Not So 'Super' Superman. By Crossmanx Even the man of steel has his weakness, and it's not always kryptonite! By Crossmanx at crossmanx@hotmail.co.uk - Comments and ideas welcome Not So 'Super' Superman. Clark Kent stepped out of the elevator and into the lobby of the Daily Planet, he had just finished for the day and it had been a long one, well a long day for any normal person. Firstly Clark had to get into work early and finish off his article for the following day, then he had to shoot across town and interview a local councillor about a community project to reduce crime. After that there was a journalist meeting back at the office followed by briefing at police headquarters about the current crime figures and lastly back to the office to write up everything that had happened that day. Ready for Perry his editor to read it and then throw in the bin. Now that would be enough for any normal person but when you also add in that Clark is in fact also 'Superman' and during the day Superman had stopped a bank robbery, saved three people in a car when the breaks had failed, stopped Lex Luthor his arch enemy from taking over the world, again, and rescued a cat from a tree. Then yes it had been a long and busy day, add to all this that Clark had asked Lois Lane, his reporter partner to dinner that evening and been turned down, again, as she wanted to check something out. That was her way of saying 'I have a story and I'm not going to tell anyone about it until I have everything and also written the story with only my name attached to it, Partner!' Then yes it had been a long, long day. So even Superman, er Clark Kent could be forgiven for being a little tired and not concentrating when he walked across the open lobby towards the large imposing doors of the Daily Planet, and as he pushed on the door to leave THUD! "OHHHHHHH!" Clark suddenly realised that he had pushed on the door just as someone was on the other side and about to come in, luckily he wasn't using his super powers or he would have knocked them across the other side of the block. "I am so sorry it's all my fault, I wasn't looking where I was going. It's been a busy day and ... ... " Clark stopped mid-sentence as he now notice the person he had opened the door on to. There was stood a woman, a young woman, a girl, Clark wasn't sure he couldn't quite say how old she might be. Teens, late teens, early twenties, he couldn't tell, she was a small woman, girl, well a lot smaller than him 5' or just a shade over, compared to his 6' 6". She was a trim girl and even with a quick glance you could tell her body may be small but it was toned and looked after and Clark with his broad shoulders and heavy build towered over the smaller woman, girl. She was a pretty little thing, with a pure face that seemed to just light up as he looked at her, her long golden hair was tied back in a ponytail and her eyes where so deep and blue Clark thought he could just dive into them. She was wearing a pair of ankle boots and short dark skirt and tight white top that hugged her toned body, her breasts were not that large but compared with the rest of her petite body they stood out and you couldn't help but notice them. The girl looked up at the taller, broader man, dressed in his dark blue suite, he looked immaculate, with his well-groomed hair and clean shaven look, even if it was indeed late afternoon. Through his old fashion broad rimmed black glasses she could see he had dark eyes and recognised him instantly "Oh Mr Kent sorry I didn't see you coming the other way." Clark shook himself out of his stare and back into the present where he went through his normal bumbling routine of apologising and making it all his fault. His was how he played himself down so not to give away his super hero identity, but on this occasion he truly didn't know what the right word were or how to find them, this woman, girl, had had a strange effect on him. "How ... how did you know my name?" He finally got around to asking "Oh that's easy everyone know the great Clark Kent and what a super reporter you are." He blushed, which was unusual for him, and Superman, "can ... can I help you with anything" he managed to get out. "Oh no, that's alright I'm just here to meet someone, but thank you." She smiled, her whole face lit up and then she walked over to the reception desk, Clark just stood there as he watched her walk away. He was dumb struck by her, there was something about her, he was drawn to her as if she had put a magic spell over him. The man of steel, Clark, realised that there must be more to her, to this chance meeting, he was captivated by her but did not know why, yes she was attractive, very good looking with a gorgeous petite body with such a wonderful look, and her smile was ... ... He felt himself getting distracted again and so quickly left, but one just last look back at the girl as she walked over to the reception desk and he forced himself to leave. As Clark got outside the fresh air hit him, he took in a deep breath and headed to the subway, his head spinning with a number of different thoughts and