GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Kika is a free loving, free spirited make up artist who
is the central character in Almodovar's dark, bizarre sex farce that deals
with such subjects as serial murder, rape, voyeurism, and sensationalism.

SCISSORS SCENE: there is none! the mixed scissors here is not in the movie but
ON the movie! on the movie "jacket or cover" is a very nicely photographed
color picture of a nude mixed headscissors. a woman is lying on her back
facing away from the camera. her legs are straight up in the air, locked
tightly around the neck of a kneeling man whose head is being held tightly
between her lower thighs and knees. he has an instant camera held up to his
eyes and is taking a picture of his scissorer. note that her private parts are
covered by a photo that he apparently had just taken, and there is a black bar
across her breasts that says in white letters, "a film by Pedro Almodovar".
her calves are crossed and her ankles are securely locked together behind his
head since this scissors does not happen in the movie i can only assume that
this was deliberately staged as a "cover" shot. either that, or the scissors
was cut out of the film.

POSITIVES: this is an exceptonally beautiful still photo of a well done mixed
scissors.

NEGATIVES: it should have been in the movie. i was ready to chew glass when i
rented it and found out it wasn't. still, while it may only be a tease and a
come on, it is the best looking video jacket i have ever seen.
