Running fine. At the end of the year, I started a new server for the current newsthumbs, and rolled the existing stuff to the "Old Newsthumbs". There is now 17 years of archives.
One server needed a motherboard replacement. And I replaced a couple of the backup servers, with better servers. Although I'm hoping that they aren't needed; the main server has been running faultlessly for more than a year now.

I checked the site statistics that Sandra counts up each night.
At the end of December 2017, there were about 1,611,000 pictures (368 gigabytes), 548 gigabytes of video, 16890 text files (mostly stories) and a total of about 918 gigabytes. There's 496,000,000 pictures altogether in Newsthumbs, increasing at about 2 million per month.
