Suzie's job hunt By Dreadnaught She wrecks the bar once to often, and starts a new career as a fighter A sleepy Sunday night in a small town. The small bar was almost deserted, just a few regulars and a couple of out-of-towners drinking quietly, discussing the weather, keeping to themselves. The radio played country music in the background, which fit nicely with the bar's atmosphere. The wooden tables and chairs gave the place an authentic middle-of-the-boonies roadhouse aura, which of course it was. The regulars knew the seemingly dull bar had seen more than its fair share of action, but not tonight. Definitely the most fascinating part of the bar was its bored bartender. She sat with her feet up on the bar. The shiny black high heels encasing her feet made her long, sexy legs seem endless, and the tight black denim cutoffs she wore made no effort to hide those legs. Her breasts bulged appealingly under her sleeveless t-shirt, her biceps flexing with hidden power as she pulled her straight, shoulder-length brown hair back and tied it into a ponytail. Her beautiful face would have been the envy of any fashion model. She struggled to suppress a yawn as she flipped the page of the magazine she was reading. A couple of her customers had finished their drinking for the evening, and got up to leave. "'Night, Suzie," one of the men called over his shoulder. Suzie looked up from her magazine. "G'night guys," she answered. "Take it easy." They made their way to the door when it suddenly burst open. Two large men stood in the doorway menacingly, slowly entering the bar. They wore dingy, soiled denim outfits, their hair matted and unkempt, their faces sporting several days growth of beard. The taller man held tightly to a baseball bat, while the other brandished a length of thick metal chain. "Suzie!" the man with the bat snarled. Looking around at the few customers, he barked, "The rest of you, get the hell out unless you want to get trashed along with this fucking bar!" The sexy bartender sat bolt upright at the bar as she looked at the intruders. "Mike?" she asked in surprise. One of her departing customers came up to Mike. "Who do you guys think.. OOOMMPH!" he began, stopping abruptly as Mike jabbed him hard in the gut with his bat. The customer doubled over in agony and collapsed to his knees. "I said get out!!" Mike yelled as the badly winded man's friend helped him back up. Suzie quickly overcame her shock at the sudden intrusion and stood. "I think you all better do as he says," she calmly instructed. Her remaining customers wasted no time in filing out past the threatening men. She stood alone, facing her antagonists across the length of the roadhouse. "Well well, Mike and Dan," she said with a wry smile. "I thought I threw you two jerks out of here for good last time." The two men glared angrily at her, preparing their weapons as they approached her slowly. "You got lucky last time," Mike hissed. "I told you I ain't gonna let some babe throw me out of a bar. This time Dan and I are gonna hurt you real good, like we should have before." Suzie snickered as the men cautiously came closer. "Except you were drunk, right? I've heard that excuse before. Face it, guys. Last time I beat you both up so bad you didn't wake up till morning. This time, I'm gonna carry you both over to the jail when I'm done with you." She assumed a somewhat relaxed fighting stance to meet the men. "Like hell!" Mike snorted. "This time you ain't comin' out in one piece, Suzie. We're gonna fuck you up twice as bad as you did to us." Despite their bravado, their weapons and the fact they outnumbered her two to one, the men hesitated in their approach. They stopped a good few feet away from the girl, looking sideways at each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. Suzie noticed their apprehension and laughed out loud. "Well? C'mon guys, if you didn't wanna get hurt, you should have known not to come face me!" Having the girl laugh at them was too much for their egos to bear. Dan growled and charged at her, twirling the chain in his hands, preparing to bring it up and down on the bartender. Suzie met him by pivoting on one foot, kicking the other powerfully out to her side. Dan's progress forward was suddenly halted and reversed by Suzie's foot thudding into his chest. "Unnh!" The kick drove Dan back until he fell down onto a table. The wood splintered as he crashed back into it, the table legs splitting as he fell through to the floor. "Damn you!" Mike cursed, raising his bat high and charging. He brought it down with murderous force, exactly on the spot where Suzie was just a moment earlier. The bat smashed down hard onto the bar, sending glasses and bottles bouncing off of it to the floor, shattering loudly. But before he could bring the bat around for another strike, Suzie grabbed the business end of it with both strong hands. He pulled desparately, unable to loosen her grip on it, and unwilling to let go of it himself. "Unngh! Leggo!" he yelled as his best efforts had no effect. He found himself pulling with all his strength as the amazon smiled at him. "Okay, you asked for it," she said, releasing it as abruptly as she had grabbed it. Mike yelled as he found himself flying backwards, dropping to the floor as the bat sailed back, out of his grasp, across the bar. As he sprawled across the floor, the thought occurred to him to wonder exactly how strong Suzie was, that she could win that tug-of-war so easily. But his anger and humiliation, at the girl who had beaten him up before and was beginning to do so again, overrode his common sense. Dan scrambled to his feet as quickly as he could, the chain still clamped in his hand. He quickly got his bearings and prepared to swing his deadly weapon again, only to find Suzie launching herself at him in a flying tackle. He had no time to react or prepare himself before the amazon smashed into his midsection, knocking the wind out of him as they both dropped to the floor. "I see you haven't learned how to fight yet, Dan," Suzie smiled as she knelt over him, pulling his upper body off the floor with one hand while she wrapped the other into a fist and slammed a punch into his face. He cried in pain as her punch sent his head bouncing off the floor. His vision swam as she took the chain from his hand and stood. "I could break every link in this chain, but I want to have fun with you two first," she shrugged with a grin, and tossed the chain across the room. Mike angrily clambered back to his feet as Suzie came towards