Feminine Persuasion by M.C. Strong, tough high school girl always gets her way Every so often Mother Nature goes out of her way and endows some of her creations with more than the normal amount of natural abilities. Either they can be extremely intelligent, Newton and Einstein come to mind,  talented, like Da Vinci and Mozart, or a very skilled athlete a la Michael Jordan. There doesn't seem to be any explanation for why certain people have been so gifted, it just happens from time to time. Such was the case with Jane - she prefers to be called Janie - Morgan. For some unknown reason, nature made her strong...extremely strong. Though not really very muscular, and somewhat small for her age, she nevertheless possessed the physical strength of the strongest of men. It couldn't be explained...it just was. Schoolyard bullies soon learned to stay away from her. Those that didn't, regretted it. When she was only eight years old - in the third grade - she beat up the three toughest boys in her school, and sent them home crying. Janie soon began to realize what her unique 'gift' could do for her, how it could intimidate other people once they knew what she was capable of doing to them. Though not a mean or nasty person by nature - she rarely abused her strength - she did always seem to get her way; even her parents tried not to cross her. Because her father's job forced them to moved around a lot, Janie never managed to have many friends. As she grew older, and her interest in the opposite sex increased, Janie found that her strength became a double - edged sword. On the one hand, if she wanted a date, she could just tell a boy he was going to take her out - and beat him up if he refused; she referred to this as her 'feminine persuasion'. But, on  the other hand, it didn't make her too popular with the boys - for obvious reasons -  and she  could never be was sure if a  boy actually liked her or was just scared of getting his ass kicked in.  This was the plight she was in as she moved - yet again - to a new city, only two weeks before the school year was about to begin. One of the first things Janie noticed about her new surroundings was the boy across the street. Now 16 years old, Janie was more in need of companionship then ever before. He appeared to be about the same age as she, perhaps a year older. By asking around, she found out that his name was Richard, he was indeed 17 years old, kind of shy and, so far as anyone knew, didn't seem to have a steady girlfriend. He was also the light - heavyweight wrestler on  the high school wrestling team. Never one to be shy herself - Janie was a firm believer in taking the bull by the horns - she took the first opportunity she had to go over and introduce herself. " Hello there," she said with an air of confidence when Richard answered the door," may I come in ? "  Without even waiting for him to answer, Janie pushed her way past him and entered his house. Taken aback by her straightforwardness, Richard appeared somewhat perturbed. Janie either didn't seem to notice, or care, if she did.  " So you're Richard, my name is Janie, your new neighbor ". She held out her hand which he reluctantly shook ( though he was amazed at the strength of her grip, he tried not to show it ). " Tell me about yourself, Ritchie." Richard cringed when she called him that, he hated the name Ritchie. That's what the kids used to call him when they teased him many years ago; which is why be took up wrestling in the first place. " First of all, I don't like to be called that," he began. " And second, what makes you think you can just barge in here and ask personal questions? " Janie looked up at him.  He stood nearly six feet tall and weighed around 180 pounds; compared to her five feet five inch, 120 pound frame. " Are your parents or anyone else around, RITCHIE ? " she asked him, emphasizing  the name this time. " NO ", he answered angrily, " we're alone." " Good ", she smiled, " because I guess it's time to use some of my 'feminine persuasion' with you." " That 'girl stuff' won't work with me," Richard answered. Although he had to admit, she was very pretty, Richard felt threatened by her forward style. " Oh, I think it will, Ritchie...it's never failed me before. I hear you're a wrestler, let's see just how good you are, shall we ? " Before Richard could register his surprise at being challenged by the much smaller girl, Janie grabbed him and easily threw him down on the floor. " Well, that wasn't too difficult was it," she giggled. Richard stormed to his feet. " You caught me off guard, that's all," he yelled," try it now that I'm ready." The two of them squared off against each other. Richard attacked this time by wrapping his arms around her. He tried to throw her down like she threw him but - much to his surprise - he couldn't budge her. He tried again but Janie wouldn't move. " Well Ritchie, are you ready now ? ", she laughed. He grunted as he put all of his strength into trying to push her down, but his efforts were in vain. Janie then wrapped her arms around him and began to squeeze. " Gee Ritchie, I was hoping you and I would hit it off - you're awfully cute you know - but I never expected us to be hugging so soon; you ladies man you." Richard was finding it very difficult to breath now as Janie's vice-like grip began to deprive him of air. " Don't I just take your breath away, tee, hee, hee." Slowly, Richard's resistance weakened, his arms dropped to his sides. When he seemed about to lose consciousness, Janie opened hers and gently lowered him to the floor. As he lay there, gasping for air, Janie stood over him smiling, with her hands on her hips." I'm rather disappointed in you, Ritchie, I would have expected a varsity wrestler to have given me a much tougher fight. Now, will you tell me