The incident at the ice cream parlor

Judy finally gets Steve's attention


Steve wiped the sweat from his forehead, it sure was hot. " Probably well over
100 degrees ", he thought to himself. As the 17 year - old high school student
slowly made his way home all he could think about was "thank God it's Friday
". He turned the corner and saw something that made him smile, a sign that
said "Joe's Ice CreamParlor ". Steve fiddled in his pocket and came up with
enough change to buy one ice cream cone. He entered the shop and looked
around.

There were the usual groups of people. Off to the left were the jocks, circled
around Rex Morgan, the star football player. Near them sat the sexy
cheerleaders; how much Steve wished he could sit with them. But he knew it was
a stupid thought as, not being a jock, they 'd have nothing to do with him.
Way over on the other side of the shop sat younger kids, from the middle
school. One of them smiled and waved at him. He recognised her, Judy who lived
down the street from him. Several years before, when he was trying to earn
some pocket money, he agreed to babysit Judy, who was around twelve at the
time. He had only done it a few times before getting a 'real' job at the local
McDonald's. He would see her occasionally and she'd always smile and say
"hello Steve". But being two years older, and in high school, he never paid
any attention to her. He simply smiled back and got in line.

When he got to the front he ordered his ice cream. After he got it he turned
around to leave and "Wham" walked right into Rex Morgan who was standing

behind him; smearing his ice cream all over Rex's shirt. " What the hell are
you doing you stupid kid ", Rex screamed at him. " Are you retarded? " "I -I'm
so sorry, I didn't see you Rex ", Steve said meekly. The six foot four inch
220 pound football star glared down at the much smaller, and pertrified Steve
and growled," you embarrassed me in front of my friends you little twerp, and
now you're going to pay for it ". Rex grabbed Steve roughly by the collar of
his shirt and pinned him against the wall. As he cocked his fist back and
prepared to pound the helpless Steve he heard a voice behind him say, " I
wouldn 't do that if I were you "...it was Judy.

She had watched what had happened and when Rex threatened to flatten Steve
into a pancake, she decided to intervene...all five foot two and 110 pounds of
her. "I saw it all, it was just an accident, let him go...NOW ! ". Rex turned
around and stared down at the fifteen year old girl that was challenging him
in front of all his friends, not to mention the cheerleaders. " And what if I
don't ", he said arrogently; "what are you going to do about it, little girl ?
" To the surprise of everybody in the ice cream shop, Judy simply smiled and
said," then I guess I'm going to have to teach you a lesson you big bully ".
Without saying another word, Judy whorled around and landed a roundhouse kick
to the side of Rex's face. Stunned, he let Steve go. Judy quickly grabbed
Steve by the arm and took him aside." You stay here where you'll be safe ",
she told him. "I'll handle this ". She winked at Steve and then comely turned
around to face the toughest boy in Madison High who was now as mad as hell.

"Why you little bitch, I'll smash you for that ", he yelled. Judy just smiled
up at him and said," my my, such language, you really do need to learn some
manners, it 's a good thing I happened along ". Over at the side table the
cheerleaders yelled out, " come on Rex, smash the little creep ". Rex charged
the much smaller girl expecting her to try to run away. But Judy charged him
instead and landed another hard kick to his head. She followed it up with
several lightning fast punches to his stomach driving the surprised boy back.
" Come on Rexy, surely you can do better than that. After all, I'm just a
'little girl', tee hee hee ". Furious now, Rex screamed as he threw himself at
her. Judy grabbed his arm and, with perfect form, executed a judo flip sending
Rex crashing into the cheerleader 's table. " Oh dear me, I'm soooo sorry
about that girls ", Judy laughed. Rex got up slowly this time but exploded
with rage," I'll KILL YOU ", he screamed. " Very well then, tough guy, let's
get it on ", Judy replied laughing.