him. "Fuck, I ain't lettin' you do this to us again!" he roared, stepping up and swinging madly at Suzie's lovely face. She danced back, letting his punch swoosh by, inches away from its intended target. He closed in as she backstepped, avoiding a second punch. "Like you have a choice, Mike," the bartender said, blocking a third punch easily with a forearm. A quick punch to his gut practically sent Mike into convulsions as the wind exploded from his body. "You asked for it the minute you walked in here," Suzie told him, bringing her fist up and back. Whack, her punch landed on the side of his chin. He staggered back hard into the bar, shaking his head violently as he held himself up with the bar's help. Dan fought his way back to his feet, and reached for one of the wooden chairs, unwilling to face the amazing woman without a weapon of some sort. He fumbled the chair in his grasp and watched it tumble out of reach as Suzie kicked him hard in the stomach. The pointed toe of her black pump buried itself in his flabby gut, lifting his feet off the floor for a moment. Suzie smirked at Dan as he fought to recover from the powerful kick. "I'd have thought you guys would spend the last few months learning a few things about fighting.. guess not." As he came back up to face her, he saw her assume a boxing stance, one fist jabbing forward into his face. She jabbed him twice, both punches rocking his head viciously. Dan felt his knees weakening, blood beginning to seep from his nose. He stood helplessly before the amazon as she laughed contemptuously. "Good thing you came back here so I can teach you a few more things," Suzie teased, stepping up and grabbing his jacket, then bringing a foot up to his middle. He went with her as she fell back, her leg lifting the big man over her and sending him soaring, to fall hard onto his back near the bar with a loud grunt of pain. Suzie only had time to get up to her knees before Mike was on top of her, reaching down to grab her. But she reacted quickly, driving a hard punch into his stomach. "Ooooof!" he cried, bending around the punch. Suzie stood as he tried to regain his breath. "Y'know, I'm glad you guys came by.. it was pretty dull tonight." Lifting a shapely leg up high, the amazon snapped a lightning-quick kick to his face. Mike toppled back to the bar, his legs barely holding him up. "Kicking a couple of pathetic little geeks around always cheers me up." Mike shook his head violently and stood to face Suzie, only to be met with a quick punch to his jaw. He spun around sharply and sagged against the bar, stunned momentarily. The sexy amazon grabbed him with both hands, then displayed her impressive strength by lifting Mike off the floor, pushing him unceremoniously over the bar with ease. Mike cried in pain and flailed uselessly as he sent glasses and bottles flying. He crashed to the ground behind the bar on his head amidst the loud shattering of glass. Suzie whirled around just in time to see Dan almost on top of her. Blocking a wild punch with a raised forearm, the bartender slammed a punch to the man's stomach. "Oooompp!" Dan yelled, stumbling back, clenching his aching gut, wheezing frantically. Suzie grinned as she closed in on him. "I think you guys fought better when you were drunk.. want a few? Maybe then you'll give a girl a challenge." She laughed at him mercilessly. Dan's rage bubbled momentarily to the surface. "Damn you.. UUNHHH!" he groaned. Suzie interrupted him with a hard punch to his kidneys. He recoiled, his face grimacing in agony. "If I remember right, you had a weakness for my legs, didn't you, Dan? Let's see if you still do." Suzie stepped up, launching a shapely leg into a powerful high kick. At the high point of its arc, her foot smacked crisply into his face. Dan yelled in pain as the amazon's kick spun him around away from her, toppling him through another table, smashing it to bits. He came to rest in a pile of splintered wood, groaning helplessly. "Guess you do," Suzie smiled, watching the man twitch in agony as he lay face down. She went back to the bar and jumped up on it, bringing her legs up over the bar as Mike climbed to his feet. He came up to see the long-legged bartender sitting in front of him on the bar, swinging to face him. Before he could do anything more than move towards her, she kicked one leg straight into his chest, the sole of her shoe landing with a thud. Mike grunted and fell back, right into the wall and the many bottles stacked along it. They fell loudly as his considerable weight combined with the considerable power of Suzie's kick. Glass shattered and clattered as Mike slumped down to sit on the floor, amidst the spilled booze and broken glass. "You better lick some of that off the floor, Mike," the amazon teased. "They won't be serving drinks where I'm going to put you." Both of her opponents struggled against the pain Suzie had given them as she swung her legs back around to the other side of the bar, crossing them flirtatiously as she watched them try to fumble their way back up. "Didn't you guys figure out last time you can't handle a girl? I wound up knocking out half the bar last time you guys tried me. What do you two think you could do to me by yourselves? Make me break a fingernail, maybe?" Dan painfully worked his way to his feet, grabbing a wooden chair as Suzie hopped down off the bar. He stumbled towards her, hefting the chair with some trouble. "That's it, Dan.. you better get something heavy to use on the big, bad woman. You might be smarter than I thought." He swung the chair down on where he thought Suzie was, only to hit the bar, breaking the chair legs. "Then again, probably not," she smirked, throwing a playful-looking punch to his jaw. Whack, the punch rocked his head and seemed to freeze him in place for her followup, a harder punch with her other fist. Her punch landed to the other side of his face and sent him tumbling back to the foot of the bar, while the chair dropped uselessly to the floor. Dan lay nursing his aching jaw dazedly, wincing at the rapidly forming bruises that covered his face. Suzie again hopped up on the bar, bringing her legs over and standing over Mike. Helping him roughly to his feet, she took him firmly by the back of his jacket and jeans with both hands. "I think I want you on the other side now, Mike." He cried uselessly as the sexy bartender again showed her amazing strength, her musculature bulging as she shoved the man towards the bar and sent him spilling over it. He sprawled helplessly, grunting