Fitness Camp
Part 5
Dear Dad,
I told you they were bringing in some bodybuilders and strongmen to help train us, since we we are getting too strong for
the regular staff?
Well, the so called strong men did not give us the challenge they expected.
This 240 pound bruiser named John came to help me workout. he was huge with rippling muscles from head to toe. But I'm already a lot
stonger than him. I had to put evrey pound on the machine plus have him give resistance even to get a pump. Sweat was pouring off him
as he tried futilely to resist my arms on the pec deck.
I closed my arms together like he wasn't even there, like some 4 year old was trying
to oppose me. He fell on the floor exhausted. I grasped his hand to help him up
but I must have been too pumped. His hand crackled in my grip and he screamed in pain. The camp doc said I broke most of the bones
in his hand. I hope we are insured. I'm getting so powerful I'm starting to scare myself.
John tried to help me do dumbbell presses. He grabbed onto the 100 lb dumbbells to hold my arms down. I pressed the dumbbells up and John too, his feet dangling
a foot off the floor. I think that really shook him up. I said, why don't I just lift you instead ? I grabbed him and rapidly pressed him overhead
twenty times. I dropped him to the floor, knocking him out cold and making the room shake. His body recovered, but I don't think his pride will.
I went to the doctor here along my camp counselor Wanda. Wanda was worried I was advancing too rapidly so she had me do some tests.
The doctor told me I was much stronger than a normal girl, and even stronger than any man she had heard of. Cool, huh ?
I was so excited that
I ran out and whisked my coach up in my arms and ran down the road with him to his house.
He asked me to help him jack up a car in his back yard, since I
was so strong. After I helped him , I played around with the jack, twisting the inch-thick iron like butter.
He saw what I was doing and said
" Have I got an idea ! How about a strength contest here at the camp ? We could round up some of those World's Strongest Men types and see how you compare."
"Great!" I said. I went back to the gym and hit the weights. When I finished, I grabbed one of the 95 lb, four foot long bars and
put it behind my neck like I had
seen the guys do on TV (only they used wimply little bars.) Imagining the shocked looks on their faces, I slowly pulled down
on the ends of the bar.
It was really hard. I felt the warm steel bend on the back of my neck, and it groaning as it bent. Eventually I had formed it into a U shape.
Peeling off my shirt,
I admired my pumped bod in the mirror.
I can hardly wait until those guys get here...
Love,
Anna