emotions. Inside the girl stopped before she reached the reception desk, she turned around and saw that Clark was already through the door and walking away, she smiled and was about to turn back toward the main doors when the woman behind the desk asked "can I help you?" The girl looked at her "no it's alright I've already done what I came here for!" Later that evening and back in Clark's apartment he couldn't stop thinking about the girl from earlier, normally he would be thinking about Lois and agonising about should he tell her his secret, that he was really Superman. But tonight it was different, tonight he was thinking about her, the girl. There was only one thing to do to take his mind off thinking about her, he wiped off his glasses, unbuttoned his shirt to reveille his Superman costume and his disguise was off. Superman set off through the Metropolis night air, flying high above the city, normally he would be on the lookout for the criminals as they crawled out of the sewers like the rats they were, going about their depraved business and carrying out their bad deeds under the cover of darkness. He saw three men in an alley about to burgle a shop, and then witness a car speeding and going out of control, spinning off the road. He heard the running feet of a someone being pursued through an empty subway and even the sound of a gunshot, he clearly heard from the eastside of the city, but he ignored all these. All that Superman could concentrate on was the girl 'what had she done to him, had she done anything, why could he not get her out of his head?' He aimlessly flew around with different thoughts taking up his attention 'who was she?' 'Did she have some strange power?' 'Was she a supervillain or was she just an ordinary girl that he just bumped into and liked?' He was about to head back to his apartment and try to get some sleep, 'maybe he would make better sense of it in his dreams', then suddenly something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. On top of a tall building in the far distance there was a lone figure. Stood there on the edge of the building, it was a woman, a girl, it was her, the girl from earlier dressed as she had been before, but now out in the night air and on a rooftop! All of a sudden the figure toppled over, she fell off the top of the building and was plummeting to the sidewalk below. Superman, turned in mid-flight towards her, he rushed as fast as he could to save the girl before she hit the ground WOOOSSSHHH! Superman thundered through the cool night air and just feet from smashing into the sidewalk he grabbed the girl, saving her from a fate worse than death ... ... well death! He took the girl in his arms and shot back up into the sky, circled the tall building from where she had fallen and came down on its rooftop to bring the girl back down to safety. Superman set her back down onto her feet on the rooftop and stood there looking down at her, she didn't look scared, concerned, or even thrilled to have been saved and still be alive. She just looked the same as she did when Clark had first bumped into her. "Are you alright, what happened, did someone push you?" Again he was drawn into her deep blue eyes but as Superman he pulled himself together and asked the normal question in this situation. She looked up at 'her hero' "thank you Cl ... Superman, you saved my life" 'Did she say, was she about to say 'Clark', had she seen through his disguise?' She turned to walk away "What ... What were you doing up here?" her head turned back and she gave him her cute smile, Superman felt weak, but in a strange way "well how else am I going to meet you?" she replied. "You deliberately throw yourself off the building hoping that I would save you!" Superman was shocked by this, the girl now turned fully round to face her hero "well don't tell me that you haven't had people try and gain your attention before!" "Not in this way. Not by throwing themselves off a roof and hoping I fly by and save them, what would have happened if ... " "Oh I knew you would save me" she said cutting him off. With that she stepped closer to the man of steel, she placed a hand on his large, strong chest and THUD! The girl had pushed against Superman chest sending the man of steel backwards; he stumbled, overbalanced and fell to the floor on his back. She hadn't be too forceful, she hadn't suddenly become super powerful, or drained him of all his strength with kryptonite, he knew all too well what it felt like to be in the presence of that powerful element. But somehow she had managed to push him over as if he were just some normal person and she was someone that bit stronger! Superman was shocked, stunned and not really understanding what had just happened 'she just pushed me over!' Before he could get his head around the strange occurrence, the girl had come at him; she jumped on him, straddling the super hero as he lay there on the building rooftop. The confused Superman tried to regain his composure and make sense of what was going on, whilst the girls cute smile turned to a dirty grin "well Superman shall we see what makes you