Fitness by -jabber I'm gonna be brief here as I know lots of ya snooze through Fitness (can't say I blame ya), but? Most fitness women nowadays are quite muscular (especially if you look at them up close as they walk around) and quite pretty facially. If you can just get beyond their silly seemingly necessary implants? And you know I still like hardcore muscle mass on a female, so for me to state many fitness competitors should satisfy that requirement? In 17th place was Shaunta Teeters, a hard small blonde who we've seen before. I don't know what her injury was, but unfortunately she wasn't able to do her finals fitness routine. She appeared in all other rounds (the rounds are "mandatories", two-piece swimsuit, routine, and one-piece swimsuit, the latter two rounds take place at the finals). In 16th place was tall Linda McLaughlin. I didn't bother giving my vocal chords a workout this time - I usually boo when this delightful young lady finishes so low. It's now become predicatable, unfortunately. Although, as usual, she looked great, I've seen Linda better and more impressive in previous contests. In 15th place was Lisa Lowe, someone else who I would've expected to routinely place higher but she doesn't. A classy short-haired black woman, her body was softer than many others to come. In 14th place was Cynthia "Abs" Bridges. Usually popular with the crowd, I don't recall her routine, sorry. In 13th place was Maria Bellando, who the MC kept forgetting whether she was from Miami, Ohio, or Miami, Florida. Of course, with the warmspell that weekend, I'll bet the weather wasn't that different in those two places. She's the mother of I believe two children, and she's a VERY lean competitor - two children and lean abs like that? Whew! In 12th place was Lovena Tuley from Lawrence, Kansas. A buddy of mine had the good fortune of talking with her on the plane ride in. A classy looking competitor sort of under the Mary Yockey/Lena Johanssen type, curiously she routinely finishes much lower than those two (if in the same contest). In 11th place was Amanda "Abs" Blank. Formerly a fitness competitor I didn't care for, until she decided to develop abdominal plates that make Theresa Hessler jealous, her symmetry is generally off (perhaps explaining only an 11th place finish). Her shoulders aren't quite wide enough (although they look muscular), thus causing her arms to look thick and powerful - a neat look, but not if they're rewarding the symmetrical fitness look. Plus Ms. Blank looks more impressive not completely dieted down (but a week out) like seen in the halls of the Nationals last year in Orlando - more muscular than lots of FBB's there? In 10th place was Klaudia Kinski, a complete unknown here from the same country as Timea Majorova. In fact, Timea acted as Klaudia's interpreter at times. I feel like learning Czech to get Timea as my interpreter. But during her routine, this dark-skinned European needed no interpretation. I was very impressed, she was a former gymnast, and had a funky rhythmic routine that showed strength and her incredible body, too (she too had that iron-plates in the abs disease that seems to afflict many of these women delightfully so). I would've placed her much higher? In 9th place was DJ Wallis, a crowd favorite because I believe she's from Ohio (I didn't get the official Arnold program this year, otherwise I'd know this stuff, sorry). One guy I was sitting next to at the finals wanted her to get 1st or 2nd simply because she was from nearby. Now that's solid reasoning - yeah, right? In 8th place was Adelina Friedmansky, from Normal, Illinois. A new pro, she also has those unsightly hard distinct lumps on her abs that I love so much - and very dark skin. I thought she might've looked a bit nervous for some reason during her routine. Then again, maybe not? In 7th place was Melissa Frabbiele from Ypsilanti, Michigan. Her name is almost as cute as the name of her hometown. Very cute little girl, I haven't any recollection as to her routine this year - some previous years, I'd felt she'd had the sexiest routine, not sure this time. In 6th place was Laura "Arms" Mak/Makowski. She wins points for being Polish and probably being able to out-armwrestle all the women there except maybe Linda McLaughlin (well, who knows, but it crossed my mind). Can't remember her routine, but she's nicely becoming more muscular as time goes by. In 5th place was Jenny Hendershott, who looks a bit like Shaunta Teeters, or vice versa. Another very hard blonde? In 4th place was Shena "Left Tricep" Forkner from Dallas, a town I've heard of. J The reason I call her "Left Tricep" is because during prejudging, I had the fortune of her standing on the side of the stage I was at, and, in addition to looking cute as a button at this show (I have MANY pics of her), her left tricep seemed flexed for hours on end - cutely bulging out 100% of the time. As usual, she had a very energetic routine, doing the style push-up Carol Semple made famous (two legs above her head) OODLES of times and fast. This woman is powerful. In 3rd place was Shannon Meteraud, who I feel physiquewise is over-rated. Unfortunately, she was first up in the evening show, and I fully missed her routine. Probably wouldn't have remembered it anyway, though. In 2nd place was Timea Majorova, one of the tallest, sexiest fitness competitors ever seen. With that said, why the HELL did they reward her with that high of a placing when I've never seen her look worse? Because she's very attractive, even at her worst, she's good looking, but she was softer in the body, yet her face wasn't "better" than at other shows. She looked positively ragged compared to her stellar appearance/look at previous shows. I wonder what the HELL the judges were thinking here. Shena should've gotten 2nd, pure and simple. In 1st place FINALLY was Kelly Ryan. I'd seen her passed over at previous contests while lesser fitness competitors won. Unfortunately, because Kelly came on 2nd, I'd missed half of her routine, also. But with her high-flying moves, I probably would've had a hard time photographing it anyway. The judges got it RIGHT with the first place at least this time around. No complaints there?
