Shannon – Part 1 By The Collector Three not so bright boys learn a lesson or “I’m a Girl…of course I’m stronger than you.” Copyright 2001 The Collector Just a story about three boys who discover just how strong girls can be. Wish my summer vacation had been like this. Send comments to ChuckSt35@aol.com This story is verbatim as told to me by Shannon, a friend of mine. Since it’s her story, she’s also the narrator...I just did the typing for her. Every word is true...ya know I wouldn’t lie. * * * I was 12 years old when my two cousins, Jason and Charlie came to visit for the summer. I hadn’t met them before, so I was really looking forward to meeting them. They were bringing a friend, Nick along. Their parents were close and mine said they wouldn’t mind. Their dad was my mother’s brother...my uncle. Anyway, I was a little shy about meeting them since they were so much older and two of them were in high school. I was just hoping they’d like me When they arrived, they didn’t pay much attention to me. And I was always nice to them. I thought they’d at least treat me like a little sister, but they thought I was just a little girl and it really hurt my feelings. I was really pretty, and even well developed for my age, and tried to look nice all the time, but that didn’t work either. They were pretty ornery and even mean sometimes, and made fun of me for the stupidest reasons. Anyway, after the first couple of days, I just ignored them. I’d talk back once in a while when they got on my nerves but after the novelty wore off, I just spent my time with my friends Kelly and Erica. They were a year older than I was, but the three of us were different than all the other girls. We were all really pretty, especially Erica, but there was something else very special about us, which I’ll tell you about later. Erica was our unofficial leader too since she was the prettiest, and the smartest. While I was, and still am, the strongest of the three of us, she knew how to handle guys like them without getting her emotions involved. I just wished they’d make fun of her. She doesn’t take anything from anyone, no matter who they are. * * * The three of us were sitting in my living room one night for a sleepover. We were just talking and laughing when Jason, the youngest, came in from outside. I wasn’t smart enough to think of it, but we should have been wearing more than what we were. We were just wearing pajama shorts, really short, and T-shirts for tops, so our legs were bare. We thought we looked sexy, and we all wanted to show off, if only to each other. Jason walked in and started to walk through the living room, when he slowed down, staring at Erica. He had a toothpick in his mouth and just stood there, staring at her. "Jason, what are you doing?" I asked. "Mind your own business. Who’s she?" he asked staring at her still. Erica looked at me and rolled her eyes. "None of your business...why don’t you just go away?" said Erica. "You talkin’ to me? I’m just gonna stay here with you." And Jason sat down in a chair across from us, put one leg across the other, turned on the TV and acted like we weren’t there. "Jason, get out of here and leave us alone." I said. "Yeah right...make me. Keep quiet...I’m trying to watch TV." The three of us looked at each other, smiling. Erica looked at me as if to ask, ‘He’s your cousin...can I?’ I smiled back and shrugged my shoulders, curious as to what she’d do. She flung her strawberry blonde hair back, got up and went to the chair. She stood in front of him, her hands on her hips and looked at him. "She said leave us alone." She was calm, but we were dying to see what she’d do. "Hey, get outta the way...and leave me alone...before I move you!" Erica looked back at us and smiled. "Maybe you didn’t hear her...she said leave...or I’ll move you" Erica said. She reached down, picked up his leg and slung it off the other. Jason stood up immediately, not used to a girl telling him what to do and certainly not used to being physically threatened. He was at least 6 inches taller than her and 40 pounds heavier, but we knew what was going to happen. He placed his hands on Erica’s shoulders, and started to move her away. SLAP! As her hand went across his face. "Take your hands off me." She hit him so hard, he fell back in the chair. Then Erica reached down, and pulled him to his feet by his shirt. She pulled him so close their faces were only inches apart, but she had to look up at him. "Now are you going to leave?" she asked. Jason grabbed her hand, trying to push her away from him. It was fun watching him, especially the look on his face when he couldn’t make her let go. "No...let go of me...I can’t..." We started giggling watching him...Erica looked back and smiled at both of us, then her face got serious again. "Of course you can’t...maybe this’ll make you." She said. She slowly started lifting him off the floor, still only using the hand on his shirt. Erica’s muscle got big as she lifted him up. He couldn’t see it, but I think he may have been afraid if he knew how strong her muscles made her look. "Erica...you’re a lot stronger than he is...don’t hurt him," Kelly said. "Hey...hey...what’re you doin’...tell her to stop..." Jason looked genuinely frightened as she kept lifting him higher and higher...till her arm was stretched straight up. She looked up at him and asked, "You want me to stop?" "Yes...let me down..." Then she dropped him, and he fell on the floor right in front of her. Kelly and I started laughing as soon as he hit the floor. He started to get up, and then Erica put her hand on his head. He tried to rise, but she wouldn’t let him. Even with all the strength in his legs, he couldn’t budge her. He even tried shifting from side to side, but she’s so strong all she had to do was shift her hand. We kept watching, laughing harder, watching her make fun of him, and watching Jason’s face get red. "Jason?" she called. "Wh...what..." he answered, looking down at her feet. "What do you say?" "I’m..." "Look up at me Jason." She smiled down at him, easily controlling him. We’d never seen her like this, but we liked what she was doing to him. Jason looked up at her, and we noticed a tear in his eye. "Oh, have you been crying Jason?" she mocked. "Stand up." Jason rose from the floor and stood over