loudly as he again found himself landing on his head, sending barstools toppling to the floor along with him. He rolled over and looked in utter shock at Suzie, marvelling at the obvious power and strength housed in that supple, seductive feminine body. Suzie smiled as she vaulted over the bar with the precision and grace of a gymnast. She stood waiting, her hands on her hips, as the two men apprehensively stood, considering their situation. "Awww, big tough guys don't wanna fight the little girl no more?" The teasing tone and sarcastic pout on her lips emphasized her contempt. "C'mon guys, maybe if you both jump me at once, you might stand a chance." Dan and Mike looked hesitantly at each other, taking into consideration the vivid bruises both had on their faces, the dribbles of blood here and there, the pain the powerful fighting woman had caused them.. "Well?! C'mon, are we fighting or not? Or do you two want to run away from a girl?" That clinched it. Both men leapt at her simultaneously. Suzie kicked out hard to her side, burying her foot in Dan's gut. Dan bent around her sexy black pump and stumbled back, gagging, as Mike threw a looping punch at her face. She ducked under it and lifted her knee powerfully into his midsection as she came back up, blasting the wind out of him and almost knocking him to his knees. "That's better.. I'm still gonna knock you both cold, but at least now you can say you gave the girl a bit of a fight before she punched your lights out." Grabbing Mike's jacket in her right hand, she pulled her left back and wound up, throwing a solid punch to his face. Suzie's fist landed with a crack and spun Mike around, sending him crashing down through a table. She turned to face Dan's charge, surprising him by grabbing his jacket as he prepared a punch and jumping up, putting both feet against his hips. He screamed uselessly as he overbalanced and fell with her, her powerful, sexy legs sending him soaring as her back hit the floor and she flipped him overhead. Dan flew a fair distance before smashing yet another table into kindling. Suzie was quickly back on her feet, gleefully examining the two beaten men. "Still think you have a chance, guys? Believe me, you don't. I've had to fight a lot of men down here. You two aren't even making me work up a sweat." Mike and Dan groaned and gasped, trying to regain some of the strength the amazon had pounded out of them. "It's just like last time.. I'm just playing with you two. I want you guys to hurt. I want to see how long it takes you to figure out you're fighting a girl and losing so badly you don't stand a chance. I love that," Suzie taunted as her two opponents struggled feebly to their feet. Suzie walked over to Dan, watching him stumble back upright, slivers of wood falling off him and crunching under his feet as he stood. He turned to face her, and the beautiful amazon promptly snapped her foot up into his face. "Unnhh!" Suzie's kick snapped Dan's head back viciously, but he managed to stay on his feet, barely. His head swam as he battled against the pain. "You sure look like you're hurting, Dan.. are you?" Suzie kicked him once more, her foot slamming hard right underneath his ribcage. Dan cried loudly and almost crumpled under her withering attack. "I guess you are," she smiled. "Oops, stay put." Mike was busy staggering towards the door, his only escape from the humiliating certainty of being knocked out by the amazon again. "Leaving so soon, Mike?" Suzie had quickly caught up to the beaten man. One firm female hand clamped down on his shoulder, her other coming down hard on the base of his neck in a devastating chop. He grunted and almost collapsed, only being held up by Suzie's firm grasp. She spun him around to face her. "Don't tell me you're afraid of a girl, are you, tough guy?" Suzie punctuated her question by ramming her fist into his gut. Mike fell to one knee, gasping and sputtering from the amazon's blow. "Nah, you wouldn't be afraid.. you're a man. No way a girl could beat up a big strong guy like you, is there?" Her teasing laughter echoed around the bar. Then Dan was on top of her, wrapping his thick arm around her neck from behind, trying to catch her arms with the other. He tried crushing her neck with all the strength he had left, which wasn't all that much. Not enough to have any noticeable effect. "C'mon Dan, give me a break. My kid sister is stronger than you." Mike vainly struggled his way back to his feet, only to watch as Suzie reached up and took Dan's arm in her hands. The muscles in her arms flexed impressively, bulging with power as she easily pulled Dan's arm away from her neck, stretching it out in front of her. Then she pulled and bent forward, using her amazon strength to flip Dan over her shoulder, sending him flying right into Mike. The two men grunted and cried in pain as they fell back, down through another table, smashing it loudly. They lay next to each other, neither of them especially eager to get up and resume the fight, nor really capable of it at this point. Suzie stood over them, smiling delightedly as the men lay exhausted and beaten at her feet. "Fun, huh guys? Nothing like beating a few guys so bad they can't stand up, I'd say." Her enthusiasm was lost on Mike and Dan. They lay groaning, barely moving. She walked up and prodded Mike with the toe of her shoe. "C'mon Mike, I don't want to wait all night for you two to get up. I wanna have time for something else once I put you both out." Mike rolled over, trying desperately to climb to his hands and knees. He managed to blurt out a few pained words. "Unnngh.. fuck you, bit.." Before he could finish the word, Suzie had grabbed him and yanked him to his feet as though he were a rag doll. "You really shouldn't have said that," she told him. Mike drunkenly bobbled on his feet, managing to make a fist and bring it back for a punch. Whack. Mike's lip began to bleed as the bartender landed a beautiful punch to his face. He stumbled a step back, his legs barely holding him up. "I hope you talk in your sleep, Mike.. I want you to tell everyone in jail about the babe who k.o.'ed you," Suzie grinned, then hauled off for a titanic final punch. Her fist slammed into his face with a loud crack, her punch spinning him around and blasting him down through a table near the door. He came to a rest in a heap of broken wood, knocked senseless. Dan was on his knees when Suzie approached him. His eyes wide with terror at the awesome woman who'd just knocked his friend unconscious, he pleaded and tried