. She appeared with her arms folded above her chest. Her amazing green eyes shone with a light all there own but that wasn't the most amazing thing about her. What was even more amazing than her beautiful green eyes were her breasts not because of there incredible size, or because they were bare, but because instead of one, they each had two, very, large nipples. She had on a purple outfit reminded Kara of Barbra Eden in the old I Dream of Jeanie T.V. series, that is, Barbra Eden with one hellacious boob job!
" Hey!" Get away from that" Kara yelled, as she flew over to the girl's side.
The girl stood, she had a sorrowful look on her face. " They are both dead." She said.
" I know, I killed them. Kara declared, proudly. She wasn't above a bit of boasting especially when it came to her strength. "Now you want to tell me who the hell you are and what your doing on my planet?" Kara's voice was firm this was turning into a very long day.
"I'm Sariann Princess of Vuluvia."
"Vuluvia?" Kara asked. " There are no people on Vulvia, just those damned beast"
"We exist with them."
"Impossible, there bloodthirsy monsters. They should all be destroyed. These two are just a good start."
"You are very proud of yourself for having killed these two aren't you?" Sariann asked. " I'm tempted to tell you the truth."
"The truth," Kara said. "Is yes, I'm damned proud of having put an end to those horrid beasts and if I ever run across anymore I'll be more than happy to do the same. I can't have creatures like that on my planet snacking on villagers; it's bad for my rep. And another thing if you being 'princess' are responsible for these two then you're not only responsible for their deaths but the deaths of about one hundred innocent people. I suggest in the future Princess that you be a little more responsible. THATS THE TRUTH!"
Kara's words cut through the girl like a knife. Life was completely sacred to her race she couldn't bear the thought of being responsible for any creature's death. She turned away from Kara sobbing.
" Your really upset cause I killed these two monster's?" Kara asked, perplexed.
" Monsters! They are not monsters. It is us who are the monsters!" The girl shouted. "What if I told you these monsters saved our species from a life a slavery; that they do not eat sentience, in fact they live solely off a giant fish that lives in our seas, that we live in peace with them and they with us, That they did not deserve the death you gave them Kara. But it is my fault you are right I as princess am respsible. The Thuvian stole them right out from under my nose. I had not even considered such a thing was possible. " The girl was sobbing uncontrollably before she finished
The girl was obviously very upset and Kara desperately wanted to understand why. For the life of her though she could not understand why anyone could care for such horrid creatures. Although the beasts she described were nothing like the monsters she killed, she was suddenly very confused
"Explain it to me, Please." Kara said, looking the girl in the eyes, " I really want to understand your truth."
The girl looked at Kara " Ok, Kara, but when you understand, I do not think you will be so proud of yourself. Make no mistake the truth will hurt you Kara."
Kara was taken a little aback at the fact that the girl knew her name. She gave the girl a puzzled look.
"I know who you are Kara. I know you are protector of this planet. I know you thought you were protecting your planet when you killed these two. It is why your still alive right now, that and theirs a chance you might be able to help me undo what you have done.
"Why would I even want to think about undoing it?" Kara asked. "These things wiped out a whole village and tried their damnedest to kill me, it took everything I had to kill them. Why would I want to help you?"
The girl reached behind the great cats neck and removed a small box that was apparently, buried in its mane, attached to the cats skin just below the base of it's brain.
" What's that?" Kara asked.
" It is why," the girl said placing the small box in Kara's hand.
Kara stiffened as she closed her hand around the box. A horrible vision came into her mind. She saw herself in the Inukuk village, a place she had never been, before this morning. The villagers were gathered around her in a circle, Cheering and laughing. She held something, snow white, high above her head. It was alive, God, she thought, it was a small shadow cat. Kara then saw the ghastly vision of herself twisting the head off the small cat as the villagers laughed and cheered her on. She tossed the head to a young girl with pigtails, a girl that Kara had seen before lying in a pool of her own blood in the village. The girl, giggling, ran off to play with it. Kara then tied the squirming carcass to a pole and with her heat vision began to skin it.
Kara suddenly crushed the box in her hand. She had seen enough. She gasped at the realization of what had occurred. A few seconds ago she was proud to have rid the Universe of a couple of bloodthirsty monsters. She had exulted in her amazing strength, her body actually exploding in an ecstasy more powerful than any she had ever known as she had delivered each devastating blow to the beast. She had taken extreme pleasure in killing those animals actually taunting them with her strength. Now she knew the truth, why the cats had killed the villagers and why they went after her with such fury. They were male and female, mates, and the young cat in the vision was their cub. They were made to believe that she and the villagers had taken delight in the killing of their baby.