about yourself ? " Richard was somewhat in shock, having been so easily overpowered by this much smaller girl. Perhaps it was his wounded pride that wouldn't let him admit defeat. Defiantly he shook his head," No " he said. Janie just shrugged her shoulders," very well then, have it your way. It looks like you need some more 'feminine persuasion'." She bent down and grabbed his feet. Effortlessly she dragged him into his bedroom and tossed him onto his bed. The next thing he knew, Janie leaped on top of him, straddled his waist with her legs, grabbed him by the wrists and pinned him. Richard struggled with his remaining strength to free himself but it was no use, he couldn't budge her. " Well Ritchie, still don't want to talk to me, handsome ? " Richard shook his head. " O.K. then tough guy, you deserve this." Janie had her long, pretty hair tied in braids. She leaned over letting her braids fall down to the bed, one on each side of Richard's face. She smiled at him and then began to turn her head rapidly from side to side, striking him with her hair. Helplessly lying on his back, Richard could do nothing to defend himself.  Back and forth, back and forth she turned her head, hitting him relentlessly. Soon welts were beginning to appear on the sides of his face. " Gee Ritchie, what will all the kids in school say when they find out their rough, tough wrestler was beaten up by a girl's hair, tee, hee, hee." Exhausted, beaten and totally humiliated - on the verge of crying - Richard begged her to stop. " I'll stop hitting you on one condition," Janie said," that you agree to become my boyfriend." Swallowing what was left of his pride, Richard submitted. " O.K. you win." Giggling girlishly down at him Janie agreed," I always do Ritchie, I always do." After relishing her victory for a few more moments she softly said," Ritchie, you've made me so happy today...you won't regret this." She bent over, put her arms around him and gave him a long, passionate kiss on the mouth. So much so, that he nearly passed out again. " Ooops, sorry about that. I'll have to remember to be gentle with you from now on," she laughed. It took Richard a few days to get over what Janie did to him, how easily she dominated him. Slowly but surely, however, she won him over. Once they became friends, she showed him her 'soft' side. Her sense of humor, her personality, the air of confidence that pervaded everything she said and did. He loved being with her and she with him. They became inseparable. When the school year began, Janie realized that they would be separated while he was practicing on the wrestling team. Janie considered that for awhile and came up with what she thought was a solution. One day on the first week of school, while they were sitting together, Janie said, " Ritchie I have great idea, why don't I join you on the wrestling team?  You told me there was an opening in the heavyweight division and, as you remember ( she winked at him) I'm a pretty good wrestler." Richard looked at her, stunned. "Janie, I don't think that's such a good idea. Our coach - Mr. Stevens - is one of these old-fashioned, macho tough guys; he'd never agree to having a girl on the team."  Janie considered this for a minute and then responded," well then, maybe he'll agree after I use some of my...feminine persuasion." Now Richard was really shocked. " Janie, you can't go through life just beating up everybody that stands in you way."  When she heard this Janie began to laugh. " Oh Ritchie, don't be silly, why of course I can." Then her voice became somewhat more serious," perhaps I need to teach you another lesson." Richard began to shake when he heard her say that. Noticing this, she began to laugh again," Ritchie, Ritchie, Ritchie; you're soooo cute, especially when you're scared." She made a fist and playfully tapped him on the jaw. " I'd never hurt you again, after all you're my boyfriend. But I do think you need to learn just what your little girlfriend can do." She rose to her feet and took him by the hand. " Where are we going ? " he asked. Janie just smiled, " you'll see." She led him to the boy's weight room where she knew the football team would be working out. " Whenever I start a new school, one of the first things I do is find out who the toughest boy in school is...and then beat him up. That way, I won't have any problems with anybody else; it saves me a lot of time. Now Ritchie tell me, who among these big, strong macho guys is the toughest in the school ? " Richard looked around and nodded towards two very large boys lifting weights in the corner. It's probably one of them, either Ed or George." Janie looked them over. Both were at least 6' 3" tall and probably weighed over 250 pounds. After a moment, Janie shrugged her shoulders, giggled and said," very well then, since they look about the same, I guess I'll fight them both." Richard was now flabbergasted. "Janie, I know you think you're tough but how do you expect to beat one of these monsters and then take on another ? " Janie comely took Richard over to a nearby bench and sat him down. She then took out a rubber band from her shirt pocket and began  to tie her pretty hair back into a ponytail. " Silly boy," she said," that's not how I plan to do it. I'm going to fight them both at the same time." Before Richard had time to say even one more word, Janie put her index finger against his lips. " Now honey, you be a good boy and just sit here and watch your little girlfriend, O.K. ? " She kissed him on the cheek and then began walking towards the  two huge football players. Janie placed herself in between them and said in a voice loud enough for everyone to hear," I've heard that you guys are the toughest boys in this school. You don't look so tough to me. Why don't we fight and see who's