Love and Consequences by Seldom (seldomlasts@yahoo.com) Euphegenia gets hurt. ***** AUTHOR'S NOTE ***** The sequel to "Truth and Love". Quite a lot of violence. The Euphegenia saga gets much darker in this one. Feedback welcome. * * * * * "Why are you doing this?" Euphegenia asked, her beautiful face troubled. Six of them accosted her this time, three on one side, three on another, trapping her in the school hallway. This late after school, no teachers were there to see and interfere. Euphegenia had just finished volleyball practice and gone to her locker to pick up a few textbooks when they ambushed her. "You hurt our friends, bitch," one of them, Hank, spat angrily. A fullback, he was simply enormous, muscles bulging from every seam. Several state colleges were trying to recruit him with full scholarships. "It's better to love. I love you," she said, clearly struggling to understand the situation. Much of the world remained a mystery to her. "Love this, cunt!" one of the attackers yelled, rushing her. She blinked in surprise, and was suddenly safely out of his way. He yelled as he crashed to the ground, his ankle throbbing painfully. "Please, I, I don't want to hurt you," she said, her large blue eyes opened impossibly wide, nervously running her hand through her hair, tucking the flowing blonde locks behind her ear. The players mis-took her nervousness for weakness and snickered. Another one charged. She sidestepped without striking him this time, she simply was there and then...elsewhere. Nonetheless he tripped over his own feet in surprise and crashed to the ground. Euphegenia looked down at him in distress, her eyes moist. The first one she had tripped was picking himself up, ignoring the pain in his ankle, determined for revenge. It slowly penetrated that these boys wanted to do the same to her what they did to Melvin, possibly worse. This time she was unencumbered by the desire to save someone else and she could easily escape. She felt no shame in running away, no desire to stay and fight these boys. The part of her that had awakened in the earlier fight, the part that enjoyed inflicting violence and pain, was nowhere to be found, and she was grateful. So Euphegenia quickly searched for an escape, though to the snarling boys she simply appeared to stare at everything and nothing, like always. Then, before any of them could react, she shoved one of them to the floor and sprinted away, her incredibly long, slender, athletic legs easily carrying her away much faster than they could chase. * * * * * Ginny interrupted her sister's meditation with a knock on the door. "Sis?" she said quietly. Euphegenia blinked slowly and looked up at her with those big blue eyes, lazily stretching out from her meditative posture. "Hi Virginia," she said. She was the only one who called Ginny Virginia. Ginny entered her sister's room. It was pink and entirely too girly for the young tomboy's taste, but she simply accepted it as she accepted all things about her very weird sister, with intense loyalty and love. Ginny was very tall for her age, approaching five-four, and broad-shouldered, thick, muscular. While her sister played a few sports, Ginny played all sports, and kicked ass in everything she tried. The only passion they truly shared was the martial art each of them had devoted themselves to since they were six. Euphegenia, always the sweet-natured, gentle-tempered one, had taken to the more passive and meditative aspects of the sport, while Ginny learned better ways to beat people up. Still, the enforced meditation had taught Ginny self-restraint, discipline, and compassion. Both sisters were quite literally lethal fighters, but both abhorred real violence. Ginny just abhorred it, well, violently. The shorter blonde went over to hug her sister. She knew what had happened to Melvin, of course, and she heard what the football players had tried to do today. "I'm proud of you, sis," she said cheerfully. "Of course, I would have taught those assholes a lesson they wouldn't have forgotten, but still, I think you did very well." Ginny privately thought Euphegenia had let the boys from the first fight off way too light. They would never play football again, but they could still walk, something Melvin might never do again. Ginny hoped they rotted in prison, gang-raped and beaten for the rest of their lives. Ginny's fantasies were not a nice place to live. Euphegenia looked deeply troubled. Ginny didn't understand her, exactly, but she knew how to communicate with her, most of the time. She just stayed silent until Euphegenia blurted out whatever was on her mind. "I'm afraid I'm a bad person," she eventually said quietly. Ginny knew better than to scoff. That would just shut Euphegenia up, and she