so 'Super'!" With that she started to 'make herself more comfortable' as she sat across the man of steel's groin, wiggling herself into a better position. Superman soon become embarrassed and knew he must stop all this. Especial if either the police or news helicopter was about, it wouldn't look good for Superman to be on the evening news filmed in this position! As the girl still tried to find the best position Superman held out his arms, intending to, gently, grab the girl and life her off him, well that was the plan. Except that she had other ideas. The girl grabbed onto Superman's arms as they reached out, and held them away from her, he was stunned, she didn't seem strong at all, yet here she was holding onto his arm and stopping him, Superman, from grabbing onto her. He pushed against her but his arms didn't move, if this wasn't strange enough then the fact that she didn't look as if she was even trying to hold him back made the situation even weirder! It was like a grown adult holding onto a very small child, the child, Superman, trying with all their might and the adult, the girl, hardly using up any of their strength at all. The only thing that the girl was concentrating on was her wiggling further and further into Superman groin. As she held onto his arm with her small hands the wiggling became move of a grinding motion as she continued to embed herself into him. If that was not bad enough Superman could fell himself 'react' against her powerful hip movement as she grinded herself more and more into him. "I see you're finally beginning to like me Superman!" The girl announce as she felt the man of steels reaction her actions, the more she grinded herself into him the more he reacted. "I see why they call you the man of steel, you certainly have something down there don't you!" As she carried on, the girl rode him into such a state of frenzy that he had never thought possible, he was powerless to stop her, she held onto his arms, griping them and even hurting him as she was relentless with her grinding motion. Her hips rotated around and around, as she excited him, and as brought his to the edge of ecstasy, Superman could not control himself. Through his superhero costume, she could feel him, her actions had made him harder than he had ever been before. Then, when even the man of steel could take no more, he exploded; the girl was pushed up and off him as he shot his load, lifting both him and her off the ground and into the night sky. As they flew upwards Superman lost sight of the girl, he was exhausted and drained and unique and extraordinary experience for the man of steel. Then suddenly he started to fall back down CRASH! He smashed back into the rooftop of the building, damaging and smashing the roof. He was a shattered and worn out man, and lay there having just gone through one of the most, bizarre and exciting moment of his life. He still couldn't see the girl as his eyes closed and tiredness took over. Sometime later the sound of a helicopter awake Superman, he was till lying on the rooftop of the building, in the distance a helicopter was heading his way with it night light shining towards him. There was still no sign of the girl and he could feel the mess inside his costume that told him, 'it did really happen it wasn't a dream.' He was so tired but still had enough strength to fly away as quickly as he could, to get away from the praying eyes in the helicopter, he hoped they hadn't seen anything! Later that night back at Clark's apartment and after he had cleaned himself and his costume up after his 'super' explosion, he turned off the television set as once again it ran the footage of superman laying on the rooftop of a down town Metropolis apartment block. The reported had asked the question "Why was Superman lying down, what had happened here, had Superman been in a fight and lost or had he stopped off for a quick sleep when he should be protecting the good citizens of Metropolis?" It had not been the best day for Superman, Clark thought, but what of the girl, the news hadn't mentioned her, just as well and there wasn't any footage of her on top of him dominating him as she had. Again, just as well, that would be very difficult for Superman to explain. That night Clark tossed and turned as he tried to get some sleep, but all he could think about was her, the girl, 'who was she? Why had she turned up at the Daily Planet? Had she really thrown herself off that building just to meet Superman? How was it she was so strong and how did she manage to control him so easily? But most of all he thought about the way she had ridden him and made him cum so easily, how she had sexually dominated him and if he was truly honest about it, how much he had enjoyed it! The next day at work the rumours about Superman where gong around, there was even one about a woman being involved in last night's 'incident'. But this rumour was lost with all the others and Clark was very relived about that. Perry, the editor, had stormed in and sent both him and Lois out to find out what was going on with Superman "and don't come back until