The Heartless Night

It'd been a hot day and now as the cooler night air drew in Ray looked down
the line of eager people that where now queuing to get into the club. It was
going to be another 'wonderful' night, another long 'wonderful' night! "Ok
how's it going?" Dino was one of the newest bouncers, or 'doormen' as they
liked to be called now days, that was working tonight. "Same as always ...
Same as always" to Ray it was just another night at work, that didn't mean to
say that he didn't take his job seriously or wasn't interested. After all it
would only take one drunk, one lack of concentration and he could be injured,
in hospital, off work and no money.

No Ray took his job seriously, but it wasn't exciting, just the same thing
each night, people lined up, went inside. A few underage kids always tried to
get in, then there was the normal couple of fights inside, and the drunk that
harassed the wrong girl. So he or one of his friends would have to step in and
to top it all off was the end of the night when everyone staggered home. Again
the mandatory abuse and couple of drunken brawls, but sometimes they could be
amusing to watch, then the fight, the verbal kind with the drunken boy and
girl friend. The abuse hauled at him, from a distance, by the lads that had to
be thrown out for taking their 'enjoyment' just a bit too far. And then
finally the journey home, the toasted sandwich and then getting into bed as
the sun was coming up ... Same as always ... Same as always.

Ray had walked around the club with Dino, everything seemed Ok, but it was
early, the men went out side and changed over with two of the others. Dino was
in his element all the young good looking girls, all flashing those big smiles
as they where let in. Ray smiled, the lad tried too hard, let the women come
to you, that was his policy, every girl wanted to know a bouncer at the
hottest club, so he just let them come to him. It was one of the perks of the
job, if he though about it, it was probably the only perk of the job. "Hi Ray"
a sweet young blond flashed her smile at him as she went in 'very nice' "see
you inside?" 'Oh yes, let them come to you!'

Dino pulled the cord across to stop the queue as he let the group of good
looking girls go inside, he noticed the look between Ray and the blond and
went to talk to his friend. But from behind him "typical, let the bimbo's in
and make us wait" he stopped and looked round. A little way along the queue
was an older woman, she was stood behind someone so he couldn't see her that
clearly, but just from her manner, the way she stood he knew it was her that
had made the very loud comment. He didn't like those type of remarks but he
was getting use to them. Ray called him over, he'd heard it to, he didn't like
impatient people after all they where just doing their job. The men spoke, a
smile and maybe time to have a bit of fun in what was just another day at
work.

Dino let three or four more people in then pulled across the cord just in
front of the women that had made the comment, he smiled at her, a smug,
arrogant smile. She gave him her own look, his smile dropped, there was
something in her eyes something that ... ... "Everything Ok here?" Ray had
come over, part of their plan to annoy the women even more, he looked at her,
an older women, 40 something, petite with short fair hair set off a very
attractive face. Faint lines around the eyes gave her age away, a the odd line
around subtle thin pink lips, but it was her eyes that caught his attention.
Attractive eyes, but there was a look deep inside them that even made him feel
just a bit ... ... "Sorry love, you're a bit too old for this place" Dino gave
her the bad news, especially after all that time queuing up, and made sure he
was smiling as he said it.

'Benny's', the club was the hottest in town and the owner, Benny Abbot, had
laid down strict instructions as to who was allowed in. The women had to be
young, attractive, fun loving, with the emphasis on young and attractive. The
men came to this place because of the women, and it was the men that would
spend the money to attract the women, attract the right women, good looking
women. Benny's policy was clear, young attractive women equalled men who would
spend lots of money and make him a large profit. So when Miss Heartless came
out for the night at the hottest place in town she definitely ticked the
attractive box, but young! The lads knew that Benny would come out with the
old 'It's not grab a granny here' so she wasn't coming in.

The woman didn't take the news that well, from the expression on her face both
men felt unusually uneasy, Dino broke the deafening silence, he turned to the
much younger girl that accompanied Miss Heartless "your granddaughter ... ...
" Miss Heartless face went even harsher, Ray tried to recover the situation "
... Your daughter is more than welcome here but the rules are very ... " She
spoke, her tone was as sharp as her look "she's not my daughter ... " Dino
looked at the girl, young, quiet young couldn't tell just how young, small, a
little shorter than the woman, long dark hair, her face was slightly in the
dark, but they obviously didn't look alike. The only similarity that the women
had where their great looking bodies. They where both dressed tight trousers,
the young girls where black leather, the older woman jeans, both had equally
tight tops that enhanced their ample busts. The young girls white cropped, the
older woman long-sleeved with leopard skin print. It made her look just a bit
menacing.

