Helen, My Invincible Girlfriend By M.C What it’s like to live with an invincible female warrior with Goddess like Power Note: This story combines my love for powerful, fantasy superwomen with the fetish I have for a woman's long, beautiful hair. If that's not your thing, you've been warned. It takes place in an unnamed ancient Greek city-state sometime around the year 600 B.C.E. (before the common era). 1) Helen, a truly amazing woman As I sat in our bed behind my incredibly strong girlfriend Helen and brushed her long, beautiful dark hair (my favorite morning activity) there was a knock on our door; it was the Captain of the King's guard. "I'm afraid that I have some very disturbing news to bring to you Helen," he said in a dour tone of voice. "We've just received a report from our scouts that there's a large army approaching our city from Thebes and it appears that they're out to conquer us. As you very well know, ever since you took over the responsibility of being the defender of our city and forced us to disband our army, except for the King's personal guard we have no force other than you to defend us. We all know how amazingly strong you are Helen, but how can even you, one single woman, defend our city against an invading army of thousands of tough and well-trained men?" Helen rose from our bed and in order to calm the worried captain smiled down at him (Helen stood six and a half feet tall - 1.98 meters - and literally towered over the six foot tall captain) and said in a strong, confident tone of voice, "Captain, when I swore to the King and all of the citizens of your city that I would protect and defend it against all who would do us harm, that's exactly what I meant. That's why I insisted that your army be disbanded. As long as I'm your protector, no one will ever have to risk their lives for our defense; that's now my job." Helen paused for a few moments to let the captain absorb what she had just said, then she continued. "As you well know Captain, we are a small city-state which is surrounded by much larger and more powerful ones. It's very doubtful that even if you had an army at your command, you would be able to prevail against our much stronger neighbors like Thebes, Athens or Sparta, which can send much larger armies against us. And that is why I assumed the responsibility for our defense. First of all, because I was born and raised here and this is my home. And second, because I can (Helen then flexed her massive twenty inch biceps to emphasize her point). Captain, you have absolutely no idea of what I can do with these arms and the awesome power that I possess. But I guarantee you this: after I've finish dealing with this invading army, you'll all know what I'm capable of and then you'll understand why you're all safe." "So Captain, you can go back to the King now and tell him that as long as I'm here, neither he nor anybody else has anything to fear. I'll meet you in front of the city's main gate in about an hour; before the invading army arrives." Helen then gently squeezed my hand and said in the much softer tone that she always uses when she speaks to or about me, "Just as soon as my sweetie pie here finishes brushing my long, pretty hair." (It never ceases to amaze me how Helen can be so incredibly strong and tough and yet so soft and feminine at the same time). After the Captain left, Helen returned to our bed, smiled at me and said, "O.K. honey, you can finish brushing my hair now. I want it to be in 'fighting shape' when I confront this army." 2) How Helen and I first met. Twelve years ago, when I was fourteen years old, I was playing with some of my friends in the farm fields outside of the city's walls when a gang of five bullies came upon us and, for no reason, started to beat us. As they were all older and much larger than we were, it wasn't much of a fight and we would have been severely beaten - and then we all heard a loud voice shout, "Stop it right now! Leave those kids alone you big bullies!" We looked in the direction of where the voice was coming from and were surprised to see a lone girl walking towards us and carrying a large basket of what looked like apples over her right shoulder. And as she approached, we heard her say, "You bullies have been picking on the kids around here for far too long and I think that it's about time somebody taught you a good lesson; and I'm just the girl to do it." When she came closer I recognized her. Her name was Helen and she lived with her parents on a farm near-by. Around my age, every few days she would carry a large basket of fruits from her farm to sell at the marketplace inside the city and appeared to be on her way there when she came upon us (Helen and I had actually introduced ourselves once when I bought some apples from her stall at the market). But she was just one girl only slightly taller than I was. And although she was quite muscular (I thought at the time that it must have been from all the hard work that she does on her farm), what can she possibly do against five tough and larger boys? Helen calmly put down the basket full