OH NO! II: Robin, Carlos and Merryl (and Jess) by Marknew (Marknew742@aol.com) Short stories with a similar theme 1 "I'll just be going down to the 7-11, I guess, for a snack. Can I bring you something, Robin? Carlos?" "Thank Merryl, but we're going out to La Francoise tonight. I don't want to spoil my appetite." Merryl looked over to Carlos, who gave her a curt shake of the head and looked down. "Well, okay then. I should have figured you'd have something special going for tonight. I'll be back in a little while, then. Bye." Robin waved and Merryl left and quietly closed the door behind her, turning the key to double-lock it. "She's so considerate," Robin sighed. "She's always in the way!" Carlos replied and grabbed his pretty, blond girlfriend, throwing her on the bed and covering her with kisses. "And we have at least twenty-five minutes before she gets back!" Robin giggled and put her arms around Carlos. "That's not nice, you know. Merryl's a perfect roommate. She doesn't make noise, she cleans up, pays her rent, never gets any phone calls and always finds something or other to do for me. I have to be thankful I didn't end up with a lunatic like Cheryl did. Her roommate cleaned out her whole apartment when she was away for a week. She had nothing left, not even a toothbrush. And it's nice she's letting us have the bedroom tonight, even though it's her turn this month to have the private room." Carlos put his hand inside Robin's blouse, fondling her 34-B breasts. "If you say so. I just wish you had your own place." "Mmmm, so do I." She squirmed. "Carlos! You're going to get me all hot! We don't have enough time! We're going out in two hours, and I have to get ready!" But she didn't push him away. He kissed her check and drifted down to her neck, licking it. Robin shivered. "Oooh, that just drives me wild, you know!" She put her legs around him and pulled him closer, massaging his erect penis with her pubis. Suddenly they heard the key in the lock. "It's me! Oh, I forgot my purse! Ooops! Sorry!" She left again, double-locking the door. "I think she does that on purpose." "Carlos!" She looked at him, her face flushed both from arousal and embarrassment, then she laughed. "You're probably right. She is a little jealous of me." "I think she listens in on our phone calls." Robin shrugged. "And I told you I caught her messing with your computer once." "She said it was making a funny noise." "Bullshit." Robin sighed. "I know, I know. But what can I do? I can't afford my own place, not while I'm still in school. And she is mostly nice." She caressed Carlos's chest. "It's because you're so sexy, Carlos. She wants you." "Ugh! Don't even joke about that! I couldn't even imagine it! She's so plain. Flat-chested, mousy personality, frizzy hair, that skinny nose, and all the tiptoeing around all the time like she's afraid of her own shadow." "Yeah, and did you ever see her arms? She's got muscles like a guy! It's so gross." Carlos looked up, blushed, and then nodded. "Yeah, definitely!" "Well, at least I don't have to worry about her stealing my boyfriend!" she joked. "Don't be ridiculous. I'd kill myself if I had to go out with her!" he affirmed loudly. Robin smiled. "Well you don't! You have me instead." "Still, I wish we had this place to ourselves." "Well, Carlos, if you're going to keep wishing, at least make it a good one. I'd want a better apartment than this." "Hey sure. A big mansion." "A big bank account." "You finished with school, and for me, Vice President of Sales, not having to report to that bitch Annette anymore." He noted Robin's disapproving look. "OK! OK! President of the company, then!" "Now you're talking." Robin's eyes were dreamy, and she murmured, "But Carlos, if you could wish for anything, really, what would you wish for?" He blushed, snapping back to the present. "Uh, I don't know." He didn't want to think about Annette. "Happiness. A good family. My mother not so sick." "You're so good, Carlos, it's almost -- But really, what if you had three wishes. And they had to be specific, not just 'happiness.'" "I still would wish for my mother to be healthy again." "O.K. That's one. How about money?" "Yes, sure, but, I like working. I don't want to sit around all day. I'd get fat and lazy. You would not like that, yes?" She laughed. "You're incredible. I'd wish for a billion dollars. Then I'd have the choice." He smiled. "You wish for a billion dollars, but you study English in college and go to graduate school to be a teacher. You spend more for your education than you will earn in ten years." "So I’m not practical. If you like practical, maybe Merryl's practical. What would you wish for us?" "I wish we would be able to get married." "Carlos! You don't have to waste a wish for that." He looked at her. "Oh, I get it. So I'd make up my mind already and say yes. But not while I'm in school! I have to finish up, get my degree." "I