movie mixed scissors scenes Wizards Of The Lost Kingdom II STARRING:David Carradine ACCESS:video only/WARNING: Carradine made 4 or 5 of these movies, many of which had similar titles (usually beginning with the words Warriors, Wizards, or Warlords). be sure you don't rent the wrong movie. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Proto-typical swords and sorcery flick. it's been about 10 years since i saw it so i'm a bit hazy on the plot. i do recall that Carradine and a small band of rebels fight an evil monarch. it's relatively entertaining. SCISSOR SCENE: Carradine's girlfriend and a young boy are trying to escape the king's castle through a window which overlooks a courtyard. she sees a guard patrolling below and calls to him as she climbs out. she acts like a damsel in distress asking him to help her down. as he tries to oblige she scrambles down on top of his shoulders until she is sitting behind his head with her long, shapely dancer's legs around his neck. (do i really have to tell you what happens next?) suddenly she locks her ankles together in front of his chest and squeezes hard. you hear a snapping noise and he crumples to the ground. she releases her collapsing victim on the way down and nimbly lands on her feet. POSITIVES:good set up, good looking girl (she does an ale room table dance earlier in the movie which was way ahead of it's time). good camera work. NEGATIVES:most scissors scenes are too short, and this one s a prime example. every thing was set up for a tremendous scissors scene. she applies the hold, and snap it's over in maybe 2 seconds. all the guy had to do was struggle a bit. instead he went down like a ton of bricks. what a shame. it could have been so much better.