of apples and then did something that struck me as being rather odd. She tied her long, pretty dark hair back into a thick braid and put a knot at the end of it; then put her hands on her hips. "O.K. tough guys, let's see just how tough you bullies really are." The largest of the bullies, who appeared to be the leader of the gang, approached her. But when he got within a couple of feet of Helen, she swung her head rapidly around and - WHACK! - struck him with the knot at the end of her braid with so much force that it knocked him to the ground! Two other boys then charged forward but - SMACK! - WOP! - Helen also flattened them with just two more quick turns of her head. CRACK! - THUMP! - and down went the last two bullies; and none of them appeared to be in any condition to get back up. As amazing as it seemed, this girl had flattened all five of the large, tough guys with just her hair - and her hands never left her hips the entire time! "Well, well, I guess you boys weren't quite as tough as you thought you were if a girl can beat you all with just her hair." Helen then reached down and grabbed the largest of the bullies by his hair, yanked him to his feet and dragged him over to a near-by rock. Then she sat down, pulled him across her knees and proceeded to give him a good spanking until he begged her to stop. Helen then forced all the bullies to apologize to me and my friends and promise never to pick on us again. After they had done so, Helen said in a loud, firm voice, "NOW SCAT!" And away they ran, as fast as their feet could carry them. But it wasn't just the bullies that ran away from her but also my friends; the very ones that she had fought to protect. Only I remained, so awed by what I had just seen this pretty girl do. 3) Our friendship begins "I guess your friends are scaredy cats too," Helen said with a frown as she watched them all run away. Then she looked at me and asked, "Are you also afraid of me?" When I told her I wasn't and, to the contrary, that I thought what she had just done was amazing, Helen's frown immediately turned into a beautiful smile. "Why thank you Alexander (remember, we had introduced ourselves to each other earlier but I was still somewhat flattered that she remembered my name), that was a very sweet thing for you to say." "You can call me Alex, Helen; all of my friends do. Here, let me carry this basket of apples to the market for you. It's the least I can do after what you just did for me." I couldn't help but notice the cryptic grin Helen had on her face when I said this. But it wasn't long before I found out why. I bent down, placed my arms around the basket and prepared to lift it - but I could barely budge it! With a great deal of effort I did manage to lift it about two feet off the ground before I had to put it down again. As Helen watched me struggle, she began to giggle. "Oh Alex, you're so cute; tee, hee. Here, let me show you how it's done." Helen wrapped her muscular arms around the basket and, seemingly without any effort at all, lifted it up and placed it over her shoulder; still giggling as she did so. "I'm sorry I giggled while you were trying to lift the basket Alex; that really wasn't very nice of me. But you were so funny; tee, hee." "How can you do this Helen? How can you beat up five large bullies with just your hair, lift up this heavy basket full of apples that I can barely lift off the ground and carry it all the way from your farm to the marketplace without seeming to exert yourself? Who are you? A female version of Hercules?" Again Helen began to giggle (she likes to do that a lot). "That guess was actually a lot closer to the truth than you realize Alex. But let's take this thing between us slowly O.K? Come and walk with me to the marketplace so that we can get to know one another better." Helen and I spent the rest of that day together. As we were walking back to her farm (this time I did get to carry the basket, but only because it was empty), we passed by another farm where, on our way to the market, we saw a man with a team of horses trying to move a large rock off of his field - but he wasn't having much success. When Helen and I returned, we realized that the farmer must have given up because he and his horses were nowhere to be seen and the rock was pretty much in the same spot that it had been when we walked by earlier. "Excuse me for a few moments Alex," Helen said with a smile, "this shouldn't take me too long." I watched as this beautiful, long haired brunette walked over to the rock that was nearly as tall as she was and must have weighed several tons. Helen placed her hands underneath the large rock and, while I stood near-by in silence, she managed to lift it completely off the ground and raise it above her head in her outstretched arms! Then she winked at me, lowered her arms a bit, bent her knees and, with a mighty heave, tossed the huge rock at least a hundred feet (thirty meters) through the air where it landed completely outside of the farmer's field. Helen then calmly returned to where I was standing, grinned and said, "I'd love to see