IFBB Women's Pro World (Intro)

One of the two "new" Pro shows added this year (the other being the
Extravaganza Pro show, October 2nd in the "Garden State") to allow the Pro
women to "flex" their muscles at both literally and figuratively, I went
here not knowing what to expect at all.  This was my first time in Detroit,
and luckily, I also had business in Detroit conveniently adjoining the Pro
World weekend, thus making traveling here painless and easy for me. :-)

Although work in Dallas (for the "one" day I was there) was going badly,
from the moment my plane arrived in Detroit (20 minutes early) to when I got
my rental car from an attractive young black woman who just happened to be
my height (6'4"), I knew this would be a great weekend.  

This show (which also had an amateur portion) was held in the far suburb of
Novi at their Expo Center.  The set-up was not unlike the Ms. I Arnold
Weekend stuff, complete with booths basically advertising the same
merchandise/wares at that famed show (clothing, supplements, Muscle
Elegance, etc.), only much MUCH less crowded - you could actually breath -
and at times hear a pin drop. :-)  But there were more seats than at the
Arnold prejudging and they were completely closed off (as you could buy just
an Expo ticket if you so chose).

But the evening show was sold out at least.  One nifty thing about this
show, like with the Jan Tana and the Ms. Olympia, the women are the stars of
the show.  Believe me, there's a difference between shows where the women
are the headliner vs. the opening act (even if you leave after the opening
act as I've been known to do for some of the NPC shows :-) ).
