I guess I am an Amazon By Counselor Beating her husband makes her think she's an Amazon This young woman did not ask for any advice. I heard about her from a colleague who had talked with her husband. I thank her for allowing me to tape her story. Counselor. I guess I am an Amazon, at least that is what I think I am now. I heard about Amazons and then I looked up Amazons to see more about them. I never thought about it when I was growing up. I was well coordinated and athletic, but so were some of my friends. I became an Amazon because I married a guy who was athletic, too. He wanted me to do all sorts of athletic things with him, but he always wanted to win. I was always willing to have the man be better. I really didn't care at first, but he was always trying to out do me in everything. He wanted to know more, to be stronger, to be smarter, to be able to play any game better, to swim better, to tell me how to dress and everything. Whenever I won anything, he would get mad and want to do it over again until he won. That is just the kind of person he was. I guess a lot of men are that way. I got fed up pretty soon and began trying my best to beat him. When we would playfully wrestle around, he would always get me in a grip and hold me down. One day I was really fed up. I probably shouldn't have, but I grabbed him between the legs and before I knew it I had won. I couldn't believe that I had done it or how easy it was. I was afraid to let him go because I thought he would get even, but I made him promise not to and he didn't then. I can hardly tell you what it was like or how I felt. I felt like a new person. I liked myself and felt confident. I could not believe I had actually beaten a man, beaten my own husband. That is when I began thinking about Amazons. After that every time he could he would wrestle with me. He beat me a few times, but I learned his tricks and pretty soon I beat him every time. He complained and complained that I fought dirty and that I took advantage of him because he was a man, but I told him that was my equalizer and my winning was his problem, not mine. We had some real arguments, but I kept winning and there wasn't anything he could do about it. He got us fighting in the first place and he still starts most of the fights. He'll never rest until he can beat me regularly. A couple of times I did hurt him a little, but I never tried to. I just grabbed his balls and squeezed until he stopped fighting. Sometimes I have to do it real hard when he is wearing still pants. I wanted to beat him without having to grab him between the legs. I used to think about that all the time. Then one time it happened. He was on his knees bent forward so that I could not get at his crotch when I grabbed his right arm and twisted it behind his back. As soon as I did, I knew I had him. I held him for a while. I asked him to give up, but he wouldn't and I didn't want to hurt him. When I let him up, he blushed and kept blushing and would not look me in the face. Then I knew I had really won. After that I always tried to beat him without using my advantage and I have done it pretty many times. He still says it is unfair because he has to protect himself, but he is just being a poor sport. I love beating him and being the strongest. It was tough on his ego, but it has been great for mine. It was a real downer for him. I felt sorry for him in a way, but it has been a good lesson for him. For a while I thought he might ask for a divorce, but he has really been very good and accepted it much better than I would have ever thought. So that is why I began thinking that I am like an Amazon. It is the greatest high in the world.
