| Her powers were back. She didn't know how or why,
but she knew she had to confront Sandy while she was still strong.
Sandy was talking on the phone gloating about how she defeated the Mighty Super Shelly and was oblivious to the approaching super heroine |

| "You got lucky before, Sandy, but it's not going to happen again!" the heroine said defiantly. "You're coming with me now!" |  |

| "LUCK," said Sandy, "had nothing to do with it, Super
Shelly." Without batting an eye, Sandy produced the evil pendent
again.
Super Shelly began to feel that strange weakening sensation again. |

| "Gasp! Oh no! not... again.... My powers...... feeling........" |  |

| "... weak. So.....weak" |  |
|
| "I can't believe what an idiot you are Super Shelly, or should
I say 'Stupid Shelly!'
I didn't realize that this stuff wears off so quickly, but you really should have escaped when you had the chance. What a moron you are!!" |

| Sandy's words cut through the proud heroine like a knife.
"I'll...... I'll .... get you, S s s....Sandy. You're no ...... no match for S s s Super.... Shelly!" |

| The mighty heroine's words seemed more and more like false bravado as the evil mineral pendent continued to weaken her. Her once powerful legs were weak and wobbly. Her knees buckled. Her head was heavy.... |  |

| and her powers were drained more and more. |  |

| She could not- would not- give up and tried to fight off the weakness with all she had... |  |
|
| But she had nothing but a deep sinking feeling that maybe Sandy was right and she should have escaped to fight another day. |  |
|
| But escape had not been an option. She got her ass kicked for the first time in her life and could not let Sandy get away without paying dearly for that. Unfortunately, it seemed more and more like Super Shelly's ego driven decision smacked of poor judgement. |  |

| One the heroine had been sufficiently weakened, the evil Sandy went into action and pushed her to the ground. |  |
|
| Stunned, weakened, and in serious trouble, the world's mightiest heroine struggled vainly to get to her feet. |  |
|
| "Have you fallen and can't get up, Super Shelly?? Here. Let me help you." |  |
|
| Sandy lifted the heroine to her feet. |  |