know. It's important to you. Well, then I'd wish you get your degree." "You're hopeless!" She pretended to glare at him. "But I love you." He kissed her. "So, if you're the better wisher, what would you wish for." "O.K. I told you one. A billion dollars. Two. Oh, I'm not telling!" "Robin! Play the game. No, this is silly. You don't have to." She looks down. "No, I want to, but don't rush me." She put her hand on Carlos's stomach. "Don't take this the wrong way, but I'd change our bodies." "You'd what?!" "Not a lot. I think you're the sexiest man alive!" She rubbed his belly. "But you're 5'9", and I'm just 5'3". Our kids are going to be so small. Yeah, I THINK about those things. So what if you were like 6'1", and I was 5'10," and your arms and stomach was really flat and hard, instead of a little soft like now, and I was like a 36C or D, instead of just a little bit small on top? But you would still be Carlos, and I would still be Robin, just like now. Wouldn't that be fun? Oh, don't look like that! I love your body. You know you turn me on. Come on, there isn't anything that can't be just a little bit better, is there?" "This is the craziest talk we've ever had. How did we get started talking about wishes?" "It was you. You wished we had our own place." "Well, I wish I never said it." "Carlos!" He laughed and pushed her down on the day bed and was about to attack her again when the key turned. "Fuck!" he said softly. "I got almost halfway there when I realized, I didn't really want anything. So I came back and --- Oh, hey I'm really sorry!" "It's all right Merryl. I was just going to take my shower and get ready." Carlos looked at Robin in frustration, looked back at Merryl and walked stiffly over to the sofa, looking for the remote. He clicked it on and saw only snow. "Oh, hey, the cable's out and I forgot to call them. All we get is channel 10." Merryl reported. She picked up the TV Guide. "It's The Thief of Bagdad, the old black and white one, but it's half over." "Forget it." Carlos sulked. "Are you up here for long, Carlos?" "Just tonight. I have to leave tomorrow, when Robin's sister comes. We have a big sales meeting in Altoona Monday." "Altoona! My Aunt Edith lives there. You want her number? She's very nice. She likes when people visit." "No thanks, Merryl." She nodded. "Yeah, you probably wouldn't have time anyway." Merryl pretended to be busy cleaning while Carlos stared at the wall behind her. She looked back at Carlos every thirteen seconds or so. "How is your mother?" she said, after several minutes. "What? Oh, hanging in there. You know." "Yeah. My Aunt Sarah. In Gettysburg? Yeah. She had cancer. Ovarian." Carlos nodded. "She died. It was quick." He grimaced and turned away. "Yeah, it was really sad." She went on, polishing the same place on the table. "You know --- "I DON'T want to talk about it." She jumped, startled by his anger, and swallowed, nodded and went back to her sweeping. 2 They were loud as they climbed the stairs. "I can't believe you spilled that wine on my head." "Well, Carlos, you have a terrible voice. Whoever told you to sing!" "But it was such good wine!" "Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha." Robin fumbled for her key. "I know it's in here somewhere." "You'll never find anything in there. Let me try." "Get away from my purse! Help police! Ha-ha-ha-ha!" The lock turned and Merryl opened the door slowly. "Oh good, Merryl's done it. Thanks Merryl." They tumbled in. Merryl scrunched her nose at the smell of alcohol on their breaths and closed the door behind them. "Oh, I found them!" "Forget it. We're inside." "Oh, right. Hey, here's the lamp." She pulled out a tiny brass lamp. "This is our magic lamp," she explained to Merryl. "Very nice. Can I see it?" Merryl asked. "No! It's ours. You have to get your own magic lamp." Robin started laughing again and could not stop. "Come on, Robin, let's go to bed." "Yeah, right! And we can play with the lamp. Ha-ha-ha-ha!" Carlos guided her into the room and they closed the door, still talking loudly. Merryl watched them and went back to the sofa, listening carefully. "Let's rub the lamp and do the wishes!" "Robin! Cut it out." He held her shoulders and kissed her. "It's our one night. We got better things to do." "It'll just take a minute. Here, you first. Now remember, you only get three." She handed him the lamp. He shook his head. "All right, all right! If it makes you happy." He held the lamp. "I wish --- "No, no, you have to rub it first." "This is really dumb." He rubbed the lamp. "Let's see. I wish my mother was healthy again. I wish I were president of my company. And I wish you were finished with your graduate school, so that we could get married. Just like I said before. OK?" He looked around. "Well, nothing happened." Robin looked disappointed. "Oh come on, honey, you weren't really expecting anything, were you?" Robin