2000 Emerald Cup (Intro)

In the very urban Seattle suburb just to the east of Bellevue is generally
one of the more interesting, well-respected, well-run shows around.  If
travel allows it (or you live in the trendy Pacific Northwest), this show
should be a must-see on your agenda.

This was the second year I'd seen this show.  It was an almost wasn't for me
because two folks I'd planned on getting together with never happened AND
this show happened to fall on the Easter weekend this year.  

In order to balance things out, I simply chose to leave Seattle VERY early
Easter morning, so I didn't spend the entire Easter Sunday away from home.
That turned out to be a good compromise, as the show was killer...
