CHRISTINE THE NORSE GIRL by Hamlet CHRISTINE AND MONIKA RESCUE STEPHEN FROM DANGER I was now cycling behind Christine as we were now in the outskirts of Flisborg heading for Volinge in the mountains 6 Kms to the north. We were cycling along the cycle lane that went besides all roads in this Nation as there were far more bicycles than cars and everything was done to take care of the safety and needs of cyclists .Along the road were telephone kiosks where any cyclist could ring for help if He/She had a puncture. Within a few minutes a Bicycle Officer(BO) would appear .Like all figures of authority in this Nation they were overwhelmingly Female .They wore tight black leather uniforms of a tight leather studded collar ,leather jacket, a steel cyclist's helmet ,skin tight leather shorts and calf length boots. They were experts at medical care and also could repair a puncture within a few seconds. If a cyclist was injured or too exhausted to travel the BO would organise a wagon to take Him/Her to the nearest town where they would be put on the train to go home. The BOs worked alongside the RTJs who patrolled the traffic as well as the trains and buses making sure that all cyclists behaved themselves and scrupulously observed the National Highway Rules that every Citizen who rode a bicycle or drove a car would have to learn by heart. As we were cycling along I saw one BO cycle past us. She had a name badge on BO Monika Ballbaaster. She cycled past Us revealing Her incredible physique and Her platinum blonde short hair .It was clear that She had been told by Judge Cynthia that we were in the area and that She was keeping a strict eye on us making sure also that I was not too exhausted and that medical care was available if I should ever collapse under the strain. I realised I would never keep, up with Christine as She was an excellent cyclist and excelled in cycle races winning at school every time just as She excelled in every other sport. It was just impossible to get anywhere near Her as we were now in the country itself .She would have to keep riding back to see how I was doing realising that I would never be able to keep up with Her As we were cycling outside. I could se the lovely houses and blocks of flats of the outskirts of Flisborg They all looked so clean and well maintained with their spotless whitewashed walls, their balconies and their red riled roofs. The gardens all looked so lovingly tended with their incredible profusion of tropical plants and flowers, palm trees. jacarandas, hibisci ,orchids all growing in abundance in the wonderful fertile soli this Nation. Almost every house had a large Norselandic flag outside and nearly every house had a portrait of The Queen Goddess outside. Each house had a wonderful view of the majestic Thorskull Mountains as they roe in splendour in the distance .As I gazed in them I though if only I could be a Norse Man! We were soon outside the town itself. As I looked to my right I could see the ski lifts. I could also see hundreds of skiers dressed in leather and rubber ski outfits go hurtling down the sides of the mountain at full speed. From what I could see they all looked so fearless and strong especially the Women. This looked like a sport I could never hope to learn as I knew I could never possess the skills and the agility of these Norselanders. We were soon outside the town and were on the cycle track surrounded by dense forests. Even though they were dense they still looked as if every centimetre was cared for. I noticed came sites and paths going into the forests with notices everywhere. As I cycled with Christine still going right ahead of me. I noticed a large sign written in English and Norselandic. HAVE A HAPPY TIME IN NATURE BUT OBEY THE LAW ANY INFRINGEMENT OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN THE SEVEREST COROPRAL PUNISHMENT BY ORDER SUSANNA SEXTON ROYAL MOUNTAIN JUDGE FLISBORG/VOLINGE AREA I realised this was a Nation where the Law had to be obeyed everywhere even in the remotest mountains .There was no escape from the almighty Law especially as every mountain tack there were CCTV cameras. Helicopters above and the RMJs and Mountain Officers (MOS) patrolling in bikes everywhere. I looked before me and the road almost went up the side of the mountain. Christine demonstrated Her amazing athletic skills by bounding up the mountain on Her bike with 20 gears as if they were nothing. Within a few minutes She was right up the side of the mountain bounding towards Volinge almost as fast as a motorbike. She left me