The Tough Man Competition by M.C. A beautiful woman bodybuilder enters a 'tough man' contest to help support her cause The audience sat mesmerized as the gorgeous, muscular woman went through her routine. In a series of athletic maneuvers and poses, designed to accentuate both her powerful body as well as her physical beauty, the 24 year-old brunette dazzled the small but enthusiastic crowd who had braved the cold, wintry New York evening to attend the show. The normally jovial, corpulent manager of the show stood to the side and watched with mixed emotions. Although the sight of a beautiful woman bodybuilder performing her acrobatic routines was - in his eyes - poetry in motion, the business side of him had to face reality; there simply wasn't enough public interest in strong, muscular women to justify the time, effort and expense he was expending to promote women bodybuilders. In less there was a dramatic change of fortune, this "New York Muscle Club" (NYMC) show would probably be the last. After the last performer completed her routine, one of the members of the audience approached the manager."That was another wonderful show Mr. Bomber ( the manager's nickname, although nobody was really quite sure exactly why) I just can't wait until the next show." "In that case I have some rather bad news for you. In less some miracle occurs, I'm afraid there isn't going to be a *next* show. In all likelihood you've just witnessed the final performance of the NYMC." Upon hearing this, the beautiful brunette inquired as to why. "I just can't keep throwing money into a losing venture Judy," Bomber replied, making no attempt to hide his disappointment,"I simply can't afford it. If we can't get more than 40 or 50 people to come to our shows from the entire New York metropolitan area, then there's no point in continuing; I'm not Bill Gates you know." The muscular woman thought it over for a minute, then said," what we need to do is find a way to publicize the NYMC. I'll bet there are a lot more people out there that would attend, if only they knew about it. We've got to find a way of bringing the NYMC to their attention." "Easier said than done Judy. I've circulated flyers in local gyms, put messages up on internet websites and hoped word of mouth from previous shows would spread the interest. As you can see, the response has been luke warm so far. I can't afford full page ads in the New York Times you know; or even The Village Voice. So, if you can think of any other way to bring the NYMC to the attention of the public, I'm willing to listen." Judy pondered this for another minute and, as she did so, a smile began to spread across her beautiful face. "I think I know of a way to make people aware of your show, Mr. Bomber." "How?" he asked, hoping against hope that he may somehow be able to salvage this pet project of his. Although he didn't actually start the NYMC, Mr. Bomber assumed all the responsibilities - as well as the expense - of running the show when the originator, his  former partner and fellow photographer, left the Big Apple for the warmer climate of Florida. "That's my little secret," Judy replied with a cryptic smile."But if my plan works, and I think it will, you'll probably have to rent a larger theater for your next show. We'll be in touch." The powerful woman smiled at the perplexed manager then playfully pinched him on the cheek before turning towards the exit. As he watched the muscular woman leave the theater Mr. Bomber could only hope for the best...but feared the worst. Three nights later... Knock, Knock! "Are you 'Killer Sam', the challenger for Tony the Shark's title in tonight's 'tough man' competition?" the beautiful woman asked the large, powerfully built man who answered the door. "Why yes I am you cute little thing you," he answered condescendingly in his deep baritone voice," and what can I do for you, sweetie pie?" "I'll explain to you in private. May I come inside?" There was a smug smile on the man's face. "But of course, honey." Must be one of the perks of this job, he thought to himself as he closed - and locked - the door behind her after she entered. Judy removed her sweatshirt, revealing her surprisingly muscular arms. She was wearing a tank top with the words 'New York Muscle Club' printed on it. "Mr. Sam, I regret to inform you that there's been a slight change in the schedule for this evening, you won't be fighting Tony the Shark tonight...I will." "Is that so sweetheart? And just how are you going to arrange that?" The five foot-six inch, 165 pound woman walked up to the arrogant man who stood almost a foot taller than she did and outweighed her by nearly one hundred pounds and calmly said,"like this..." Fifteen minutes later the door to the dressing room opened and Judy walked out. "Pleasant dreams Sam," she giggled as she closed the door behind her. Judy then entered the main arena and began making her way down to the large ring in the center. "Ladies and Gentlemen," the announcer and Master of Ceremonies shouted out to the capacity crowd," are you ready for tonight's main attraction? " After the roar subsided he continued," tonight, right before your very eyes, we have the world champion 'toughman' contest, featuring the undefeated title holder, the fearless and mighty Tony the Shark - a huge man climbed into the ring and raised his powerful arms up above his head to a loud chorus of cheers - against his challenger, the dreaded 'Killer Sam' !" To the surprise of everyone there however, instead of a large, powerful man it was a beautiful woman who now entered the ring. She walked over to the announcer and grabbed his microphone. "Sam couldn't make it here tonight," she said and added with a laugh," I'm afraid he's a bit *tied up* at the moment. So I'll be fighting in his place; that is if Tony's brave enough to face me." A deathly silence fell upon the crowd when they heard this. This woman was going to battle Tony the Shark - the undefeated tough-man champion? How in the world did this 165 pound woman hope to defeat her six foot-four inch 350 pound opponent? It was a farce. Tony didn't know what to make of it. "I ain't fighting