her. "I’m...I’m sorry...Erica." "You should be...I could’ve hurt you if I’d wanted to. Now...leave us alone." He started to walk away, then turned back. "I didn’t think a girl...so pretty...could be so strong." "Better tell your brother...and Nick. And it’s not one girl Jason...it’s three...we’re all very strong." He turned and started walking upstairs. We heard him mumble ‘Bitch" on the way up. "Jason!" Erica called. "I said I got an itch...really." He said recovering. Erica looked at us and smiled. "If you say that word again, I’ll come up and scratch it for you...do you want that?" She was on the verge of bursting out laughing as she tormented Jason. "N...no...I’m sorry Erica...I mean...I’m OK..." As soon as he left, we got up and hugged Erica. Jason must have heard us, but we didn’t care. "Erica, that was so cool, you scared the daylights out of him. But he’s not going to tell them." I said. "I know...but tomorrow we’ll have fun with them...and so will you two." We stayed up a couple more hours then went to bed, having not seen Nick or Charlie that night. * * * We got up early the next morning and decided to spend at the least the morning by the pool. We went downstairs and found the three boys eating breakfast. Kelly and I sat down at the table and immediately noticed there wasn’t a chair left for Erica. "Jason" she said innocently, "I don’t have anyplace to sit." "So sit on the floor." Charlie said to her. "Jason...you don’t mind sitting on the floor do you?" "Oh...um...no Erica...you can sit here," he said getting up. Erica took his seat, then motioned to Jason. "Thank you Jason...sit down here beside me." Jason’s face turned red. He’d just been subtly embarrassed by Erica in front of his Charlie and Nick, and there was nothing he could do. He sat on the floor next to Erica’s chair, crossed his legs, and sat there, not knowing what to do. "Jason" Nick mocked, "You don’t mind sitting on the floor do you? Your brother’s turned into a little wienie Charlie...what gives Jason?" "Leave him alone...he just knows how to treat a girl" Erica said. She ran her hand down his face and Jason looked up at her affectionately. "Yeah right...let’s go guys," Nick said getting up from the table. "I’ll meet you guys outside." He said heading out of the kitchen for the front door. Kelly looked quickly at Charlie, then glanced casually at both of us. We both smiled, wondering what Kelly had in mind. Charlie got up and started to follow him. He was sitting in the chair in the corner and had to get by Kelly to leave the table. As he started to walk by, Kelly put her leg up, resting it on the refrigerator, preventing him from getting by. "Move your leg...or should I move it for you?" Charlie asked. "Didn’t you forget something? Who’s going to clean up after you and Nick?" Kelly asked. "That’s girl’s work...now move it." He reached down and grabbed Kelly’s leg. He was going to try and move it when her hand came up. "SLAP!" Charlie flew back into his chair and his cheek turned red immediately. Kelly looked at both of us, a wide grin on her face. "Hey...that hurt...how’d you..." Charlie said rubbing his cheek. "I think it’s your work, Charlie...I want you to clean it up." "No way..." Charlie got up and started to walk past Kelly again, tried to bolt past her leg. As soon as he got close, Kelly reached up and grabbed his shirt. "Hey...let go..." His hands reached for hers, the same as Jason had tried with Erica. Hard as he tried, he couldn’t budge them. She lowered her leg to the floor, then started pulling Charlie down. He tried to resist, putting his hand against the fridge, and then one of his legs for leverage, but it was obvious Kelly was much too strong for anything he could do. She kept pulling him down further, almost effortlessly, a look of bewilderment on his face. We’d never seen Kelly like this. She had a strange look on her face, as though she was getting off on her own strength. I happened to look down at Jason and saw his hand resting on Erica’s thigh, her hand clasping his. He was smiling, restless, as Erica held his hand tightly. Kelly pulled further as Charlie finally came to his knees. As he looked up at her, he looked genuinely frightened, afraid of her. "How...how’d you do that...?" "Do what Charlie?" she asked as though nothing had happened. She then pulled him up slightly, bringing his face to hers. He started sweating, as though expecting something to happen. "You just...you seem like you’re..." "Seems like I’m what, Charlie?" "Well...like you’re...really strong..." "I’m very strong Charlie...haven’t you ever met a strong girl before?" Her face was only an inch or two from his. She held him tightly and we could see him trembling slightly. "N...no..." "I’ll bet you’ve never seen a girl’s muscles before either have you?" "Wh...what? Girls don’t have muscles...do they?" "Show him Kel." Erica said. "Wow...cool" Jason said silently. "You want to see my muscles Charlie?" "Wow...I mean...yea...sort of..." "Maybe later...after you do the dishes...we’re going out by the pool." "Oh...the dishes...?" Kelly let Charlie go. "Yes...but I want you to stay there on the floor until we finish breakfast. Is that OK?" Not that he had a choice. The two boys sat on the floor the next couple of minutes as we finished. We then got up and started out the back door. Jason got up just after we did and started out the door with us. "Jason...you stay and help your brother." Erica said. Jason’s day was apparently shattered as she said it. "And when you’re finished" Kelly added, "Bring us out some lemonade." "Erica?" Jason called. "Yes, Jason?" "Do you have...you know...muscles?" Erica looked at him teasingly. "Well, the stronger some girls are, the bigger their muscles are. Don’t you think a strong girl would have muscles?" "Y...yes...but you’re...too pretty to..." "Maybe...if you’re good...you’ll find out how big a girl’s muscles are," she said coyly. She was torturing him...and we loved it. We walked out the door and headed for the pool. We heard Jason and Charlie talking on the way out. "Charlie...do you think...strong girls are...you know...kinda cool?" "Well...yea...sorta...if you think they’re cool." "Um...yea...if you think so too..." "Well...I do if you do," he said as they watched the girls head for the pool. End of part 1.
