ZAPPED by GG Sara becomes a superwoman Duncan phoned while I was in the middle of a hard early morning workout in my home gym. He'd loaded up the 4x4 and could be round in an hour. I told him to make it two. I finished off and admired my 6'2" 180 lb blonde sun tanned goddess body in the full-length mirror. I always liked to look at myself when I was pumped up. It was my little reward for the hard work. After showering I pulled on some jeans, a check shirt and the heavy calf length lumberjack-type boots I had bought specially for this trip to the mountains. I glanced at myself in the bedroom mirror as I buckled a heavy leather belt. Wow! At least I look the part! Duncan was the outdoor expert though. He had been up to this lake quite a few times. There were a few log cabins you could rent, and nothing around for miles. You had to take everything with you - food, drink, bedding, etc. Lucky his 4x4 could take quite a bit of gear. I had one grip with my stuff in - we were only going for a week. He blasted the horn as he pulled up. I let him in and when he saw me a broad grin flashed on his face. 'Hey! Desperate Dan!' I gave him one of my withering looks. He was around six foot, 160 lb, slim and athletic but not a bodybuilder. The thick soles of the boots added to my height and I towered over him, menacingly, with my hands on my hips. He put his hands up as if I was pointing a gun. 'OK. OK. Sara. I like! Very nice. I'm glad to see you are taking this seriously. You look great!' 'Good!' I said, flatly, and greeted him the way I like to when nobody was looking - that is, I grabbed him under the armpits, lifted him off the floor, kissed him and put him down again. He was used to it now, but the first time I did it he freaked out! We had been good friends for about six months, but the sex thing hadn't happened. He knew about my bisexual leanings but I guess he was hopeful that something might happen on this trip. When I told him I was into women he told me he was into boots! I confessed I liked boots too - and leather - we got on quite well after that. If I checked the luggage I knew I would find a bumper pack of condoms. I dozed most of the time while he drove for what must have been five or six hours. I was jolted awake as we went over a pothole in a dirt track. 'Wow! Look at that scenery! Why didn't you wake me earlier? ' I snapped. Miles and miles of pine clad slopes. Distant snow covered peaks; a vivid blue lake to the left. It was breathtaking! ' Bout half an hour to go. Just up here we round a bend and you can see our lake.' He dropped a gear as we hit a small incline.' The log cabin was something out of a movie set, authentic looking - with a stone chimney. The windows were shuttered and the door was secured with a huge padlock. Duncan fiddled with the key. 'Shit!' He said, and kicked the door. 'Looks like they sent us the wrong key! Wait here.' He walked over to the other cabin, which was about fifty yards away and tried the key there. 'No joy.' He shouted on the way back. ' I reckon they've got new padlocks and sent me the old key. I recognise it from last year.' Why don't you phone them on the mobile and get them out here?' I asked. He laughed. 'The mobile might work from the top of that ridge, city girl. And that's an hour's drive. Then it's another five hours if they want to send someone. I guess I'll get the crowbar out and have a go at it.' I grabbed the padlock and pulled it. It was new, but the metal loop in the door was fairly rusty and corroded. I put my boot against the log wall and heaved, twisting the lock, and I saw the loop bending. Duncan burst out laughing again. 'Hey! Get real Sara! You haven't got a hope in ............' The loop snapped with a loud 'ting' and I fell backwards off the porch onto the grass. I got up and handed the lock to him, grinning. 'Shall we go in?' I said coolly. 'Shit!' he said, staring stupidly at the padlock. 'I think you've been overdoing those workouts a tad!' It took us an hour or so to unload and sort out the cabin. Then we went for a long walk, returning when it was almost dark. The new boots needed some breaking in, and they were hurting my feet quite a bit. I convinced Duncan that we would need to use both beds, and went out like a light as soon as my head hit the pillow. The air up here must do that. It was around 3 AM when I first heard it. I looked at the luminous dial of my watch. A strange whirring noise - not like a car or boat or helicopter. Duncan was snoring like a buzz saw, and the noise wasn't anything like that either. I decided not to wake him. I could take care of myself, and this needed investigating, since there was not supposed to be anything or anybody out here. I put my jeans and shirt on, and pulled on the cowboy boots I had packed since my feet were still sore from the other boots. I took the powerful torch from the table and slipped outside. It was a moonless night and pitch black; that is except for an eerie reddish glow coming from behind the cabin. The whirring stopped suddenly as I went around the back. 