The woman finished her reply " ... ... I'll be seeing you later" she turned
and walked off, younger girl turned to the men, she had her own strange smile
"Bye, bye boys, by the way you've just met Miss Heartless" with that she
followed her friend. 'Heartless!' That name seemed familiar to Ray, hadn't
there been a fighter who had a match with a woman ... (Reader may wish to read
The Heartless Foe & The Heartless Return) or something like that. Was he
thinking of the right thing 'Heartless, that name, why did it ring a bell with
him?' There was something about that name, but he just couldn't quite
remember.

A bit later and Ray and Dino had changed over and where heading for there
break, nothing else had happen, not that turning someone away was anything to
write home about. But there was something about that woman, the Heartless
woman, that name it was still bugging Ray, he wished he could think of it. The
men headed to the back offices then through a fire exit into the side alley
where everyone went for a smoke. There was already another man on his break
there, Robbie, he nodded to the two men as they stepped out into the smelly
and untidy alleyway, but it was somewhere to go for a few minuets peace.

The men lit up, that first draw on the cigarette relaxed Ray, as he blow out
the smoke he looked down the alleyway, there at the far end walking down
towards them were two figures. As the smoke cleared he recognised them, "I
said I would see you again." Normally he liked it when the women came to him,
but this wasn't one of those times, the women stopped. Ray was stood near the
door, both Dino and Robbie where sat on old box's one on each side of the
women. Miss Heartless stepped forward "your last change to make amends for
earlier on." He had had enough of this "look love just go away and ... "
WOOOSSSHHH! CRACK! THUD!

A sudden, stunning move, Miss Heartless had spun round and taken out the two
men, one at a time as they sat there, with her boot. The spinning kick had
smashing into each of the men's heads knocking first Dino then Robbie off
their seats. The woman came back to her original position, stood there, her
own smug expression now looking at Ray. He was shocked, had he actually seen
what he though he had? He looked from Heartless to Dino and Robbie, both men
on the floor from the woman's startling strike, the men groped around on the
floor, not knowing why they where on the floor or how they got there, it had
been that quick.

Ray stepped forward, Heartless looked at him, he stopped in his tracks, her
look froze him, he had faced some big men in his time, especially in this job.
But he had never seen a look like that, and for the first time he was unsure
of what to do. But this was a woman and an older woman at that, there was
something, something about her that Ray just couldn't get to grips with and it
scared him! The woman bent down, grabbed a disorientated Robbie OOOHHHHH! She
pulled him upwards and throw him into Dino who was just about getting back
onto his feet, both men tumbled over, collided into a pile of box's and bags
of rubbish. Laughter came from the young girl that stood out of the way
enjoying the show.

With two down Miss Heartless moved towards Ray, she kicked out, and Ray's
natural instincts kicked in, as he ducked backwards, the woman's boot just
missing is nose. He thought for a split second he could smell the leather of
her boots, he certainly felt the rush of air that flew across his face. 'That
was close ... ' THUD! She was too quick for him, the foot that missed came
down, turning her around so her back was to him, a step backwards to get
closer to Ray and she now drove her elbow back, driving it hard into Ray's
body. The wind was forced out of the bouncers body, he dropped to his knees,
winded and hurt, he didn't know when he had been hit so fiercely before.

The older woman turned to the two men that where now back on their feet,
Robbie wiped down his jacket, 'his best jacket!' Dino was just plain angry
now, Miss Heartless didn't care as she set about the men WHACK! CRACK! Her
feet went high and up, finding their marks in the men's faces, she followed
this up with fists, low and hard to the men's torso's. Dino dropped to his
knees, only to have the woman's thigh smash right into him, Robbie staggered,
the woman's boot smashed into his knee cap ARRRHHHH! He dropped to his good
knee, the pain was intense, but Miss Heartless other boot took his mind of his
knee as it drove into the back of his head sending crashing to the floor.

She moved back to Ray, who had now gained his breath back, Miss Heartless
turned on him, still on his knee he held his hands up to protect himself "Now
... we need to talk ... " She wasn't in the mood ARRRHHHH! She grabs his hand,
twists and gets the knelt man into the perfect goose neck hold, any good
doorman should have seen that coming, but was fear now clouding his mind? Miss
Heartless got the man up, painfully, onto his feet WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! Her
boot pummelled his stomach, each kick harder than the last, forcing the man up
and off his feet, then CRACK! Ray's jaw now felt her boot, and again and
again, his head shooting backwards each time then flying forward into the next
boot. His head spun, disorientated and in pain but the same thought still
gripped him, how could this woman, some ten year, and more, older than him be
able to do this to him ? She carried on with her 'talk' with Ray, bringing the
man up onto his feet then using her boots and fists to send him down to the
cold damp floor she'd just brought him up from.

