ABSolicious III - Speechless! by Micha This series is based on a true history. It is the third part of an incredible, incomprehensible series. Like already said in the 2nd part, I would like to say something at the beginning, directly so also for the 3rd part. If one liked to attemp the same, please keep attention to my security references, that I wrote at the beginning of the 2nd part. Only who, who thought about everything and carry out this test, just like the same, as Mandy and I did, will have also his true fun at this. Now back to the actual scene. ABSolicious III is just a continuation of ABSolicious II. In this story, were next to Mandy, as a central figure, also the rebuilt leg press to the stomach press, the most important component. What I meant with the stomach press, please read in ABSolicious II. There I had described the construction, as also then the very first, successful test. (To see the pic of the press, please watch it at the german version of ABS.. II) In the meantime, some months had gone by, until it came to this story. From the first day of the testing with the stomach press, Mandy did, only one time per week, Crunches with the help of this stomach press, instead of normal Crunches. At the very first test/training (in ABS.. II described), Mandy had done 24 Crunches, with a weight of 226 lbs pressing down her ABS. Up to the day, from what I tell you now, she had extended this achievement to 326 lbs. She did then 20 reps with this weight. So about 3 months had gone by. But if one knew Mandy, one also knew, she was never satisfied. She wanted always so much, that it can become already dangerous. Like at every other strength exercise in the body-building sport, she also wanted to know, with this kind of Crunches, at which weight it would happen, that she either manages only another 1 repetition with highest energy, or that it is impossible for her to flex this weight up. With the time, we knew, that we could control everything very well with the cable winch. Also, if Mandy had so much weight on her stomach, that her ABS could not held that and the press would press her stomach down without resistance, we had the cable winch. We ourselves, had it in the hand, how far we let the weight go down and in the most dangerous scene, we could press up the whole weight, with only a few simple presses on the upward button of the cable winch. We had that in the meantime very much well under control, therefore, we both had never the fear, that it could result in an injury. No fear, noone will be hurt in this story. Mandys stomach was always already massively hard, like a concrete wall. However, through the training with the stomach press, her ABS did not get anymore deeper and bigger, her genetics were there fully exhausted, but the ABS became harder. One really must noticed, that she did now made crunches, with just 331 lbs on her stomach. When we, a half year ago, tried that funnywise out, I stood with my 183 lbs on her stomach. With my weight she had done 23 reps. Now she made crunches, with nearly the double of weight and nearly the same number of reps. And she could increase herself this, every further week. We had, in the meantime, already started with belly punching. Who wants, can look in the WWW, what belly punching means. People, who will train japanese combat workouts, will use this often as exercise. I will also write stories, about the belly punching with Mandy, because there will be, also there, unbelievable things to tell. Up to this day, we made only monotonous belly punch action. Mandy flexed then her ABS mostly different hard and I attempted to break this wall of stomach muscles, with my hits. But with bare fist, nothing was to be done there. At the beginning, ok, when I hit hard, quickly and repeatedly behind each other in her stomach, then I could already achieve something. But she felt then only the impact, she never felt a hurt! But through her training with the stomach press, her stomach had become completely resistant. Every day, always in the evening, we did some belly punching. But it was far more funny, to see, how far she will come with the stomach press. It first became much more interesting, with the belly punching, much later. I have only told you this here, in order to explain you, that her stomach, meanwhile, seemed like undisturbable. Exactly this, we wanted to test, at this day. OK, we knew, that the time will come, where her stomach can not resist anymore, but it was only interesting, at how much weight, this will be?! That was the thrill. Therefore, we started then. Mandy did a few pre exercises for her stomach, with normal Crunches. While she was doing this, I loaded the stomach press already with weight plates. We wanted to take 357 lbs as starting weight. This were 330 lbs only of weight plates and 27 lbs weighted the whole metal frame of the press. Like in the whole training sessions before, we had always shared the weight plates so, that on the middle rod of the foot plate (look at picture in ABSol.. II), laid the most weight. So I put two 44 lbs plates and two 22 lbs plates on the middle rod. On the outside rods, I put on each rod, two 33 lbs plates, one 22 lbs plate and one 11 lbs plate. Therefore then, there were in total 132 lbs on the middle rod and 99 lbs on each outside rod, all in all a total weight of 330 lbs. Indeed, we had a