Chapter Four


(A TRUE STORY)

TEN MINUTES:

Mrs. Murray Motioned for me to sit down at her kitchen table and requested
that I speak when spoken to and not to interrupt her for a moment or two. I
felt a little more at ease now that we were alone and her girls were out.
Somehow I had believed that I would be able to reason with her while we were
alone and come to some kind of agreement!----While she was looking at a sheet
of paper I Broke the silence and Blurted Out!-----"Mrs. Murray!---We Need To
Talk About Something1-Pleeee"----"BAMN!" ----Her Fist Swung Up and Down so
Fast, I didn't have time to Blink as the LOUD CRASH ROCKED Her Kitchen Table
and Sent Two Cups Flying across and onto the Floor! Standing Up And Now
SCREAMING! She Waved the Very Same FIST Right Under My Face as She Stretched
Across the Narrow Table!----My Face Paled, I'm sure, as She Waved Her Fist
menacingly In Front of me! More Startled than Afraid I Still Shuddered at the
Way she Was Threatening me. Right then and there It was REVEALED to me by Her
Fierce Action That this Woman was not to be Underestimated! I imagined her to
be more of a Dependent and Perhaps Sensitive woman but now I could see the
reason others in the neighborhood seemed to dislike her was because they felt
something that I evidently had Not! This Was Baffling to me for sure and I sat
there Stunned and unable to Speak or move a hair!---WHAT The FUCK! I thought
as My HEAD ACHED and My Mind Whirled!----------"LET Me Make Something Very
Clear to You Mr. Arrogant Asshole!"---First of all you are Free to leave!-Do
you know that?"---She stated with Her Fist Still in my Face!---"When You are
Out of Here It will not be the fault of either my daughters of me what others
will learn of you and your behavior!" -------I Relaxed as she dropped her fist
now and sat down in her chair once more.---Maybe It would have been better to
do just that and take the consequences I began to Decide. She Was Perceptive I
am sure and she must have read the expression on my face because she reached
down to the floor and picked up a Box and place it on the table. -------I saw
the Box and My Heart Was in My Throat at once!---"HOLY SHIT I!" I
WORRIED!---That Can't be what I think it is!----My Garage was a Goldmine of
Hidden Treasures for Mrs. Murray I Concluded Now. She Must have Rummaged about
once she found the Nylons and now she had a Stash of Not only a few Photos of
a couple of my girl friends and some letters and notes that were more than
revealing!------"Here Victor!---You may have these back!" she Said as She
Pushed the Box across the table! ---"I have no more need for them!---This is
not Blackmail!---You may take this CRAP and Leave Now!"---I sat Still Trying
to sort out what she was laying on me!---Then she Said!--------"OR You can Own
up to your Transgressions and ATONE For Your Behavior and We Will remain
Silent!" -She Rose up and As She Walked out of the room Said without looking
at me!------"Take a While to make your decision Victor!---you May Have Ten
Minutes!"

TEN MINUTES!----Ten Minutes!---All I Needed Was Ten Seconds: The Only person
with whom I had confided in was certainly right about what needed to be Done!
The Trouble that would develop over all of this and on top of that the stuff
from the box that Mrs. Murray discovered was more than enough to Fuck Me Up
Good! Sandra had given me the right choice! I could see that clearly now. Let
Her Have Her Way and she would eventually satisfy her needs, whatever they
were and get her off of your back. "OH The Hell with all of the Friendly
Neighbor Crap!" Sandra had Said, as she looked me in the eye. Sandra, whoever
she was had been working as a guidance canceller and I had to really agree
with her now. I Knew she was right! Right then I was so glad I had gone to
that place the other night and bumped into her! I mean who else in the entire
world could I have trusted to confess what was going on with me at the time.
As I sat there my mind was now on Sandra and her husband, or friend Cal! And I
hadn't even gotten their last names. I had their phone number and I was going
to make it a point to call her again. In Fact it would be the second call!
Last night before the exhaustion overtook me, I dialed her number just to
satisfy my curiosity that it was the right number. While it Rang I was
thinking what a strange thing this was contacting total strangers from many
towns away in order for support of some kind! Was I confused? Or Wasn't I at
this Time? ----Cal answered the phone in his Deep Voice and I apologetically
asked him if it was okay to speak with Sandra! ---The Last thing I wanted was
to Piss this guy off!---I was in enough trouble already with the Murray's and
that started Three days ago! ---"Hey San! ----It's that SISSY BOY!"
---Laughter Broke Out and I Believed it to be from a couple of men and even a
woman's voice!---Hoping it wasn't from Sandra I was Relived when She spoke
into the phone saying!--------"OH-HI!---Victor!---Listen HONEY Don't You Let
Cal Bother you None!---What Cal Needs is a good Kick in the ASS!"---More
Laughter Rang Out then and I quickly said that I wanted to thank her for her
support!---"DOAN Mention it SWEETIE!" She Kind Of Giggled! And
Added!---"HEY!-You Be Good Now and Careful that You all Listen To that Mrs.
MURPHY NAWEL!" TAY-KEAR!"-when the Phone Clicked off I realized that she had
been Drinking or doing something else and I started to think that it was
Stupid of me to make the call in the first place. I was in enough trouble and
here I was almost headed for more!

