THE TRIAL AT THE WARRIOR NUNS COURT by Hamlet PART ONE Sister Alison the Warrior Nun drove through the lovely Oxfordshire countryside with her colleague Junior Sister Megan by her side. She felt so pleased with herself that together they had achieved their first successful Mission the capture and kidnapping of the atheist Professor Roland Davenport at Oxford University. Megan was especially pleased to have Alison as her Mentor during her Novitiate. She had successfully practiced bondage on her victim and then had kidnapped him after she and Megan had easily beaten up and defeated his security guards at the University. In the back of the Nun Wagon lay the trussed-up body of their victim the Professor of Biology at Oxford Roland Davenport. He lay like a captured animal in his underpants in agony in fear of the terrible fate that awaited him at the hands of the Catechision Court at St Agatha's Convent in Eastly in Kent. Soon there would be hundreds like him! It was now getting dark as Alison drove down the M40 toward Eastry. Alison realised that though she and Megan were exhausted after their exertions that there was still plenty to do. Their prisoner would have to be incarcerated in the cells for three nights. It was now Friday and on Monday he would have to stand trial in effect before the whole world at the Convent, as the Trial would be relayed across the whole world just like the International Court in The Hague... The Trial would be presided over by the Chief Catechisitor the Mother Superior Sister Athena Lydiasdottir.Next to her would sit the Prosecutor Professor Eva Harvested whose responsdibulty it was to ruthlessly tear apart and refute all of Davenport's arguments using her brilliant adversarial skills. Alison knew all about the terrible procedure that would be followed. As soon as they reached the Convent, they would be met by the Court Bailiff Sister Marissa Bloodbanger. She would be responsible for supervising the prisoner taking him to be trussed up to the cell and then to present him semi naked for trial. The Trial would begin at exactly 9 AM on Monday and would be the first Trial conducted by the WNs outside Norseland. These Trials were quite well known inside Norseland where the Royal Christianist Church and the State were completely integrated as they were in Spain at the time of the Inquisition ,The whole procedure of the Catechision Court was modelled directory on the Spanish Inquisition, The first step in trying prisoners just like the Inquisition was the Edict of Grace where at the Church on Sunday morning the Mother Superior would read out the names of heretics and miscreants who had committed such sins as failing to attend church, failing to read the Bible regularly and of course the most serious sin and crime of all blasphemy which was what Davenport would be charged with. Members of the Congregation would them be required to give evidence against the accused as almost all the information came from informants who would be encouraged to spy on their neighbours. Any information that would be incriminate the accused would be used against the accused by the mother superior herself. Sister Athena had ordered the world-famous American atheist Samuel Harrison to be Davenport's defence counsel. He had reluctantly agreed knowing full well that he faced being sentenced himself for the crime of Apologising for an Atheist if Davenport was found guilty, Once accused the defendant Davenport would almost certainly be found guilty. The Court was effectively just there to decide on what punishment to give the accused just like all Courts in Norseland where the accused was always convicted once arrested by the Warrior Nuns or the Judges. The WNs operated as the national Religious Police just like the Judges were the Secular Police. All denunciations would be anonymous just as they were under the Inquisition. It was the duty of every single Norselandic Citizen and Subject of the Queen Goddess to ensure that all other Citizens obeyed the Law not just the Civil Law but the Religious Law as well. Attendance at Church was on Sunday was compulsory and failure to attend was a serious criminal offence. Every house would have CCTV installed so that the WNs and the Judges could monitor every single activity. Neighbours would be required to report to the Priestess of the Parish any crimes or misdemeanours committed as well as to the local Judge and Social Officer who would pass the information on to the WNs The case would then be examined thoroughly by the Catechision Court There were 21 Catechisitors in Norseland corresponding to each Province. Naturally all these were Women as Women were perceived to be blessed with Holiness, as were all Officials in the Church, men being forbidden from holding any religious office at all or playing any part in the Church. Women were deemed the superior Sex seen as more holy in the sight of God in every way. Any comments to norselandic@hotmail.com
