MISCELLANEOUS RAMBLINGS ABOUT THE EXTRAVAGANZA by Rambler The Rambler/Dragon account of their day out. I was very nervous when I arrived at the hotel. I got there early, and it took me about 45 minutes to get up enough nerve just to go to the registration table. I felt like a fish out of water, completely out of my element. When I did spot a few of the ladies, they were bigger and more beautiful than I had ever expected. My blood pressure was surely off the scale, and my heart was constantly skipping beats. Maybe I gained a few extra hours of life that day! My soon to be friend Dragon spotted me and introduced himself. I felt just a bit more at ease. He saw Annie Rivieccio and asked her to pose for him. As soon as she opened her mouth I knew she was completely feminine, dispelling the masculine myth I may have had about her. She was huge, to say the least, and she posed for me, too. With Dragon leading the way, we were able to get many of the ladies to pose for and with us. They were all just as lovely as could be. And very, very feminine, even though some had deep voices. They were also very sexy, pardon my Chauvinism. We went into the ballroom for the start of the show. Don't ask me what the format was. All I know is that every time I looked up, there were beautiful ladies on stage, from the sleek novice fitness girls to the amateur bodybuilders to the huge ladies competing in the strength contest. Beauty and muscle at every turn! Some of the more impressive moments from the first half of the show: Some of the dance routines for the fitness girls looked very similar to gymnastics floor routines without the compulsories. All were very well done. The strength contest was awesome. The girls were huge and beautiful. We were really turned on when they started pumpimg those weights! These ladies are incredibly strong. Make no mistake about it. There are also very lovely. All of them. We met up with Al from the website who was wearing his Diana the Valkyrie badge. We introduced ourselves, and it was as if we were old friends right away. He led us over to Nicole Bass, who had her own table and was very easy to spot. She is one huge lady, and we talked and joked. Someone wanted to get a picture of me with Nicole, probably because I'm only about 5'5" tall, and they wanted to show just how big she really is. She draped her huge right arm around my shoulder, and as the cameras started popping I felt her gently lift me up with just her right arm! I put my left arm around her shoulder to steady myself. She was holding me as if I were a feather, feet dangling about 8 inches off the floor. I felt no pressure or pain as she held me. She didn't have to grip me tightly at all, she's that strong! And gentle, too! The cameras continued to pop, and finally she let me down. But as I write this, I still feel that I'm still several inches off the ground, floating gently in her huge right arm. It was a thrill I'll never forget, and I can only dream about the day it might happen again! At the intermission we had an opportunity for more photos and posing. With Dragon leading the way, we were able to get lots of photos. The ladies talked briefly with us, and my blood pressure and heart rate were at a constant fever pitch. You cannot imagine the thrill of having these ladies gently drape their huge arms around your shoulders or waist and gently hold you as you pose for a picture. You can just feel their strength, their gentleness and femininity. It's something that has to be experienced. I spotted Cheryl Harris and introduced myself. She had previously sent me a message on her Message Board that she would like to get together. She seemed very happy to meet us. Again, we talked and joked, and she said she was busy with sessions. Like all of the other ladies we met that day, she was just as lovely as could be. She gave me a bear hug the likes of which I'll never forget! Maybe someday I'll be fortunate enough to have a session with her or one of her Iron Belles. After lunch, Dragon and I went back to the hotel for more photos and introductions. The ladies seemed very happy to pose with us. We posed with Christy Wolf, the eventual winner of the strength contest. She had long, beautiful hair, and of course, those muscles! We met another bodybuilder, Annie Klepacki, who told us that her father was a bodybuilder. She was in the Heavyweight division, I think. She was about 5'9" tall, beautiful and very well muscled. I thought she was in Diana's Gallery, but I couldn't find her later. Hopefully we can rectify that situation. Dragon had previously rented a room in another hotel, as he had planned to stay overnight. We went back to his hotel room to clean up and change for the second half and the evening festivities. He wore a sport shirt and slacks, while I went the whole route and put on a suit and tie. We made our way back to the Hilton and took some more photos. One of the ladies who posed with me was Gail Moher, a competitor in the Strength Contest. With her lovely British accent she seemed very classy, very intelligent. And of course, I was in awe of her strength! I, for one, was still totally amazed with the beauty, muscularity, and femininity of these ladies. I couldn't help but compare these ladies to the ladies I've seen on television in the Miss America Pageant. Yes, the Miss America ladies are quite beautiful, but the ladies we saw at the Extravaganza had just as much facial beauty, charm, perfect makeup and long, gorgeous hair as Miss America contestants. Plus they had all that fantastic muscle. In my mind, the Miss America ladies don't hold a candle to these wonderful musclegirls. It's not even close. The second half of the show started, and again, I couldn't follow the format. All I know that there were beautiful, muscular ladies every time we looked onstage. Dance routines, fitness posing routines, bodybuilders flexing and posing, and the awesome strength contest all followed in sequence. There were guest posers and routines. Debbie Kruck did a fitness routine. She has