The Story Of The Gun 1991  be aware that there are at least two other movies with the same name. 


STARRING: Yukari Oshima Sophie Crawford Directed by Kirk Wong

ACCESS: video only, with english subtitles

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: an action yarn revolving around a band of gunrunners and
the police assigned to oppose them. Yukari steals the show here as one of the
gunrunners who outfights everyone, male and female, and only gets done in
finally because of her own reluctance to kill.

SCISSORS SCENE: two yachts are floating side by side out at sea and a wild
brawl has broken out between the gun runners and their customers as a small
boat approaches. the two officers on board (Sophie and a male officer) open
fire as Yukari and her gang wipe out the opposing gang. both officers get on
board the other yacht. they are trying to rescue the male officer's kidnapped
fiance who is tied to the mast of the ship. just as she frees herself one of
the male gangsters gets the drop on her husband. she is on a ledge just above
them and leaps down, spreading her legs as she does. her legs come down on
either side of his extended arm and she clamps down, stopping him from firing.
his face is only inches from her thigh when she smashes his face using a
leglift which she follows with a boot to his face. she then proceeds to punish
him with several spinning kicks.he falls down heavily against the railing of
the boat as Yukari arrives (having just out fought Sophie) and takes up the
fight.

POSITIVES: ok lighting and camerawork. not too much to get excited over here.
this was just a quick tactical fighting move. btw, she was wearing loose
fitting slacks.

NEGATIVES: as usual it was too brief.
