Determination to Change By Crossmanx at - crossmanx@hotmail.co.uk - comments and ideas welcome. All you need is a bit of determination and some will power, to change! Determination to Change It was early afternoon on a Saturday and the City centre was quite full of people still out trying to find a bargain or to start their New Year off in a different way. Rebecca looked at her watch as she stepped inside the coffee shop, she was a bit late and knew that Lauren would already be ... ... "Over here!" The tall redhead, Rebecca, saw her friend and made her way across the shop to her. The friends greeted each other, the normal kiss on the cheek before siting down at the table that Lauren had grabbed for the friends to sit at. There was already two Coffee's on the table a clear indication that Rebecca was indeed late. "So, I see that improving your time keeping wasn't one of the New Year resolutions you made?" Lauren had a way with words and could make her point very easily. Rebecca just smiled, grinned and took a sip of her coffee " ... ... and I thought your where going to get yourself a new wardrobe, that's the same trashy coat you were wearing last year!" Lauren seemed to be on a roll as she once again criticised her friend, but this was just her way, there was never any harm meant, well not really. Rebecca just ignore this, OK she had said she was going to start the New Year off with a new wardrobe, change a few things in her life and about herself, it all went to make up her New Year's Revolutions! But 'come on', it was only the first couple of weeks into the new year so it wasn't all going to happen overnight, even if it was her New Year's resolution things! Anyway, what was wrong with her coat it was long, warm, it fitted her so nicely and it suited her. The long leopard skin coat said a lot about Rebecca and the sort of woman she was, and she liked it. But then again ... ... ! Maybe the coat was the old her, the old Rebecca, after all the woman had thought that, maybe, it was time for a change in her life! The woman had made a New Year's resolution just after the clock had struck midnight on the 31st, a resolution to change her life, and told Lauren as they toasted in the New Year. The woman was fit, she went to the gym regularly and had no health issues or bad habits, well her smoking was just a social thing, nothing else! But the hard-working woman probably needed to address issues around her attitude, her personality, that sort of thing. Working hard in the gym and the office was great but maybe you don't need a hard attitude towards those around you. Maybe you don't have to have that strong personality, all the time! But as always with Rebecca it wasn't just something simple as 'change my life.' No, it had to be broken down into a number of different parts, that would all add up to the woman, 'Changing', hopefully! Well that was the type of person, that Rebecca was, achieve one goal, one part, and then move onto the next. But when you're going to change the way you are, the whole of you, then it has to be done all at the same time, so this could prove to be a problem! Rebecca's resolution went along the lines of ... ... Part 1, to be a kinder person to those around her, friends, relatives, even strangers. Be more tolerant to others and be a nicer person. Part 2, to not be the grabbing person she'd been last year, just taking everything that she saw that she liked. Not to be materialistic as she'd been in the past. The woman who saw something and knew it had to be hers! Part 3, to maybe quieten down a bit, find the real her, not to be the loud, dominant, over bearing person she was normally. Calm down, take things in her stride instead of trying to manipulate and dictate how everything should work around her and her life! Part 4, change her style, a new wardrobe and new outlook, a new her! Finally, part 5, give up smoking, this was probably going to be the easiest to achieve! Parts 1 to 5 would complete Rebecca's New Year's Resolution to 'Change!' After all, 5 little changes couldn't be that difficult, could it? Although it all seemed quite reasonable, these parts that made up her resolution, to make her, and her life, better, all seemed quite practical. The new wardrobe was only a small part of the resolution, and that would take a bit of time, obviously. The being a better person bit wasn't, again, going to happen that quickly, but she was working on it. The materialistic bit would be a bit tougher, when she wants something she did naturally go to grab it, to make it hers, so that would be ... ... ! And there was the bit about 'calming down' and not being so 'loud', and that seemed as if it might be interesting to try and achieve. But the more she tried the giving up smoking part, the more it seemed to be the 'most' challenging, in all of this! So, she knew she would need to 'work' on her resolution, well that was the idea. "So, tell me how's the resolution's going then?" Lauren grinned at her friend as she put down her coffee cup, and knowing what Rebecca was like, it was going to be interesting catching up on 'how it was going,' or not! Rebecca smirked back at her friend as the last two weeks and trying to keep her resolution now raced through her mind and she opened up to her friend about some aspects of how it was going ... ... ! There was Part 1 of her resolution 'to be a kinder person to those around her, friends, relatives, even strangers. Be more tolerant to others and be a nicer person.' So how had that part gone? Well, there had been a bit of an early hic-up in this part, it had been during the first week after New Year's a morning that had proved to be very trying for the woman, but it hadn't started that way. On that morning Rebecca had got up nice and early, it was still dark outside and she couldn't sleep. But she felt quite invigorated and needed to get rid of this extra energy she had flowing through her body. So, she pulled out some old running cloths, she hadn't got around to getting that new wardrobe yet, found her trainers and was soon setting off out of her flat and into the early morning 'crisp' air for a jog. 