WONDER WOMAN : IDENTITY By Bandit chapter 6 of Fraulein Wonder Woman In the Reichtstag the Fuhrer ponders this Super Nanny whose gorgeous face is exactly that of America's Wonder Woman who he is informed is awaiting his presence in the Holtzen Castle ; captured by Field Marshal Fritz Holtzen; the Fuhrer detained by more urgent matters; and those twisted machineguns being reported as well from this scene of Nazi triumph; the Fuhrer estimates that , due to these extreme circumstances, Fritz Holtzen has put the fabled?? lasso of Wonder Woman to use upon the mysterious Wonder Woman her gorgeous self; that now does deeds for the 3rd Reich; just where Fritz Holtzen got this very impressive Fuhrer look and act alike; soon to be filling the ears of the Fuhrer. Something though as secret as Fuhrer impostors will deny the deserving Field Marshal any publicly awarded special medals. News and photos are everywhere in the war torn world, and indeed the gorgeous face of Wonder Woman the main topic of the A P wire photos worldwide; as the Fuhrer views his look alike, the free world views a Wonder Woman look alike. Americans too though credit the Wonder Woman looking nanny for her astonishing deed; German or not; she saved those children: on the minds of the free world too, as the twisted machineguns are highlighted by the Fuhrer smiling openly as these twists of ruination are photographed, is the Fuhrer's Master Race: could he have developed a super woman of the Nazis own? The Fuhrer though, a master at propaganda as well; the dead obviously all not German; and no one of authority actually saw the Wonder Nanny twisting the machineguns into ruin: what could the Nazis have aboard that train that could twist solid steel? ; perhaps the guns were brought aboard and then revealed as the doing's of the Wonder Nanny?; and down to the last on site witness the media gets the entire story of this obvious Nazi prevailing event; the two main witnesses of powerful authority, vanished; the Fuhrer and Wonder Nanny; throughout the Reich artists and designers are already at work on a much more glamorous costume design for Fraulein Wonder Woman, the Nazis new secret weapon. As the celebration in Holtzen Castle soon frolics with the return of fraulein Holtzen from amongst the kidnapped children; a secret toast is made to the gorgeous woman known to the press and media as Wonder or Super Nanny; the Holtzens are knowing fulwell just who that marvelous woman truly is. The phone congratulations from the Fuhrer, from the Reichstag; and Fritz's great plan praised to the highest level; and all is well and lips are sealed. ------------------------- "No they don't!" Wonder Woman informs the high command of America, of the Wonder Nanny being not! as German as the press and media initiated world wide. "The German children are just that , children." She enforces of her actions that actually served the Nazis well; but saved too the reputation of America, earlier press and media accusing the Americans of this lowly kidnapping deed The media not to be informed of the reality of the Reich's non existent Wonder Nanny; the president issues to keep the American people thinking that the Nazis have fully developed their Master Race; the American people to gain a boost in strength from this horrifying news from out of Nazi Germany "No! No thank you." Wonder Woman is soon telling every Hollywood studio, as they vie to immortalize her on the silver screen; smilingly with the warmth of love she informs one and all: "I'm already that; and there is! a war going on." She rejects all offers as they come in, in droves. In the promotion of War Bonds Wonder Woman eyes the Hollywood sceneful of props after props and more props; battle scenes are realistic but surrounded in cameras and crews with a skyful of wires and microphones that could smother the Luftwaffe. War Bonds are one thing, a picture of oneself with Wonder Woman yet a more valued commodity that redeems itself instantly; Hollywood's snapshot cameras taking in more cash than do the War Bonds; but funds are funds; a hug or slight smooch , extra with your purchased photo; except for the children, photo and hug and smooch free. Thumb and finger bent silver dollars are $20 and well worth it to see Wonder Woman just fold these silver pieces with ease. The long day of the War Bond drive comes to an end in Tinsel Town; party time for Hollywood; but not for Wonder Woman that knows that these elaborate cities of great wealth eat from the country's heartland of dimly lit nights of street light power only. Barely a trickle of neon sparkles from the main intersection of a small heartland farming town that has its doors of business locked up for the night; the streets bare and nary a whisper from a moving automobile; there indeed is a war going on; fuel here is mainly for the farming machinery; no parties, no glitter, no press except a small weekly publication of less than 10 newspaper pages; FFA ; PTA dominate the inner pages of the publication; the war the front page; America's superheroine just reaching this front page in a photo, but no one will know it; the fear of a Nazi super woman the story beneath the photo of Wonder Nanny of Nazi Germany. Motels here, none; hotel, closed; foot traffic on the main sidewalk just a solo echo of clickity softness from the colorful shin high red boots of Wonder Woman whose gorgeously bright blue eyes window shop in the deserted downtown of this two block long farming town. Wonder Woman ; in her quest for a cup of coffee, strolls upon the police station, a 24 hour service to the townspeople, if one calls the part time police chief or his deputy at their home number; phonebooth at the filling station, long closed for the night; Wonder Woman, no nickel coin anyway. Silently now though, passing by the station, a young boy on a bicycle, the only sole about now in the town; a hint of dawn beginning to brighten as well on the corn stalk supported horizon across a wide field. Observed by the unseen Wonder Woman, the boy speeds to the small stack of newspapers dropped outside the local press office door for distribution by