'Jesus Christ!' I shouted, and dropped the torch in shock. It was just hovering there, about twenty feet off the ground! It was as big as a bus, sort of oblong, and had a reddish colour; it glowed like piece of coal in a fire. 'Duncan!' I screamed as loud as I could. Before I could shout again, a blinding beam of light came from the thing and lit up the whole cabin. My body began to tingle like I was getting lots of little electric shocks. Then the whirring started again, much louder than before, and it just shot off into the sky, disappearing over the ridge. I must have passed out because the next thing I knew, I was lying on the ground with Duncan shaking me furiously. 'What the hell's going on? Are you alright?' he shouted. I groaned. 'Did you see it?' 'See what?' he replied. 'What are you doing out here?' 'The thing.' I snapped. 'The UFO or what ever it was. It zapped me.' He looked at me as if I was mad. 'I heard you scream, and that's it' he snapped back. 'You don't go wandering around out here at night! This is a wildlife reserve. The animals that come down to the lake to drink aren't your average domestic pets.' He helped me inside. I was really groggy and slumped myself down in the old armchair. I let him pull my boots off, and repeated the story. He didn't believe me. I felt as if I had double jet lag combined with a mega hangover so I wasn't going to argue and just got into bed, promising him that I wouldn't go outside again, and reassuring him that I was OK. When I came to, my watch still said 3 o'clock. I called out to Duncan who came in from the porch, fiddling with the torch. It didn't seem to work. 'Hey, what time is it?' 'Around mid day. I let you sleep. I think you must have hit your head when you fell. How are you feeling?' 'Great!' I said. I had never felt better. 'I'm as hungry as a grisly bear!' 'Better than being eaten by one!' he said. 'Steaks and all the trimmings coming right up! Barbecue style! We have to eat the fresh food first. Then it's the cans and what we catch.' We sat out on the porch and I ate enough for both of us then got some canned burgers out to cook after that. Duncan commented on my amazing appetite. 'I feel just fantastic! This mountain air suits me. You might be in luck later on!' I said giving him a wink. I was feeling unbelievably horny too! At this he came over and kissed me. I let him push his tongue into my mouth for a few seconds and then grabbed his shoulder to shove him off. He screamed terribly, giving me a shock. Then he stumbled backwards, clutching his shoulder as if he had been stabbed or shot. 'Don't be so silly!' I laughed; but he didn't seem to be play-acting. 'I know you're strong.' He hissed. 'No need to prove it like that. I don't mind admitting that hurt like hell! Even small injuries can be serious out here.' I was confused. I had just pushed him gently away! I decided he was making fun and just shrugged. My body felt as hard and pumped as I had ever known, and I realised that I had put the lumberjack boots on. They didn't hurt my feet a bit! 'Lets go for another walk.' I said. 'A long one!' I was bursting with energy. We set off along the edge of the lake and some way up, Duncan picked up a small rock and flung it as far as he could into the lake. 'We'll do some fishing later on.' The rock flew about thirty yards and splashed into the water. 'Ha. You wouldn't make the major league!' I joked, picking up a rock about six inches across. It must have weighed fifteen pounds. I threw it. It seemed to go half way across the lake. I was as surprised as he was. It made a huge splash about two hundred yards away. Duncan stood with his jaw hanging open. 'I don't believe that!' He muttered. 'I saw it but I don't believe it! How did you do that?' I shrugged again. I did seem to be charged up today. My body felt like steel! Something made my pick up another rock. I squeezed it, meaning to feel my forearm as I tensed up. There was a loud crack. The rock had fractured! Duncan stared at it, transfixed. I squeezed again, harder. It felt like crushing a sponge! The rock just disintegrated in my hand. I looked at the crumbled fragments and something seemed to click in my head. 