'Yes, a nice quiet early morning run' that's would be good, that would help her with her New Year resolutions, get her into the right frame of mind to take on the other challenges of the day and all it had to throw at her! Plus, a good run will get rid of all that extra energy she seemed to have this morning. The woman's jog was going well, she felt really good about herself and how she was doing, how she was feeling, that was until ... ... ! Until she headed towards the park, the footpath took her past a line of flats and along the walkway by the side of the river. Then it would be over the bridge and into the park. It was as Rebecca swung around off the footpath and onto the bridge that she saw the man on the bike coming the other way. The bridge was quite narrow and even though there were those signs that told cyclist to dismount and there was no cycling over the bride, then man just kept coming. Still pedalling away and totally ignoring the female runner! Even so Rebecca carried on running, she had right of way after all, but the man carried on pedalling, and in the middle of the bridge they met and something had to give, BANG! OOOUUUHHH! Unfortunately, it was Rebecca that had to give, not that she wanted to. But because the man on the bike had hit her, knocked into her as she was running and sent the woman tumbling over. She fell against the side of the bridge, and she felt it hard stone wall. As she fell against the side of the bridge she turned around and was amazed, shocked, angry to see the man just carry on, pedalling away from her as if 'he'd' done nothing wrong. Rebecca called out, shouted at the cyclist, a few chose words were used and then the man stopped. Some way, away, he came to a halt, tuned his head and looked back at the female runner on the bridge. He just looked back at her for a second and then turned back and carried on his way, "What!" So much for being tolerant and nice to even strangers! Rebecca shouted again at the man but he was already out of sight having turned around the corner and nowhere to be seen now. The woman could do nothing now, but was fuming inside, so much for 'a nice quiet early morning run!' But that was all she could do, carry on with her run, and maybe work off some of the now anger that had now built up inside of her! Rebecca set off around the park, once twice, three times, each time she got faster and faster as her thoughts of the cyclist were there at the front of her mind. But she had to remand calm, she had to cool off and be that nicer person he had resolved to become. This was going to be tougher that she'd thought. On the other side of the park she veered off and headed towards a subway that went under the nearby main road. She ran down the slipway that lead to the entrance and then into the tunnel. The sound of her hard-hitting trainers pounding the floor echoed around the subway, as did two voices. These where of the two young men, two juvenile adults that were coming the other way. A black youth and his white friend the two men who, by the looks of how they were dressed, where making their way home from a very long, and successful, night out! Rebecca ignored them as she ran pass, still with the image of the cyclist firmly in the forefront of her mind. But the two 'men' noticed her, they had a good look at Rebecca as she ran past them and she caught both their eye. She was hard to miss, so how the cyclist managed it 'God only Knows.' Rebecca was a tall redhead with long hair that had a distinctive curl to it and came down past her shoulders. But for running purposes, it was tied back in a ponytail, which made her face now very obvious, she was quite attractive, with her lovely eyes, high cheekbones and red lips. She needed very little make up and had an almost natural beauty about her. If her face and good looks where not enough, then there was her body, and the two young men defiantly noticed this as well. And the way she was dressed. Her grey, snake skin pattern trainers led up to a pair of tight jogging bottoms, one's that hugged her long and strong legs. They were black with a strip of leopard skin pattern running up the side of each leg, making them standout, just a bit. Upwards and the woman wore a whit long sleeve running top, again it was tight, which led little to the imagination as to how toned, firm her body was, her stomach, her arms. The tight top also made her round, firm breasts quite unmissable, as did the cheetah pattern strips that criss-crossed the white top. Of course, you'd have to know the difference between Cheetah and Leopard skin pattern to have spotted this correctly. The two youths didn't notice which pattern was which, there just saw a quite fit, tall and quite stunning looking older woman. Well she was 37, so to these two that was quite old. But even so as she had such a fit body they could over look that fact. Both