Miss Heartless was having fun, Ray could take his punishment, she always
enjoyed that in a man, she knocked him back down again and turned to the
others. Robbie tried to get up, but now a combination of his damaged knee cap
and the older woman's fists sent him crashing to the floor. Dino was the
youngest and his body was the most supple, so he bounced well off the floor
each time the woman sent him there, even a classic judo throw didn't break
him, so she picked him up, and flipped him a few more time. But she made sure
she went back to Robbie to drive her boot back into that damaged knee cap.
Then to Ray to carry on with her demonstration of how an older woman can still
be a phenomenal force to recon with, dishing out pain and dread all at the
same time.

Dino landed again with a thud, Miss Heartless again dragged him upwards,
pushed him backwards and kicked out, sending her boot smashing into the side
of his face sending the young bouncer spin round and flying towards the dark
haired young girls. She saw her opportunity and delivered her own hard hitting
high kick that sent him back towards Miss Heartless, she smiled as he flew
back to her, stepping to the side as he got close and BANG! She grabbed him by
his neck, carried on with the momentum and drove the man forcefully into the
nearest wall. Blood splattered everywhere as his face was rammed into the
brick, she let go and he's body slid down the wall into a pile of stinking
rubbish bags.

The young girl applauded her mentor, Miss Heartless smiled at the
acknowledgment, she nodded to the girl and looked at the man on the floor,
Robbie. The girl knew what to do, she walked up to the groggy, hurt man,
grabbed and pulled him up onto all fours. His knee still hurt, he tried to
roll over but she gripped his head between her knees, holding him there in
that position. He didn't have the energy to try and break free, not that he
would have been capable of doing so, she was a lot strong than she looked. She
leaned forward grabbed each of his arms by the wrist, pulled them up and
outwards so he was unable to use his hands for anything, then suddenly she
dropped to her knees, slamming the mans face into the floor THUD! As his face
hit his nose was driven up into his head, his body jerked once then was still.

The girl got up, dusted herself off as Miss Heartless pulled Ray onto his
feet, she pushed him against the wall, she was close, he felt her soft breath
on him, the smell of her perfume THUD! The pain of her fist as it drove into
his stomach, he slid down the wall, she grabbed his hair pulled his head back
so he looked straight up at her, she looked deep into his eye and saw fear, he
looked deep into her and saw superiority. The he remembered her, he knew where
he had heard the name 'Heartless' before "you ... ... you're the one who
fought Eddie ... " SMACK! Her clenched backhander across his face dropped the
man to the floor.

She grabbed the hurting man by his collar and dragged him along as she headed
into the club by the fire exit, the dark hair girl followed. Miss Heartless
looked down at her new pet "where's this Benny's office" Ray pointed to some
stairs. It was a painful climb up the long set of stairs for the man, at the
top Miss Heartless got a good view of the club, the dance floor, balcony's
that ran around, it was more like an arena. A poster near by said 'Thursday
Night ... Ladies Night' 'What was it about Thursday?' The young girl looked
down, she could see the smile on the older woman's face, 'an arena.. Thursday
Night at the Arena?' The ideas just came flooding to her.

BANG! Benny's office door flew open as Ray went crashing through it, Miss
Heatless followed, a casual, superior stroll, she was in no rush. "What the
hell is this ... " Benny was a short overweight man, he got up from behind his
desk, he looked shocked at seeing his senior doorman being thrown through his
door, then some old woman just casually following in. "You get up off ... "
CRACK! From nowhere a dark haired girl had appeared and struck the man, Benny
toppled back into his chair. Miss Heartless boot drove into Ray's body WHACK!
She kicked him out the way as she moved up to the desk, the man was sent
rolling across the floor towards a large settee that had two young good
looking girl sitting on enjoying Champaign.

Miss Heartless turned to Benny "an added bonus for owning the place I take
it." She smiled at the two women "girls come back in 15 minutes and bring some
friends this wont take long." She turned back to Benny, the dark haired girls
boot was on the mans fat belly holding him down in the chair. "Now I came here
tonight as I heard this was a good place to go, but ... " she walked over
grabbed Ray by his hair dragged him back to the desk. " ... ... But your man
here and his friend wouldn't let me in and that has really upset me ... "
WHACK! Miss Heartless smashed Rays face into the desk, the man was knocked
clean out and fell into a heap. Benny swallowed hard he had never seen anyone,
let alone a woman, ever hurt his senior doorman.

"But now 'Benny' ... " Her tone was mocking, yet strong and demanding " ...
that I've managed to see this place I like it and I'm going to make you a
offer for it ... " "What the ... " OOOFFFFFFF! The girl pushed her boot hard
into his gut "don't interrupt, the offer wont be a good one, but you'll accept
it ... " Just then two more doormen appeared in the doorway of Benny's office,
the fat man smiled. Miss Heartless turned from the men back to Benny "I warn
you aggressive bargaining will only mean you come off worse!" The older woman
turned back to the two new doormen "come on in boy's and lets get to know each
other ... ... !"