to climb to his feet to escape her. "Please, Suzie, don't hurt me anymore! Coming down here to fight you was Mike's idea! He made me do it!" She interrupted him with a sharp kick to his stomach. Dan cried out and bent around the kick. "Just keep looking at my legs, Dan, like you always did," she instructed him with a chuckle. "I want them to be the last things you see before I put you away." The amazon brought a long, attractive leg up in front of the man, her foot bobbing back and forth before his face, like a cobra waiting to strike. He stared at it, hypnotized. "You never could take your eyes off them." Suzie's foot moved in a blur, landing two swift kicks to his face before he could move. He staggered back, feeling his strength drain from him, helpless before her incredible strength and fighting power. The last thing Dan saw before he slept were Suzie's long, wonderful legs. His eyes ran every inch of them, from the shiny pointed toe of her high heels, up the smooth, tanned skin of her calves and thighs to where they disappeared under her tight, revealing cutoffs. Despite the terrible pain she'd inflicted on him, he felt arousal building inside him, until she broke the trance. "Maybe dreaming about my legs will get you through your jail time.. g'night, Dan." He watched helplessly as she gave a little leap, one seductive leg soaring high, her foot soaring gracefully up towards his chin.. Suzie's powerful kick sent her foot straight up into Dan's chin, practically kicking his head off his neck. His head shot savagely back, the strength behind her kick lifting him off the floor to fall back into one of the few remaining intact tables, which collapsed under his dead weight. He was quite unconscious before he even hit the table. Suzie looked with satisfaction down at the two unconscious men. She found a great deal of satisfaction in knocking men like these two out, men who were convinced of their own greatness, who never thought a woman could beat them physically. She loved the rush she got from feeling every punch and kick she'd land cause them pain and humiliation. She loved the total disbelief they'd express before she knocked them out. She loved it too much at times, she thought. She found a lot of times she needed to use tremendous restraint to keep herself from picking fights with male customers who'd say the wrong things, or look at her too intensely.. "Oh no, Suzie.." a voice suddenly came from the door, interrupting her train of thought. Suzie whirled on the source, prepared for a new challenge. A short, middle-aged woman stood in the door, stepping in hesitantly. Suzie relaxed and sighed as she recognized Marge, one of the bar's owners. "Marge.. sorry, these guys wanted to play." "So I heard. One of the regulars gave me a call, so I came as fast as I could." Marge grumbled lightly as she walked slowly into the bar. "Jesus, Suzie, I think you outdid yourself this time. Were you fighting a whole motorcycle gang, or what?" For the first time since the fight had started, Suzie took a good look around the bar. Dan and Mike were covered with bruises and trickles of blood from damaged noses and cracked lips. They'd hurt like hell when they woke up, Suzie smiled to herself. Then she noticed what Marge must have seen when she walked in. Smashed furniture littered the entire place. There were perhaps four tables which didn't get smashed in the brawl. Behind the bar there were no bottles intact. Glass lay scattered on the bar, and the bar itself bore scars of chair impacts. I guess I did get a bit carried away, Suzie thought. "No, the gangs are smart enough to leave me alone, Marge. These two are old friends." Suzie found herself stumbling a bit on the words. Of the two owners of the roadhouse, Marge was the one Suzie actually had respect for. Marge had worked here a long time, saving and scrimping until she could actually take over the place, at least in part. She was the one who'd hired the amazon bartender. The co-owner was a fat drunk, a man who'd drank most of the bar's profits. Marge looked downcast. "Suzie, why is it every time your old friends come here, the place looks like a disaster area?" Marge sighed and sat down heavily in one of the remaining undamaged chairs. "Every time someone takes a swing at someone else in here, we have to replace all the furniture and carry the poor guys out on stretchers." Suzie rolled her eyes skywards, finding herself once more in a familiar argument. "C'mon Marge, you know you hired me because I can fight. It's not my fault if these guys can't handle getting beat up by a girl." "Yeah, I know, I know. I hired you because you bring in the guys, and you can handle them when they get out of hand. I just wish you'd listen to me and take it outside. Do you have any idea how often we've had to renovate this place since you started?" Suzie turned one of the barstools back upright and perched on it. "I know, but look, Marge.. when I have a bunch of guys swinging at me and I'm busy punching them around, I don't think they'd listen if I ask them to step outside. It just happens, and I always handle them, don't I?" "Yeah, you do.. I'll give you that, you're the best fighter I've ever seen 'round these parts, Suzie." The amazon smiled. "And you'd figure these guys would learn they don't stand a chance.." "That's the way these guys work, Marge. They never learn. They always convince themselves that I got in a lucky punch, or they were too drunk to fight, or they were so drunk they imagined the whole thing.. so they come back, and I knock them out all over again." "Mmph." Marge looked disgustedly at Suzie's unconscious opponents. "So what was these guys' story? Were they drunk?" "No, this time they were sober. Last time they were drunk when I threw them out, and they tried taking a swing at me. Then a few other guys tried jumping in to help them.. so I put these two away and dealt with the others. They disappeared for a while, but I guess they couldn't deal with what I did to them.." "Men are funny like that. They hate being upstaged by a woman at anything, never mind a fight." "Right, right. So they came down tonight to teach me a lesson." Suzie began to laugh derisively. "They fought like marshmallows. All they taught me was that there's no men in this town who would stand a chance fighting me." Marge examined the two beaten men for a moment. "Yeah.. remember the time those two guys tried robbing the place?" Suzie laughed at the memory. "Yeah, those two were almost as bad as these goons. I still remember having