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Shouted Mrs. Murray! As She Saw me looking into the Box
on the table!---"Did I say You could Look into that Box?" She Yelled!---Again
I'm feeling confused! She said I could take it and leave!---"But Mrs.
Murray!-you said to take it and leave if I wanted to!"---"That's Right!---But
You are Still here! And Now I will keep possession of it!-With that She called
out for Cory! Cory was Ready to leave and She asked Cory to take the box and
put it where she had requested! --We Both were alone once again and in Silence
I sat Looking at my neighbor waiting for what was going to come from her lips
next!

I heard a car come into the Driveway but I kept my face pointed straight Ahead
looking into Mrs. Murray's BLANK Expression!-----AND THEN SHE SPOKE!---And
THEN I
CRUMBLED!--------------------------------------------------------------------"
VICTOR!-I WANT YOU TO BE MY MAID!"

"I Want You to Be My MAID!"------Those Words RANG IN MY EARS!---I Sat there
Dizzy and Unbelieving and I Could have Burst Out LAUGHING!-Or BURST OUT
CRYING!-----SHIT!---Was She FUCKING CRAZY" OR What!---I Looked at her Through
Glassy eyes Hoping that she Would be Joking somehow but she Was STERN FACED
and She Really Looked ANGRY Again!--------How could I Possibly Do That?---Be
Her MAID!---I Mean I Was a MAN!---I Had a JOB and a CAREER!-How Could I Just
Allow a Woman and an OLDER ONE at That to Take Hold Of Me and CHANGE Me Into
HER MAID!---This Would RUIN any guy and What about My Responsibilities and
All?----How Could I EXPLAIN Something Like This to Anyone in my Family or My
Friends1--- Or How would I Rectify this To MYSELF?---SHIT, I WONDERED!---Mrs.
Murray Has Me LITERALLY---BY THE BALLS!------------"DID YOU HEAR ME VICTOR?"
She Questioned ANGRILLY!----What could I do now but just Meekly Nod My
Head!---And Then The Door opened And In Stepped The SISTER With whom I Was
Afraid of Seeing the MOST NOW!-It Was The One that I Really FEARED Was Out To
Get Me!---It WAS!---------ELAINE!

"WELL Elaine!---Victor Here Has Agreed To Start Working For Us!" She Cheerily
Stated Smiling at Her second oldest Daughter!-I was MORTIFIED Sitting there
between Elaine Standing there and Mrs. Murray Slouched Back Confidently and
with a Cocky smile on her Face!-----"OH!---How Very Nice Mother!---We
Certainly Could use the help around Here!" she Excitedly Chimed
back!-------"What Exactly will Victor Be Working On with US?" She
Grinned!---"WELL Elaine! It Seems That Victor Here Has An interest in FINE
LADIES NYLONS!-and He Has VOLUNTEERED To Begin LEARNING!-That Is Under Our
DIRECTION, The Ways and Procedures Involved in Understanding what it takes to
be a COMPETENT and ATTENTIVE MAID!"---WOW!-MOM!-That is So Appropriate for
Victor!-I Agree!-and I Will Try To ASSIST You in His
ORIENTATION!"-----"Victor!" She Said Looking Directly at me Now!---"WHY Didn't
You ever Mention this to Us BEFORE?" She MOCKED with a Wide GRIN On HER
FACE!---"We Might make Good use of Those Black Nylons Mom!---what do you
Think?-Elaine Said Questioning Her mother!-"Oh!-I really don't think so at
this time Ellain! Lets Give that some thought a little later, since we already
know that He Has such an interest in them and we really wouldn't want to
Reward Him, Would We Dear!" She Replied Seriously to her second eldest
Daughter

I WAS LOST! ----I Wondered What Sandra Would have Advised had I explained my
relation with Elaine!

This Surely had been planned by the two of them before this morning! In fact
I'm sure that the entire family was in on all of this and they really must
have put their heads together over what was going to happen to me! I FELT
HELPLESS! And while Mrs. Murray and Elaine were standing there With Cocky
Looks on their faces and Starting to Step toward me, I slowly Stood up On
Rubbery Legs as Mrs. Murray Came among the table and took hold of my arm! I
Felt so Weak kneed and Dizzy from the Strain I was under and She Began to Lead
me after Elaine who had started to walk through the house towards the Back
area where Mrs. Murray and Diane's Bedrooms were. Walking With Mrs. Murray
Firmly Gripping My arm, I watched the Well Proportioned Figure of Elaine
slither in front of me in a Journey that seemed to take forever! And Yet it
wasn't a Large House and lasted only a few seconds! For a Second we Stood
Right in Front of Diane's Doorway!----"THIS Is an AREA of INTEREST TO
YOU!----IS it NOT VICTOR?"---Mrs. Murray said to Me As Elaine SNEERED Watching