A look of pure anguish came over Kara's face at the thought of the beating she had given the cat; of how she had taunted it with her strength; how she had so casually used it's own flame to so totally humiliate it. How it made her feel so powerful, so sexy, to be able to overpower such powerful beast, to dominate it so totally. She thought of how she had showed off by so flippantly, with a smile, finishing the cat off with a single breath. She thought, how unimaginably terrible it must have been for them to be so totally humiliated at the hands of a being who they thought had so cold bloody killed there cub. The thought of that was almost more than Kara could bear, but what was even worse; was realizing she had lost control, that she had a dark side, a cruel unmerciful dark side that could be tricked into coming to the surface, that it was driven by ecstasy and power and that she had let it totally consume her.
Kara closed her eyes. She thought of the Thuvian who had taken advantage of her protective nature She thought of the lives of the villagers he callously disregarded. She pictured the torn body of the little girl with the pigtails in her mind. She looked at the two dead beasts before her and thought of the humiliating deaths that she had given them. She wished suddenly that she had not given the Thuvian such a pleasurable one. She knew that if she had it to do over again he would surely die screaming.
Kara opened her eyes, with tears streaming down her face she looked up at the girl. " How can I help?" She asked.
Sariann smiled, follow me she said. "We haven't much time.
Three days prior
Carse, the Thuvian hunter landed his shuttle a few hundred yards away from the Inukuk village. He looked at the drugged Shadow cats and then up too the monitors at the images their brains were being fed. He reminded himself to make the scenes match exactly it would be easy the villagers had all been put to sleep thanks to a wide Alpha band wave emitter that he had directed at the village a few hours earlier.
It was midnight. The Thuvian knew that by now the villagers would all be tucked safely away, sound asleep, in their huts. He was also sure the Alpha emitter would make sure they stayed there. So not fearing discovery, he grabbed the drugged cub roughly by its small tuft of mane and started for the village, first making sure he had the skinning laser in his pocket. He would wait until he got the cub to the camp to kill it, he didn't want to take any chances of spilling any of the cubs blood along the way, such a stupid mistake as that could ruin the whole plan. His head was so filled with the infallible genius of his plan that as he left the craft he did not notice the two shadows watching him from the trees, shadows that, as he disappeared into the woods, disappeared into his ship.
Whistling to himself he strode through the trees. The cub, no longer under the beam of the Alpha emitter, began to wake. He mewed pitifully for his mother. " Shut up you little furbag" growled the Thuvian as he roughly swung the cub around so that it's tiny white (cubs were born snow white) head viscously impacted a tree. The cub only a few days old was knocked senseless by the blow. Carse, realizing what he had just done cursed himself for letting his temper get the better of him. It was a mistake and he hated mistakes. He quickly walked back to the tree he had struck the cub against and urinated on it, so as to completely mask the cub's scent. Then whistling he moved on thinking his plan was perfect. The only way it could possibly fail, he thought, was if Kara actually defeated the beasts. He laughed at the absurd thought of a woman, even one with her super powers, defeating not one but two of the most powerful creatures in the Universe even if they did not have the hatred for her that he was about to instill, they were still more than a match for her strength. So completely confident he entered the silent Village.
The night sky shone with the brilliance of a billion stars. Soft rays of ivory moonlight cascaded down illuminating the pristine landscape, twinkling off billowy crests of new-fallen snow, creating an ethereal beauty, one that man, despite all his attempts could never capture. The woeful howl of a lone wolf, looking for companionship, filled the night air. Its haunting song carried on the frost by unseen winds, echoed melodiously across the splendor of the moonlit tundra. The Inukuks called it, inosha, 'the song of the night.'
The Inukuks, a very superstitious people, had a spiritual relationship with the wolf. Their greatest god was called Neokuk, which meant spirit wolf. It was their belief that Neokuk would punish those who had done harm to them by devouring their souls at the time of their deaths. It was said, that if you had harmed the Inukuk, at the hour of your death, as the life was flowing from your body, you would hear Neokuk's bone-chilling howl and that your soul, after being devoured, would live in the belly of evil, screaming in a sea of pain for eternity. Carse knew of this fairytale and he scoffed at it. It would take more god than a mangy old dog to save their hides, he thought.
Carse merrily erected a skinning pole and tied the cub up by his hind legs. The cub dangled upside down, once again mewing for his mother to come rescue him. " Shut up, you stupid beast." Carse said, striking the cub viciously with a large wooden club. " Your momma's not coming!" At least it wasn't in his plan for the mother to be there. Little did he know though that the plan had changed.