you have a story!" His departing words still rung in both their ears as they headed out into Metropolis to find their story. Around midday the pair of them where talking to a load of cops near to the doughnut shop when over the radio came reports of an incident in the Main Street area. Lois and Clark listen intently to numerous jumbled and wild reports of destruction, confusion, chaos and a girl! Instantly Clark knew it was her, he faked some stomach bug and had to use the restroom as Lois rushed off in the direction of Main Street. As soon as she was far enough away Clark rushed down a side alley, he removed his glasses and unbuttoned his shirt, then he emerged the other side of the alleyway, in full Superman costume and flying up into the Metropolis skyline. Seconds later and Superman swoops down and lands in Main Street, it looks as if a battle has taken place here, cars overturned, large holes in the road and sidewalks, windows smashed and shops destroyed. People were rushing in all directions trying to get away and both ends of the street blocked off by an array of police cars, fire trucks and ambulances. A police officer behind every available piece of cover pointing their guns at Superman, well not at Superman but at the person next to him, the one that had caused all this destruction, the petite girl from the day before. There she was still dressed as she been before and looking all innocent and cute and as the man of steel came fly down and landed next to her she smiled "hello Clark, er Superman did you come just because of me?" He looked around ignoring the 'Clark' 'dame this girl has seen through my disguise after all!' "Did you cause all this devastation?" and 'how did such a petite thing do all this?' Superman again looked around at the scene, the over turned cars and a van on its side, then the metal fire stairway hanging dangerously away from the side of a building and several large holes in the various building around them, 'what has happened here?' And as if she had read his mind "well I had to do something to get your attention and get you here." "Why?" was all he could say, she smiled again that really cute smile of hers "so I can do this!" WHACK! UUUHHHHHHH! The girl had jumped, swung her arm round and smashed her fist into Superman's jaw, the blow had sent the man of steel off his feet and flying through the air, he crashed down into the sidewalk at least ten feet away from where he had been standing, and then skidded into the side of a building that shook under the sudden impact. There was a loud gasp from all the police and bystanders who had gathered to watch the incident unfold, and no one had expected to see that! Superman was stunned and shocked, she'd hit him, and hit him hard, this girl had knocked the, so called, man of steel, off his feet, 'how did she do that?' Before Superman could answer his own question the girl had flung herself towards him, feet first and the rest of her body followed as she aimed and throw herself at him, Superman shook his head, looked up to see the sole of a dainty boot heading his way and THUD! The boot may have been small and petite but the force behind it wasn't, she drove Superman's head back into the building, through the bricks and smashed it hard into the floor the other side of the now ruined wall. Taken down twice in a matter of seconds by the girl, Superman didn't know what was going on WHACK! As she struck him again, but he did know he had better do something as this was hurting! Which was something he never expected or had experienced from a girl before, and now he could taste blood in his mouth, he knew this was serious and he could be in trouble. But before Superman could do anything the girl reached down grabbed the man of steel by his costume and WOOOSSSHHH! UUUUHHHH! THUD! THUD! THUD! She'd hoyed him up, spun him and thrown Supermen against the nearest wall, he was sent flying, not a new sensation for Superman but he'd defiantly not been sent flying by a girl before. He crashed through the first wall, then the second and carried on smashing through a number of walls until he collided into a large steel girder holding up the upper floor of an old warehouse on 3rd Avenue. The girder was now bent in half due to Superman hitting it and now bits of the upper floor had started to fall down on the battered superhero. As he lay there with masonry falling down around him he realised that he had to do something, she was no ordinary 'little girl'. "Well, well you don't look so 'Super' now do you, maybe I've had an effect on you last I did last night?" The girl stood there in the middle of the hole in the wall that Superman had made when he'd crashed into the warehouse, now with a smug, but still attractive, smile on her face. Superman felt a sudden sense of rage, whether it was with the girl for doing this to him or with himself for letting the girl do it he didn't know. All that Superman did know was it was time to fight back. He pushed himself off the steel girder and flew at her, arms stretched out, fists clenched ready to crash into her and just as he reached her CRACK! She