would never talk about it again. Instead Ginny asked, "Why?" "I liked hurting those boys. I wanted to hurt them," she said. Ginny was amazed. Even she rarely got a direct answer from her sister. "I want to hurt them, too," Ginny said aggressively. "But, but that's, I mean, what about what mother used to say about love? I don't love the boys who hurt Melvin. I can say I do and pretend I do, but I don't." Ginny sighed and hugged Euphegenia tightly. "Oh sis, you're so innocent," she said. She hunted for a word she had heard a few times, especially when it came to her sister. "Naive," she finally said. "People say that to me a lot. I don't understand," Euphegenia said. "Why aren't people happy and nice to each other?" Ginny sighed. "I don't know," she said. "I love Melvin," Euphegenia said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I mean, differently than I love everyone, I love him. I, I kissed him. But I feel so corrupt. I'm evil. I'm just like the boys who hurt him. He's so smart and wonderful and beautiful, so full of love. But I...I'm tainted." Ginny bit her lip in frustration. It happened rarely, but once her sister was fixated on an idea, she was nearly impossible to persuade otherwise. This time Euphegenia seemed determined to hate herself, to punish herself forever for the crime of not loving all of her fellow humans, even bullying, torturing scum like the boys she had beat up. "Sis, lighten up," she said. "You didn't hurt any of the boys who attacked you today, and in my opinion you took it way too easy on those other jerks. You're the most loving person I've ever met. Stop beating yourself up." Euphegenia's gaze drifted around the room and she fell silent. Ginny could tell she was losing her, but she didn't know what else she could say. Euphegenia finally said, "Maybe Gary and Tony will forgive me." Ginny thought of the two boys in the hospital, one with a broken arm and jaw, the other with smushed organs that might never work properly again. "Um, sis, you can't depend on them forgiving you, you know..." Euphegenia looked at Ginny seriously. For once Ginny thought she saw a glimmer of rational thought in her sister's mind. "I know," she said quietly. "They'll never forgive me." The pain in Euphegenia's eyes was almost too much to bear. Ginny squeezed her sister tight and planted quick, loving kisses all over her cheek. "Stop it, Euphie, stop it, please," Ginny said, near tears herself. "You're one step away from sainthood. I know it, Dad knows it, and if Mom were here, she'd know it too. Don't do this to yourself, don't do it to me," she pleaded. "You know you're the strength in this family," she whispered. "Please be weird again. I love you." She knew the power those three words had over Euphegenia and used them deliberately. "Don't call me Euphie," Euphegenia said mildly. "My name is Euphegenia." Ginny almost cried from sheer happiness. Their mother had named them, and nothing could ever convince Euphegenia to accept a nickname. "Okay, sis, I won't." Euphegenia wrapped one long, comforting arm around Ginny. Ginny snuggled in, feeling the hard, protecting muscle under the soft skin. She knew one day she would be as strong as her sister, maybe even stronger, but she would always love her sister's touch, physically hard yet infinitely loving and tender at the same time. She rested her head on her sister's soft breast and snuggled for a long, long time. * * * * * Euphegenia was elated. Tex, one of the boys who had accosted her in the hallway, had come up to apologize and say he realized the error of his ways. Her faith in the power of love restored, she followed him, babbling about a hundred different topics at once. It didn't bother her that his only responses were grunts and the occasional "Um, yeah." She didn't notice when he led her down a brick alley with only one exit. Without seeming to move, she suddenly caught the baseball bat that had been about to crash down on her head. She plucked it from her attacker's hands with graceful ease and nailed him in the nuts with it. Hank collapsed to the ground, moaning. Suddenly four more menacing shapes filled the entrance to the alley, part of the same group that had tried to attack her earlier. Euphegenia held the bat nervously, not sure what to do with it. "Tex?" she asked fearfully. "What, bitch?" he growled. He grabbed her from behind, shoving his hard dick against her ass and reaching around to cup her breasts with his hands. He hefted them roughly, squeezing them. "Oh yeah, this is gonna be fun," he said. "Tex? What are you doing?" she squeaked. He used one hand to take the bat from her. She gave it up eagerly, not wanting to hold it, relieved that he would keep it safely away from the other attackers. She was bothered