What If? The X-Men were X-Women

Chapter 3:

Are you still with me gentle reader. Yes, it is I Icutu. Watch now as events
continue to unfold. Our time is a few weeks later. Plans are being perfected
at the Massachusets Acadamy. Then comes a day like no other. Over at Avenger's
mansion the current leader, Janet Van Dyne, also known as the Wasp looked at
the monitor screen showing events of the shattering previous day. With her is
the latest team of Avengers, American Dream (Shannon Carter), Thor Girl
(Tarene), Mantis, Tigra, She Hulk (Jennifer Walters), Warbird (Carol Danvers),
and Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew)*.

' An entie group of women,' Janet thought,' Who would have ever thought that?'

Thor had been forced to return to Asgard and had chosen Tarene as his
replacement. Captain America had gone to an alternate reality to free it from
' Super-Nazi's'. American Dream was the cousin of Sharon Carter and had been
somehow exposed the the same 'Super Soldier Formula. Not even she knew how.
Iron Man, Wonder Man, and Hawkeye were now the nucleaus of the West Coast
Avenger's along with Firebird, Mockingbird, and the reformed Screaming Mimi
who was now calling herself Songbird. Hank Pym was also there as the teams
scientific advisor.

The Vision was currntly wandering the country with a newly revived Jim
Hammond, the Original Human Torch. Hercules had returned to Olympus. This led
to the unusual grouping of Avengers that now looked in horror at the replay of
the previous days events. The events of 9/11!

" I can't beleve it," Tigra shook her head.

" Please, turn it off," Spider-Woman sobbed hiding her face.

" Madness. Sheer madness," Warbird/Carol Danvers said flatly.

" Yes, but it could have been worse," Wasp said," If He hadn't shown up."

" This one thinks we should contact the X-Women. They know him better than we
do," Mantis spoke up.

" Yes, and Wanda is one of us," Wasp agreed.

" How well do we really know them anymore though?," She Hulk asked," Wanda we
trust, and maybe Jean and Storm. But what about Magneta? "

" According to our records, Magneta is the daughter of Gabrielle Haller, a
respected Israli diplomat. However, she was also a known associate of both
Charles Xavier and Magneto," Warbird said," Before Magneto declared war on
humanity I should add."

" Last S.H.I.E.L.D. heard of Magneto, he had been turned into a baby,"
American Dream said.

" Old news, that was while fighting the Defenders," Spider-Woman said.

" Have to agree, Magneto's been back for a year now," Wasp said," What's weird
is where he's showing up and what he's doing."

" I confess, I am very unfamiliar with the names you are talking about," Thor
Girl said," Could you please fill me in?"

Janet began a brief rundown on the man known as Magneto as well as what she
could of the Defenders and X-Women. Warbird, and American Dream added what
they could of Air Force and S.H.I.E.L.D. files. She Hulk then stood up.

" Now, we are starting to get into some shaky legalties here," She Hulk said,"
I have done some research on this case, just as a matter of curiousity. When
the mutant known as Alpha reversed him into a baby, Magneto, in essence, and
legally, 'died', which is the maximum punishment under any legal system. Now,
since his 'rebirth' he has committed no crimes, and in fact has captured
dozens of super villains, saved countless lives, and in general, been the
complete opposite of what he was."

" Including yesterday," Tigra said," Maybe as many as 3500 people died
yesterday, but Magneto showed up and kept the towers from collapsing for
almost 2 hours, saving thousands of lives."

" If he hadn't been there, the death toll could have been 10,000 or more,"
Spider-Woman sadly added," God, the world has gone crazy!"

" This one thinks we should talk to X-Women, yes," Mantis said.

" I've already invited them," Wasp smiled," They will soon be here."

" What? Jean and Psylocke are both telepaths," Tigra said," Do you really
think they'll show up if they know what we are wanting to do to them?"

" Of course," Wasp said," That's the reason they'll show up."

As if on cue there was a buzzer from the front gate. Using their special code
the X-Women drove onto the grounds of Avengers mansion. The Avenger women were
pleased that the X-Women exited their custom limo wearing coats, sandels, and
nothing underneath. Once inside the women stripped cmpletely nude and headed
for the rec room where Wasp and Jean had planned for their meeting. Jarvis
would have been shocked had the Wasp not given him the day off.

" Jean,Wanda," Wasp happily said as she and the other female Avengers entered
the rec room, also completely nude.

Jean and Janet kissed in greeting, then Wanda and Janet.

" This is about me isn't it?," Magneta hung her head sadly," My father shows
up and everyone thinks I'm evil."

" I don't," Wild Thing reassured her and hugged her.

" Janet," Wanda said," We haven't even seen Magneto since his 'rebirth'. And
Magneta never knew him. She's a good girl."

" Where's Natasha?," Jean asked.

" She started her own group, the Marvel Knights," Warbird said," Black Cat,
Elektra, another Black Widow named Yelana Belova, Isis, a Green Lantern named
Arisia, and her."

" Of course we have sex parties with them twice a week," She Hulk smiled.

Jean was curious as to why even the non mutant heroines were realizing they
were lesbians. Male hero's and villains seemed to be vanishing. The Fantastic
Four was now a female Miss Fantastic/Rita Richards from an alternate realty,
the Invisble Woman/Sue Storm, Ms. Marvel/Sharon Ventura**, and Nova/Frankie
Ray. Frankie Ray had been released from the service of Galactus, been returned
to Earth and her original powers.

" Well, you know that even though we are friends, have known each other for
years, and are in the same side, we have to fight," American Dream laughed,
breaking any tension left in the room.

Everyone thought that was really funny as they began to pair up.