to be one of the ten most beautiful woman on God's Earth, no doubt about it! Maria Gonzalez also did a fitness routine, and it was very well done. Mixed in with all of this activity was the guest posing by bodybuilders. It couldn't have been any better, as the female guests were none other than Christa Bauch and Tazzie Colomb! Christa was first, and she came dressed in a beer garden waitress costume. As the routine progressed, she got down to just a skimpy posing outfit. Christa is only about 5'2" tall, but she was without a doubt the hardest, most defined woman there! Every muscle on her body is huge and tight as can be! I talked to her later, and she was just as sweet and lovely as can be. It's hard to believe that she's 49 years old! Shortly after came Tazzie Colomb. She started her routine in a mans shirt and tie, and things got much better as she posed and danced. Tazzie is a big girl, with muscle size that would envy any man. But she's breathtakingly beautiful! No mistaking her for a guy! Her routine was as sexy as sexy could be, and all of the men in the house were sweating bullets by the time she ended. Another sight I'll never forget! As the winners of each event and division were announced, they came forward to accept their prize. I couldn't help but think that there were no losers today and tonight. Each one of these ladies was a winner, with grace, beauty, poise, and strength and muscularity, plus the femininity that defies description. Dragon and I, along with Al, were to find out just how sweet and lovely these ladies really are. The show was over at about 10:00, and we headed for the sponsors buffet and cocktail party. We circulated the room to see who we could see, then headed for the buffet line. As the line moved we watched as each lady daintily filled her plate with food. I was amazed to see that they were actually eating the same foods as me. No special diets tonight! Dragon and I looked for a place to park ourselves. We found empty seats at the same table as Vicki Cole, Lisa Smith, and Annie Rivieccio. Dragon sat between me and Vicki, with Lisa and Annie each to Vicki's left. Everytime I looked across the table I was in a direct line with Annie. I was in awe of her, as every time she lifted her fork to her mouth her huge bicep would flex slightly, sending shockwaves to my brain. Then her eyes would meet mine, and it was like a ray gun blast! Next to her sat Lisa Smith. And I was in awe of her as she ate and realized this was a highlight of the show for me. Lisa Smith's eyes. After dinner Dragon and I circulated and he got pictures of nearly every lady there! I was wishing I wasn't so shy. But I managed to get plenty for myself. Many of the ladies I didn't know, of course, so I just said,"Pardon my ignorance, but what's your name? I'd like to get a picture......." Dragon and I took turns snapping each others pictures. I'd get him with his camera, and he'd use my camera to get my pictures. It worked out really well. Thanks, Dragon! You got some great shots! But you have to give me the one of Vicki, Lisa and Annie at the table. Meanwhile, Al was busy taking pictures and getting interviews. It was busy, busy busy, the whole night! We also met Don the Dragon who is a Martial Arts movie star, and Jeff Everson, star of TN2000. Also, Dr. Pete from Bodydhaping was there, as was Steve Stone, host of Musclesport. We got photo after photo, including Tammy Simpson, winner of the middleweight bodybuilding division (I think), and the winner of the heavyweight division, whose name I honestly do not know, but I do know that she was strikingly beautiful! I was sandwiched between her and another blonde. Then we got Amy Pazzo, and a lady named Kim and whose last name I didn't get, and again, they put me in the middle. Wow! I was in the middle of not one but two blonde sandwiches!! But the ladies were definitely the best part of each sandwich. I had a brief conversation with Amy and Kim. As it turns out, Amy is from eastern Ohio, and I was there last year for a car show. And Kim is from Madison, Wisconsin, and I know people there in my car clubs. Small world, indeed. Both these ladies were as sweet, pleasant, and charming as could be. And they had great muscle! The night flew by, and we got as many photos as we could. I ran out of film. Another lesson I learned. Bring as much film as you can carry! I talked with Lindsey Hennesey, a former fitness model, who told us about one organization that is not paying out prize money to the ladies. She is in the process of taking action against this organization. We saw Tazzie Colomb again but couldn't get photos. Close up, this is one huge lady! Now Dragon and I both understand what the Tazzie thing is all about! And all through the evening, I still could not believe these ladies were as sweet and feminine as could be, while still packing all that muscle! At this point I find it important to thank the sponsors of the Extravaganza. They were Kenny Kassel, Antoinette Fiore, and Bob Bonham. To me, they did a great job, in spite of a few small glitches, which every show has. My hat's off to you people for a job well done, and please, please do it again next year! But all great things must end. As the ladies drifted back to their rooms, Dragon, Al and I, along with the fellow who sells the Valkyries shirts, talked for about an hour about the state of the "sport." As it was approaching 2 AM, I figured I'd better get on the road, as my drive home was about an hour and 45 minutes. I said goodbye to the guys, and promised to be in touch on the website. All during the ride home, I was definitly NOT sleepy. My adrenalin continued to flow just thinking af all the wonderful people I'd met. Once home, I found it difficult to sleep, as visions of beautiful, muscular ladies danced through my head. If I'm still on Earth next year, I'll be there! The things that stood out in my brain. Being lifted by Nicole Bass. The awesome Strength Contest. Getting bearhugged by Cheryl Harris. Watching Annie Rivieccio move. Lisa Smith's eyes.
