DESIREE VS. VINNY (1986)

For anyone who hasn't seen Special Interest videos, this company offers 
many different aspects of  genre including mixed wrestling, fem vs. fem, 
boxing and lift videos.  Most of the girls are attractive, and quite 
athletic. However from the ones I have viewed, are strictly staged 
matches. 

That being said, they are the most entertaining staged matches that I 
have purchased.  Although they are scripted, the women are very skilled 
and can perform many wrestling techniques with grace and power.  The 
participants range from lightweight, feminine bombshells to heavyweight 
bodybuilders.  My preference is to athletic, good looking females but 
not bodybuilders, therefore I can only speak for these kind of mixed 
matches. 

The video in question is by far the best performance I have seen in a 
scripted match.  Desiree is listed as former gymnastics contender, and 
from the matches I have seen her in it is quite believable.  Although 
she would be considered too big to be a world class gymnast, her 
proportions for wrestling are perfect.  I would estimate her to be about 
5' 6'' in height and about 135 lbs.  A well proportioned body, not 
beautiful but easy to look at.  Her muscles are well defined but not 
those of a body builder. 

The video begins with Desiree doing some stretches against a support 
beam in an auditorium and scans to find Vinny doing push-ups on a mat 
preparing for his championship wrestling match on Saturday.  Desiree 
approaches and asks if would would like a sparring partner.  
Incredulous, Vinny reluctantly agrees but states he will be taking it 
easy on her.  His demeaner quickly changes as Desiree takes him down 
easily three times, the latter on an unbelievably executed reverse flip 
to a tight body scissor pin. 

This is approximately thirty minutes of fast paced and well executed 
wrestling maneuvers, mostly by Desiree.  Vinny manages very few take-
downs and no submissions as Desiree seems to have her way with the would 
be championship contender.  Desiree's ability to taunt and humiliate her 
opponent throughout the match make this video both enjoyable and 
arousing.  She is mostly in a humorous mood throughout the match, 
however toward the end shows a mean streak, intent on finishing poor 
Vinny - Her final remark leaving the impression that he is a beaten man 
for his Saturday match. 

If you like strictly competitive matches this may not be the one for 
you, however if you can get by the scripting the action is definitely 
intense and well performed to provide an entertaining video.
