ACCESS: video only

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: a bevy of Las Vegas showgirls are recruited and trained
as commandos. (yeah, that could happen.) their mission is to rescue a
diplomat's son who has been kidnapped.

SCISSORS SCENE: the girls have been taken from their hotel room (an excellent
excuse to have them wearing various items of lingerie, pajamas, and whatever)
and brought to a hideout where they are chained against a wall. a fat little
"sheik" comes in to interrogate them, along with a Bengal tiger being led on a
leash. as he becomes frustrated with their answers to his questions he keeps
stamping his feet in anger, each time coming closer to the tiger's tail. just
after he has a guard unchain one of the girl's he steps on its tail and it
savagely attacks him. using this as a diversion, the girl who was free rushes
over to free the next girl in line. (hard to see how she does it since they
are supposed to be chained to the wall. if fact it looks like they all are
just holding onto to the chains which are hanging from above.) a guard tries
to stop her but she flattens him with two consecutive rights. she then fiddles
with one of the girl's chains and she is free! they then start fighting with
the guard who gets one of them in a bearhug from behind. as he backs up close
to the chained girls one of them leaps up and brings her legs down on his
shoulders, tightening her calves against his face. this allows the girl he was
fighting with to land a series of kicks which finish him off.

POSITIVES: hard to get a better setup. nearly a dozen longlegged Vegas dancers
modeling the Frederick's line of lingerie in a scissors scene. the girls
looked great. the camera work was ok.

NEGATIVES: aside from the cheesy special f/x the main problem was the scissors
itself. the lady did her best but clearly did not have a clue what she was
doing. her "grip" served only as a distraction so he could be knocked out by
someone else. the fights throughout the movie were the same. it looks like one
of the girls had a few weeks of karate school. the rest were just untrained.
it could have been so much better.
