NPC Nationals 1998 by -jabber Mixed pairs... Ain't the -jabber gonna talk about the competitors? All right all ready! I personally love the prejudging (although the finals were sold out) not because of the lower price, but because you get to see all the females. Pose and pose again... In the mixed pairs, there were only 3 couples (as usual, I will discuss them in the order they placed, with other notables afterwards). In 3rd place was Marcia Ferguson (who also entered as a heavyweight) and male, in 2nd place was a very cute little blonde I'd seen once on ESPN years ago (can't remember which show - but back when ESPN not ESPN2 showed hour-long fbb shows) Jenee Lirette (who also entered as a lightweight) and male. She had cute muscles that would possibly be well accepted by a broad cross-section of the population (if that was the goal). In 1st place was an ultra-massive Rosemary Cheeseman (who also entered as a middleweight) and male. I've seen Rosemary before, but never so big nor dense. A slightly blocky physique but otherwise well-balanced, with an incredibly thick, powerful looking midsection with ridges. Oh, -jabber was happy with this decision. Interestingly, at the evening show, when Jenee Lirette was milling around (covered up as many fbb's do) she stopped nearby where Bob (Nicole's husband) and I were chatting. Nicole was busy with some adoring fans at the time, and Bob made a slight mistake. He asked Jenee if she wanted a pic taken with Nicole (mistook Jenee stopping to pack some of her belongings as wanting a pic). She replied, "oh, no, I just need to stop and fix my stuff". The -jabber smoothly told Jenee Lirette, "What Bob really means is he would like a pic taken with you!" (wink). To which Jenee said, "Me? Oh, I'm a nobody!" The -jabber retort, "oh trust me, you're far from a nobody!" I really wonder if little known fbb's know how attractive they are to certain factions of the population. Pity that this ultracute little girl would refer to herself as a nobody, even if partially in jest. There are plenty of folks who like fbb's, just not all folks. Oh well.