They met in the center of the ice cream parlor - 220 pound football star
against 110 pound Jr. high school girl - and battled it out. Rex threw punches
left and right, but Judy simply blocked or avoided them, the smile never left
her face. At one point she looked across the room at Steve and winked. After a
few minutes of fighting on the defensive Judy looked up at Rex and said," O.K.
big boy, you've had your fun, now it's my turn ". She began to punch him back
with a speed and accuracy that he was unable to stop. Ten years of martial
arts training had turned a 110 pound girl into a finely tuned fighting
machine, capable of easily destroying one - or several - large boys without
much difficultly. As the battle turned against Rex, one of his football
buddies tried to grab Judy from behind. Judy simply gave him a sharp elbow
into the pit of his stomach and followed it up with a hard backhand punch to
the nose. The boy collapsed in a heap.Judy then continued her relentless
attack on Rex who was now almost helpless to defend himself. " What's the
matter Rexy, is the 'little girl ' too tough for you ? tee hee hee ".

Judy had backed Rex into a corner now and was pounding him at will. His nose
was bleeding, his eyes were closing. He was battered and beaten. As he stood
helplessly against the wall, Judy paused for a moment. She walked over to a
nearby table and picked up a chair. She placed the chair in front of Rex and
stood up on it; even so she still had to look up a bit. Judy grabbed Rex by
his shirt collar and smiled," now Rexy, it 's time for your lesson in manners
". She began to slap the helpless boy back and forth across the face and, as
she did so, lectured him about the proper way to treat people and why you
shouldn't use 'naughty ' words. Beaten and humiliated, his pride destroyed,
Rex broke down and began to cry. " Please stop hitting me ", he sobbed. For
good measure, Judy slapped him around a few more times. " Are you going to be
a good boy and treat people nicely from now on ", she asked him. " Yes ", he
sobbed. Judy smiled and patted him on the head, " that's a good boy ".Still
holding him by his collar she jumped off the chair and marched him over to
where Steve stood. " Now Rexy, I want you to apologise to Steve for the way
you behaved towards him ". With tears in his eyes Rex meekly said, " I - I
-I'm s-s-sorry Steve ". Judy winked again at Steve then turned to Rex. She
squeezed his collar so tight now that he could hardly breathe and said in a
stern voice," now Rexy, I hope you learned your lesson today. If I ever hear
of you or any of your friends picking on Steve again then I'm going to give
you all a beating that will make this one look like massage, do you
understand? " She loosened her grip just enough for him to sqeak out a muffled
"yes". Judy then dragged the humiliated football star over to where the
stunned cheerleaders stood. She tossed him at their feet and in her cutest
voice said," boy you high school girls sure like whimps, tee hee hee ". Judy
then returned to Steve and took him by the arm. "Come on Steve and walk me
home ". Together, they left the ice cream parlor.

It was several minutes before Steve managed to say anything; he was trying to
come to terms with what he'd just witnessed. The little girl that he babysat a
few years ago had just beaten up the toughest boy in his school, without even
working up a sweat. At length, he said," Judy, you were absolutely amazing in
there, how could you do that ? " Judy giggled," Oh, I've had a few karate
lessons, I work out with weights. I'm also on the gymnastics team ". For the
first time Steve looked at Judy and felt something. When they got to her house
she looked at him and said," well Steve, we haven't discussed the matter of my
fee ". Steve's heart dropped. "Y-y-your fee ? "he asked. " Of course, you
don't think I beat up the toughest boy in your school just for the fun of it
do you ?" Steve felt like a complete idiot now " how much do I owe you ? " To
his surprise, Judy broke out in laughter. " Well let's see, since this is the
first time I've had to save your sorry ass, I'm going to let you off easy. How
about picking me up around six this evening and taking me out to dinner. Then
a movie, I can't get enough of Tomb Raider ". Steve looked perplexed. " You
mean I don't have to give you any money ?" Judy giggled. "Silly boy, I've had
a crush on you since I was twelve years old. There's no way I was going to let
that bully hurt you. Be here at six ? " Steve smiled, "six it is then ". Judy
put her arms around Steve's neck and gave him a long passionate kiss. Steve
watched her walk into her house, then slowly began moving towards his. He
didn't even notice that it was hot.