the look on that farmers face when he sees where the rock is now." When Helen saw the surprised look that I had on my my face, she asked with another giggle, "What's the matter Alex? You've never seen a girl toss a large rock before? Tee, hee, hee." Then she got serious. " Come. Let's walk to my farm now. I think that there are a few things that you should know about me." 4) Helen reveals to me the secret of her incredible strength. When Helen and I arrived at her family's farm she led me directly into the barn behind her house so that we could be completely alone. We sat down next to each other on a pile of hay. Helen untied her braid and fluffed up her long, beautiful dark hair. Then she turned to me and said, "Alex, I want to tell you something that happened to me last year that I've never told anybody about - not even my parents. But first you must make me a promise to keep my secret just between us. If you can do that, then I'll tell you how I got to be so strong - and why." After I promised her that I would indeed keep her secret, Helen smiled at me and began her story: "About a year ago I was pulling out weeds in our field when I saw an old lady walking along the road. She looked tired and thirsty so I invited her come inside our farmhouse for some water, food and maybe to rest up a bit. She followed me inside and we sat down at our large table - both of my parents were selling our produce in the market at the time so we were alone. After I fed her, the old lady looked at me, smiled and said, "You were very kind to me Helen. I see that I had indeed chosen wisely." "How? How did you know my name?" I asked, surprised. "I've never seen you before. And what did you mean when you said that you had chosen wisely?" All of a sudden a bright light appeared all around her. And as I watched in amazement, she transformed herself from being an old lady into a beautiful, young woman - right before my eyes! And as I looked at her I suddenly realized who she was - none other than the Goddess Athena herself! I immediately got down on my hands and knees and genuflected before the mighty Goddess; but she told me to rise. Though it was very difficult for me to speak at the time, I somehow managed to ask her why she had come to our humble farm. "Helen," Athena began, "the mighty Greek hero Hercules has died and ascended to join the Gods on Mount Olympus to become the God of strength. I am searching for another worthy mortal to replace him. But this time I want a female instead of a male. All men are plagued with pride, arrogance and conceit and will abuse their great strength; as Hercules did from time-to-time. But a female would be able to temper her powers with humility, compassion and love; as you did when you invited me in here and offered me food and drink. Therefore, I have decided to bestow upon you Helen, the great strength that the Gods bestowed on Hercules. I will also make your body invulnerable to all the weapons of war. No arrows, spears or swords will ever be able to harm you. You will be an invincible warrior, able to use your great powers to protect the weak and helpless as well as to defend the ones you love." "But I will not bestow all of these powers upon you at once Helen. As you are still very young, you will need time to adjust to using them wisely. So I will gradually increase your strength, invulnerability as well as your size as you grow up and mature. And by the time you are a young woman, you will be ready to receive all of your powers in full. But for the time being, I will simply increase your strength about fifty times and add a bit of height and muscles." "Athena put her right hand over me and I felt a warmth and tingling sensation all over my body. After she finished, the great Goddess smiled and wished me good luck. Then there was a bright flash of light and Athena was gone. I must have sat there at the table for over an hour, trying to come to terms with what had just happened. Was it all just a dream? Something that I had just imagined? I grabbed the large table with one hand and, amazingly, found myself able to lift it; and it wasn't even heavy. I was even able to balance it on one finger! I went back outside and finished all of the weeding. A job that under normal circumstances would have taken me several hours to do, I was able to complete in just a few short minutes. I couldn't believe it. Me, a thirteen year old girl, suddenly had superhuman strength!" "But then I remembered what Athena had said to me - that I must temper my new powers with humility, compassion and love so as not to abuse the new abilities that I had been given. That's the reason that I beat up that gang of bullies earlier today with just my hair Alex. Because if I had used my fists against them, I could have very easily seriously injured or even killed them. I mean you saw what I did with that rock in the farmer's field; right? (How could I ever forget that?) And it wasn't even all that difficult. Athena said that my powers will get even stronger as I continue to mature and grow up. And in the year since my encounter with the