Carse's blood turned to ice as he heard the low growl coming from behind him. He spun around coming face to face with mommy and she was not happy. He turned sprinting in the opposite direction screaming not comprehending what could have gone wrong. In his panic he ran out into the tundra stopping as he saw the huge male land in front of him. He turned quickly around to flee and ran straight into Kara, who was now holding the cub in her arms comforting it. Sariann was right beside her.
" How, how did you know" he stuttered in shock.
" Simple Carse" Sariann said. " The cats did not kill Kara. It was she who killed the cats. It seems, as you did with me, that once again you have underestimated the power of a woman."
It was the only flaw in his plan. He had not even considered the possibility of Kara winning and then traveling back in time with Sariann. Females were lowly beings in the eyes of Thuvians. He looked at Kara unbelieving. How, he thought, could a woman kill two of the most powerful beings in the Universe let alone two that hungered for her blood specifically. His panic suddenly overtook him.
" Please, Please, don't let them kill me." He begged, grabbing Kara by the shoulders. " DON'T LET THEM KILL ME!" He shook her hard as he spoke.
Kara up to that point had not so much as looked at the Thuvian. When she felt his touch she looked up and met his gaze. The cold icy stare of Kara sent a chill through his body. Oblivious as he was to the frigid climate her icy stare brought goose bumps to his flesh. She spoke four words, in a voice as cold and emotionless as her stare. "Better them than me." Kara's icy stare and emotionless words were more than the Thuvian could handle. He turned screaming; running out into the tundra, not even aware of the warm urine that was running down his legs. His escape was cut short however by the big male who batted him, with a huge paw, almost gentle back into the village, to land at the feet of the mother. Carse stood, he had no place to run. The mother's fangs were inches away from his face. He shut his eyes waiting for death, praying for it to be quick. The mother pulled back, lifting her paw she gently traced one claw slowly down the Thuvian's stomach, leaving a thin read line. Carse opened his eyes. Looking down at his stomach as his guts fell out onto the snow he realized, screaming, that his prayers would not be answered. He collapsed to the ground, lying in a pool of his own entrails. He prayed for death to take him but it was not death that came for his soul, it was something else and it came with a mournful howl, a howl that froze his blood, a howl heard only by him.
Kara, more than a little apprehensive but reassured by Sariann carried the cub over too it's mother. The mother nuzzled the cub in Kara's arms, both mother and cub purring loudly. It was one of Kara's happiest moments; tears were streaming down her face. She sat the cub down and watched as they followed Sariann to the ship. Suddenly the mother turned back. She trotted up to Kara and nuzzled her neck. Then she lowered her head and bathed Kara's feet in her soft flame. Kara shut her eyes as she felt the ecstasy shoot through her body. The cat slowly raised its head bathing every inch of Kara in pure ecstasy. Kara opened her eyes after the flame had passed still trembling and breathless she looked at the beast curious as to how the beast now knew of the effect of her flame on a Velorian. Perhaps they always knew, perhaps Carse forgot to program it in their brain, if so it was just one more mistake in his perfect plan. Kara floated up giving mom a gentle kiss on the nose, she then turned toward the big male. Kara looked at the beast "Does he know?" Kara asked, Sariann.
" I don' know Kara." Sariann shrugged. " There very intelligent, they might, I just don't know."
Kara looked up at the big male. She remembered the devastating punishment she had dealt him, how dominating him had given her such pleasure, how she prolonged his agony, until handing him a humiliating death. She couldn't make up for it; there was nothing she could do. She suddenly couldn't hold back her tears. She started to turn away when she felt the tingling warmth of flame on her back. She turned to meet it, her body once again exploding in ecstasy as she instantly gave herself to the flame. She inhaled the cats flame one more time, her body quivering in rapture as wave after wave of pleasure swept over her, then in a second it was over. Kara stood breathless, trembling from the intense sensations that had just passed through her. She looked into the cat's eyes and she suddenly knew. The cat had somehow through his flame conveyed his thoughts to her. He had made her understand that they knew everything that had occurred in the previous time line; that they understood the Villagers, that they had killed, were like and Kara smiled as she got the image in her head, were like her cubs. She looked up at the cat smiling relived that they understood. Floating up in front of the cat's face Kara blew him a gentle kiss, one that left him trembling in pleasure. She couldn't make up for all the pain but she could provide a little pleasure. Then smiling warmly at the cat's reaction she flew off disappearing into the stars, Kara hated long good-byes.