shrugged. "I don't know. Of course not. Well, it's my turn." She took the lamp and rubbed it. "I wish I had a billion, no, a hundred billion dollars in the bank." "A hundred billion!" "Yeah, why not?" "But you said – "I changed my mind, O.K.? I'm allowed. It's my wish." "Sure. Sure. All right, O.K.!" he said impatiently. He sat on the bed and put his arms around Robin's slender waist and pulled her onto his lap. "You can wish from here." "Now, just relax Carlos. OK. I wish that Carlos here was 6'1" tall, with a real hardbody, like Stallone in the Rambo movies." Suddenly, Robin found herself rising, the legs she was sitting on becoming firmer, the lap deeper. She turned around. "Holy Shit! Something's happening!" Carlos stared at his arms, which were now laced with muscle. He stood up, letting Robin slide to the floor, and felt his lean and hard stomach and his hard biceps. "I can't believe it. Look at me!" "Oooh, I'm so excited! Oh man! O.K., O.K., now. I wish, uh, I wish I were 5'10", 135 lbs., with breasts like Pamela Anderson, only real, 36" hips, 22" waist and toned like, like, Cori Nadine!" Robin quickly grew, her breasts bursting through her bra and her blouse, her skirt splitting. She looked down at her bust. "Look at us, Carlos! Look at our bodies!! We're perfect!" Carlos looked at her with pure lust. "You are incredible. He lifted her in his arms, easily holding her additional weight. "Dios mio. No lo creo. Es un milagro!" Robin turned around and put her arms around him. "I know what you mean," she said, and kissed him. He felt her body, pausing especially on her large, soft breasts and her round ass, and shook his head, then started working on the remnants of her bra. "Wait, lover. I want to check something." She grabbed the phone and punched a few buttons, waited, then hit a few more. "Listen to this!" "You're current balance is one hundred billion dollars. Your available balance is one hundred billion dollars!" He handed the phone back and she put it down. "Wait, you try something. Call your mother." "It's too late; she doesn't sleep well. I'll call my number at work." He dialed his number, waited, then pressed his voice mail code. "It's Annette. She's working for me now! She's telling me about my meetings in London this week. She wants to know which jet I want to fly over there!" Robin laughed. "Well, which one?" "I don't know. I -- what am I going to do at a meeting with the International Consumer Electronics Association!" "Relax. You'll do great! You can sell anything. Remember?" "Yeah, right. Sure. But. I better prepare. I have to check the agenda, my presentation. Write a speech." "Calm down. Someone will do it for you, right? Tell Annette to get on the ball. You just have to read it. And talk to people. You're good at that. And everyone will want to know you. You're the President of GE, right? That's one of the biggest companies in the world, right? "Me? President of GE? We have to celebrate!" He ran around the room, confused, then looked at Robin. She was sitting cross-legged on the bed, watching him. "I can think of one nice way to celebrate." He looked at her. She was gorgeous. Knowing she had his full attention at last, she stretched lazily, her firm bosom pointing high in the air as on the prow of a sailing ship. "Come here, lover. I want to try out your new equipment. Don't you want to take a ride on me?" He smiled broadly. "Oh si, si, mi pequena enchilada!" He put his strong hands on her ass and lifted her in the air for a long slow kiss. "Oh, baby you feel so light to me." She stroked his biceps. "Oh my! How my boy has grown!" she murmured, and purred as his new large tool emerged from his shorts. "Oh look! It's time!" Robin and Carlos got very little sleep that night. Neither did Merryl. 3 The next morning, as Carlos showered, Robin changed the sheets and made up the bed, hiding the lamp carefully with her diary and her love letters. They had both used three wishes, but the lamp would always be sacred to her. There wasn't much she could do today. Thanks to Carlos she now had her degree; she was maxed out on her credit cards, and she couldn't withdraw more than $300 from the machines until the bank opened Monday, so today would be her last day in the middle class. At least she could enjoy her new body --- if she could find something to wear. Bolton's at the mall would open at 10:00, and she could squeeze into her largest shirt and pants and forego the bra and panties for the morning. Tomorrow she'd go on a shopping spree like no one had ever done before, not even Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman! Too bad her bratty sixteen year old sister Jess was already on her way for a visit. She'd have to take her too. Well, nothing would bother her now! Carlos was distracted, thinking about his new job, but Robin insisted that they celebrate, so they compromised and went out to brunch at the most