| The Analyzer had spent Four years in prison courtesy of MasterGirl, but now it appeared that she was back to her old tricks. The Analyzer was the cleverest of all the villains MasterGirl had faced, but she had been no match whatsoever for the powers of MasterGirl. She stood there confidently and confronted her nemesis. |  |

| MasterGirl was used to the look of terror in eyes of everyone she confronted. She wasn't a comic book goody-goody super heroine and she could become pretty mean when confronted. Her reputation preceded her. She was therefore surprised to see no fear in the eyes of the Analyzer. Quite the opposite in fact. The Analyzer challenged MasterGirl to come and get her. |  |

| MasterGirl intended to do just that but when she got within five feet of the Analyzer, she stopped dead in her tracks... |  |

| Something was wrong!! MasterGirl began to feel strange. Her powers... something was happening with her powers! |  |

| The world's most powerful heroine began to feel dizzy. Disoriented. WEAK!!! |  |
|||||||||||||
| The Analyzer began to taunt her hated foe, asking her what was the matter and why wasn't she coming to get her. |  |

| MasterGirl was not accustomed to being spoken to in that manner and would normally react harshly, but for some strange reason, the world's most powerful heroine was having trouble standing up!! |  |

| It was a strange and fairly familiar feeling that
she vaguely remembered from a long long time ago.
She tried to get it together and move away so she could regroup and figure out what was going on. |

| To her shock and dismay, MasterGirl was unable to move away. |  |
|||||||||||||
| The Analyzer moved in closer and shoved the answer
right in MasterGirl's face. It was terranite! The one substance that
could make MasterGirl weak. She thought it might have been that, but
couldn't believe that someone as brilliant as the Analyzer would be so
stupid and use that on her. After all, everyone new that the Earth's
atmosphere deteriorate the Terranite over time so that all it can do is
weaken MasterGirl for a very limited period of time.

| The effects of the Terranite cannot kill her and they wear off within 25-30 minutes. Furthermore, every time MasterGirl is exposed to the terranite, she develops a greater tolerance towards it's effects, so that once she has recovered she is virtually invulnerable to it for months. That's why no one dared use it on her since it cannot kill her and all it really does is piss her off big time. The few who have dared, have found that a pissed off MasterGirl is even more vicious than normal |  |

| Despite feeling very weak at the moment, MasterGirl
was actually relieved to discover that it was only Terranite and not some
other, previously unknown weakness she had.
But for now, the world's most powerful heroine was feeling very weak and helpless- a feeling that her ego could not very well stand.

| In her mind, she was playing out what she would do to the Analyzer the next time they met. Still, this unfamiliar feeling of helplessness, for someone as powerful as her, was quite unnerving. |  |

| The Analyzer, however, was in seventh heaven. She despised MasterGirl and had a score to settle with her. This was a moment for which she had been waiting for a very long time... |  |