the boy. The radio news of several days ago, the boy sees in a photo on the front page of the weekly; reading the news a few words at a time as he rolls up these papers one by one to band them for delivery. So intensely does the boy read and roll and band his papers; never taking his eyes off of that front page; that the redness with the white stripe that appeared just off of the dwindling stack after just a few papers were tossed aside alludes him. Out of total stillness though, as the white striped redness moves on the sidewalk so near by, the boy diverts his eyes from the everpresent front page of dull black and white and shades of gray. The awestruck boy meets for his very first time, a stranger in town at this wee hour; but yet not a total stranger, "Wo, ,Wo, ,,Wonder Woman?" The boy stutters out in disbelief as he looks around for any of the townspeople to witness his being with Wonder Woman, the boy knowing fulwell that no one will be there; as he wishes this was town meeting day in full swing. The boy's now trembling hand eases forward to reach out and touch what must be a dream he is seeing; if touch is made, the highlight of his young life is made as well; Wonder Woman is actually right here in his home town and he is here too, and no one else. Dreams, the boy knows, do not have reaching fingers of touch that smother his small hand lovingly; Wonder Woman is actually stooping and squatting down to his knees on the sidewalk position of newspaper wrapping. "You can take her!?" The boy's first vocal offering to Wonder Woman; the Wonder Nanny the boy's concern. "No problem." Wonder Woman smiles back at the boy that is swept into wonderland by Wonder Woman her very self. In making the boy's extra long farmhouse driveway bicycle riding totally unneeded ; Wonder Woman tossing the papers from the roadway over the hundreds of yards to the farmhouses' front doors; a walking pace full of chat is set and the papers soon delivered. The boy's pace side by side stroll toward the town's diner passes by the only automobile dealer's seemingly vacant lot; 3 cars in the half acre lot that before the war had several new cars for sale on display, the autos traded in, in the back of the lot. No new cars are produced; the war effort taking at least 60 cars worth of steel to produce one tank; and more car steel than this state has ever seen to produce even a hint of a battleship or aircraft carrier; the only aircraft here Wonder Woman's secret invisible plane landed in a field away from town; not even a bus line runs through here; nearest bus station 35 miles away. Inside the diner, as usual, sits the diner's pre opening first customer, the police chief; the diner's second customer, as usual, the boy, Gordie, all but entering as usual this morning; Gordie going in first to smooth as best he can the forthcoming shock wave that he knows might cause too much of a shock for the ancient chief; Wonder Woman standing out of sight until the boy does what she knows is the best in this situation. Automatically, Beth the diner owner sets up a glass of milk for the paperboy with the extra wide smile this morning; noticed by both the old chief and Beth, that offer out through wrinkled brows questions that need not be spoken. "I've got a hungry friend ." The boy inserts almost shyly as he begins his smoothing into what he must inform of; wrinkling brows even further. "Well!?" Beth shrugs out as no one is in sight; Beth suspecting that the boy has found a needy animal on his paper route this morning and is asking to admit the animal to be fed. The paper he dropped off earlier is opened to the front page; the boy now points at the photo of Germany's Wonder Nanny , on that front page sitting upon the service counter. "Wonder Woman said that she can lick her anytime!" Gordie snaps out to soothe the thoughts of the chief and Beth of Germany having anyone superior to Wonder Woman. "Doesn't say so here, little dreamer" Beth smiles back at the boy; that is undaunted by the fact that the article indeed mentions nothing of Wonder Woman saying anything about Wonder Nanny. "She's my hungry friend." Gordie eases in now as his shockproof plan rumbles on. "B---I ---G dreamer" Beth jests back to the obviously awestruck paperboy. "Six thousand miles that way,,," the chief points out, , "is Germany. Twelve thousand miles the other way , is Japan,,,,and you're telling us that uh! ,,,,Wonder Woman ,,,,is hungry here!???? in between." "Uh huh." Gordie verifies. "Well then," Beth offers aloud ; "Wonder Woman,,,come and get ! it!" She calls out as if serving a hungry workcrew. A totally unexpected, "Thank you." preceeds the star spangled easing into the diner by Wonder Woman, perhaps look alike, this gorgeous face never before seen in town except in photos such as Wonder Nanny this morning. ",,,And Hollywood is two thousand miles toward Japan." The chief inserts, not knowing really whether or not he is actually speaking or adrift in reality; he sees but is he really seeing what he truly thinks that he is; the mouth open expression of Beth, behind the counter verifies that he is; at least a Wonder Woman costume is present in this heartland diner. "Yes it is." Wonder Woman verifies the estimated distance from this diner to Tinsel Town, as she will accept breakfast before greeting this food producing town when it awakens fully. "Really!?" The old chief quests through his uncertain speech and squinted eyes; knowing that this is no place for national media attention; but is this really Wonder Woman? "Really." Wonder Woman admits as Beth will prepare breakfast; steady of hand only because of still lingering doubt; to actually meet Wonder Woman face to face, and not be surrounded by thousands of spectators and admirers would cause any common person to tremble. Having to prove her identity almost on a constant basis by her physical strength to wreck or ruin something of steel; as Wonder Woman insists upon paying for her meal, and snack to go, she pays with an ancient roman gold coin worth in the hundreds of thousands of dollars; she cautions against handling it too much for its meek gold value.