expensive restaurant in Wilmington, the golden couple attracting stares everywhere in spite of their ill-fitting clothes. Meanwhile, Merryl stayed resolutely asleep on the day bed as Robin and Carlos passed through the living room. When they left she jumped up and watched them through the window. They climbed into Carlos's old Chevette, and once the car pulled away, she ran into the bedroom. Where was that lamp? She scanned the counters quickly, then the closet shelf, the spot in Robin's dresser where she kept her diary. Ah, there it was! The little lamp was very unimpressive, dented, chipped, dirty, scuffed and, well, so small. But it obviously had powerful magic. Merryl had thought all night about what she'd wish for. The first one was easy. She wanted a figure even more glamorous than Robin's. So, she wished that she had a bigger bust than Pamela Anderson, a 20" waist, and 38" hips. Merryl looked down, and saw her bathrobe, which normally closed around her flat chest without even a fold, rearrange itself, fighting against the obstacle of her breasts to stay closed. Ha-ha! Oh, but her new breasts were so heavy. She'd never had that problem before and hadn't planned for it. She needed more muscle and strength just to stand up right, twice as much it felt like, and so she wished for it. She straightened up immediately, but then noticed her arms and legs also got bigger, her arms doubling in size. And she already had arm muscles that were way too big! She was so careless. Not that she didn't like being strong. She'd always liked being able to surprise other people with her muscles; after all, that was the only thing about her body that wasn't plain. But now she'd messed up this new body. And she had just one wish left. What would she do? Money or Carlos? She sighed. Maybe he'd like her new body enough that he'd come to her anyway, without all the money. And he was President of GE now. They wouldn't need her money. O.K. She wished Carlos would find her body so desirable that he'd leave Robin and come to her. There, it was done. When he returned, he'd be all hers. Then she had second thoughts. Why had she focussed on her body? What if Carlos only liked her body, and not her? What if he still liked Robin's personality? After all, like most men he seemed ambitious. In his new job he would need an attractive wife, and Robin was very beautiful. Oh, she'd been so stupid. She wished that Robin's body was flabby and gross, like that fat fifteen year old girl who lived next door. He'd never want someone like that. She sighed. Oh well. She never thought things through carefully enough. She always had to change her mind a million times before she did anything, and then nothing ever got done. That's why she was just a clerk at the library, while Robin was going to be a teacher. Oh, she was so stupid. She wished she could undo all of the wishes, and could just start all over again. And in a flash, her bathrobe fit loosely around her chest, her arms were back to normal. She stared at the lamp. It was still working! She hadn't used up her wishes. Maybe she could have as many wishes as she wanted. She laughed. She knew something Robin didn't know! Oh, but she would be more careful this time. She'd do it right. She put the lamp down and got out a piece of paper. She always did better when she wrote things down in advance. She hid the lamp in a drawer and took a shower. That would also help her think clearly for a change. As she turned off the shower she heard footsteps on the stairs. They were back! What would she do? She jumped out, put on her robe, tucked the little lamp inside and hurried out of the bathroom, just in time before Robin and Carlos opened the door and dashed through, not even bothering to lock it. Merryl jumped. "Uh, hi Robin, Carlos. What are you doing back so --" Merryl stared at them. She hadn't seen Carlos up close since he had gotten taller; he was so handsome now. Merryl felt as if she were melting. Her legs shook and she leaned against a table to steady herself. And Robin was stunning. But why was she wearing ripped clothes? "Wh-what's happened to you?" Robin glared at Merryl, then burst into tears and ran into the bedroom. Carlos swallowed and followed her in. Merryl wished she could hear what they were saying, and, suddenly, she could. "It was so humiliating. I can't believe that stupid lamp!" "Robin. I am sure no one really noticed." "Carlos! I was standing up in the middle of the restaurant. Everybody, EVERYBODY, was looking at me anyway, and suddenly I just blow up like a blimp, my pants split, my shirt flies open showing this fat belly and saggy tits, my stomach hanging down like a gross sack, my skin turns into a mass of pimples like that pathetic teenager next door, and then the next minute I'm beautiful again, but wearing shredded clothes. They all pointed at me. And you just stood there." "But what could I do?" "You should