to identify them for the cops the next morning. They almost killed themselves trying to get away from the girl who'd beat the crap out of them! I'm gonna do the same for these guys, too. I'll drop 'em off at the jail for tonight, at least." She stood and made her way to where Dan was lying. "Suzie.. there's something you need to know," Marge said hesitantly. "What?" "We.. we can't afford to pay to get this place fixed up anymore." Marge sighed heavily. "What?? I didn't think this was a problem, Marge. It never has been before!" "I know, Suzie.. but it costs a lot to maintain a bar, and every time you get into a fight the place gets wrecked. We'll have to close now, at least for a while. I can't afford to fix it right now." "Shit." Suzie frowned, both at herself and at the circumstances. "So what do we do now?" "Well, we're out of work, for now. I'm gonna see if I can get a loan from somewhere, but until I can, this bar is closed." "Damn, I don't want to sit around doing nothing. I want to work." "You mean you want to fight," Marge smirked. Suzie stared at her for a second, then slowly broke into an affirming grin. "Well, I can't use you in a closed bar. Maybe you can get a temporary job with one of the other places in town." "Okay," Suzie nodded. She bent and took Dan's arm, lifting the dead weight of his unconscious body to his feet. She then put one strong arm under his shoulders and the other under his knees, lifting the big man as if he were a child. His head drooped as the sexy amazon carried him with ease towards the door. She winked knowingly at Marge. "Meantime I'm gonna drop the trash off for the night. Seeya." "Suzie?!" The gaunt, bearded man's jaw hung as he faced her. "You're tellin' me you came here for a job?" "That's right, Zeke," she said with a sigh. Zeke still looked like he'd seen a ghost as he faced the shapely brunette. "Just something for a few weeks, that's all I'm asking." Zeke overcame his shock, and brusquely moved back behind his bar. His place was small, much smaller than the bar Suzie had been working at. This place was more like a hole-in-the-wall than anything else. "Yeah, I heard what happened at your old place," Zeke growled. "Ain't no way I'm lettin' you do the same here! I run a decent bar!" "Oh, c'mon, Zeke! Like you never had any fights down here!" "Okay okay, we get some trouble now an' then, but they don't wreck the damn bar every weekend!" Suzie fixed Zeke with a desperate look. "C'mon, you know that's not what was going on. Look, all I want to do is work. Is that so much to ask? Just until Marge can afford to put the old place back together." She leaned forward on the bar, exposing a decent amount of cleavage, smiling slyly at Zeke. "Don't you think your customers would appreciate having something nice to look at down here?" Zeke gaped for a second, captivated by the sexy sight she had placed before him.. then he thought for another moment, and shook his head violently. "No! No way! You got yerself too much of a reputation in this town, Suzie!" She groaned and sat back heavily on one of his barstools while he continued. "Everyone knows you attract trouble like flies 'round here! I heard about all the fightin' that goes on at Marge's. It's the roughest place in town, and what do I keep hearin'? All about the barmaid who keeps finishin' all the fights. Half of 'em she starts herself. Dozens of guys knocked out, an' most of 'em lookin' to get back at the babe that did it to 'em. An' you want to work here?? No way. I can't afford to have all the guys you got lookin' to fight you come down here." "Look.. Zeke, I never started any of those fights." "But you were in 'em, weren't ya?" Suzie sighed guiltily. "'Course I was. I had to.." "Ya had to fight 'em? What for? Just to show them guys you're tougher than them? Just for kicks? No, Suzie, I ain't havin' you do that here in my place." Suzie started to argue the point, then thought again and changed her point. "Dammit Zeke, I can't get a job in any of the bars around here! What the hell am I supposed to do?" "I dunno, try goin' to the city. There's tons of bars there. Some of 'em are even rougher than Marge's. Or so I hear." The amazon stood, standing before the skinny bartender for a moment. She looked down and contemplated her fist, wondering how much damage it would do if she slammed it into the smug man's face. Then she turned resignedly and walked out. The next day Suzie got in the car and drove to the city. During the hour she spent driving she lost herself in thought. Maybe Zeke was right. All the time she'd spent tending bar, there were always men wanting to fight. One of the first times she'd wrecked the bar in a fight was when a couple of limpdicks tried to rob the place. She'd had so much fun knocking them out she hadn't even thought to notice what a mess she'd made of the place.. that happened every time. Watching the horror and embarassment on the face of a big, strong, arrogant man as a member of the "weaker" sex beat him so bad he couldn't see straight was a real rush for Suzie, so much so that she'd focus on the fight and humiliating her male opponents to the expense of all else around her, especially the bar furniture. Still, Marge seemed pleased at having the robbery foiled, even if the place had been trashed. She'd gotten a good laugh at the two pathetic men, who'd had to admit to the cops that they had indeed tried to rob the bar and wound up getting beat up by the barmaid. For a little while they tried to make up a story about getting jumped by the other customers in the bar, but Suzie had been more than happy to point out that since the bar was closed, everyone had gone home. Turning bright red with embarassment, they'd had to acknowledge that Suzie was telling the truth, that the well-built bartender had beaten them by herself. Suzie had never seen Marge laugh so hard in her life as she did as those two. At least those guys had been so embarassed they didn't come back for round two once they'd gotten out of jail. But in the times after that, Marge had stopped laughing. It wasn't always possible for Suzie to steer the fights she'd gotten into in the bar outside. One time a couple of guys heard about the robbery and challenged her there and then to go at it. She managed to talk them into coming back after she closed the bar and k.o.'ed the two arrogant men then, leaving them lying in the trash cans outside the bar to sleep it off. Marge didn't mind that. Another time a fight had broken out between four drunken truckers. If they'd expected