Goddess I can already feel myself getting both stronger and larger. I used to be quite small, but now I'm taller that you are; and much more muscular (wink). So Alex, now that you know my secret, do you still want to be my friend? Or will you be intimidated by me like your friends were when they all ran away after I protected them?" I thought about what Helen had just asked me for a few minutes before I replied. "Yes Helen, I would really like to be your friend. I think you're wonderful, and (this was difficult for me to say as I'm really quite shy around girls, especially pretty ones) you're also very attractive; and I really like your beautiful hair." What followed next is something that I'll never forget for as long as I live. Helen got up from the hay pile that we had been sitting on, reached over and lifted me up. Then she gave me the longest, strongest and most passionate hug that I have ever received. No kissing, and certainly no sex (we were after all only fourteen years old at the time), just an amazing hug. When she finally released me, I collapsed back on the hay pile; totally exhausted. "Oooopsy," Helen giggled, "it looks like I need to practice controlling the strength of my hugs; tee, hee, hee." 5) Over the next several years. As the years began to pass and Helen and I grew from being fourteen year-old kids into young adults, our relationship also evolved - from being mere friends into full blown lovers. And, just as Athena had told her it would, Helen's size and strength also grew. By the time she was eighteen, Helen had grown to a whopping six and a half feet tall (which would be her final height) and had biceps that measured a full twenty inches around! I couldn't even begin to tell you how strong she had become. But despite all of that, she never lost her kindness, compassion and her femineity; to this day Helen still giggles like a little girl when she finds something is funny. Not wanting to display her amazing abilities until she had complete control over them, Helen tried as hard as possible to keep a low profile. But sometimes a situation would occur when she felt that she had to use them. When a neighboring farmer told us (I live with Helen on her parents farm now) that a fierce lion was attacking his herd of sheep and killing several of them a week, Helen decided that it was time for her to take action. I would have loved to have seen the look on that farmers face when he went out to check up on his sheep the following morning and saw the lifeless carcass of the ferocious beast lying in the middle of his herd with a broken neck. Finally, when Helen reached the age of nineteen, she decided to reveal herself to the king and citizens of our city-state. I'll never forget the day (I say that a lot because it's true) when we had an audience with his majesty himself. We entered his opulent palace and stood before him (as mere commoners, neither Helen nor I had ever been there before). "Your Majesty," Helen began in a loud and commanding voice. "My name is Helen and this is my friend Alexander. I have come to offer you my services to help you protect and defend our city as well as all of the countryside that is within your realm. Because of my strength, I believe that I can be of tremendous service to you and all who inhabit your kingdom." After Helen had finished presenting herself, the King, his court and all of his royal guard that were present at the time broke out in laughter; but Helen - anticipating this reaction from them - remained calm. When the laughter had died down, Helen smiled at the king and said, "I can see, your Majesty, that none of you seem to be taking my offer very seriously. Therefore I'd like to suggest a little test so that you can judge me by my abilities. Choose one hundred of your strongest and toughest soldiers and guards and meet me outside in the courtyard." Helen then turned to me and whispered, "I think that this will be a day none of them will never forget." She gently took my hand and led me out of the palace and into the courtyard. Helen and I sat down on one of the sides of the large courtyard and waited for the king to assemble his one hundred soldiers and guards. As we waited, my powerful girlfriend amused herself by playing with some of the many kittens that were freely roaming around the area and giggling when they licked her fingers. "Aren't they cute Alex? We should take one or two of them back to our farm. I think they'll make great pets; tee, hee, hee." And while Helen was playing with the kittens, I was engaging in my favorite pastime - brushing her long, beautiful hair. After about an hour or so, one hundred large, strong and tough looking men marched into the courtyard and lined up in neat rows on the opposite side, facing us. Helen smiled at me and said in a relaxed tone, "You stay here with the kittens sweetie pie; and enjoy the show." She then playfully pinched my nose, rose and calmly walked over to confront them. Helen walked out to the center of the large courtyard, stopped and put her hands on her hips. Looking up at the King, who, along with his