have distracted them. Done something to help me!" "I am so sorry baby. I -- "But what if this lamp keeps doing that? What about my money? Your job?" Merryl heard them rustling in the room. Robin was looking for the lamp! What should she do? She wished there were another lamp there, where Robin had hid it. "There it is. Stupid lamp." It clanged on the floor. "How dare you!" She kicked it and it banged against the wall. "Robin. I think maybe you should not do that. What if, what if there really were a genie in there?" "Oh yeah? I wish there were! Aggghh!" Merryl heard a hissing sound and an explosion that burst the door open. "YOU HAVE SUMMONED ME?" the voice boomed. "HA- HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!" Merryl trembled. She collapsed on the floor and buried her head. What had she done now? That genie would probably kill them all! She was always doing the wrong thing! She wished the lamp and the genie would disappear. And it was quiet. "Hey, he's gone!" "Yes, and so is the lamp," Carlos added. They crept outside, where Merryl was slowly getting up, careful to clutch the original lamp to her body inside the robe. She had done it! She saved their lives and now she had the only lamp and they didn't even know it! They looked at Merryl, then at each other. "Um, Merryl. You're probably wondering what just happened," Robin said awkwardly. Merryl nodded. "We, uh, had a magic lamp. That's, uh, why we look different. And that's why there was this explosion. I think we made the genie mad. But they're both gone now." "Yeah, well, you look great," Merryl said, afraid to say anything else for fear she would say the wrong thing. "Uhhuh. Well, thanks. I guess I should tell you. I'm going to move out soon. I also got a lot of money -- from the lamp. Maybe I should give you some, you know, to help with the rent." "That's nice. Thanks." Robin looked at Carlos, then back at Merryl. "You're like, so calm about it." She looked at her more closely. Merryl swallowed. "Uh, you know. I'm just, uh, not very emotional. And, uh, well, it's obvious you've changed so much, like overnight, so I guess that explains it," she said matter of factly. "Yeah, sure. O.K." Robin looked at her, started to turn away and turned back. "You're not mad, are you?" "Mad? Me?" She shook her head. "Like, I guess we should have let you use it too, but, I mean, we were very excited, and it happened so fast, and now it's gone so we can't do anything about it." She smiled, her smile so dazzling that Merryl felt ashamed of herself. Robin smiled again and took Carlos's arm and turned to go back to the bedroom. Robin was so beautiful now, even taller than Merryl was, and she felt intimidated. "Oh yeah. Sure. I understand." Merryl nodded, speaking to Robin's back. She hadn't thought of that before. She had been completely left out, as usual. Without thinking she opened her mouth. "But, yeah, I mean, you could have. Easily." Robin stopped and turned her head. "There wasn't time. Look, Merryl. It was my lamp, ok? I was just saying that to be nice. You know, you're just my roommate. I don't have to give you the money. I don't owe you anything." She tossed her head, her thick, lustrous blond hair spinning and glowing, like a corona around the sun. Merryl hated her. Robin had no right to be so beautiful. Merryl wished Robin was short and fat and had thin, greasy hair and no breasts. And suddenly she was five feet tall, her pants dragging against the floor, her fat stomach hanging out of her open shirt, pushing it open; her chest flatter than Merryl's. Her eyes opened wide and she screamed. "Aaaii! That stupid genie! Look what he did to me now! I'm even worse than before. I'm horrible!" Merryl smiled smugly and wished herself to be as beautiful as the most beautiful woman in the world, immediately becoming a carbon copy of Elle MacPherson. She looked down at Robin and sneered and shed her bathrobe to reveal her glamorous figure. "Yeah, well now I'm the one who's beautiful." "Oh no! Carlos! Look! She has the lamp. Get it from her!" Carlos stared at Merryl/Elle and hesitated, then reached for the lamp. Merryl clutched it, backing away. No! He couldn't! He mustn't take it away from her. "Merryl. It is not your lamp. Give it to Robin," Carlos said firmly. Merryl stared at him, indecisively. He was so commanding, so handsome. How could she say no. But he was just taking Robin's side. And if she gave him the lamp, he'd change everything back. No. She wished she was strong enough to hold on to it, to keep him away. Give him time to get to like her. She felt her muscles growing again, her toned, limber arms rapidly developing thick, powerful biceps, even larger than his. He stared at her, still reaching for the lamp, but also staring at the thick biceps tensing and still expanding on her arms. She hugged the lamp closely to her bountiful breasts, now sitting atop new, hard pectoral