lot of weight plates, but more of the less lbs weights. After I armed this rods, I had only another four 22 lbs plates and four 11 lbs plates left. Then still only smaller weight plates between 1 lbs up to 5,5 lbs. But I thought, that we almost will not use all plates. Then Mandy lay down onto the cushion and I let down the foot plate, with the whole weight. Like always, only so far, that the wood pieces under the stomach plate, were still nearly 0,4 inch above Mandys ABS. So, Mandy could positioned herself under them. She did that also this time. When I pressed then one more time on the down button, the wood pieces pressed themselves on her ABS. I lay down next to her on the ground. If those wood pieces would then not pressed down Mandys ABS very symmetrically, she still would be able to relax her stomach, to change her lying position so long, if her ABS would be then exactly lay under the wood pieces. In this position, only the cable winch had the whole weight in grip. There were absolute no danger, that this weight would press down Mandys ABS painfully. Therefore, I lay down next to her. Her view was not the best, to see, if the stomach plate lies perfectly now on her ABS. I, therefore, had the better look and could helped her, if needable, to get in the optimal position. Would I press now once again on down and she would not have the strength to resist against the weight, the stomach plate would be pressed down her ABS around 0,4 inch. So, at the next time, only Mandys ABS, had to take the full weight and must therefore used all strength, to press up the whole foot plate with weight. But that was nothing new for us, she finally nearly made always Crunches like this. It was only the fact, that until this day, she had never more than 325 lbs maximally, pressing on her stomach. But after all, she had done 20 repetitions with this weight. With now 357 lbs, she will not been able to do so much reps, but in spite of that, it should be not such a problem for her, to do still crunches. We had said, before this strength training, as target, that she should not make so much reps, with each weight. She just should do only so many reps, until she would quickly notice, that she still had enough strength, for reps, with higer weight. Because we wanted to see, where her max was. The max, where she could made only 1 rep, or the max, that it will be impossible for her, to made one rep at all. But, the word impossible, was not in Mandys vocabulary. Of course, she knew, that there must be somewhere a border, but where? Even metal does not take every weight. But now we were only in the position, that the stomach plate just pressed on her ABS. From the whole other training we knew in the meantime, that I would have to press now still 7 times on the downwards button. Because, if Mandy relaxes her stomach fully and additionary gets air, for the coming flex, then the stomach plate would press down her stomach by 2,75 inch. Mandy must press then directly, from the deepest point, only with her strength, against the plate, until her ABS is again fully flexed. At this deepest point, the stomach plate stand then always a little oblique on her stomach, but only a bit. The most strength she had then to get always from the upper and middle ABS muscles. "And? How much weight do you have now total on the plate?" Mandy asked me. "I have now totally 330 lbs with weight plates, plus now the weight of the whole metal frame. Will be all about 357 lbs. We had said this so. Is that ok for you?" "Yo, is allright, you can let it so. You also can make the rope very loose. I should presumably make 10 Crunches with this weight!" "Ok, I have anything under control!" So, I pressed then 7-times on the down button and said then to Mandy, that she could begin now with the Crunches. Directly, she did that then. One could clearly recognized, which strength pressed there on her ABS. It was fascinating to see, how Mandy always, at the deepest point, had to spend her maximum strength. The stomach plate was laid, at the deepest point, a little obliquely on her single ABS segments. It were each time, only the first inches, only that fraction of a second, in which Mandy had to overcome this deepest point. This point was the most difficult, to get over it. Did she past this point, then the rest of the flexing went over with easy to middle effort. Her stomach was then fully flexed and she always held this position for 2-3 seconds, before she, with full concentration, did the next rep. Even if I already had seen, in the meantime, this play so often, it was each time most deeply impressive. This achievement, to press up 357 lbs, only with the strength of her ABS. Incredible, but true! My main part was always, to observe her very exactly. Only the smallest reaction in her mimicry or the smallest hand sign could be very important. With the time, we had agreed, that she only should give a sign with her thumb. Was everything OK, then thumb up, did she noticed the smallest problem, then thumb down. Then I must reacted immediately and control the cable winch. She made now already the 11th repetition like this. And it looked still, as if she could made some more, indeed with effort, but rather still with small up to middle effort. After the 14th rep, she held her ABS in full flex and meant: "Please, lift up the weight!" I reacted immediately, pressed