no broad," he said. "What's the matter, tough guy? Afraid I'll kick your ass?" Judy teased. As she stood before him with a smile on her beautiful face Judy flexed her muscles, proudly showing off her biceps. "Is the big, tough macho man afraid of these? Maybe you should go home to your mommy then so the little girl won't hurt you." She knew she was baiting him but, in a strange sort of way, Judy was actually getting turned on by what she was doing and she was actually looking forward to the fight. Furious at her taunting, Tony the Shark blurted out,"O.K. then you bitch, if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you're gonna get. Let's get it on!" As the crowd watched in amazement, the beautiful 165 pound brunette prepared to square off against the awesome 350 pound man in what could only be described as the mismatch of the century. Though reluctant, the M.C. felt he now had no choice but to continue and let the chips fall where they may. The fighters wanted it, the crowd wanted it; so a fight there would be,( the truth of the matter is that M.C was actually a closet schmoe and secretly admired strong, powerful women ). "Very well then," he shouted into his microphone,"let the battle of the sexes commence and may the best man...err person, win!"  A loud 'CLANG'  was heard and both the large, powerful man and the sexy, muscular woman emerged from their corners; determined to battle it out. Thinking to end the fight quickly, Tony threw a wild right hook at his smaller opponent. Judy easily ducked under it and slammed her right fist into his unprotected stomach. The force of her punch surprised him and he stepped back. Before he knew it she landed another blow, this time a left jab squarely to his nose and followed that up with a solid right cross to his jaw. When Tony missed with another errant punch, Judy quickly countered again with a series of lightning fast left jabs to his face and then a right cross which left the champion momentarily stunned. As this was a Tough Man competition the fighters didn't wear gloves, they just used their bare fists; and Judy's fists were as hard as rock. Through her many years of weightlifting and intensive martial arts training the beautiful 24 year old bodybuilder was also a lethal fighting machine when she had to be; something that Tony the Shark was now beginning to find out. He threw several more blows - hard blows that would have floored many a man - but his elusive opponent easily avoided them; then landed several of her own. Amazingly, after only two minutes into the fight, the smaller female had opened a cut above Tony's eye and there was some blood coming out of his nose. Judy, on the other hand, hadn't been hit once. "Oh come on tough guy,"she began to tease,"I expected a much better workout than this from a big, strong man like you." He charged forward in a rage, throwing punches left and right, but Judy's superior quickness, compared to her lumbering opponent, kept her safely out of range. As his attack waned, she countered again with several more solid punches. The bell to end the first round rang out, leaving the mighty champion stunned and confused. "Ta ta big boy," Judy giggled," see you in a minute." Instead of using the minute to rest, the gorgeous woman bodybuilder flexed her muscles for the crowd. They responded with loud cheers."If strong, muscular women interest you then I suggest you check out the New York Muscle Club for their show schedules," Judy said in a loud voice as she posed inside the ring."It's a chance to see women bodybuilders up close and personal." She was still posing when the bell to begin the second round sounded. Furious at having so easily dominated in the first round, Tony the Shark stormed out at the start of the second; determined to make short work of this female upstart. Throwing powerful punches that had flattened over a score of opponents in his fighting career, he wailed away at the five foot-six inch beauty. It was thought that no man could stand up to the assault of this massive 350 pound brawler. No man perhaps...but a woman could. With catlike quickness the agile female bodybuilder easily dodged Tony's punches; most of which were wild haymakers, poorly thrown in which she had plenty of warning. For the first half of the round, Judy seemed content to just let him flail away. A superb, well conditioned athlete, she knew she could count on her endurance to outlast him. After about a minute and a half Tony's attack began to lose it's steam. This was Judy's  signal to launch a counterattack. In a marvelous display of  her boxing ability, the smaller, lighter but much faster woman began to land her rock-hard fists at an astonishing rate; driving the larger man back into the ropes as the crowd watched in amazement. She must have hit him nearly fifty times before the bell ending the second round sounded. As Tony staggered back to his corner, his beautiful opponent blew him a kiss and then resumed her flexing routine. "Come and support the cause of women's bodybuilding," Judy said as she displayed her 18 inch biceps for the adoring audience," come out to the New York Muscle Club." Wary at first, the capacity crowd was now completely won over by this magnificent woman who seemed to be handling the mighty Tony the Shark as easily as if he was Tony the gold fish; a fact that wasn't lost on him. As he sat on his stool and watched through his now swollen eyes, the woman who was pounding him at will, Tony decided a change of strategy was necessary. As this was a 'tough man's' competition, and just almost everything was within the rules, he would make full use of the nearly 200 pound advantage he had over her. Since she was, he had to admit, a much better boxer than he, Tony decided he would wrestle her. Surely, he reasoned, a 165 pound woman - even  one as quick, and muscular as Judy was - could not stand a chance against a powerful 350 pound man. Tony smiled to himself as the bell to begin the third round rang. In this round he was certain he'd get hit revenge...and it would be sweet indeed. Round three. As this was an unofficial contest the winner would be the last one standing. For