entire court was watching from above, said, "Your Majesty, the Gods have given me the strength of none other than the mighty Hercules to protect and defend my city and all who live here. But I can see that none of you believe me. So let me show you in this little demonstration just how powerful I can be. Have all of these big, strong soldiers of yours attack me at once and we'll see who prevails. You may do so whenever you like. I am ready." As I watched the scene that was now unfolding before me, I couldn't help but wonder just how surreal it must have appeared to anybody other than me (who was very well aware of how strong and tough my beautiful girlfriend is). One hundred large, strong and tough men - the crème de la crème of the king's army - were converging around a single woman who had a smile on her beautiful face as they did. There was a tense moment of silence as they completely surrounded her; and then the Captain shouted out in a loud and commanding voice, "ATTACK!" And attack they did. One hundred strong and tough men against just one single woman. For anybody who was watching it was certainly about to be a massacre if ever there was one. And they were right, it was indeed a massacre - the poor men never stood a chance. Faced with an opponent with literally a hundred times the physical strength of even the strongest of them, the toughest men in the king's army would have been smashed to pieces had that have been Helen's intent; but, fortunately for them, it wasn't. All Helen wanted to do was prove to the king and anyone else who was there that with her superhuman strength she could protect and defend their city by herself and that no other soldiers were necessary. They could all go back to their families and not live in constant fear that one of their stronger neighbors would try to invade and conquer them - not while the mighty Helen was their protector. It couldn't have been more than ten minutes after the king's best soldiers attacked Helen that they were all lying - all one hundred of them - in heaps and piles around the courtyard; all beaten up by one single woman who didn't have so much as a scratch on her (in fact her beautiful hair wasn't even mussed). But because Helen had only used a small fraction of her tremendous strength, not one single man was either killed or suffered a serious injury. Battered, beaten and knocked unconscious yes; but that was all they had suffered. Helen returned to the middle of the courtyard again and looked around at the hundred battered men that she had just beaten up (yes, there were a hundred of them - I counted them all). Satisfied that she had proven her point, my beautiful girlfriend smiled up at our totally stunned King and said, "Well your majesty, do you still think that I can't protect your realm from all its enemies?" Her question was, of course, by now rhetorical. 6) Helen confronts the invading Theban army. I finished brushing Helen's long, beautiful dark hair and tied it back into the ponytail that she always likes to fight in so that it won't get into her eyes while it's swishing around during a battle. "Your hair is now in fighting shape honey," I said as I put her hairbrush away. "Thank you sweetie pie," Helen replied as she gave me a gentle hug. "Maybe after I've defeated this army we can come back here and cuddle for a little bit (wink)." Off in the distance we started to hear what sounded like thousands of men marching towards our city. "I guess it's time for me to do a little bit of work," Helen sighed. "Why can't you men just learn to live in peace with one another and forget about all of this macho bullshit?" she asked. "That way I wouldn't have to wipe out an army today and everyone would come out ahead." Unfortunately, Helen's rhetorical question remains unanswered to this very day. We left our farmhouse and walked to the main gate of the city where the Captain of the King's guard was waiting for us just outside. "We heard the Theban solders approaching Captain," Helen said. "They'll be here soon. I want you to make sure that everyone in the area is inside the walls of the city by the time they arrive. That way they'll all be safe and nobody will get hurt; at least not from our side that is (I swear I saw Helen grin when she said this). And once everyone is inside and safe, I'll confront the invaders." Helen then looked at me and said, "I want you to go inside too honey. Things will probably get a little messy out here (an understatement if ever there was one), and I don't want you to be exposed to any danger either. You can watch the battle from the top of the ramparts where you'll be safe. But I do want to warn you in advance Alex, these aren't the King's guards and soldiers that you watched me beat up several years ago. I was gentle with them. This is an invading army that has come here to conquer and rule over us. So, regrettably, I will have to deal with them in a much harsher way than I did with the Captain and his men." Helen paused for a moment before concluding, "I just want you to understand that this is the reason Athena gave me the