JOYANN SETS OUT TO NORSELAND ON HER FIRST MISSION AS A BLACK SCORPION AND AVENGERESS By Hamlet Joyann Lomana-Reid-sat on the huge armchair on the Lufteflote flight from New York to Stefansholm a journey across the Pacific Ocean that would take just over 10 hours She had wanted to go to Norseland for such a long time and had just joined the NAS (Norselandic Admiration Society) especially as being a tough dominant woman herself she yearned to go to a Nation which was a Matriarchy and Gynarchy and where women were the dominant sex. She was looking really stunning dressed in a black leather bra, a leather studded collar, skin tight leather trousers, tight leather gloves and tight knee length boots with sharp high heels that revealed her huge rippling muscles and thighs and her Black voluptuous muscular body. She was travelling first class as a member of the Black Scorpions an organization exclusively of Black Women dedicated to the complete eradication of crime all over the world, that worked with the Justice League a Norselandic force too dedicated to the eradication of crime and terrorism all over the world . She was now working for the Justice League on her first Mission to go to from Norseland to the Congo to restore order and the rule of law in a country suffering from civil war and complete anarchy. She would be working together with a member of the JL Justice Manika Murderhaard a world renowned and feared crime fighter whom she was to meet on arrival at Stefansholm International Airport. She was also to meet her Supervisor SJ (Senior Justice) Abela Eyringen who would brief her on her Mission at the JLHQ (Justice League Headquarters) in Stefansholm. She sat there in the luxury of er cabin with its en suite facilities of a huge sofa, shower, TV, DVD and video player and a king size bed. She could not believe that she was on a plane. This was a veritable Flying Palace where even second-class passengers had their own cabins! The airline itself made American planes look like slums in comparison all of which was proof of the total superiority of Norselandic technology. As well as this she was taken care of by her Host SAO (Senior Airline Officer) Ladonna Lindahl who made sure that her every single need was catered for. Ladonna looked so impressive in her SAO uniform in black leather as all Norse Women wore with a skin tight leather jacket. leather skirt, leather gloves fish knit tights and knee length high heeled boots Ladonna also had a Papain slaveant called Toki who could be summoned in a second and whose duty it was too served Joyann's every need or she had full permission to crop him mercilessly if he should fail. He had just served her a delicious meal of an enormous steak with fresh salad and fries, a typical Norselandic dish cooked to perfection by the Papian cook Manaia., who like Toki knew she faced a severe cropping across her brown arse from her Mistress Ladonna if every meal was not cooked to perfection. Joyann had been ordered by Abela to study all about the Congo. She had been given an Encyclopaedia of the Democratic Republic of Congo that was nearly 100 pages long published by the Justice Leaugue, that was packed with information all about its history, culture cuisine etc. The DRC was formerly called Zaire (1971-1997). It was, by area, the largest country in sub-Saharan Africa, the second-largest in all of Africa (after Algeria), and the 11th-largest in the world. With a population of over 84 million, the Democratic Republic of the Congo was the most populous officially Francophone country, the fourth-most-populous country in Africa, and the 16th-most-populous country in the world. Joyann learnt that centred on the Congo Basin, the territory of the DRC was first inhabited by Central African foragers around 90,000 years ago and was reached by the Bantu expansion about 3,000 years ago. In the west, the Kingdom of Kongo ruled around the mouth of the Congo River from the 14th to 19th centuries. In the centre and east, the kingdoms of Luba and Lunda ruled from the 16th and 17th centuries to the 19th century. In the 1870s, just before the onset of the Scramble for Africa, European exploration of the Congo Basin was carried out, first led by Henry Morton Stanley under the sponsorship of King Leopold II of Belgium. Leopold formally acquired rights to the Congo territory at the Berlin Conference in 1885 and made the land his private property, naming it the Congo Free State. During the Free State, his colonial military unit, the Force Publique, forced the local population to produce rubber. From 1885 to 1908, millions of the Kongo people died as a consequence of disease and exploitation. In 1908, Belgium, despite initial reluctance, formally annexed the Free State, which became known as the Belgian Congo. The Belgian Congo achieved independence on 30 June 1960 under the name Republic of the Congo.. Conflict arose over the administration of the territory, which became known as the Congo Crisis. The provinces of Katanga and South Kasai attempted to secede.. On 25 November 1965, Army Chief of Staff Joseph-Desir Mobutu, who later renamed himself Mobutu Sese Seko , officially came into power through a coup d'tat. In 1971, he renamed the country Zaire. The country was run as a dictatorial one-party state, with his Popular Movement of the Revolution as the sole legal party. Mobutu's Government received