It's 24 years since I started this web site in 1997! Now, this is one of the oldest and biggest sites on the internet. And we're staying up while the Covid-19 crisis runs, although all our staff are isolated and working from home.
I checked the site statistics that Sandra counts up each night.
At the end of December 2021, there were about 1,772,000 pictures (580 gigabytes), 619 gigabytes of video, 18704 text files (mostly stories) and a total of about 1200 gigabytes. There's 493,000,000 pictures altogether in Newsthumbs, increasing at about 1 million per month.