muscles. He put his hand on the lamp and she clutched it more tightly, twisting back and forth to pull it out of his hands, then pushed him backwards. He tumbled across the room, falling back against a stuffed chair which turned over. Merryl laughed, once she saw Carlos wasn't hurt. She held her arms back, accentuating her chest. Carlos stared at her, then back to Robin, then back again to Merryl and her arms. "Carlos!" Robin cried. "Do something!" Carlos was frozen. He couldn't take his eyes off Merryl's arms. Robin saw this and screamed, charging at Merryl as quickly as her short fat body could take her. She crashed into Merryl, but just bounced off, Merryl's powerful legs and stomach hardly registering the impact of Robin's flabby body. She held the lamp in the air, far above Robin's grasping hands. She looked at Carlos with amazement, following the direction of his eyes. "You - you like me this way! You like my muscles!" Carlos stammered. "I - I" "Oh I wish you'd tell me how you really felt about them!" A torrent of words streamed forth. "Oh Merryl, you are my fantasy come true. I have always admired your arms. I feel so guilty, but I love to watch you clean, to watch your muscles tense while you sweep, or while you sponge the dishes clean. I dream about them at night. Even when I make love to Robin, I think of your arms, those bulging muscles. I think of how strong they are! I imagine them flexing against me, flexing higher and harder than my own. Outstripping me in strength, in power." His eyes widened. He tried to clamp his hand over his mouth, but he couldn't stop himself. "I want to rest my head against your chest, to feel your hard biceps on my cheek, to put my small hands around them and feel their power burst my grip. I want to – "Oh Carlos! I had no idea!" She ran over to him and swept him into the air, holding the 6'1" man in her arms. Carlos seemed paralyzed, then, unable to resist either Merryl's strength or his own desires, cupped her biceps with his hand, pressing against their massive firmness in wonder and pleasure. "Stop this! Stop him! I can't stand it!" Robin shrieked. She ran to get the broom and swung it savagely at Merryl who, shocked at the attack, dropped Carlos and stood frozen, only at the last second moving her arm to ward off the blow. The broomstick landed hard against Merryl's wrist, knocking the lamp out of her hand and sending it skittering to the open door, where Robin's younger sister, Jess, stood watching, open-mouthed. They all stared at her, chewing her gum furiously, her blond hair dyed orange and green, her thin t-shirt ripped and barely reaching her navel, which sported one ring, with five others in her left ear, one in her left eyebrow and a tatoo on her left arm. Her denim skirt barely reached one-third of the way to her knees. She picked up the lamp. "Well, well, well. What's this?" "OH, NO!" Robin cried. "Jess. Give me the lamp," Carlos said quickly from the floor at Merryl's feet. "It belongs to Robin." He stood up, unsure of himself. She shook her head. "Uh-uh. I saw the whole thing. This is a magic lamp, isn't it?" She looked up at Merryl, who nodded helpfully. "Well I'm sure not giving it to my bossy big sister!" Robin immediately charged at Jess, who quickly said, "I wish you'd all stay right where you are!" Robin stopped dead in her tracks. The others seemed planted on the floor. "Hey, that's great!" She stepped inside the room and closed the door. "O.K. now. You, the short fat one, you must be my sister. What a joke! And you must be Carlos, and you, Elle MacPherson with muscles, you're Merryl aren't you?" "Yeah," Merryl confirmed. "What a riot!" She looked at the lamp. "So, how many wishes do I get? Three?" "I don't know. I think as many as you want," Merryl replied. "Can I have it back, please?" "No!" she said quickly. "Sorry Merryl, but I really do appreciate the help." Merryl nodded, pleased to get the compliment. "I think I'd like to know how this works. None of you do. Let's see. I wish I knew everything there was to know about this lamp and how to use it! Oh! I see! Well, fine!" "So, did you learn anything, Jess?" Merryl asked, curious. "Uh-huh," Jess answered, "but I'm not telling." She tucked the lamp under her arm and walked over toward Robin, keeping just out of reach of her short chubby arms. "So, sis, hitting the chocolate lately, huh?" "Shut up, Jess! It's the lamp. It's all Merryl's fault!" "I know. I know all about it." She patted the lamp gently and walked next to Carlos. "Sorry, Carlos, but I liked you better when you looked like yourself. I wish you looked like Carlos again." Instantly, Carlos shrank back down to his original size. "Jess, you leave us alone! We had everything just the way we wanted it," Robin said, trying to sound authoritative. Jess turned around and scowled. "I wish you had another thirty pounds of fat, right where you don't want it!" Robins