considerable support from the United States, due to its anti-communist stance during the Cold War. By the early 1990s, Mobutu's government began to weaken. Destabilisation in the east resulting from the 1994 Rwandan genocide and disenfranchisement among the eastern Banyamulenge (Congolese Tutsi) population led to a 1996 invasion led by Tutsi FPR-ruled Rwanda, which began the First Congo War. On 17 May 1997, Laurent-Desire Kabila, a leader of Tutsi forces from the province of South Kivu, became President after Mobutu fled to Morocco, reverting the country's name to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Tensions between President Kabila and the Rwandan and Tutsi presence in the country led to the Second Congo War from 1998 to 2003. Ultimately, nine African countries and around twenty armed groups became involved in the war, that resulted in the deaths of 5.4 million people. The two wars devastated the country. President Laurent-Desire Kabila was assassinated by one of his bodyguards on 16 January 2001 and was succeeded eight days later as President by his son Joseph. The Democratic Republic of the Congo was extremely rich in natural resources but has had political instability, a lack of infrastructure, issues with corruption and centuries of both commercial and colonial extraction and exploitation with little holistic development. Besides the capital Kinshasa, the two next largest ities Lubumbashi and Mbuji-Maya were both mining communities. In 2016, DR Congo's level of human development was ranked 176th out of 187 countries by the Human Development Index. As of 2018, around 600,000 Congolese have fled to neighbouring countries from conflicts in the centre and east of the DRC. Two million children risk starvation, and the fighting has displaced 4.5 million people. Joyann actually was half Congolese herself being born near Kinshasa , her father being Congolese working there as a doctor. Her mother was American and her parents had met when he was studying medicine in Brooklyn USA where Joyann now lived Her father had fallen out with Mobutu and was seized by police in the middle of the night and executed in 1983 when Joyann was only 15. Her mother was left destitute and deported to the USA with Joyann When her mother arrived in the USA she had managed to find a job in a local primary school in Brooklyn as a dinner lady. They moved to one of the roughest neighbourhoods of all to Crown Heights a largely Black area. Crown Heights had a majority West Indian and African American population according to the 2010 census. Reflecting the most varied population of Caribbean immigrants outside the West Indies, Crown Heights was known for its annual West Indian Carnival. However, it was often the scene of gang violence. Joyann grew up to fight to survive. She began to be extremely tough herself. She excelled in all sports at school especially running and basketball. She began to develop a passion for fighting and loved to wrestle. As she began to take up karate and wrestling she soon began to win every fight beating up boys to a pulp especially. She ran a local gang the 'All Saintesses' that consisted exclusively of Black Girls that ran one neighbourhood and would use extreme violence on any other gang standing in its way, specializing in ripping faces up to shreds with razor blades something Joyann excelled in. She was soon known as 'Almighty Joyann' and no one would dare tangle with her not even the toughest criminal who knew she was an excellent fighter who was an expert in cutting up people's faces apart with the razor. She carried one at all times in her waist and was an expert in ripping out the eyes and noses of her victims She was also intellectually very bright sharing her father's passion for studying. She went to Harvard University after coming first in her class from her high school. She emerged with a first-class degree in Journalism She paid her own bills and tuition while at Harvard, and said it was a good learning and growing experience overall. She then pursued a brilliant career in journalism. She began her journalism career in 1997, leaving New York and her job at a business consulting firm to begin working in southern Florida. She was shifted to a new role[] as an MSNBC national correspondent. Since May 2016, she hosted 'AM Joyann', a political weekend-morning talk show on MSNBC, and became a frequent substitute for other MSNBC hosts,. Her morning show on Saturday averaged nearly 1 million weekly viewers. Yet her past experiences in gang fights had made her determined to use her incredible fighting martial arts and bodybuilding skills to for a good cause to destroy crime not only in Brooklyn where she lived but throughout the world and especially in her native Congo She had heard all about the Black Scorpions and decided to contact the Leader Ramona Sanders an Honorary Norselandic Citizen to join them. It was not long before she was contacted by Ramona and sent on her first Assignment to Norseland to deal with crime in Congo and to restore order there in conjunction with the Justice Leaugue. She sat back on her luxurious sofa waited on by Toki who had just brought her a huge pineapple juice. As she continued to read about the Congo the announcement came over the intercom. 'Fasten your seat belts!' 'WE ARE ABOUT TO LAND IN STEFANSHOM!!' Any comments please to Norselandic@hotmail.com