far behind right at the end of the mountain nearly 3 KMs away. I put my bike in the lowest gear possible and tried my hardest to cycle up the mountain but it was to no avail. I could hardly move at all and eventually collapsed with total exhaustion sweat pouring down my face. I then looked above. I could see dark clouds suddenly appear above me The Thorskull Mountains were known to have the most terrible thunderstorms which involved driving rain and hail as they were so close to the Pacific Ocean Suddenly the clouds opened and rain came pouring down. I was now drenched and so cold as an icy wind came down from the Mountains falling right down upon me .I tried to ring Christine on my mobile phone but I could not see to dial the numbers. What was worse was that the phone slipped from my hand and fell into a puddle as I could see it going down the road that was fast turning into a torrent. My clothes were getting wetter I was shivering with cold in a strange country with no hope as I was incapable of walking up the road with my bicycle to reach Volinge. What was even worse was my fear of being attacked by one of the wild animals that abounded in the Mountains .There was almost every species known. Norseland as a country believed very seriously in conservation and would take away species such as the mountain tiger that were threatened with extinction and take then to a new habitat in the Thorskull or Gronskull Mountains where they would be tenderly cared for. The result was that parts of the Mountains had more animals than humans. There were warning signs everywhere to look out for dangerous animals put up by the RMJs and the MOs and if it was know that a mountain tiger was in a certain area that part of the Mountains would be fenced off by the RMJ/MOs and all entry forbidden. I was feeling so cold and desperate. I took refuge at a picnic site under a huge fir tree. I was shivering and in desperation began to cry as I heard the thunder overhead as the rain came down in what seemed like a ceaseless torrent. I looked above and saw a sign . PROHIBITED AREA Dangerous animals in area Entry forbidden totally By Order RMJ I began to be more afraid than ever as I sat there. I then heard a rustling sound. I looked up .It was a Norselandic grizzly bear one of the most feared animals in the world .It was known to be so strong it could take off a person's head with one single blow! Just as the bear was coming towards me a rock hit it right in the stomach. Another one hit it right in the eye; it screamed and ran straight into the woods. I looked behind and I could see Monika the BO followed by Christine running at full l sped towards the bear with steel sticks in Their hands ready to beat it to a pulp if necessary. They were both screaming the Valkyrie Yell to make it even more frightened. YIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!! The bear ran away at full speed petrified .It was quire clear that it would not dare attack if anyone stood up to it. Christine saw me drenched and shaking with the cold and fear She held me tightly putting Her whole hand down my crotch and giving me a long slow Welcome Kiss. I felt so elated as I could also feel the rain stop and sunshine appear on the horizon. 'I'm sorry I left you darling Stephen, it's just that I was getting so excited tearing up that mountain .I tried ringing you on your mobile but it doesn't work!' 'I'm sorry Madame Christine I lost it in the thunderstorm!' I said wailing my head resting on Her leather clad shoulder. Monika came up to me. 'I saw you in the distance Stephen as I followed you from Flisborg .In future Stephen if ever you're in trouble in the mountains again you must ring a RMJ or a MO or if you're a cyclist a BO on the phone cabins and help will come at once.' 'Thank you so much Madame Monika!' She too gave me a long slow Welcome Kiss and gave me a good feel down my crotch with Her leather gloved hand. 'Stephen I can see you are soaked and in danger of caching hyperthermia .I've arranged for MO Cricketa Roxgaard to come here with a Land Rover to take you to the RMJMOHQ in Volinge .She will strip you down and put you in pyjamas and put you to bed. You will need medical and psychiatric care which She can provide. You will be taken care of .Next time you ate in the Mountains and lose your mobile, you must ring for immediate assistance and stay away from all Prohibited Areas as being in a PA is an offence for which I could punish you' 'Is that absolutely clear?' 'YES BO BALLSBAASTER!' Any comments to Norseland@hotmail.com
