Melissa strikes a pose

Melissa The Lion Killer

By Sam
Dedicated to Melissa Coates, the epitome of Strength and beauty

Melissa, having already removed her blouse, quickly kicked off her high heels and shimmied out of her leather mini skirt. She brushed her long blonde mane back over her shoulders took a deep breath and without another thought she launched herself over the concrete barricade. It was a twenty-foot drop to the cool clear water below; her body made nary a ripple as it pierced the surface in a perfect dive. Melissa kicked driving herself toward the bottom of the pool, toward the small object that was drifting ever so slowly downward. It looked like a small doll, a child's toy perhaps, its pale face emotionless, its seemingly lifeless eyes staring at her, it continued gliding ever downward leaving in its wake a trail of tiny bubbles drifting back upwards towards the fading light.

The four-month-old baby girl had somehow slipped from her mother's arms and fell into the icy water below. Everyone around stood by, petrified with fear, everyone except Melissa. She acted! Too anyone that knew her it would not have been a surprise. She hadn't achieved her success in life by waiting for others. She was a woman of action; it was her nature to act, and act she did.

Melissa after what seemed like an eternity finally reached the infant as it came to rest on the concrete floor of the pool. Grabbing the baby girl in her arms she pushed off the bottom with her powerful legs and rocketed towards the surface. Immediately After breaking the surface she placed her mouth over the tiny nose and mouth of the infant and inflated her small lungs with a breath of air. She was rewarded with a sputtering cry. Breathing a small sigh of relief she emerged from the water. Standing on shore, clad only in her lacy white bra and panties, she realized her troubles were far from over, in fact, her troubles had just begun. The wall the baby had accidentally been dropped over wasn't just any wall. It was the wall of the Lions den at the San Diego Zoo. Six large male lions stood just yards away, from Melissa and shivering infant, and they were not happy at the sudden intrusion into their territory.

Melissa could see that the baby's left leg was severely broken, the bone had broken the skin and the baby was losing blood quickly. She was already in the early stages of shock and the chances of her surviving without immediate medical attention were zero. Melissa weighed her options; she could go back into the water and wait for the zoo officials to get them out, which could take more time than the little girl had, or she could take matters into her own hands and get her out herself. Of course she chose the latter.

Melissa quickly sat the infant behind a large stone where it would be out of sight and protected. It was a mere 20 yards across the den to the safety of the waiting paramedics but in between were six, very large, very angry, adult male lions. She knew the infant's life, measured in mere minutes, was in her hands. She decided it was time for some drastic action.

Melissa stepped up to face the snarling cats She knew if one of the Cats got beyond her the baby would be killed. The first Lion charged, leaping at her with a deafening roar. Instead of trying to duck the charge Melissa herself leaped into the air meeting the Lions charge head on with a devastating kick that connected just under the big cat's chin. The lion knocked backwards by the incredible blow hit the ground like a sack of flour. The dazed beast tried to rise to its feet but Melissa, too fast for it, was right there to deliver two more powerful kicks, one with each leg. Each kick landed square beneath the cats gaping jaws, snapping it's head back and nearly lifting the six hundred pound animal off its feet. The lion dazed and unable to stand slumped to the ground. Melissa, taking no chances finished the battered beast off with a slashing karate chop to the back of its neck. A final shudder ran through the cat's body before going completely limp at the feet of the sexy super blonde. Not waiting for the next cat to charge Melissa did a back flip that landed her right in the middle of the remaining five. Moving at lighting fast speeds, she delivered two devastating kicks to the head of the giant cat that was unfortunate enough to be closest to her. Then drawing back her fist she threw a crunching blow that slammed home right between the giant cat's eyes crushing its skull and dropping the beast dead in its tracks " Two down, four to go." Melissa said, beneath her breath. Melissa wasting no time turned just in time to duck a swipe from a massive paw. As the razor sharp claws whizzed harmlessly over her head Melissa threw a hard punch to the lion's midsection, then another and another until she felt the ribs of the great cat shatter. The Cat, having the breath knocked out of him, staggered backwards barely able to keep his feet. Melissa pressed her attack connecting to the side of the lion's head with a tremendous spinning back kick that sat the lion back on his haunches; she then finished the beast off with a right uppercut that nearly took the beast's head off. She coolly watched as the giant beast collapsed in a lifeless heap at her feet. Now there were only three beasts left between her and the other side of the den.

Melissa stepped, triumphantly, up on top of the dead beast at her feet.Turning to the remaining three she smiled as she brushed her long blonde hair from her face."Who's next!" She taunted. The three enraged lions sprang straight for her. The first two lions to reach her were rewarded with skull crunching kicks that flipped them backwards in mid leap, leaving them, shaking their great heads, dazed and barely able to stand.