stomach immediately expanded again, as did her ass and thighs. She let out a wail, and Jess giggled. "There, now you be quiet, or I'll make you even fatter!" Robin whimpered. "Please Jess, would you let me go. I have to pee," Merryl said, bouncing on her toes. "Can't do that yet, Merryl, but," she smiled, "I wish you didn't have to go." "Ohhhh, thanks, Jess. I feel better now." Jess smiled at her, turned back to her sister and said, cattily, "I don't know why you said all those nasty things about Merryl. I think she's very nice!" Merryl turned to Robin, looking wounded. "What did you say about me?" Robin glared at her. "This is all your fault! If you hadn't taken the lamp, Jess wouldn't have it now, and -- "So?" Jess demanded. "Why shouldn't I have it?" "Because it's mine. I bought it. You're always taking my stuff. I'm sick of it. Now give me the lamp and give me my body back. Now!" "You always get everything. Just 'cause you're older you think you can always be boss!" "I should be. I'm the one who's responsible, while you just look and act like a total loser." "Robin, be careful," Carlos warned. "She has the lamp. She can –- "That's right, Robin. I have the lamp. And that'll cost you another thirty pounds. I wish she were another thirty pounds fatter, all in her pretty little ass!" Robin shuddered and wailed again, her ass puffing outwards still more, her legs staggering under her weight until she collapsed on her cushioned behind. "Very funny! No more chocolate for you, Robin!" Jess teased. Robin opened her mouth to reply, then closed it. "You learn well, sis!" Carlos cleared his throat. "Um, Jess. Don't you think you could let us go? I'm getting tired standing here." "Yes, now that I've had a chance to think about this. I wish that none of you will try to take the lamp away from me or try to hurt me, and I wish to let you move around again." A collective sigh came from Carlos, Robin and Merryl. Robin staggered to her feet and over to the couch where she sat down, only to crash to the floor as its legs gave out to her weight. She whimpered. "Please Jess. Please give me my old body again!" Jess flashed a smile. "O.K. And that gives me a good idea. I wish that Robin would go back to the way she used to be –- when she was fourteen!" And immediately, the fat Robin was replaced by a girl with long blond hair, braces, a greasy face and a flat chest." "What's happened to me? I'm a teenager again! And my body -- my figure -- it's gone!" "Yeah, and as I remember you didn't start getting tits until you were sixteen. You got two years, Robin. So now who's the big sister?" "Yeah, well I still have my life experience. You can't take that away! I went to university, and I have a car. That'll prove it. I'll make them treat me like an adult, even if I look like a kid. " "Hey, yeah. This will be really interesting," added Merryl. Jess thought a minute. "I know. I wish everybody's memory, except ours, and all the records of things everywhere will be changed to show that Robin's fourteen, and -- since I can drive -- her car and everything else she owns that has a record or something, will be mine! There! Now what're you going to do? Nobody will believe you!" "No! You can't! My money! You can't get all my money!" "What money?" Jess looked at Merryl and Carlos. "Anybody want to tell me?" "Don't!" "She'll find out anyway, Robin," Carlos said, resignedly. "Robin wished for a hundred billion dollars. It's in her bank account." "Really? Good wishing, Robin! I'll take you out sometime, O.K.? I'll be a good big sister, I promise," she snickered. Robin lay on the daybed, sobbing. Carlos went over to her and held her, and she clung to him. Then, realizing he was comforting a fourteen year old girl, he pulled back. "Uh, Robin, this doesn't look right. I mean, you're too young. You're probably not even legal here." He stood up. "What about me? Are you going to do anything to me?" asked Merryl. "Naah. Why should I?" She looked over at Carlos. "You still want him?" Merryl gazed his way. "Oh yes! I mean, if he wants me." Jess laughed. "I think we all know what Carlos wants, don't we?" Carlos blushed. "Come on, Merryl, flex those biceps for him." Merryl tentatively lifted her arm and tightened her muscles. Jess whistled as a mountain jumped out of Merryl's arm. "Wow! How big is that? Let's measure it!" Merryl obediently took out a tape measure from her sewing kit and Jess wrapped it around Merryl's biceps. "Twenty- four inches and really hard! What do you think, Carlos? You like it that way?" Carlos stared at Merryl, then looked away. "Oh, I knew it was too good to be true!" Merryl said. "Come on Merryl! You know he likes it. We all heard him say so. He's just too embarrassed. Now, this is what your fairy godmother's going to do before she takes her little sister home. I'm going to make you irresistible to Carlos." Merryl shook her head. "Uh-uh, please don't