youths grinned, she'd do, they'd thought! So good did she look that the black youth thought he needed to show this. As she'd run past and these two had turned to admire her well formed arse, the lad wolf whistled his appreciation of her! Rebecca was almost at the far end of the tunnel when she heard the youths whistle and stopped! She didn't take another step just turned and looked back at the two grinning youths, the young men who were now laughing. These two seemed to be taking all this in their stride, as if it was a joke, as if wolf whistling at her was acceptable! This was the moment when Rebecca had had enough, first the cyclist, now these two, the wolf whistle, the laughing. Rebecca now throw herself into a run, a sprint, towards these 'men.' She ran, pushing herself over the short distance, then at the right moment, when she was almost there at the laughing men, she jumped up, up high, WHACK! THUD! As she went up the woman sent out a leg, and foot, and thrusted an arm, and a fist, forward at the same time. The foot made contact, so did the fist, the black man got the woman's trainer in his face. A small 'thank you' for his token of admiration of her, the wolf whistle, while his friend, the white youth, got the woman's fist, straight into his smug face. The double hit sends both men flying backwards, as they fly off their feet the woman came back down on hers, and as the men landed on their arse, she moved hers and goes in for her next hit, SMACK! OOOHHHHHH! A kick that sends the white youth rolling across the hard, dirty floor of the subway, then she turns, reaches down to the wolf whistling youth, who's already trying to get himself back onto his feet, WOOOSSSHHH! THUD! OOOOHHHH! Her strong hands grab the young black man as he stumbles back to his feet, she helps him up by yanking hard, turning, spinning and throwing the stunned man into the far wall of the subway. As he goes face first into the concrete wall and bounces off, she now rushes at him. She hops up and grabbing hold of his shoulders, she drives her knee up high and into his back, THUD! ARRRHHHH! At the same time, she pins him back against the wall, thrusts her knee into his spine, sending a chilling electric pain up and down his body. A second passes as she holds the hurt black man against the wall then CRACK! Rebecca slams her forehead into the back of the man's head. Driving her wolf whistling man's face into the hard wall. There's an echoie shriek that fills the subway as his face slams forward into the wall, it's the woman who has a smug grin on her face. Rebecca lets go, steps away from the man who's in agony and now slides down the wall, she turns to see the white juvenile male who is now almost back up on his feet, with an irritated look on his face. As this is no way to look at a lady she takes a couple of quick steps over to the man, grabs him before he is fully upright and THUD! OOOOWWWW! Her driving knee slams into his groin, hurting the man and then WHACK! She throws her fist into the side of his jaw, shocking him and knocking him back down to the floor. With both men hurt, in pain and on the floor Rebecca dusts off her hands, turns and head back off on her run, well at least that got rid of some of her pent-up aggression. So at least that was one good thing, unfortunately this did nothing to help the woman with the first part of resolution, 'to be a kinder person to those around her, friends, relatives, even strangers. Be more tolerant to others and be a nicer person!' As Rebecca carried on with her morning run she knew this resolution thing was going to be much more challenging than she'd first thought. Back in the coffee shop Rebecca takes another sip of her coffee as she thinks back again over the last two weeks and how she's managed with the other parts of her New Year's resolution ... ... ! There was Part 2 'to not be the grabbing person she'd been last year, just taking everything that she saw that she liked. Not to be materialistic as she'd been in the past. The woman who saw something and knew it had to be hers!' How had that gone? Well, it was only a few days again, and not that long into the new year when she'd gone to the gym. After parking up in the carpark she went to the boot of her car and took out her sports bag, as she stepped away to close the boot, WOOSSHH! THUD! Something had gone rushing past her and knocked into Rebecca and sent her tumbling down the floor. The woman was stunned, shocked, she was OK, but had just been knocked over, and as she looked around ... ... Knocked down by a cyclist! But this was no ordinary cyclist this was the same one from the incident on the bridge a few days earlier, same bike, same riding jacket, same man! Rebecca jumped to her feet and screamed at the man as he rode away. But again, he stopped some distance away and tuned his head to again look at the woman as she once again shouted and berated him. But just like the other day he turned back and just carried on cycling away, turning a corner and he was once more out of sight! Rebecca stomped the ground with her feet in frustration, 'when she found out who this was!' But if he was here, in this area, had he been to the gym, her gym? That seemed to be a logical explanation, the woman took in a deep breath, closer the boot of her car, paused and then calmly headed to the gym entrance. Inside the gym, and up to the reception desk Rebecca said hello to Jackie who was on duty and signed in, and at the same time she looked who else was in