the first two rounds the beautiful woman had battered the larger, slower man around with her fists. Now, as he approached her with his arms wide apart, Judy realized he'd change his tactics. What should she do? As Tony slowly backed her into a corner, an evil smile appeared on his face."This is it," he though to himself,"I've got you now you bitch." Suddenly, Judy surged forward and wrapped her muscular arms around his waist (she  could barely reach around him). The huge man was taken by surprise by this maneuver but he still felt he had the advantage; after all he did outweigh her by close to 200 pounds and he was far stronger than she was, wasn't he? He wrapped his powerful arms around her and the two of them engaged in a bear hug near the center of the ring while the ecstatic spectators screamed wildly. As their titanic test of strength continued a strange thing appeared to be happening. Tony the Shark seemed to be struggling with all his might while Judy appeared to be...smiling? Could it possibly be? Could the 165 pound woman bodybuilder actually be stronger than the 350 pound tough man? "Gee, you're so cuddly," Judy giggled," they should call you Tony the teddy bear; tee, hee, hee." The crowd stared in stunned silence at the scene unfolding before them. Here was this beautiful muscle woman physically overpowering the dreaded champion tough man in a test of strength. Tony's face began to turn red. In desperation, he began to beat on Judy's back with his fists; but she hardly seemed to feel it. Finally, his huge arms slumped down at his sides. Tony the Shark was snared; ignominiously beaten by the much smaller - but more powerful - woman. But Judy wasn't quite finished with him yet; it was time for the 'tour de force'. Releasing her hold on the now helpless man, she bent down and placed her powerful right arm in between the slumping man's legs; she wrapped her left around his neck. Then, in a tremendous display of her strength, Judy lifted the 350 pound man up on her shoulders. "Well good people," she said to the audience,"I hope you enjoyed the show. And now it's time for my 'grand finale'. The amazing woman then began to twirl around, supporting the massive man on her shoulders. Faster and faster she spun until they were just a blur to the people watching. After about 30 seconds Judy stopped and stood at the center of the ring; still easily holding Tony's weight. Humiliated beyond belief, Tony the Shark broke down and began to weep. Gently, Judy lowered him to the floor. She placed him on his back and put her right foot on his chest. Triumphantly, the victorious woman bodybuilder flexed her muscles again and the crowd cheered ecstatically...it was a sight few of them would ever forget. Looking down at her battered, beaten and humiliated opponent, Judy smiled. "I sure enjoyed this little tussle of ours Mr. Shark. Perhaps we can do it again sometime." Then, turning towards the crowd of rapturous spectators, Judy said,"remember, if you'd like to see more examples of strong, powerful women, please check out the New York City Muscle Club; we'd love to see you there." With that, the mighty, gorgeous woman left the arena; leaving the notion of male superiority in her wake. Much later that night a custodian who was cleaning up after the evening's event opened one of the dressing room doors...and his mouth dropped. For there, lying helplessly before him -  bound and gagged on the floor - was a large, powerfully built and badly beaten up man. His  hands were tied behind him with a woman's brassiere and he had a woman's panties stuffed in his mouth. After releasing him from his bondage, the custodian asked him what happened, and got no reply. When he asked the man if he'd heard about the beautiful woman who had totally demolished Tony the Shark that evening, the man just got dressed and walked out of the room; without saying a word."Strange," the custodian thought to himself," very strange." One week later... Bomber smiled as the standing-room-only crowd filed in to the large theater. The unexpected surge of interest in the New York Muscle Club forced him to find a bigger venue for his event but it seemed as if even this one would not be sufficient. Next time he'd have to find an even larger theater. It was, however, a problem he could easily live with. In fact, he could now even to afford to hand out complimentary tickets to out-of-town photographers (some who came from as far away as Virginia, Florida and even Ventura County in California to attend the show).  "Gee Mr. Bomber, things sure seem to have turned around for the NYMC, haven't they?" The beautiful FBB remarked. "They certainly have Judy," he grinned. "It's amazing what that little ad in the Village Voice accomplished." Judy smiled at him...but said nothing. "Well, if you'll excuse me, I have to get dressed for my routine." "No problem Judy. By-the-way, at the last show, you mentioned that you had an idea as to how we might increase attendance at the NYMC...what was it?" The beautiful, muscular woman smiled again and playfully pinched his cheek. "Oh, it wasn't anything serious Mr.Bomber...nothing at all." As she walked away, Bomber couldn't help but notice the strange look she had on her face. Author's note: This was, of course, a work of fiction - *pure* fiction - with one exception... There is such a thing as the New York Muscle Club. It was created and is run by members of this website. For those of you who find (and I assume people who are reading this story do) powerfully built, muscular women to their liking, the New York Muscle Club - NYMC - offers you an opportunity to watch and meet women bodybuilders in an intimidate setting. For those of you living in the greater New York Metropolitan area - and are interested in attending such an event -   I suggest you check out the New York Muscle Club message board on this site for information about shows - there's one scheduled for this Friday, March 19th. One more thing: there were several "in-jokes" in this story; jokes that only regular visitors to the chatroom here would understand. They don't detract from the story however...at least I hope not.