make him love me. It -- it wouldn't be the same, knowing it wasn't from the heart." "Merryl! You're such a romantic. But that's not what I was going to do. Listen to this, Carlos. I wish that Merryl can make herself as big and muscular as she likes, and can make you as small and weak as she likes. There! Just think about the fun games the two of you can play! You won't be able to get that from anyone else, Carlos." Carlos looked at Merryl and swallowed. "I -- I really always have wanted you Merryl. What I said before, when you wished that I speak my mind, was true. I -- I'm really sorry I was so mixed up, but -- but, I always hoped you'd be here when I came to visit. Do you think we could -- "Oh Carlos! Yes! Yes!" She rushed over and picked him up in the air, handling his original body with even greater ease than before. She held out her arm and flexed it. "Let's see if I can really make it bigger. Oh look! It's growing!" Carlos stared in wonder at the growing mass of power, which soon reached 27". He wrapped both of his hands around it, hugging it to his chest as Merryl cradled him in her arms. Jess looked at Merryl. "That looks pretty good. Maybe I should get some of those. I wish I had some muscles too, like, uh, Madonna!" Jess pumped her arm and smiled at the peak that popped up. "Ha-ha! Good enough for now. Better not mess with big sis', Robin!" Robin buried her head in her hands. "Come on 'Robs', I think they need some privacy, and we need to get back to Scranton so that you can do your homework!" "Homework?" "Yep! As I recall, you're way behind in your math." "Math! I hate math." "I know." She went over and pulled her up and marched her out the door. With Carlos in her arms, Merryl walked over to the window and watched Jess and Robin climb into Robin's Tercel, which immediately transformed into a Miata. Then Merryl locked the door and pulled the shade. She held Carlos close to her, moaning slightly as his hands explored her arms and back. "Oh, Merryl, you're so powerful!" "Carlos, I can't believe this," she said, as she walked with him into the bedroom. "It's a dream come true." "For me too, my grande enchilada." They both laughed and made passionate love all afternoon. 4 It was dusk. Merryl had never imagined she could feel so fulfilled. She felt she had a whole new life ahead of her, and a confidence she had never known was filling her. "Wow, what time is it?" Carlos asked. I have to get back home. I have work tomorrow." "Oh, not yet Carlos. Stay the night!" "I can't, Merryl. I have an important position. I have to set an example." He sat up, but Merryl pulled him back down again with one powerful arm. "Merryl!" "Hee-hee. Your big, strong girlfriend doesn't want you to go yet. I know a game we can play!" Carlos tried to get up, but using all of his strength he couldn't budge her arm, which, even as he struggled, grew larger and larger. Merryl was growing too, and soon was over a foot and a half taller than he, her legs extending over the end of the twin bed, her arms now as thick as his legs. She flexed her biceps, which exceeded the size of his head. "Ay de mi!" he exclaimed and felt his tired member begin rising once again. He pressed his lips against her arm in worship and put his arms around her splendidly huge body, still in perfect proportion, at least as far as he could reach. Then he noticed something. His arms felt strange and he looked down at them. They were shrunken, thin pipestems, barely the size of Robin's when she was fourteen! He pushed against Merryl as hard as he could, but he could barely even dent the stony muscles beneath her chest. She laughed. "Oh that tickles! How do you like it Carlos? I made your arms and legs really weak, didn't I, but I kept your back strong so you wouldn't get hurt." She pulled him up by the wrists, dangling his thin body in front of her as she stood up. "Look at our bodies, honey. Mine so powerful and yours so weak. I must be twenty times as strong as you. Let's see." "No! I don't want to play this game." "Yes you do. Look at your penis. It's practically standing straight up. That means you do, right? You just don't like to admit these things. But I'm learning." "I -- I She lowered Carlos to the floor and grabbed a large dictionary from the shelf and handed it to him. It immediately sank to the floor. He reached down and with both arms lifted it part way up. Merryl took it from him with one hand and held it out, like a tray, and then picked up Carlos and sat him on top of it, still holding it in her extended arm. He stared at her in wonder, holding his arm against hers and marveling at the difference, then leaned over towards her. She laughed and held him against her, his thin body barely as wide as her chest, lay gently down on the bed and pulled him inside her. She felt him shaking and her chest was wet with tears. Tears of joy, she was sure, as she enveloped him in her arms.