today, and who had been in. If she could identify the rider she would then be in a position to have a have a 'nice chat' with him about his riding skills! As she securitised the signing in book she recognised everyone's names, it was that sort of a gym, everyone knew everyone else here. That was everyone, except one name! It was this one name that now stood out to her, the name of a man that had been in and left, and by the looks of it he'd left only a short while ago! Rebecca checked with Jackie who the new man was, she was told he'd only joined the other day, "just moved here, he's a keen cyclist, got some flash bike, you must have almost bumped into him, he's only just left." Rebecca most certainly had! The woman smiled, 'found him' she winked at Jackie, an indication there might be some fun required later and moved on into the gym, she might not have found her man, but she'd identified him! Suddenly Rebecca found herself in a good mood, a very good mood, it was time to have a good workout and then maybe have some fun! Rebecca made her way through the gym to the women's changing rooms, she was feeling good having identified the cyclist, and now it was time to ... ... Just then something caught her eye, something or maybe someone! The gym was quite empty just now, looking through the signing in book told Rebecca that, but the people that where here were some of the more 'interesting' members of the gym. Some of these interesting people where the Savage family, Mr & Mrs Savage and their children Vicky & Tommy and now it was two of these family members that had caught Rebecca's eye. Over in the weights area was Mr Savage, John, and his Daughter Vicky. The tall, strong man was laying back on a bench, arms out to the side holding a dumbbell in each hand. He'd been in this position for a while now and there was a slight shake now appearing in each arm, but he was holding his position. There was determination on his face as he was trying to hold this position for as long as he could. But there was a good reason he was trying so hard to keep those arms out, and that reason was stood on him! 'Stood' on John Savage's stomach was Vicky Savage, his Daughter and a teenager with a particular fierce attitude, and way about her. The girl was looking at her watch "you still have 10 minutes to go, remember if you let go, if an arm falls down too low, or you just 'give up' then your time as my kicking boxing punch bag, doubles from 20 minutes to 40!" The girl smirked down at her Father as his arms gave another slight shudder. Vicky giggled slightly as she stepped around in a small circle, still stood on her Father's stomach, just to make his 'task' a bit more difficult. John's arms wobbled, one dropped quite low but he managed to quickly get it back up to the 'correct' height. 'That was lucky', as Vicky's back had been facing him at that moment, she hadn't seen it, so John had got away with that. But now his Daughter had turned completely around and was back facing him again, and now she raised one leg, as she practised her balance on his stomach. Once again the mans' arms gave a shudder! Rebecca smiled as she carried on, she'd seen the way Vicky practiced her kicking boxing moves. So, for her to use her Father instead of the normal punch bag was an 'novel' idea and a quirky twist from the girl. A little way further on Rebecca passed a doorway that led into one of the side rooms, a turn of the head and look inside and there was Mrs Savage, Beth and her Son, Tommy. The room was used for various different actives and groups and covered in matting. In the middle of this was the youngest of the Savage children who was being held in a very tight, very firm and very painful hold, a grip, by his Mother. The young lad, the Son was on the mats, the woman, his Mother was behind him, holding him. Her legs around his waist crushing him, at the same time she had hold of each of his arms, to complete her control of him. She had his arms crossed over, pulling them back behind him, making Tommy's positions even more uncomfortable, unbearable, and of course very painful. Her strong legs squeezed his body, her hands gripped his arm, pulled them and the rest of his hurt body backwards, she applied the pressure, anything to make it more agonising for Tommy. Anything to make him ... ... ... "Submit, Submit, Mum, I Submit!" There it was done. Beth squeezed, and yanked back one more time then pushed him away from her and realised her Son. As a hurt Tommy rolled over Beth jumped back up onto her feet and walked around to where her Son lay, she placed her foot near to his head. "You lost, again. You know what to do!" Tommy coughed, caught his breath and moved closer so he could kiss his Mother's foot, his admission of defeat and her acceptance of his unconditional surrender! Rebecca's smile grew as she moved on, the Savage family, where ... ... Well to this woman she could see the appeal this family had! Seeing the Savage's gave her a sudden urge for something, a 'need' for something. Rebecca knew that if she saw what she wanted, then she'd have to ... ... 