awesome strength and powers that I now possess - to protect the weak and defenseless from the strong and powerful like those that are coming to subjugate us. And that is exactly what I intend on doing." The Captain led me and the last remaining stragglers inside the city walls and then ordered the gates closed, leaving Helen alone outside to face the Theban soldiers that were already beginning to arrive. I walked up to the top of the ramparts and from there I could clearly see the approaching army; and indeed there must have been several thousand at least. Then I looked down at Helen - one lone woman was about to face off against an entire army of thousands of trained soldiers! But if she had any apprehensions about the impending confrontation, you certainly couldn't detect it by looking at her. To the contrary, she actually appeared to be quite relaxed and calm. Helen looked up at me and smiled, then turned around and began walking towards the approaching army with her long, pretty ponytail swishing in the breeze behind her as she did. My intrepid girlfriend met the Theban army in the middle of a large, level field about a quarter of a mile (400 meters) from the walls of the city. From where the Captain and I were standing high up on the ramparts, we could clearly take in the entire scene. The Captain estimated that there were probably somewhere in the neighborhood of three thousand soldiers massed against Helen. Three thousand strong, tough and well-trained soldiers were lined up against just one woman - and Helen wasn't even armed! All she had were her two fists to fight against them. Once again the word surreal popped into my head as I watched the scene that was playing out before me. "General!" Helen called out in a loud and firm tone of voice to the large man that was mounted on a white stallion and appeared to be in command of the Theban army. "I'm going to say this once, and once only. Take your army back to Thebes now! For if you don't, then you will leave me with no other choice other than to destroy it. And don't think for a moment that I can't, or won't, do it. Because if you don't believe me, then you will be making the greatest mistake of your life. So go back to Thebes now, or be prepared to face the consequences!" Needless to say, nobody expected the general of an army of three thousand men to heed Helen's warning; least of all Helen. But my compassionate girlfriend still felt that she should, at the very least, warn the army in advance of the fate that would await them if they did chose to attack her; if only to reduce the guilt that she would feel over what she was about to do. Helen knew that although these men had invaded her city-state in order to conquer and subjugate it, they were still sons, husbands and fathers. But she also knew that in order to protect her people from them, as she had sworn to do, she would be forced to kill many of them. So if they didn't heed her warning, then they would leave her with no other choice but to wipe them out. 7) The Battle As Helen had expected, the general simply laughed at her warning, as did most of the soldiers that were close enough to hear her. So without further ado, he ordered his army to advance against our city. But there was only one problem with that, in order to get to our city they would first have to go through a woman with an indestructible body and the strength of Hercules - which, unfortunately for them, proved to be impossible. Impervious to their arrows, spears and swords, Helen began to carve a swath of death and destruction through the ranks of the outmatched Theban soldiers; and using nothing more than her fists to do it. Such was the power of Helen's blows, that from the ramparts of the city walls I could clearly see large men flying all over the place as she began to decimate the ranks of the invaders. With just one blow from Helen's mighty fists, even the largest and strongest men fell lifeless to the ground. I watched in amazement as arrows broke against her impregnable skin, iron spears and razor sharp swords shattered after striking her invulnerable body. As Helen stood six and a half feet tall, it was relatively easy from my vantage point on the wall for me to follow her as she tore through the hapless army; leaving a trail of death and destruction behind her. Unfortunately, I was also close enough to hear the pathetic screams and cries of the Theban soldiers as she did so. I felt a great deal of ambivalence as I watched as my invincible super-girlfriend weaved her web of death and destruction upon the hapless Theban army. At first it was dozens, and then hundreds, of strong and brave soldiers that were falling before Helen's mighty fists. A part of me felt horrified at the devastation that she was unleashing upon them. But another part of me felt a sense of pride in what Helen was prepared to do in order to protect the lives and freedom of our city-state (and I also have to admit that watching my beautiful girlfriend singlehandedly wipe out an entire army, with her long, pretty ponytail swishing around behind her as she did, definitely