'We're going back.' I said coldly, and walked off to the cabin. I had forgotten about the walk, and for some reason knew I had to get back and look for something; but I did not know what. I also felt, in that instant, that the power in my body was quite natural, and couldn't imagine being any weaker. I didn't care if Duncan was following as I headed off past the cabin to the 4x4. There was a large scale map of the area in the glove compartment. The car was locked but that didn't stop me. Duncan yelled as I grabbed the handle and ripped the driver's door right off! I found the map. He looked at the mangled door lying on the grass and moaned and cursed as I went into the cabin. I spread the map out on the bed and studied it. 'What the fuck's happening?' He screamed. I ignored him, searching the patterns and contours of the map. I knew I would recognise it when I saw it. 'Here!' I said triumphantly, tapping the map. 'About half a mile. Come on.' I marched out of the cabin, pushing him out of the door in front of me. He tripped and ended up sprawled on the porch. I picked him up by his belt. He weighed nothing! He kept pleading with me to tell him what was going on as we walked up the wooded slope behind he cabin. I couldn't tell him because I didn't know myself. We got to the place and I saw the huge boulder in a small clearing. 'This is it!' I shouted. He watched as I walked up to the boulder and felt its smooth surface. It was as big as the 4x4 and must have weighed many tons. Then he let out a startled cry as I gripped the bottom of it and rolled it over like it was a huge beachball. I had uncovered a square hole about four feet across and could see stairs leading down into a cavern of some sort. There was light down there! I descended the staircase, calling to Duncan to follow me. It was like a basement room of a house, and there was a huge screen at one end with some weird looking machines. On a crystal table in the middle of the room there was what looked like a pile of clothes. I went up to the screen and something made me pick up a strange helmet in front of it. When I put it on, my mind seemed to explode with sounds and images. The screen had burst into life. Duncan told me that I had been standing in front of the screen for two hours. All was clear now. I knew what was going to happen next but it startled him. The machines just seemed to melt and dissolve into liquid. There was nothing left but some stains on the floor. I went up to the table and started to undress. Then I saved time by ripping my shirt and jeans off like paper. The heavy boots went the same way and ended up as shreds of leather and rubber on the floor. I pointed to the clothes. 'Hand me that suit.' I ordered. Duncan scurried over to the crystal table and picked up the one-piece cat suit that was made out of a black fairly shiny material. 'It's made of metal!' He said. 'It's stiff and heavy.' I grabbed it from him. It felt soft and smooth like the finest leather and fitted me as if made to measure. Some kind of seam at the back did itself up like a magic zipper, and it covered me totally, following the contours of my muscles and breasts perfectly. I pointed to the table again. There was a pair of 3" heeled thigh length boots and some gauntlets, made out of the same material. He brought the boots over and I pulled them on. The costume felt great! I pulled on the gloves and bent and stretched every part of my steel body. The table began to melt like the machines and the whole room began to shake as if there was an earthquake. 'Time to go!' I shouted, grabbing him and carrying him up the stairs in a run. We watched as the whole clearing seemed to sink by six feet sending up a cloud of dust. I put him down and we walked back to the cabin. Duncan could not seem to take his eyes off my costume. He was probably completely mind-blown by what had happened and looked it! I could give him the explanation now, and my story was short and to the point. Whether he liked it or not, the Earth had been invaded - not by squadrons of UFOs, but by me. I was the conquering army. This would become more evident over the next few months. No tank or plane or regiment could stop me. I was completely invulnerable to anything this planet could boast. Even nuclear weapons could not hurt me, and would not even but a crease in the costume. I had six months to take over, and clear an area of 10,000 square miles around this place of all human life. Then the first settlers would arrive. The number of casualties in this war would be as high or low as the governments of the world wanted. I picked up the padlock from the table and crushed it like soft clay in my hand. I handed it to Duncan to make a point. 'It will be better if they co-operate!' THE END