to be allowed to fight it out among themselves, they were mistaken. Suzie immediately jumped in, naturally. Once the dust died down, she was left standing in a wrecked bar with four unconscious men. After that, she found a lot of the men she'd beaten coming back for revenge. Men had such fragile egos. Sometimes guys would hear about the amazing fighting female bartender and come to see her for themselves. One night she'd been trying to serve some customers when some drunk man she'd never seen spun her around and tried taking a swing at her, no warning or anything. Later he'd say he'd heard about her and didn't believe it, so he had to find out. But he'd ended up having to say that considerably later, as he'd been out cold until the middle of the next day once Suzie had finished with him.. and his two friends. Another trashed bar. It was about this point that Marge had started looking unhappy.. Suzie didn't really consider it her fault. Men like to think they're the strongest individuals in the world, and they resent having anyone tell them otherwise. Especially a young, attractive woman. And when she'd prove her superiority, that smashed a lot of egos. So they'd dream up some lame excuse, and come back for more, and Suzie would knock them flat all over again. And she loved it. The more a man would boast about his strength or how many fights he'd been in and won, the more Suzie would enjoy beating him. And when they'd refuse to accept their defeat and dismiss it as a fluke, that made it even better. Smashing them with her fists and feet, using her stupendous, well-muscled body to turn their arrogance into pain and fear was the most thrilling thing Suzie knew in life. And it was so easy, since none of the men she'd ever fought seemed to be able to accept that a sexy young woman could do that to them, so Suzie had a mental advantage right from the minute the fists started flying. She'd had yet to lose a fight to a man, and it wasn't her fault if none of them could face that reality. Marge had known Suzie could fight. In fact, she said outright to Suzie, "If you want to work here, you'd better be able to handle yourself in a fight, 'cause we get a lot in here." Suzie had assured her she could do better than just handle herself, but she didn't really have to assure Marge, who'd known her for a long time. Marge had watched Suzie over the years, from her early years as a tough tomboy, every bit as prepared to use her fists as any of the boys around her. As the years passed, Suzie had become more and more feminine, developing into an undeniably beautiful and shapely young woman, but never completely losing her fighter's edge. She'd taken and become an exceptional dancer, very flexible, lithe and graceful. She'd added considerable muscle thanks to dance, but never become chunky, the muscle instead emphasizing her female curves and making her all but irresistible. More importantly she'd learned how to utilize dance in improving her fighting techniques, and Suzie could soon use her long, alluring legs to drop any man with well-aimed kicks. She was as good as any man in a fight, better, and she'd had several chances to demonstrate this in the rough town. Marge knew this. That's why she'd hired Suzie. Perhaps what Marge had underestimated was Suzie's huge appetite for demonstrating her fighting skills. She would think about the fights she'd been in, the overwhelming feeling of power as a well-placed punch or kick would drive a cocky man down and out for the night. Cocky until she'd changed his mind, that is. Those feelings of power excited her like nothing else. She lived for those fights. It would be even more exciting when she would stretch the fight out, like she did with most of the fights in the bar. Most of the men she'd met, she could have k.o.'ed very quickly, but she'd prolong the end, play with the helpless men, just landing enough damage to keep them hurt, not blow them away straight off. And while they were suffering she'd accentuate her very feminine body, posing seductively, letting the men know for certain they were being outfought by a woman, and exactly how little they could do to stop her. She would tease them mercilessly, letting them know how little effort she'd be putting into the fight, totally humiliating them, and then when she knew for certain they couldn't go on, having beaten them mentally and physically, she would knock the men out. And just thinking about this was getting her excited as she drove. She kept it under control with considerable effort. Suzie reluctantly acknowledged to herself that Zeke had been right. She had started more than a few fights herself, just for the excitement. She remembered cutting off a group of men one night just to provoke them. When they demanded more drinks, she grabbed one and began leading him to the door, knowing he was just drunk enough to argue. He did, trying to shove her away, and after that the fight started pretty quickly. Suzie had enjoyed that fight so much she'd been kind enough afterwards to let the three men sleep off her beatings in Marge's office. They'd been perfect. Arrogant young men from out of town, drunk enough to think they could bully the bartender babe into giving them more booze, the same babe they'd been trying to sweet-talk all evening, the same babe who happily knocked them all cold. Marge had been annoyed about that, but tried to be understanding. Maybe she did understand, Suzie never really knew. But she did know Zeke was right, that fight and all the others had earned Suzie a reputation in the small town, one she'd never be able to escape there. She gladly carried the reputation, but it wasn't putting money in her pocket. You didn't get paid to fight there, you got paid to tend bar. Suzie snapped back to reality as she began to enter the outskirts of the city. She decided to head for downtown first, then work her way out, if she had to. As it turned out, she did have to. So far she had been to three different bars downtown with no luck. The first she had tried was a huge, university student hangout. The owner seemed sincere enough when he told her that he had enough people to work the place. All his employees were experienced professionals who he knew he could count on to handle the bar's enormous load on weekend nights. The second bar she had tried gave her a similar story, only the owner had made the lefthanded implication that he couldn't really afford the luxury of having someone whose only experience was working a sleepy roadhouse in the middle of nowhere. Pissed