the school champ." George and Ed looked at each other and began to laugh, as did practically everyone else in the weight room. Indeed it was a rather strange sight -  one five foot five inch, 120 pound girl, standing in between two giant football players and challenging them both to a fight. " Well, how about it boys? You're not afraid of little old me are you ? Two big, strong, rough, tough macho football players afraid of a little girl ? " Her teasing was beginning to anger them. " Very well, girlie," Ed said, " if it's fight you want, then you'll have your wish. Who do you want to fight first ? " Janie smiled," why complicate things?, I'll take you both on at the same time." With that, Janie bent down and sprung up high in the air; she must have jumped over four feet straight up. She then shot her legs out to the sides, striking both of the surprised boys squarely in the chest. Stunned by the force of her kicks, both fell backwards. When Janie landed she quickly moved against Ed, who was closest. With a series of lightning fast punches to his face and stomach, she drove the larger boy back. Then she turned around and attacked George in the same manner. Her small but powerful fists, backed by her strength, could inflict a great deal on damage; as Ed and George were finding out. With a smile on her pretty face, Janie methodically worked over one and then the other; occasionally she even found time to wink over at Richard too. The entire weight room stood in stunned silence as they watched this little girl, easily batter the two strongest boys in the school around the room. At no point did they even threaten her, so fast did she move. " Oh come on you guys, surely you can give me a better workout than this," she teased. But apparently not for, try as they might, they couldn't escape her relentless pounding. As she backed them both into a corner, Janie's fists flew at a dizzying pace. Both Ed and George were now bleeding from the nose and mouth. They had the makings of black eyes and an assortment of welts and bruises all over their bodies. The two powerful boys - who between them weighed over 500 pounds - were being reduced to pulp by a mere 120 pound girl. " This is just too easy," she laughed. Finally, after simultaneously driving her fists deep into each of their stomachs - forcing them to keel over - Janie turned around and wrapped her small, but powerful arms around each of their necks. With all of their strength, they tried to pry themselves free from her head locks, but to no avail...she was simply too strong for them. In desperation, they began to pound on her back with their fists. " THUD, THUD, THUD." But Janie hardly seemed to notice. She smiled again over at Richard, who sat there - mouth wide open - in disbelief. Ed and George's faces became very red and their arms fell loosely down. Janie dragged them out to the center of the weight room and gently lowered the unconscious boys to the floor. She laid Ed on top of George and placed her right foot on Ed's chest. Then, like a female Tarzan, she began beating on her chest with her fists while giving out a loud war cry ( her traditional victory celebration, she would later explain to Richard ). Janie then put her hands on her hips and stared at the other football players in the room. " All right boys, don't be shy now...who wants to be next ? "  Needless to say, there were no volunteers. Looking down at the battered boys Janie giggled," well, at least we now know who the toughest kid in school is." Janie stepped down and comely walked  over to Richard. " How about a kiss for the new champion, Ritchie ? " After a long embrace, Janie took him by the hand," come honey, let's go...there's one more thing I have to do today." He followed her out of the weight room but was too stunned to speak. After a few minutes of silence, she turned to him and said," well Ritchie, I hope you learned your lesson. Now I think it's about time I had a little chat with this wrestling coach of yours." It was 3:30 in the afternoon and the wrestlers looked nervously at each other as they went through their warm - up exercises. Richard looked especially concerned but didn't know what to do. Janie had been in coach Stevens' office for nearly a half an hour now and he had no idea what was going on inside. He knew the tough, ex-Marine and former boxer would be opposed to her participating on the wrestling squad, but he also knew how determined Janie was to be on it. The tension was almost unbearable. Finally the door opened and the wrestler's eyes popped out of their heads...it was a sight they would remember for a long time to come. Janie, dressed in a pair of sexy pink leotards that she planned to wrestle in, with a smile on her pretty face, stepped out of the office carrying the crying coach Stevens over her shoulder. He appeared to be rather badly beaten as she carried him past the wrestlers, winking at Richard as she walked by. She opened the door leading to the outside of the wrestlers' training room and unceremoniously tossed him out, then she closed the door. " Well fellas, " she began, " it seems as if your coach and I got into a little 'disagreement' as to whether there should be a girl on the team.  To make a long story short, he won't be your coach anymore... I will. I'll also be the heavyweight wrestler. Now, does anybody here have a problem with that ? "  Nobody spoke a word. Janie walked over to Richard and giggled, " see what a girl can accomplish with a little 'feminine persuasion' ? " Then, turning to the rest of the team she said, " Very well boys, this is how I want things to be done from now on... " That year the wrestling team did not lose a single match. With Janie leading the way, they were invincible and easily won the state high school wrestling championship.
