Alien Avengers

STARRING:George Wendt (Norm from Cheers)
and Shanna Reed.

ACCESS:video/also the sci-fi channel has shown it 3 
times that i am aware of.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:an alien couple from a completely 
peaceful planet come to earth to
seek excitement by fighting earth's criminals.
this is a bizarre, campy, gory, and occasionally
funny dumb comedy that might be best viewed
with one finger firmly on the fast forward button.

SCISSORS SCENE:unforgettable. our vigilante couple 
have laid a trap for three punks who come marching down a large
alleyway. they see shanna lying on the ground apparently 
unconscious, with her dress hiked up showing
a lot of leg.  the first thug starts pulling down his 
pants and announces, "i'm first." as the others 
claim their place in line george wendt comes up behind 
them and tries to talk them out of raping
her. the 3rd punk goes over to him, punches
him out and steps on his face. the 1st punk,
seeing everything under control, lifts shanna's
legs up onto his shoulders and prepares to have his way with her. he is
surprised, however, when the "unconscious" shanna reed
smiles seductively, says "hi", and grips his neck in her 
calves. then she says "come to momma"
and pulls his head down just above her knees and then 
begins to squeeze him in her thighs.
she now begins laughing at him as he gasps for
air and punk #2 tries in vain to pry her legs off
punk #1. meanwhile george also stops "playing
possum". he gets up and starts beating punk #3
to a pulp. he even rips his leg off and beats him
to death with it.  the camera pans back and forth to 
both of them killing their victims as her
maniacal lughter fills the air. she suddenly
straightens out her legs and releases her
strangled victim. then the happy couple both
waste punk #2.

POSITIVES:this may be the longest mixed
scissors scene yet. she takes over 40 seconds
to strangle her opponent. the set up was good,
camera work was excellent, and her taunting
laughter definitely added to the entire effect.

NEGATIVES:shanna may not have the looks of
a supermodel or the body of a fitness queen
but her energy and imagination more than 
make up for it.