'OH Yes!' She was now in a long corridor, and had stopped next to two doors, just short of the female changing room, she looked into both rooms, and grinned. She walked into the room on her right, a weights room, and closed the door behind her. Inside was a stocky man with his back to the woman who was setting up for his session. Rebecca knew she needed two things, one to get rid of her frustration, physically, and the other, 'to get rid of her other frustration physically!' As she walked into the weights room she picked up a medium size dumbbell, walked up behind the man and tapped him on the shoulder. When he raised himself up and tuned around and saw Rebecca, his face went white, WHACK! The woman's arm came around towards him, so did the dumbbell! It was a hard blow and once she'd hit him, and he'd wobbled, just a bit, she dropped the dumbbell on his foot. No need to use that thing anymore, not when she could have some fun using her fists, well she did want to enjoy this. What followed was about 10 minutes of Rebecca taking her frustration out on the man, she slammed him, she hit him, she beat him hard. When she finished the man was a mess, she'd quite enjoyed herself, but still she wanted 'something else!' When she came out of the weights room Rebecca's moved across the way and into the second room, in there was the man's younger Son. The woman knew both of them, recognised their names for earlier and liked these two, she knew at some point she would want both of them, for one reason or another! In the second room the woman got undressed, then made her way towards the sauna, pulled open the door and there inside was the young lad! He was hot, sweaty and young, she liked that. He was about to come out when a naked Rebecca had stepped inside. The woman smiled at him as she moved in close, whip his towel away, ginned and now climbed onto him, she hadn't had sex with a young lad in the sauna for a while now, so this was long overdue! After earlier with the cyclist and then seeing the Savage family the woman knew she need 'something', and that materialist side she had came out. When she'd seen the man there in the weights room, she knew she 'needed to', she 'had to', hurt him. And as she saw the young lad go into the sauna, she knew she 'needed to', she 'had to', have him! It was that simple. Oh yes, she could have just walked by and carried onto the changing room, gone for a good workout, but that wasn't Rebecca. When she saw something she wanted, she'd take it! Whether it was to beat it up or to fuck it, she'd see it, she'd take it, so much for part 2 of her resolution! If Part 2 hadn't been achieved, so far, then what about Part 3, 'to maybe quieten down a bit, find the real her, not to be the loud, dominant, over bearing person she was normally. Calm down, take things in her stride instead of trying to manipulate and dictate how everything should work around her and her life!' In the coffee shop Rebecca reflected on this part of her resolution, but considering how she was at work yesterday, the woman knew she'd have to, for now, just shrug Part 3 off! 24hours ago Rebecca had been at work, taking part in a team meeting with her colleague's. But maybe in reality she'd been working on her colleague's! The meeting hadn't gone well, as the team discussed the direction of policy and strategy. The rest of the team she was part of all wanted to go one way and she was determined to go the other. So, it was up to her to bring the team around and get them all on her side and thinking her way! Or was this a case of Rebecca manipulating the team to do what she wanted, either way it was going to end bad for someone! The team consisted of four men and Rebecca, the only woman and a fact that already had brought some tension to the team. But with an obvious difference in ideas a meeting had been arranged to sort all this out, the team leader Steffan wanted to get everyone together to iron all this out. To try and get the team to move forward, together, where as one person here just wanted everyone to do what she wanted! Five minutes into the team meeting and the woman had to be a bit more forceful with her opinion, just to make sure everyone really understood her point of view! It had been a short, sharp exchange of options, her options. A one-way discussion that had favoured the woman and her view point! One of the men was lying on the meeting room floor, his head felt as if it was never going to stop spinning and throbbing like hell. His body hurt and his groin felt as if it was on fire after a particularly nasty thrusting knee was used to make a 'point!' Sat in a chair was a second man who had his hankie out and was nursing his bloody nose. He'd made the mistake of telling the women she was 'wrong', and was now attending to his flat, broken nose, his black eyes where a minor point as he concentrated on stopping the bleeding. The third man in this group had faired just the same, he was on all fours on the floor, coughing and spluttering. He spits out, salver, blood and a tooth, he runs his tongue across his tingling inner mouth. He can taste the blood still there and the gap at the front where his tooth 'used' to be! The last man was Steffan, who was the last one standing, just about, and the only one left who was able to 'discuss' the issues with Rebecca, SMACK! OOOOHHHH! He stumbled backwards and fell back against the meeting room wall, Rebecca took a step closer to him, "as you've all now come around to my way of thinking I was wondered what your view was on me taking over as the team leader from now on ... ... " Steffan wiped the blood away from his swollen lip and looked into the woman's cold eyes, " ... ... well what do you say to my idea?" Back in the coffee shop Rebecca had to concede that just maybe she hadn't got to grips with this calming down bit and that her normal dominate and dictatorial personality wasn't going to change overnight! 