that his other hand kept pawing her soft breast and his insistent dick poked her ass, but she could deal with that later. She was surprised when he tapped the bat against her thigh, spreading her legs apart with it. "Yeah baby, that's right, just let it happen," he said nastily and laughed. It began to dawn on her that maybe he was part of the ambush. "Tex, what about your apology? I love you and forgive you, doesn't that mean anything?" she asked plaintively. "You fucking love everybody, don't you, bitch?" Tex sneered. By now Hank had managed to pull himself to his feet and joined the other boys in laughter. "Just full of fucking love. Didn't stop you from fucking up our buddies, all that love, though, did it?" The boys all snickered malevolently. Euphegenia was trapped. There was no way she could bullrush her way past all five guys in the alley's entrance. Tex still had a firm grip on her breast and was slowly rubbing the bat over her inner thighs. "Please don't make me hurt you," she whimpered. They again mis-took her pleading for weakness. "Hurt us, bitch? There are six of us and one of you. I think you're gonna be the one hurting this time, especially after I get through with you." Hank grabbed his crotch suggestively and made a humping motion. The other boys laughed again. Euphegenia didn't see how she could get out of this without seriously hurting or killing some of the would-be rapists (she had a vague notion what Hank's rude gesture had meant). A part of her felt excited at the imminent violence and raged inside, yearning to be let free. The tall blonde bit her lip and hesitated. While she stood undecided one of the players, Gene, a second-string quarterback, cockily walked over and slammed her in the stomach with his fist. "Oof," she said, staggering back against Tex. She had barely had time to protectively flex her abdomen. Gene yelped in surprised pain and opened his eyes wide in disbelief. He had clearly intended that to be a devastating blow, but his hand seemed to hurt more than her stomach. The painful blow had settled the argument raging in Euphegenia's head. Her finely honed instincts took over. She sent the heel of her shoe crashing into Tex's nuts behind her while her elbow whipped around and smashed into his face, crunching bone. He barely had time to look surprised before the force of her blow sent him crashing hard into the side of the alley, blood gushing from his broken jaw. She twirled around in time to catch Gene's angry charge and used his momentum to send him crashing into the opposite wall. Her amazingly powerful arms hauled him back and actually lifted him off the ground, then rammed him into the wall again. His skull cracked against the building. She let the boy drop to the ground. She turned to Tex and, determined that he wouldn't re-enter the fight, snapped out two devastating kicks that shattered his pelvis and one of his legs. The remaining four attackers muttered angrily, some of their aggression turned to fear at the horrific devastation the seemingly sweet, defenseless, slender blonde had unleashed. She turned to face them, her normally serene face settled into a deadly calm, her spectacular bosom heaving. Rarely-seen muscles were etched on her smooth long limbs, flexed and ready to break more fragile male bones. One boy rushed to either side and grabbed her arms. She struggled to free herself but they gripped her tightly. She whipped out a blazingly fast, powerful kick that shattered the balls of one of her attackers. She viciously stomped his skull when he collapsed to the ground, her devastating heel sinking into bone with a wet crunch. Meanwhile Hank had managed to grab the bat and brought it crashing down on the top of her head. She collapsed woozily and slumped to the ground. Three punches hammered into her skull and everything went a little hazy. She was vaguely aware of them ripping off her pants, first Hank, then the other two boys entering her private place and depositing their hot sperm inside her. She tried to mumble vague protest but everything was moving so quickly and it was so hard to think. Then a new sensation of pain as Hank laughingly rammed the baseball bat into her vagina, stretching the lips painfully until her normally tight canal was strained to its very limit to accept the head of the bat. Blood gushed from her violated pussy. He rammed it in repeatedly while the other two boys played with her soft breasts. One of them pulled out a knife. The other two sniggered. "Yeah, fuck the bitch up," Hank said. They all turned as they heard a shriek of rage. Ginny stood at the end of the alley accompanied by Gerald, a genial fullback, by far the largest boy on the football team. His face was a mask of shock and revulsion, hers