Melissa trying to avoid the charge of the third beast lost her footing falling onto her back with the enraged beast landing right on top of her. She locked her powerful arms around the Cat's giant paws while her hands gripped the fur on either side of the cat's massive head. She struggled trying to keep the Cat's jaws away from her throat. She took a deep breath and with all her might brought her leg up driving her foot into the cat's groin, crushing it's balls. Instantly all the fight went out of the beast as it howled in agony. Now instead of forcing the cat away from her Melissa now held the beast tight keeping it from fleeing as she brought her foot up again and again each blow smashing into the lion's groin with tremendous force. The big cat, unable to stand the agony of Melissa's kicks, collapsed in an unconscious heap on top of her. Melissa then brought her muscular legs up under the limp beast, legs hardened and strengthened from countless hours in the gym, she then kicked upwards with all her might, flipping the unconscious beast 5 yards over her and into the deep pool that surrounded the den, where it sank like a stone.

Now the only two beasts that stood between Melissa and the gate were the two, still dazed, giants that she had dealt with earlier. Not giving them a chance to recover their senses, she quickly placed both of the semiconscious beasts in a headlock. Her remarkable biceps bulged as she squeezed the cats against her breast. Her body exploded in a mass of curvy muscle as she strained against the struggling lions, which were quickly weakening from lack of oxygen. Taking advantage of the weakening beasts Melissa took a deep breath thrusting out her chest, her incredible breasts pushed out against the lions heads as her powerful arms crushed them toward her. Her rock hard biceps grew to the size of softballs as she strained, squeezing the necks of the giant animals with bone crushing pressure until finally; unable to take anymore, the muscles of the cats yielded to the might of the blonde goddess. Melissa heard the two loud cracks, almost in unison, as each of their necks snapped and an instant latter both beasts were limp in her arms. Melissa loosened her grip and the two lifeless giants, their necks clearly broken, flopped to the ground their heads coming to rest at impossible angles to their bodies.

The crowd overhead roared in applause as they watched Melissa finish off the last two of the great cats. Oblivious to the cheers, Melissa ran to the infant scooped her up in her arms, and now with no threat from the lions she carried, the child carefully, casually stepping over the limp bodies of the dead beasts, to the other side of the den where she handed her through the bars and into the waiting hands of the paramedics. Only after the child was safe did Melissa begin to realize the crowd above was shouting her name. She walked to the edge of the deep pool and waved up to the people.

"MELISSA! MELISSA! MELISSA!" The crowd was chanting her name and cheering uncontrollably. Many were throwing roses, from a nearby flower cart, down on her.

" HEY MELISSA HOW ABOUT A PICTURE?" A photographer yelled down at her.

Melissa, never one to shy away from a camera,  walked over to the largest of the vanquished beasts. The huge cats, one resting on the other, could not of looked any more dominated, both now lying in a growing pool of their own urine. Regarding the lifeless pile of fur at her feet, Melissa brushed her hands together in exaggerated fashion. So much for the King of Beasts, she thought. She then struck several sexy and powerful poses, flexing her muscles and arching her back to the point of almost popping her tiny bra, all to the loud cheers of the ecstatic crowd above. Zoo security, ill prepared to handle such a situation, were unable to contain the crowd, several of the media actually burst through and into the den. Melissa graciously satisfied them all by posing for photographs and answering all their questions.

When it was all said and done six lions lay dead at the feet of the sexy muscle queen. A collective three thousand plus pounds of savage teeth, muscle and claw, rendered lifeless at the hands of the five foot four blonde bombshell. The Zoo awarded Melissa a rug made from the hide of largest lion, which she happily accepted and used to grace the floor in front of her fireplace. The other cats were made into custom rugs as well, and sold at a special auction, Each hide bore a hand written brand by Melissa herself which read; "Hand made by Melissa Coates". It was the Zoo's idea to sell the customized rugs to raise money for a new lion exhibit, and Melissa was nice enough to personally sign each one. No one dreamed what a smashing success the auction would turn out to be, the lowest rug went for a staggering 50'000 dollars, and in total the Zoo raised over 320 thousand dollars! Celebrities from all over the world came to bid on the unique 'Hand made' hides.

Melissa's heroic feat had caused an immediate media storm, the likes of which were never seen before. She was flooded with requests for interviews and appearances. The press had quickly dubbed her Melissa the Lion Killer, a term Melissa, at first, found amusing, before she came to the horrifying realization that it wasn't going away anytime soon! Her private life became non existent, she was swamped with reporters everywhere she went, but, thanks to her, a baby girl had a band new chance at life. The fact that she had to tolerate her new nickname, and an insane media blitz, just for making rugs out of a few lions seemed a small price to pay.

The End