repeatedly onto the remote control and only within a second, the cable winch had pulled up the weight so far, that her ABS was free again. "Did you give again everything? You only wanted to do 10, now you made 14! Not, that you use now too much strength?!" "That is hard to say. But I do not have the feeling, as if that would have been too hard, as if I had used too much strength. But I can clearly not say that so correctly. I first will see that at much higher weight!" "Ok, I understand you. Everthing also still looked very good for me. How much should I then now put more on the press?" "Since it went quite well, you could do a greater step now. Maybe put on 44 lbs more?! Will be the best, if you put 22 lbs on the middle rod and on each outside rod 11 lbs. I will then see, whether the step was good, or maybe to extreme?!" "If you want it so, I will do. But I also think, 44 lbs more, are not too much yet. You just made 14 reps and had determined still air for 6-7 more!" "Agree, I also think that. Therefore, put 44 lbs more on the press. I will do a short break now, so 2-3 minutes and will relax a bit!" I nodded shortly to her. I let then the cable winch pulled up the whole frame so high, so that Mandy had more place for standing up and I also still could kept on being able, to equip the foot plate, without a problem, with weight plates. So I put then a 22 lbs plate onto the middle rod and on each of the two outside one 11 lbs plate. In total, with metal frame, we came up to 401 lbs. Well, it was already a very great step, but we both had no objections, that this weight would bring Mandy at her full limit. She would not make so much reps, like before, but her maximum must be much higher. Not much higher, but higher! I had put on the weights very quickly and still looked, very amused then, at Mandy, doing her stretching-exercises for the stomach. As she stretched her oblique stomach muscles, one could see the many small ribs and the muscles lying above that. Very deep defined. She became also a bit sweating, at the reps before. Important was therefore, that she had to dry her ABS, before she started the next attempt. If she lies then again under the station, I gave her mostly another minute, until she concentrated and had also her breathing under control. But we have that all tested before, tried out enough. We were, not only at this day, like in all weeks, synchronizing very much. If she had dried then her stomach already, I was then allowed, to dry the grooves, who shared the single ABS packs. That was so fantastic. She flexed and relaxed repeatedly then and I dried then, with a towel, these grooves. As before mentioned, through her stomach training, she could not deepen these grooves furthermore, her genetics was there already at the end, but it was always so much fun, to dry her ABS. Then she laid herself down again, under the stomach press and positioned herself. I gave her shortly the towel, so that she could dry herself her ABS once more from the sweat pearls. Then I let the metal frame down again, so far down, that she was being able to positioned herself better. She, better said we, were ready for the next reps, this time with unbelievable 401 lbs. (In order, to make this story not too boring, I will not describe the future reps so detailed. I think, I made this already good enough. It will be better, to pay attention now to the special things, when they happened. Everyone should really imagine himself, what I saw every time.) So, Mandy was ready again. The stomach plate laid perfectly on her ABS and she breathed quietly. When I laid then next to her on the ground, she gave me the OK sign, that I could completely loosen the cable of the winch, which I also did then. It were now 44 lbs more of weight, that pressed on her stomach. During I had completely been loosening the cable in one second, Mandy pressed already strongly against the plate, so that the plate does not sink into the stomach immediately deeply. I saw, as the wood pieces of the stomach plate, pressed very strongly against her ABS and it felt Mandy heavily, to hold this flex very much. It was only second, but this one had it in itself. Nevertheless, Mandy kept the control and after 3 more seconds in full flex, she began then with the first rep. Very controlled, Mandy relaxed slowly the flex and the stomach plate sank more deeply and more deeply. When the flex was completely loosened, the time came up, in which she had to rely on her strength in the ABS. She got still some air and flexed then her stomach muscles very slowly. Slowly, the complete metal frame was lifted up again. But Mandy did not get it up to the full flex. It was at approx. ¾ of the way, where she still held the flex, but I also saw, that she got deeply air, before she kept on flexing then. With this extra air, she succeeded in fully flexing. Nevertheless, this first rep had it in itself. At her neck, thick veins had appeared. Also her face had discolored itself easily and I do not want to talk about the sweat pearls at all. But she did not do any signs, that she wanted to stop. It was simply the surprise moment of the first rep, with just so strongly increased weight. The 2nd to the 5th rep she made then better. Ok, she did them with very much effort, but in one concentrated way. Every rep lasted approx. 