spun round and to the side as Superman sped past her, but as she swung round her clenched fist also came swinging round and smashed into his face. She sent Superman spinning and tumbling through the air THUD! THUD! THUD! Through more building Superman was sent, until in an office on 7th Avenue he came to a half again, he lay there for a while still trying to understand what was going on, eventually he started to get to his feet. As he did so the girl again appeared at the hole in the wall he'd made, she casually made her way over to him, as he got to his feet she was almost at him, then suddenly she jumped up. She jumped high, very high and spun herself around WHACK! Her boot slammed into the side of Superman's head, driving him through yet another wall and into the next building. The girl came back down onto her feet and strolled over to the new 'exit' that Superman had made. She followed him to where he lay now and CRACK! She once more sent the superhero flying through walls and masonry, through buildings scattering the people working in them, as she dishing out pain and humiliation to the once proud defender of justice and the people of Metropolis SMASH! THUD! The girl relentlessly carried this on knocking the man of steel from one building to another, from one street to the next. She pounds and pummels Superman, knocking him through walls and concrete, smashing him and pounding him with every fist that lands on him, and every boot that slams into him saps his super strength. He falls into another building that almost collapses on top of him, but still she finds him. The girl knocks away the fallen masonry and rubble like a small child kicking away a set of building blocks, until she had uncovered the fallen Superman. He lays there batter, bruised in his torn and ripped crime fighting outfit, he's defeated; the man of steel has fallen at the hands of a small, young girl. This was not Superman finest hour by any stretch, his bruised and bloody face looks up at the girl and by the smile on her face she's not finished CRUNCH! ARRRHHHH! Again he's sent crashing through wall after wall after wall, then coming through the last wall he heads out towards the city's centre park, causing a long deep furrow as his body skidded across the ground. As Superman lay there beaten, hurt and bleeding with his normally immaculate superhero costume now all ripped and torn the girl appears next to him, and again with that smile. She reached down and grabs him by his feet then slowly, at first, she starts to spin him around and around. It was like a child holding onto their favour teddy bear and swinging them around, except the 'teddy bear' in this case was Superman and the child was 'the girl', then WOOOSSSHHH! ARRRHHHH! She flings him upwards, his limp body flung high and only just missed the news helicopter that was filming the ongoing, one way, fight taking place around, and destroying, the city centre. What goes up, must come down, and so did Superman's broken and battered body. He plummeted back to earth, back to the city park and where she's waiting for him. As he came hurtling back down she timed it just right, she jumps high and as the falling man and the jumping girl where just at the right place, as he falls just past her CRACK! She drives her fist hard into Superman, driving him even faster and harder back down into the ground BANG! The sound of Superman being driven into the ground by the girl echoed around the city centre and all through Metropolis, the ground shock violently, buildings shudder, people run screaming as if an earthquake had hit. And Superman lays there in a deep large crater, the girl appears at the edge of the crater looking down at the defeated and fallen Superman, the fight is over and the petite girl has won. With that she just walks away, leaving him there. The news helicopter flies over and tries to follow the girl through the destruction of the devastated city centre, but loses her. At the crater, police and by standers slowly start to gather to look down at their 'protector' the now defeated 'Superman!' Later that day in Metropolis railway station, the place is alive with people talking about 'what happened to Superman' and 'the mysterious girl.' In all the bars and shops around the area people are gathered around televisions watching the news footage of Superman's humiliating defeat at the hands of a girl. But everyone is too busy to notice the petite girl who's by herself sat down in one of the rows of seats; she looks up to the destinations board "were to next?" She thought about that, where indeed would she go to next, maybe to Gotham City and hang about with Batman, or Central City and run around with the Flash. Then there was Fawcett City and Captain Marvel or Ivy Town and the Atom, Midway City and Hawkman, or had he moved to St. Roch? And not forgetting Star City and the Green Arrow. 'Choices, Choices!' She took out a dice from her bag "here goes!" She rolled the dice in the empty seat next to her, it tumbled and then came to rest on, the number looked up at her and she smiles, 'so that's where I heading!'
