FRESNO, California, July 1, '09 -- Former bodybuilder and strength athlete Sally McNeil has finally completed her application for Clemency to California's Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The submission, one inch thick, has now been mailed from Sally's jailhouse abode. She's so far served 13 years of a Life sentence for killing her husband Ray McNeil, a Mr California, on Valentine's day 1995.
Sally's friends have argued thatshe should have gotten her act together years ago after Arnold was first elected Governor. At that point Arnold released a slew of Lifers who he judged to be no threat to the public.Unfortunately Sally's planning was in the handsa lawyer who wanted to confine his efforts to the Appellate route -- which failed all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court. And more lately another attorney, who offered to help her free of charge, has simply ceased to keep in contact.
The essence of Sally's plea is that she was a Battered Wife who has been punished long enough. She's totally contrite and has never denied what happened. She bitterly regrets her loss of personal control on that fateful evening.
At the age of 48 Sally believes she still has plenty to contribute to her chosen sports. She's been a National level bodybuilding competitor and while serving in the Marines won the U.S. Armed Services physique championship (women's middle weight) in 1988 and '89.

The sponsorships now are by giving women server space and bandwidth, so they can operate their web sites without having to pay these fees. There's also photoshoots, which gets some revenue into their hands, as well as the traditional direct-funding sponsorship.

I checked the site statistics that Sandra counts up each night.
At the end of June 2009, there were about 1,068,000 pictures (117 gigabytes), 350 gigabytes of video, 12,300 text files (mostly stories) and a total of about 468 gigabytes. There's about 365 million pictures altogether in Newsthumbs, increasing at about 5 million per month.