15 seconds, at which the relaxing became faster and the flexing slower. But she made the flexing movement now in one row, without extra air. The sweat pearls were, what gave me to consider. Those ones became actually extremely more and fought their ways through the grooves of her ABS. While I was lying next to her, I could really virtually look through these grooves. I could recognized well, how a lake full of sweat had builded in her belly navel. But that was not dramatic. As long as only the sweat gathered in the grooves between the wood pieces, nothing can happen. And since in the meantime, also over 400 lbs of weight pressed on her ABS, the possibility, that the stomach plate itself could slip a little, was very small. It was clear, that also under the wood pieces sweat would formed, but the weight was so big, the plate could not slip. 3 more reps passed by. I looked, already since the 4th one, very concentrated on every mimicry of Mandy. Always ready, to react as far as possible, to relieve her stomach, with the help of the cable winch. During the last 3 reps, she also got up with her shoulders, in the absolute ending of each flex. Through that, she got still more pressure in the ABS. I thought then, that she would do another 2, but probably only one more rep. So it came then also. At the end of the 9th rep, she stayed then in full flex position. I waited, whether she attempted to do one more rep, or whether I would get the sign to lift up the metal frame. But nothing came from her. Then, she lifted up again her shoulders and one could see, how the stomach plate went up, only a little, only around 0,1 inch. Then she gave immediately the sign for the lifting up. I obeyed and 2 seconds later her stomach was free again from every pressure. "Oh man, Micha, that was a damned hard work. I thought already after the first rep, that was it, more will not go. That I then did another 9, is really incredible. I wanted to give up earlier, so that I do not use too much strength, but it annoyed me, to go to the absolute end!" Mandy meant then. "Yes, I saw it. I think, the first rep was so heavy, because of the 44 lbs more of weight. At the second rep then, you know it and concentrated therefore better!" I answered. Then Mandy got up and wiped first once the whole sweat from the stomach. One saw now little pressure marks, which had left behind by the wood pieces. That did not look so bad, the stomach was in an a little red way discolored at these places. Then Mandy removed the towel and I touched her ABS, with my hands. I felt a warm ABS. Through the friction of the wood and the skin that ABS had warmed up a little. And I felt only muscles. The ABS was extreme hardened. With my fingers, I attempted at a few places, to push in the skin a little, but I did not came in deeply. Less than 0,1 inch were it, it were only her skin. "Ok, I think, I made now a little longer break, a few more minutes. We have enough Time left!" "Yes Mandy, you should earned this longer break. Relax, stretch and drink some water and then we will discuss, whether we want to continue and when we continue, how much I am supposed to increase then. I think another 44 lbs of weight now will be too much!" "Sure, we will absolute continue!! If I do now a longer break, I can then gain again enough strength. And you can put 44 lbs more on the stomach press. Do, what I will say to you. No protest!! I simply will concentrate then much better, will take me more time at each rep and then, everything will go very well!" said Mandy with full conviction. "OK Mandy. If I would not know, that I have everything under control with the cable winch, I would protest now fully. Because 44 lbs more of weight is already much more. But ok, I am also very curious!" "No prob, that will work. Do not be worried, I made me also not so nervous. It will be a big incentive for me, because then I am over 442 lbs." "Ok, there I must fully agree to you. To cross the 442 lbs border is already a big incentive. Ok then, then rest a bit!" Mandy turned then herself around and stretched a little. In the meantime, I loaded the stomach press, a further time. I took the 11 lbs plates of the outer sides and replaced them with 22 lbs plates. In the middle, I put on another 22 lbs plate. Now, in the middle laid a total of 176 lbs and per each outer side a total of 121 lbs, therefore in total 418 lbs. With the metal frame then the absolute total of 445 lbs. I had now only still four 11 lbs plates left, plus many smaller, but the big weights were completely used. The equipping of the stomach press went very speedily and so I could put myself on the training bench and watched a few minutes, how Mandy relaxed. She was sitting on the other bench and drank water. I must watched onto her stomach, the whole time. She breathed in a normal way. In the meantime, her pulse had arrived also the normal standard. But it was crazy. Also, when she breathed so slow and relaxed, it always looked, as if she would flex her stomach fully. Meanwhile, she really flexed sometimes her ABS fully, in order to wipe off the sweat in the grooves. One could see then each time very good, how the single packs formed themselves. Hard, tight outlines, symmetrically separated of each other and very deep, thick packs. I made myself also thoughts, how much weight we should put on the next time. But for that one, we first had to see, how much reps Mandy would