added an erotic element for me; that is to say a VERY erotic element for me). As the massacre continued, and it became obvious to the Thebans that it was impossible for them to defeat this amazing superwoman, panic began to spread throughout their ranks. Military discipline broke down completely and what had been one of the finest armies in all of Greece just a short time earlier was now reduced to being nothing more than a large, chaotic group of panic stricken men fleeing for their lives - and all by just one single woman! Seeing that all was lost, even the general turned his horse around and started to flee; but he didn't get very far. "Hold on there big boy," Helen said after she ran him down, grabbed his horse by the tail with one hand and stopped it in its tracks. "Just where do you think you're going? I'm not quite through with you yet." With her free hand Helen reached up and yanked the defeated general off his horse; then released his steed and allowed it to run free. "Now, what am I going to do about you?" Helen asked herself as she held the large but terrified general several feet off the ground with just her little pinky finger. "I could walk over to Thebes and wipe it off the map if I wanted to. And I think that after watching what I just did to your army now, you'll agree with me when I say that there's absolutely nothing you or anybody else could do to prevent me from doing it; if I were so inclined." Helen then forced the general to look at the horrible scene around them. All around, lying in heaps and piles, were the bodies of at least two thousand of his finest soldiers that the mighty woman had killed with nothing more than her fists. And as he surveyed the terrible scene around him, the once arrogant and proud general of his once powerful army broke down and began to cry. The invincible woman warrior then recalled the wise words that the Goddess Athena spoke to her when she first endowed Helen with her amazing abilities - that she would be able to temper the great powers granted her with humility, compassion and love. Helen then slowly lowered the general to the ground. "General," she began in a soft voice," I'm finished killing your soldiers. You will go back to Thebes now and tell everyone what happened here today and never threaten us again. Is that clear? Furthermore, you will come back here as soon as possible and take all of your dead soldiers back to Thebes so that they can receive a proper burial. Now, go in peace." The general looked up at Helen for a few moments, then turned around and slowly began to walk away. 8) The Aftermath The Captain opened the gate and I ran out of the city to greet my incredible girlfriend. (How many times can I say that word? But is there a better one to describe Helen after what I had just seen her do?) As I ran to her, I could hear the sounds of loud cheering coming from the citizens of our city who had also witnessed Helen's fantastic display of female might. By the time I reached her, Helen had untied her ponytail and was fluffing up her long, beautiful hair. "I'm afraid that you're going to have to brush my hair again when we get back to our farmhouse sweetie pie," she said as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened. "I'm sure that it must have gotten a bit mussed during the battle." Overcome with awe, I gave this gorgeous superwoman the strongest and most passionate hug that I could. "Oh Helen, you were way beyond awesome. There simply aren't words to describe what you did here today. I love you." I felt myself being lifted off the ground and gently cradled in Helen's powerful arms - ironically, the same arms that she used to wipe out the Theban army only a short while earlier. "I love you too honey." Stepping around the heaps and piles of the dead Theban soldiers, Helen began to carry me away from the battlefield and towards our home. "Come sweetie pie, let's go home now. My work here appears to be completed. And after you've finished brushing my pretty hair, we can get into bed and do some serious cuddling. After all, there's nothing like wiping out an army to put a girl in a sexy mood." 9) Epilogue In the Spring of 2012, archeologists in Greece made a very important discovery. Using infrared and spectral imaging from satellites in space, they discovered the ruins of a heretofore unknown city which they dated to around 600 B.C.E. As their archeological dig proceeded, they unearthed the usual things that one would expect to find at such a site - such as the remains of walls, palaces and houses; along with swords, spears and broken pottery. But there was one thing that not only surprised the archeologists, but even stumped them. It was a large and almost completely intact statue of a very muscular and beautiful woman with long hair. Who was she? Was she a Goddess? An important person in their society like a Queen or someone of great wealth? When the six and a half foot statue was sent to a museum for further examination, the only clue that they could find was the single word that was carved into the pedestal - and all it said was "Helen."