'Oh well!' So, what was left from her New Year's resolution, 'change her style, a new wardrobe and a new look, a new her.' Rebecca looked across at her reflection of herself in the coffee shop window, a 37-year-old tall, attractive redhead dressed in a long leopard skin coat. She knew she looked good, so why change? She looked out through the window, over the cycle rack along the front of the shop and into the street, when something caught her eye. Just then outside in the street a quite nice looking, sweet lad was walking past the window. He stopped as he caught sight of Rebecca in the coffee shop and the woman could see his young, cute face light up as he spied her. The lad saw a striking, sexy woman sat there and he was stunned by how gorgeous she looked, and 'was she looking at him?' Just then his Mother walked into the lad as he'd halted abruptly and now she was pushing him as she scolded him for his sudden stupid clumsiness in stopping suddenly! Rebecca laughed to herself, if she could have this effect by just sat in a coffee shop, did she really need to change, maybe the leopard skin should stay! That only left one last thing, one last part to her resolution, could she perhaps succeed with that? 'give up smoking!' She looked down at the packet of cigarette and lighter she'd automatically put down on the table next to her phone, it was so much of a habit that she hadn't even realised she done that. The woman picked up the packet, took out a cigarette, and placed it between her red lips, for no other reason but she wanted one, but also, she knew just how good she looked when she was smoking. Just then the Mother and Son from outside the window, now sat down at a table next to Rebecca and Lauren " ... ... why did you want to sit here, its much better over there ... ..." Rebecca, lit her cigarette and was about to tell the Mother 'it's because your Son wanted to stare at a woman, namely me!' But before she could make her 'comment' she was interrupted ... ... ! "There's no smoking in here, don't you know that!" The voice had a tone to it that Rebecca didn't appreciate, didn't like and wasn't going to take! She tuned her head to see a man stood next to her, he had a badge on his shirt that said 'Manager' but that certainly didn't impress. Then she looked up at his face, Rebecca looked at him and had this feeling that she recognised him, and then ... ... 'Oh My ... ... !' The woman's eyes flicked back over to the window, to the bike rack on the other side of the window, there! Her eyes came back to the man, the manager who was still talking to the woman about the law and smoking, or something like that, but she didn't listen. All she did was focus on his face, as she now recognised him! She did know him, she'd recognised him, she'd recognised the bike outside and realised that he was 'the cyclist!' Lauren could see all this and from what her friend had told her about the last couple of weeks, even she could now put this all together. Now, with a big grin on her face Lauren sat back and watched as Rebecca, with a cold look on her face slowly raised herself to her feet. The woman in the leopard skin coat stood there in front of the shop manager, she took a deep breath, then she grinned, smiled. The whole coffee shop was now watching as the manage was making his point, quite loudly and forcefully now, to this woman who had dared to light her cigarette up in 'his' shop, and ... ... WHACK! There was a flash of flowing red hair and of leopard skin as Rebecca's arm came around and her fist struck the man hard across his face. Then her leg shot out, her long black boot drove into his kneecap making him wobble. The woman reached out grabbed the man, with both hands, pulled him to her, CRUNCH! OOOOWWWW! Her knee slammed into his groin, then she turned, dragged the man up off his feet, she flung him over her hip and sends him crashing down into an empty table next to him CRASH! ARRRRRHHHH! Everyone in the coffee shop jumped as the woman slammed the manager into the table, Lauren just took it all in her stride, after all it was Rebecca and New Year's resolution or not 'A leopard can't change its spots!' Well this leopard couldn't, Rebecca would always be 'Rebecca!' As the woman took hold of the manager and dragged him back up to her, ready to have her long overdue 'quiet chat' with the cyclist. Lauren moved her chair closer to the table with the quite shocked looking woman and her Son. Lauren had also made her own New Year's resolution, but it wasn't about 'improving herself, like Rebecca's. Her resolution was more about enjoying herself, and was in two parts. Part 1 was 'places to enjoy herself' and Part 2 was 'people or groups of people to enjoy it with.' Lauren smiled as she leaned towards the older woman, the Mother and her young Son, "Hi there!" It was looking as if the coffee shop could be one place ticked off Part 1, and the good-looking Mother and her cute Son could, together, be another group to be ticked off Part 2. Rebecca carried on with a pounding fist into her cyclist 'friend', so much for her New Year's resolution, there was no way she was going to change now, 'Oh well!' At the same time Lauren moved in-between the Mother and her Son, she never expected to get the opportunity so early on in the year to tick these off 'her' list. A Mother and Son together in the coffee shop, a nice combination, but how was she going to get away with this ... ... ? Then Lauren had an idea, what she would do would be to ... ... !