make and how difficult these reps would be for her. Then, one can possible see, how much we can put on. Then I was interrupted, while I was thinking. "Micha, I considered a little. If we continue now, it may will be better, if you do not make the rope very loose. Press only 2 times first once?! If I should not be able to hold the weight, it does not sink in my stomach so deeply then. If I will notice then, that it will goes then without problems, you can then completely loosen the cable. This sounds good, or?!" Mandy asked me. "Yes, of course Mandy, I can do that, that sounds good for me. We have so much time, therefore we can try it more secure!" I replied to her. "Ok, then we make that, like this. I will make me ready again, to reach new limits!" Mandy laughed then. I nodded to her and she laid herself immediately down onto the cushion of the stomach press. As she had positioned herself optimally, I pressed, this time, only 2 times onto the down button. If she would relaxed now her stomach slowly, also the stomach plate would sink only one inch deep. If Mandy would kept on relaxing her stomach then, the stomach plate would virtually hang above the ABS and would hold only from the cable winch. But that was this time also better so. We were over 440 lbs, there we can made it all in a safer way. And Mandy pressed also with full strength against the plate. I noticed this, while viewing over her whole body. Particularly the neck and the face discolored themselves and everywhere thick veins protruded. She did 2 reps. But she did not relaxed her stomach fully. She only realxed the stomach so deeply, so that the stomach plate still was pressing optimally on her ABS. Because of that, she did not come either at the point, at which she would have to used unbelievable strengths. She must used those only, if her stomach was totally relaxed. She made 2 of these smaller reps, indeed with a lot of effort. Then, she meant to me: "Pull it up, please!" Immediately I made the cable winch pull up the whole frame. First, I thought, it would have been too heavy for her or she would have hurt herself, but then she said: "Micha, that worked without bigger problems, but ok, I did not relaxed my stomach completely. I have a very good feeling. I can understand, if you will not share my opinion, but please, put on 11 lbs more on the middle rod. Then I will attempt 2-3 more smaller reps, like yet before. It is now only important, that you press only 2 times again down, before I will say to you, that you can loosen the cable totally!" "Are you sure, to do this? I can judge that heavily, how much strength you just used and how much reserves you still have left. I am not your stomach. I can only say to you, that your body spoke another language. It did not look, as if that would have been easy for you. But, of course, I am also curious and want to know where your limit is. But Mandy, we have nevertheless enough time. Should we not try it with this weight again?" I asked her. I understand you, but that will work. I did not need any reserves before. Ok, that was heavy, but 11 lbs more now, will not be so decisive. Put them on the rod and then, I promise, we make everything slow and full controlled!" Therefore, I put then another 11 lbs plate on the middle and let then the frame again down. Mandy did, as before, 3 smaller reps. "OK Micha, please press again only 2 times up, so that the stomach plate still will press a bit on my stomach!" So, I did this then. "Give me now a half minute. No fear, everything is good. If I give the sign then, you press, this time then, 4 times on down. I want to try it then with more relaxation and flexing!" I saw, how Mandy, in this brief half minute, again and again, fully relaxed her stomach and pressed it then against the stomach plate. The stomach plate was completely carried by the cable winch. Nothing dangerous could happen! Then, after this time, she gave me the sign, that I should press now 4 times on down. Therefore, now the stomach plate would will sink 2 inch deep. This time, Mandy did also 3 reps. It was an enormous effort, for her, at every pressing up. I was afraid, that the veins burst now, so big became them. But what would happen next, when she did full reps, with this weight? When she had to overcome the most difficult point again? "Ok Micha, please lift up again, but only the 2 inch. I want still to feel the weight, a little. It is funny. I did not notice the 11 lbs more now, but I saw, that you put them on the rod. But it did not feel, like it were heavier!" Mandy meant then baffled to me. Meanwhile, I pulled up the weight. Before she wanted to add speaking, I felt to her into the word: "No, no Mandy, we do not increase now! You try first a full rep, or maybe more!" "Man Micha!, let me finish my talking! I do not want to increase either. I only wanted to say to you, that you, next time, can fully loosen the cable!" "Ok, sorry Mandy, but I never know, what you will plan next!" "Everything is all right. We do it, like before. I prepare myself now and give you then the sign. If I will press then fully against the stomach plate, you can directly completely loose the cable. We will see, if I can do then a complete repetition? Only the deepest point, is then, with far distance, the most difficult part, at pressing up the weight. I, then, have to be fully concentrate on this!" I nodded to her. After approx. 