GENERAL DESCRIPTION: when a group of kidnappers take a beautiful princess
hostage, they have the misfortune to run into a bumbling dimwit of a police
officer who turns out to be the son of the famous Inspector Clouseau. there
are many hilarious moments in this romp that has some interesting casting. the
choice of Benigni to replace the late Peter Sellers could not have been
better. Shabana Azmi plays the estranged wife of the king who is behind the
plot. she is so breathtakingly, regally beautiful that it's worth the price of
the rental just to watch her do her scheming, even if she does have only a
small part.

SCISSORS SCENE: the kidnapped princess (Debra Farentino) is fighting it out
with Yussa (Jennifer Edwards). the princess is wearing long white robes over a
white pants outfit and Yussa has on a gray shirt, gray cap, and black pants. i
knew this was going to be the scissors scene because of all the clothing they
had on. Benigni is outside hanging from a helicopter by a rope. he swings in
thru a window and crashes thru several rooms before landing painfully in the
room where the ladies are fighting. upon seeing him Yussa grabs a small
machine gun and empties it at him, but she misses. as she tries to reload both
he and the princess tackle her and they go to the rug in a big tangle. now
there is an annoying cut away for about a minute to some fighting on the
outside of the building. when they cut back we see a close up of Yussa pinned
by one of the princess's legs across her chest. she puls the leg to her mouth
and bites it. the camera pans quickly over to the other end of the pile where
the princess cries out in pain and grabs a leg in front of her and bites it in
retaliation. Benigni cries out in pain and we see for the first time that his
head is caught tightly between Yussa's thighs. in turn he bites an arm that is
in front of him but it turns out to be his own, so he cries out in pain again.
now there is another cutaway to some comic fighting outside. when they cut
back all three are back up. Yussa lands a kick to the princess's body and then
does a head stand and catches her in a headscissors. when she flips her the
princess's legs come down around Benigni's head and he collapses to the ground
under her, getting a "face full of stuff" in the process. for a brief second
she is doing a facesit but quickly leaps off to continue the fight with Yussa.
she eventually knocks out Yussa with a kick from behind.

POSITIVES: let's see. a mixed HS, an f/f Hs, and a mixed facesit in one scene!
Blake Edwards (Skin Deep) heart is definitely in the right place. the setup
was excellent.

NEGATIVES: the camera work was quite questionable. too many cutaways, not even
one full, clear frame of the three of them tangled on the rug. both ladies
were energetic, even if they were wearing a bit too much clothing.
