GENERAL DESCRIPTION: John Ritter has a major writer's block, a drinking
problem, and about ten women to whom he's unfaithful, including his wife who
is about to divorce him. he's is having affairs with everyone from FBB Raye
Hollitt to Springsteen's ex Julianne Phillips, but when he crosses Denise
Crosby (tough security officer from Star Trek-The Next Generation) she gets
very physical.

SCISSORS SCENE: it's at the very beginning of the movie. John Ritter's wife
(Alyson Reed) is supposed to be away so he takes her hair dresser to bed. one
of his other lovers (Denise Crosby) shows up and threatens them both with his
gun. he begs and pleads but she pulls the trigger and nothing happens. he
jumps out of bed and grabs the gun from her. she says, "i saw you load that."
he says, "you didn't pay attention. i always leave the first one empty." she
says, "oh, yeah" and pounces on him. they wrestle on the bed for the gun as
the nude hair dresser grabs the sheet and runs for her life. just then his
wife enters the house and climbs the stairs toward the bedroom. she is passed
on the stairs by the hair dresser trailing the sheet behind her. when she
arrives at the bed room she finds Denise Crosby pointing a gun at her
husband's head while choking him in a calf headscissors. he is pleading for
mercy as they exchange introductions and speak about his infidelities. when he
tries to speak they both shout, "shut up." finally his wife tells her, "if you
are going to kill him, please take him outside. those are new sheets." denise
thinks about it for a second but then decides shooting would be too quick. she
gives him one last squeeze and then releases him.

POSITIVES: good set up and camera work and this movie is overflowing with
beautiful women. not a bad movie, and it contains one of the most funny scenes
ever in the movies, which involves a luminous condom.

NEGATIVES: too short. also i prefer thigh to calf scissors but that's just my
opinion.
