Middleweight Championship by G, GFlm@aol.com In their dressing room in the rear of the arena the combatants in tonight's main event had just begun to prepare for the fight of their life. The previous champion had just retired .His long rain ended a new champion must be crowned. The fight tonight would decide who that new champ would be. In her dressing room Ling Ma was on her stomach lying on the trainers table getting her pre-fight rub down. She was a second generation Vietnam- American she grew up in several foster homes, and boxing was her way to a better life. The name she used in the ring was "ONYX" like the black gemstone. The name matched her straight black silky smooth hair, and her beautiful black eyes. She was tall for an Asian 5ft11in,her 146lb body quite voluptuous her legs long and slender. The only hint of her Boxing career was her well-muscled arms and thick wrists. The pre-fight planing, and training were over now as she dressed for the fight. The outfit she chose was new she pulled on the shimmering silver pantyhose, shinny black tights the black patent leather boots, and silver boxing gloves. The ring jacket she wore was short and made of silver metallic fabric. She took one last look at her self in the mirror, checked her make-up, and smoothed her pantyhose it was now fight time. The other dressing held much the same activity the pre-fight rubdown the last minuet instructions the warm-up shadow boxing. The things that were happening in this dressing room were the same things that had been happening in every fighter's dressing room for a hundred years. His name was Eric "The Executioner" Spencer and he looked like a fitness model. The truth is he earned some of his huge income that way. He stood just over 6ft tall and weighted 157lbs.every inch a "Playgirl" centerfold. He believed he was the best at everything he did. The outfits he wears in the ring are custom made shorts of the best- imported silk, his boots handmade just for him. The attire for tonight made just for this fight. He watches himself dress as he pulls on his jock strap slides on his tight silk shorts and laces up his boots. He is all in gold with a gold metallic jacket, almost the exact opposite of his opponent. They enter the ring to loud cheers and applause everyone in the arena has his or her favorite fighter most of the members have large bets on one fighter or the other. As the introductions are made Eric and Onyx stare at each other, each thinking the other is in the way of victory and all that goes with it. The referee calls the fighters to center ring were she gives the instructions her last one is return to your corners and at the sound of the bell come out fighting. The bell rings and the fighters come at one another very slowly at first neither wants to be the first to make a mistake. They jab and hook, bob and weave each throwing a punch or two then covering up before the counter punch lands. The first several minuets of the round are fought this way. With just 40 seconds left in the round Eric lands a grazing right hand to Onyx's chin. The punch forces her back against the ropes Eric tries to land a hard body shot but Onyx is retreating and it does little damage. The round ends this way with Eric trying for a quick KO. In her corner her trainer is yelling at LING MA to be more careful or this fight will be over soon. Eric starts the second round trying to put a quick end to this fight he comes at Onyx throwing hay-makers knowing if just one lands he is the new Champion. For her part Onyx takes the advice of her trainer and carefully covers up. Onyx spends most of this round backing up trying to regain all her senses . During the rest period between rounds Eric "The Executioners" trainer tells him he has wasted a golden opportunity to end this fight by not slowing down and landing that one big punch. Round three is a different story Eric begins to use all his boxing skills. He jabs, and moves shoots a straight right follows with a double hook to the body and the head. Onyx back-peddles trying to cover and land her punches but Eric is a little to fast and a little too strong. The round progresses with Eric landing some good shots Onyx backing up covering and trying to land her own punches. The round goes this way till with just 40sec. remaining Eric traps her in her corner. The action brings the crowd to its feet he fires a left that crashes into her ribs, double hooks to the head and body then throws a hard right hand that lands not quite flush on her jaw. Onyx is stunned she feels control of her arms and legs leaving her, she begins to fall forward. Eric steps back as she collapses in front of him. The referee sends him to his corner as the count begins, ONE, TWO. Ling Ma is down on all fours, with glassy confused eyes she looks at the ref, and then to her corner, THREE, FOUR her trainer screams for her to get up. The count had reached seven before Onyx gets to her feet, the only thing saving her is the sound of the bell. Eric returns to his corner and smugly refuses to sit , he leans back against the turnbuckle and drapes his arms over the ropes. He knows he is in total control and needs no help from his corner people. The other corner is total chaos. Onyx is in deep trouble, her trainer tries to snap her back but it is almost impossible. The bell sounds for the next round with Onyx's trainer still giving her instructions. Rounds four and five are completely dominated by "The Executioner" he jabs and hooks, moves in to punch and out to defend. He seams content to completely dominate her with his boxing skill, believing he can knock her out at any time. Onyx is forced to take a standing eight count in both rounds. The fact that she survived both rounds is a testament to her physical ability and her fighting sprite. The rest between rounds is very short when you are behind in a fight, and in this fight Onyx is hopelessly behind. The knock down and the two standing eight counts have taken away any hope of winning by decision . The bell for the sixth round comes to soon. Onyx slowly rises of her stool, she is determined to finish all ten rounds of this fight. Her trainer tells her to move and grab to back and cover to take no chances. Her years as a fighter and a trainer have given her great insight, Eric is slowing down he has never been in a fight this long. She has seen his arms go limp at the end of the rounds, his breathing is heavy, and now he sits on his stool. The seventh sees both boxers slow to get up, Onyx seems to have recovered some what or maybe it is Eric slowing down. They come together in center ring, jabbing and bobbing, both being careful now. The turning point comes suddenly Eric moves in and shoots a big right hand that misses badly. This may be Onyx only opening, she ducks and counters with a right of her own. The punch lands on Eric's chest and knocks the wind out of him, her next shot is a hard left that smashes against his right eye. The swelling starts almost at once and the eye begins to close. The punch also sends Eric " The Executioner " falling backward flat on his back. Both Eric and his corner are stunned he has never been down before. The ref comes to him but Eric does not seem to know what to do all he knows is he is flat on his back but his arms and legs wont respond. He rolls over and gets to his knees, he is up by the count of seven. The ref wipes his gloves she asks him if he wants to continue he says yes but he almost does not believe his own words. Onyx comes to center ring Eric tries to meet her but his legs are rubbery his arms stiff and heavy, she jabs twice both land on his chin Eric staggers back trying to clinch. She is tired and has taken a lot of punishment but this may be her only chance. She fights out of Eric's grasp throws a right jab that lands flush, then she hooks to the body and follows with big right cross to the side of the head. Eric sees all the punches coming, but he is helpless to do anything but take them. The fury of her assault saps Eric's will to fight he is now a completely beaten boxer. Her last punch sends Eric " The Executioner " Spencer crashing to the mat His head bounces as it hits, golden boxing gloves now useless, he is out cold as the count reaches EIGHT, NINE, TEN "he's out"! The referee signals the end. The announcer tells the crowd what it already knows " THE WINNER and NEW CHAMPION ONYX