1 minute, she gave me the sign. All in all, 456 lbs of weight, were pressed immediately on her stomach. Because of the fact, that I laid, the whole time, next to her, I saw, as within a second, a big pressure was carried out onto her stomach. During the minute before, her body had completely regenerated itself. The discoloration was away and the veins had gone back easy. But now, all the veins nearly jumped into my face. Mandy flexed fully. She could hold the weight, better said, only her ABS could hold the weight. One must imagine this, 456 lbs, incredible. Then she relaxed slowly. I could only imagine, that the weight would now pressed much more strongly and as fast as possible, to reach the deepest point. It really looked, as if the weight wanted to be rather below, than Mandy could relaxed her stomach. Mandy could not let this weight pressed down so slowly, like she controlled this all the time before. It went down in a raging way, nearly 3 seconds were that. We had a wall clock hanged in the room, with one big second hand. From there, I could looked always, how long Mandy needed for single actions. But Mandy had now another problem. When the stomach plate was so loose, it can press down her stomach without any resistant. Only the ABS, the strength of Mandy can stop that. Since Mandys stomach can not be pushed in infinitely, she did not have any time, at the deepest point, even only for one fraction of a second, to recover. Of course, she could do that, but the press would really still pressed down her more strongly and the pressure would became then immense bigger. Ok, if that would happen and Mandy would be hurted therefore, then I had the chance, to pull up the complete frame as quickly as possible. The weight pressed her stomach hard down. Mandy was at the deepest point. I saw, how she kept on pressing against this heavy pressure and breathed hard and quickly. Then she established a big pressure. I could saw that at her skin, at the veins, that she now pumped a lot of strength into the ABS. Everything exploded ceremonially. And then, very slow, like in slow motion, she pressed up the complete weight. Crazy!! One must simply imagine, how much 456 lbs will be. This weight did not press now onto a big plate, only on an plate about 6,3 x 5,1 inch. And under this plate were 6 single wood pieces. So, that was the really impressive thing at that. How much strength must spend every single ABS segment, in order, to press up this weight. As she reached at end position, the full flex, 13 seconds went by. 13 seconds!! Now one can imagine how slow this repetition was for Mandy. The way was nearly 3 inches. So she needed around 4,3 seconds for each inch and with highest pressure on her stomach. I was now curious, if Mandy would do a further rep. She did then. Downwards, it went as in an elevator, in an again raging way, damned quickly. Nothing changed at the veins and her color of the skin now. One saw a very strong blood circulation. She had also thick veins at the stomach, which now all showed themselves in a larger way and besides more and more smaller veins appeared. Her breathing was very fast, but also very controlled. She could hardly control anymore the downward movement, the weight pressed down the stomach too quickly. But at the deepest point, she could concentrate better. Although the 2nd upward movement proceeded still more slowly, but again, she succeeded into the full flex. In the same way, she made the 3rd and 4th rep. But the 5th, was then very slowly. Ok, down, very fast. It was, like as if Mandy would let the weight falling down. She could not control the speed anymore, but she could observe the weight at the deepest point. Upwards, it went very slowly. I was considering, whether I should not take away the work from her and do simply control the cable winch. But I also saw now, that she pressed up again, very slow, inch for inch, the stomach plate. The seconds went by. 22 seconds, really exactly, 22 ultra long seconds, before she was again in the full flex. "Pull up!!" she breathed hard. I reacted immediately. "OMG Micha. Argh. Unbelievable! Wait a bit!!" Mandy breathed hard. "Kepp calm Mandy, recover, breathes in deeply in and out. Say nothing!!" I answered to her. Nearly 1 minute went by. Mandy remained on the cushion, breathed deeply in and out. Time ago, I thought, she were absolute finished. Her ABS had a few bigger pressure points now, but nothing dangerous. By the way, how much weight do we have then on the stomach press?" Mandy asked me. "With the 11 lbs separately of before and the 27,5 lbs now, plus the frame, it will be then exactly 483,5 lbs. Not for the first time on this day, I was glad, that we had done so many tests always before. Through that, we had learned, that I may press only these 7 times on down. If the cable would be now even looser, the weight would have crushed Mandys stomach. Then the situation was so, that Mandy was at the deepest point. The stomach plate laid, as always, a little oblique, but pressed with full impact on Mandys ABS. Mandy attempted to breathe quietly. In this moment, it seemed then, as if she would only concentrate on the correct breathment now. Simultaneously I also saw, how she pumped again some strength in the ABS. But, she did not do any institutions, to lift up the weight, with her ABS, or