A few showers, but otherwise excellent weather this month.

A smell of burning ... that's never a good sign. It was an overheating UPS, and when I let it cool down and dismantled it, it turned out to be a battery issue. Easy to replace! Then I ventilated the room to get rid of the smell.

I checked the site statistics that Sandra counts up each night.
At the end of April 2010, there were about 1,190,000 pictures (175 gigabytes), 397 gigabytes of video, 12,900 text files (mostly stories) and a total of about 575 gigabytes. There's about 415 million pictures altogether in Newsthumbs, increasing at about 5 million per month.