off, Suzie only managed to keep from decking him with tremendous amounts of self-control. She decided then that perhaps a change of strategy was needed here. She made sure to steer the owner of the next bar she applied at over to the bar to chat, where she perched on a barstool, giving him an ample display of long, seductive leg, a few tantalizing glimpses of deep, inviting cleavage, and several dozen sweet, enticing smiles, along with a couple of winks for good measure. The owner twinged noticeably as they spoke, embarassingly trying to somehow find a way to hide the bulge in his pants, hesitated constantly as his eyes drank her sexy shape in, but in the end he somehow turned her down as well. Although if she'd be kind enough to give him her number and/or show up after the bar closed, he'd be happy to see what he could do for her, he announced with a wink. Sighing with exasperation, Suzie went back to her car. She drove around a bit more before finding a large casino. She'd been a bit reluctant to try anyplace like this, knowing that fancy places like this always made their employees wear some sort of degrading uniform. She preferred a less formal atmosphere, but considering the luck she was having so far, she may as well try, at least. Corny name, she thought as she parked and walked up to the building. The Den, it was called. She looked around as she entered. Considering it was early afternoon on a weekday, the place was fairly busy. It seemed huge to her. The bar was about twice as long as the one she was used to. She groaned out loud as she saw the uniforms on the waitresses and bartender, but decided she could live with it if she had to. She began to walk down to the bar to ask to see the owner. "Excuse me, Miss.. Miss?" Suzie turned around to see a rather large blond-haired man by the door speaking in her direction as he hurried to follow her. He wore an impeccable tuxedo, similar to the uniforms the other employees wore. His jacket hing from the back of the chair he'd been sitting on. "Yeah?" Suzie answered. "I'm sorry, Miss, you can't come in here.." "What? Why not?" "We have a dress code here, Miss. I can't let you in." Suzie took a moment to look herself over, making sure the bouncer's eyes followed her own. The plunging neckline of her t- shirt enhanced the smooth curves of her full breasts, while solid, tight abs were revealed under where she had tied the shirt. Her short cut-offs exposed almost the full length of her shapely legs, which ended in a pair of black, 2-inch heeled pumps. "Why, you don't like the way I'm dressed?" she asked with a sly smile. The bouncer shifted uneasily as he looked over the sexy girl appreciatively. "Well, uh.. no, it's just that.." "Then don't worry about it." She turned and began to make her way swiftly towards the bar again. "No, Miss, please," he called, following as quickly as he could. "I just can't let you in the way you're dressed, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." Suzie turned back on him with annoyance. "Look, I'm not going to stay, I just want to see the owner." "I'm afraid you can't, he's very busy. Now, please, Miss, if you'll come with me.." Suzie's temper began to fray as she snorted at the man. "He can't take a minute to see me? Give me a break." "If you come back at another time, properly dressed.." he emphasized, ".. I'm sure he'll make time for you.." "Look, I've come a hell of a long way. I want to speak to him now, I don't have time to play around." Suzie looked around, noticing a wide hall near the bar leading to the back. "I'll bet his office is down there.." "Miss!" the bouncer tried to bark as he summoned some authority into his voice. "I must ask you to leave, now. I don't want to have to make you leave." The amazon chuckled at him. "Yeah right, like you even could." She raised a hand and gave him a shove in his chest, then turned and strode off down the hall as the man stumbled back a couple of steps. She heard him running after her. "You're leaving NOW!" he commanded, and she felt his hand clamp down on her shoulder. She smiled to herself. Took you long enough, she thought. Spinning around with lightning speed, she buried her fist deep into the bouncer's gut. "OOOMP!" he cried. A teasing grin crossed her face as he wheezed in shock at the girl's powerful punch. "Didn't you know you shouldn't stand in the way of a determined woman?" Whack, Suzie landed a quick left cross to the astounded bouncer's face. He stumbled back against the wall, grunting in pain and surprise. Suzie glanced back towards the bar, noticing a number of people quickly forming at the initial sounds of the fight, watching in amazement. She always did like an audience. She came up and kicked the bouncer hard in the stomach. He bent deep around the pointed toe of her shoe, and she quickly grabbed him with both hands. "I'll make this quick, tough guy." Pulling him bodily across the corridor, she slammed him face first into the wall. He groaned in agony, and practically seemed to wilt in her grasp. "After all, I still want to talk to your boss." Shifting her grip, she lifted him under his arm and flipped him neatly. He landed flat on his back further down the hall and lay there, struggling against the pain and his shock and the devastating attacks out of nowhere. Meanwhile, the crowd watching the fight had grown, only to be pushed aside as another large tuxedoed man came through. The second bouncer stood and watched Suzie flip the first bouncer, then wasted no time in charging her. She turned and met his charge, grinning delightedly as she ducked quickly down under a powerful swing. "The more the merrier," she laughed, slamming a punch into the man's kidneys. He yelled in pain and bent in two, and the amazon quickly raised her knee up hard into his face. The bouncer dropped like a rock, laying on his back staring up at the ceiling as he tried to recover. The first bouncer staggered unsteadily to his feet, still in shock as the powerful woman approached him. "What the hell..?!" he managed to blurt out before Suzie's fist caught him in the face. He staggered back as she smiled. "What's the matter, you never had to fight a girl before?" Stepping up, she shot a punch into his gut, then drove a strong chop down to the base of his neck as he bent around the punch. The blows rocked him badly, but he somehow stayed upright. Suzie had noticed the second bouncer getting back up behind her, and timed him as he charged, waiting until the precise moment when he was in range. She then bent