a terrifying twisted demon of fury and hate. "Stay out of this, Gerald," Hank said nervously. "Ain't none of your business." Ginny howled again and charged forward. Hank blinked in surprise, but before he could react she grabbed him by his belt and his throat, and the five foot four inch, twelve year old blonde hoisted the six-three, two hundred sixty pound football player over her head like he weighed no more than a textbook. She charged and rammed him into the wall. Bones broke with a sickening crack. Instead of letting him go she continued to slam him into the brick, her thick biceps straining, adrenaline coursing through her bloodstream in blind fury, and Hank's body broke repeatedly, squishing around, blood splattering the wall and Ginny with every wet crunch. The blonde fury didn't care, only wanting to destroy him with raw brute strength. The other two boys, slow to react, finally shook themselves out of their torpor as the blonde hellcat tore apart their friend. They went to his aid but suddenly found themselves hoisted into the air, their necks enclosed by two enormous biceps. "Oh no you don't," Gerald growled. He squeezed, their struggles meaningless to the gigantic fullback, and eventually they fell unconscious. He let his two teammates slump to the ground and gasp for breath. "Ginny," he said gently, resting a huge paw on her broad shoulder. "Ginny," he said again, as she showed no signs of stopping. He squeezed tightly, and eventually the blood-splattered girl looked up at him, her pretty face contorted with hatred. "I think he's done," Gerald said, nodding to the huge battered boy in her trembling flexed arms. Her face slowly relaxed, and she simply dropped Hank. She directed one more vicious kick into his mushy skull. A fountain of blood sprayed the wall. "Ginny," Gerald said firmly, drawing her away. The young blonde looked down at the twisted, battered, violated body of her strong sister and wept. She clutched Gerald tightly, burying her face in his muscular chest, wetting his shirt with her tears. "There, there, it'll be okay," Gerald said, patting her on her cute blonde head. "Everything will be fine," he said soothingly. He disentangled himself from the strong little girl. He gently removed the bat still lodged in the tall blonde's bloody vagina and hoisted Euphegenia onto his thick shoulders. * * * * * "Virginia?" Euphegenia whispered softly. Ginny's moist eyes lit up with joy at the sound of her sister's voice. "Oh sis, I'm so glad you're awake!" she said with a choked sob. She grabbed Euphegenia in a powerful hug and started planting quick joyful kisses over her face. "Oh thank God," she muttered repeatedly between kisses. Euphegenia suffered her sister's affection with patience, taking the time to slip into meditation to examine herself. Her head throbbed vaguely, the pain not quite suppressed by the drugs in her system. She flexed her legs experimentally and felt some pain in her private area. She flexed her inner muscles and immediately sharp pain flooded her body. "I was raped," she said in surprise. She couldn't seem to attach any emotion to it. Ginny stopped hugging and looked down at her sister tearfully. She gulped and nodded. "With a...with a baseball bat," she said, crying. Euphegenia nodded slowly. Her head didn't seem to hurt too badly. "Did I, um, kill anybody?" she asked hesitantly. Ginny bit her lip. "No," she said. Euphegenia thought she detected a "but". "What is it? What happened?" she asked. "I did," Ginny said in a barely audible whisper. Euphegenia gasped, her big eyes focusing on her sister in shock. "What?" "I...I killed Hank. He beat and raped you, and when I saw him shoving that bat in your...um, I just wanted to beat and beat him. I beat him to death," Ginny said. She couldn't face her sister. Euphegenia reached out and clasped Ginny's hand. The little girl was sobbing violently. "Are you going to be in trouble?" Euphegenia asked. Ginny shuddered. "I don't know," she sobbed. "They can't decide if it's justifiable defense or murder. You must think I'm terrible, a real monster. I am, I am," she moaned. "Shh," Euphegenia said. "I love you Virginia." "I love you too, sis. Always." Euphegenia gave Ginny's hand a comforting squeeze. Ginny drew in a shuddering breath. "There's more," she said reluctantly. Euphegenia nodded and waited, her eyes focused with unnatural clarity. Ginny took a deep breath. "Well, the bat did a lot of damage, you know, and, um, and...the doctors aren't sure yet, but you might not be able to have kids." The words came out in a whispered rush. Euphegenia's eyes unfocused and began wandering around the room. "I would like a baby someday," she murmured as if to herself. Ginny let out a pained wail and fled the room.