she could not more. However, she did not gave the sign either, that I should pulled up thew weight with the winch. Long 6 seconds passed by. I wondered then, whether the 6 seconds would not make yet everything worse now. Because as said, the weight could not pressed in her stomach more deeply, because the cable was flexed at the deepest point, but Mandy did also not had the chance either, to realx her stomach a bit more. In these 6 seconds a tremendous strength of 505,5 lbs pressed on her ABS. First after these 6 seconds, I saw then, how in fact Mandys ABS could resisted to this pressure extremely slowly and pressed also the weight highly up. The pressure was infernal. The sweat flowed into flow. Already after a few seconds in the upward movement, Mandy went then already slowly highly up with her shoulders and could pumped, in this way, still a little more pressure in her ABS. She also needed this pressure. But she succeeded in pressing these 505,5 lbs again so highly up, that her ABS was fully flexed. I had not looked during this rep at the clock, how long it had lasted. I had to observe Mandy in a very concentrated way. Also the upward movement was not anymore so controlled. I saw at the stomach plate, that that one was not pressed very evenly highly up, more in a trembling way. Also Mandys stomach trembled a little. But she had arrived the highest possible point. I did not say anything, only observed her. But no sign came. She stayed long in this flex. Her shoulders and head were up a bit and again and again, she pressed more and more strength in her ABS. She wanted to attempt therefore, still one more rep. Then it went on. She had established so much pressure, that she succeeded again, to relax controlled the first half to one inch. After that, the weight could continue then more strongly and break Mandys resistance. Again the same game, at the most deeply point. Mandy approved it, that the weight pressed down her stomach so hard. She let the seconds passed by, without trying to press up the weight. Again, she only attempted to find first enough concentration again and to establish now a new, strong pressure in her ABS. She also succeeded in that, but it had gone by more time, than before. Then she pressed and how strong she did that. It occurred one so, as if she would press out a baby of her stomach. She pressed and pressed against the weight. If she had done 0,1 – 0,2 inches then, she attempted 2 things simultaneously. Firstly, to hold the pressure in her ABS, but without pressing up now further. Secondly, and that just simultaneous, to pump more and more strength again in the ABS, so that she had enough pump in the ABS to press up 0,1 – 0,2 inches more. She attempted with all strength and believe me, she had already invested reserves of 10 more persons at this point, to press against the weight. But the weight pressed again hard and fast down. But the weight did not come so far. I saw, that Mandy could not stand anymore against the pressure and operated immediately the cable winch. Immediately the cable winch pulled up the weight. She had done therefore 1 ¾ reps with the 505,5 lbs. "Oh Micha, your reaction was damned good and quick! More did not go. I pumped all my reserves in the ABS, but I did not come against the weight." After what strength, you already lost during the whole practice? Of course, I support you in that, but I think, you can not build up today so much strength anymore. But it is your decision!" "Really, I would like to attempt it. If it will not work, it will not work then. You have everything under control with the cable winch, therefore, nothing dangerous can happen to me!" "Ok! While Mandy was making this break and doing breath exercises, I attempted again and again, to hit, in an middle hard way, into her ABS. But also there. If Mandy had relaxed her stomach fully and I exactly, in this moment, hit her into the stomach, nothing happened, all was only hard. A continuous hardness during the inhalation, as also exhalation, while flexing, as also at the relaxing. Incomprehensible! 16 minutes went by, when Mandy laid herself down again, for her very last attempt, at this day. While she was doing that, she said to me still shortly, that if she gave the sign, I should only press 2-times on the down button, so that the weight can not press in her stomach so deeply. After nearly a minute then, the sign came and I pressed only the 2-times onto down. But I could recognize it immediately. Mandy had so much pressure in her ABS, but the weight was too heavy. Mandy did not have any chance. It was good, that I had pressed only the 2-times. The weight pressed immediately down and Mandy could do nothing, only the smallest bit, against that. But the weight could press down the ABS only this 0,8 inch deep. Mandy did then the only correct thing. She relaxed her stomach much more and said then to me, that I should pull up the weight with the winch again, what I did then immediately. "Micha, you were right. No chance. It was even around a multiple in a more difficult way, to hold the pressure, like before with the 505,5 lbs. In the 16 minutes, I could not gather so much strength anymore! That was it then for today. Maybe I pack the 516,5 lbs then at the next time, when we once again will try this?!" "Yeah Mandy, you surely will take the weight then. It was today simple too much.