forward at her waist, bringing her hands down for balance as she kicked straight out behind her. Thud. The sole of her shoe landed almost precisely in the middle of the second bouncer's chest. The mule kick reversed his charge and sent him back down to the floor with a grunt. Coming back up and lowering that leg to the floor, she raised herself up on her toes and brought her other leg up into a powerful high kick to the first bouncer's chin. Her foot spun him around and sent him careening off the wall to the floor, shouting in pain. The watching crowd gasped and gaped at the amazon working the two men over, but no one interfered. Suzie quickly spun around and engaged her second opponent. "C'mon wimp, I'm in a hurry." She raised her fists and met him as he scrambled back to his feet with a rapidfire left-right combination to his face. Whack, paf. He stood his ground for the first punch, but her second punch knocked him back against the wall and he quickly sagged to the ground once more. The first bouncer shook his head vigorously and slowly climbed to his feet, coming around to face his amazing female opponent. All he saw as he cleared his sight and turned was her black leather clad foot as it danced before his face. With incredible balance, Suzie lifted a leg high, snapping it across the man's battered face. His head shot to one side as the top of her foot caught his cheek, then the bottom of her foot slapped back across his face and turned his head the other way. The amazon quickly bent her knee and brought her foot back, then sent a much stronger kick crashing into his face. "Uuuuunngh!" the bouncer cried as her kick landed, sending him face first into the wall. Suzie's first two kicks had done their work. He sprawled down to the floor in an unconscious heap, the crowd gasping in awe at the strong, sexy woman who'd knocked him out. "One down," she noted with satisfaction.. Suzie went back to the second bouncer, who stared in amazement and tried to scramble back away from her as she approached. She took him in one hand and pulled him to his feet easily, then brought her other fist back for a punch. "One to go.." Her attention was diverted as a door was quickly wrenched open behind her. A short, balding man stood in the doorway. "What in the name of hell is going on out here??" he thundered, then froze in shock as he surveyed the scene. One bouncer lay nearby, clearly unconscious. A tall, shapely young woman had another bouncer in front of her, and was evidently about to punch him in the face. He had clearly already been hit a few times, judging by a rapidly forming bruise and a bleeding lip. The little man's jaw dropped, his eyes widening in seeming horror. "Are you the owner?" Suzie demanded, releasing her hold on the second bouncer. He collapsed back down against the wall, relieved at the interruption. He moaned lightly in pain. "Wha.. ff... ga.." the little man began, shifting his attention quickly between his beaten bouncer and the girl. He settled on the bouncer. "Johnson, what's g..going on here??" "I said, are you the owner??" Suzie again asked, her fists at the ready. "Unnnh.. I dunno, Mr. Nelson," the bouncer began to mutter. "I.. I saw this girl beating George up, so I tried to stop her. God, she hits like a mule.." Nelson's astonished stare traveled down to the motionless form of George, then up to the threatening form of Suzie as she approached him. "Wh.. what do you want?" he asked, cringing. "Are you the owner or not?" "Y.. yes, I'm the owner!" Suzie seemed to relax somewhat. "Thought so.. your two wimpy bouncers here didn't seem to want me seeing you. So I got a bit physical. They fight like babies, y'know.. they didn't even recognize me as a threat until the fight started, and then it was too late.." Nelson interrupted her with a stammer. "Please.. just what do you want?" "Oh, right. I want a job." Nelson somehow managed to look even more shocked. "Wh.. what??" "I want a job." The little man quaked before her, with both terror and outrage. "Y.. you come in here, beat up my bouncers and want me to hire you??" "Yeah. Look, it's not my fault if they got in my way, or that they couldn't handle me," the beautiful girl explained. "They had a chance, but they didn't give me much of a fight. Most guys don't. Anyways, I've got several years bartending experience." "Wh.. what??" "I said, I've got a lot of bartending experience. What's the matter with you?" Nelson was shaking all over. "No, no!" he spat. "Not again, not after the last time! Tara was bad enough!" He quickly ducked back into the office. "Get out of here before I call the cops!" he cried before he slammed the door. Suzie heard the sound of a heavy-duty bolt being drawn as Nelson locked himself in. She groaned. "Fine!" she yelled after him. She turned and stalked back down the hall, ignoring the bouncer cowering on the floor as she sped past. "So much for city hospitality," she muttered as the crowd quickly parted to let her go. She was out the door and halfway back to her car when she heard the voice behind her. "Excuse me!" the man called. "Wait!" Suzie turned to see a rather large, half bald man in a suit running after her. "What do you want?" He came up, huffing and puffing with the effort of keeping up to her. "I watched you in there.. you looked like a good fighter.." "I am. You asking for a fight?" "No, no," the man quickly said. "You also said you were looking for work?" Suzie nodded. "What do you do?" "I'm a bartender." "I can give you work, only you wouldn't be tending bar." Suzie cast her eyes skyward. "What would I be doing, then?" she asked sarcastically. "Fighting." The girl's attention snapped back. "What?" "Let me introduce myself.. my name's Olson. I'm a fight manager. If you're interested, I can put you in my roster. It's decent money, if.." "I'm interested." Olson fairly beamed. "Wonderful! Um.. I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name." "Suzie. What kind of fighting is this?" "Um.. well, anything goes," Olson sounded slightly embarassed. "The only rule is no shots to the groin. It's brutal, bare-knuckled fighting.." Suzie grinned evilly. "Sounds like it might give me a challenge. All men, I assume?" "Yeah, you'd be the only woman on the roster, but from what I saw just now, I think you'd be able to handle it." "Damn right I could. I haven't met a man yet whose fists were better than mine." Olson smiled. "Well, we can put that to the test. Have we got a deal, Suzie?" "You just got your first female fighter, Mr. Olson." The two shook hands.
