Brenna shows Alex who's in charge
By AJ
Tired of her bullying brother, Brenna decides to teach him a lesson.
Fifteen-year-old Brenna laid on the couch, tired from the long week. Adding to her exhaustion was the awful fact that her parents were going to be out of town again for the weekend, leaving her sixteen year old brother Alex in charge. For years, Alex had bullied her, always insulting her and making her do whatever chore or task he should be doing for himself. Brenna hated being treated like that by him but she figured there was nothing she could do about it.
The door opened and to her grave disappointment, Alex walked in. He was lean and not exactly muscular, but he was a little on the tall side with blue eyes and thick blond hair. Brenna, meanwhile, was a few inches shorter than him with short red hair and brown eyes. Being smaller, she often felt intimidated whenever he showed any sign of anger towards her, afraid of what he might do.
Alex smirked when he saw her. 'Hey bitch, get me something to drink. Mom and Dad are gone and being in charge is making me thirsty.' Brenna HATED being called a bitch but normally did nothing to make him stop. This time, however, her emotions took charge.
'Don't call me that!' Brenna shouted. Grabbing an empty glass because it was the nearest thing, she threw it at Alex. He ducked and watched the glass cup shatter against the wall but when he towards her, she saw the anger in his eyes.
Brenna ran out the door while he yelled angrily. Adrenaline quickly kicked in and Brenna eventually realized she had been running for over ten minutes. Alex and their house were no longer in sight. Looking around, she realized she had arrived at the public library, and walked in, figuring she should kill some time while Alex cooled down and forgot about how angry she had made him.
She walked around the library, circling between various bookshelves with no idea what to read. She found herself in a sports aisle and casually began scanning the shelves. Baseball, basketball, bowling crowded one shelf but she did not want to read about those. Neither was she interested in any book about running or rowing. She was about to check some other bookshelf when something caught her eye. In between two books about soccer was an older book titled 'Self Defense: The Art of Hand-to-Hand Combat.'
Interesting, thought Brenna. She pulled it out and began glancing through the pages, impressed by all of the pictures of people demonstrating how to fight. Maybe even a girl like her could put this information to use. With her heart rushing, she found a service desk and checked out the book.
Over the next five months, Brenna read the book cover-to-cover. With her bedroom door shut late at night, Brenna practiced punching, kicking, and all sorts of different holds. She also took it upon herself to begin exercising more regularly, doing push-ups and lifting her dad's weights. Her parents and brother were surprised by this but gave it little thought but though her arms may not have appeared muscular, she soon possessed more strength than anyone would have expected of her.
Soon enough, Brenna began wondering if she would get a chance to put her new skills and strength to use. As it happened, her parents took off on another weekend getaway, leaving Alex free to torment his sister. Smiling cruelly, Alex told her to clean the house while he watched TV even though they were supposed to clean the house together while their parents were gone. Biting her tongue, Brenna did as she was told, while Alex watched an episode of a show, occasionally looking over at his sister, scrubbing the hardwood floors. When he became more interested in the show, Brenna sneaked off to her bedroom and shut the door. She had been waiting for this moment.
Wanting to look her best, Brenna brushed her red hair and put on her navy blue homecoming dress and slipped on a pair of short heels. She admired herself in the mirror and though she looked quite petite, she felt greatly empowered. With a smile, she walked out the room and marched downstairs.
Alex had turned off the TV and stared at her, curious why she was dressed like that and wanting to know why she hadn't finished cleaning the floors. With a strange smile on her face, she marched up to him.
'Alex, I've put up with your bullying ways for far too long. Today I challenge you to a fight!'
Alex looked confused for a moment before laughing. 'You? You want to fight me, Brenna? We both know you wouldn't stand a chance!'
Brenna's expression did not change. 'For too long, you've acted like the boss of me. Now I want us to fight to see who truly deserves to be in charge of the other,' she said firmly.
'No,' Alex said, laughing at the thought. 'This idea of a fight is stupid. I won't do it.'
'Why?' Brenna asked, smiling sweetly. 'Are you afraid of losing to a girl?'
As she suspected, that got his attention. He might not have sought out an actual fight but his ego would never let him back away from one now. She knew he would not let her challenge his manliness, not without consequences.
'Fine, you bitch' Alex replied, his eyes narrowing. 'I'll fight you right here. I hope you enjoy getting your butt kicked!'
Supremely confident that he would win, Alex raised his fists for battle. There was no way his little sister, looking like she was ready for homecoming, would stand a chance against a male like himself. He stepped forward and threw a punch but rather than knock her down, Brenna, raised her hand and swatted it down. Then stepping forward, she delivered her first punch. SMACK! Alex was struck in the chest and stumbled backwards, falling onto his butt. Brenna nearly squealed with delight. She had envisioned this moment for so long but it had felt better than she had ever imagined. Alex, meanwhile, was startled to have been knocked down by his sister but figured she was lucky and stood back up, ready to win the fight. He threw a left hook but this time she ducked under it, and quickly stepped towards him as her wrist shot forward, blasting him in the jaw.
'Something wrong, sweet little Alex?' she said in a honeyed tone.Â
'Shut up, bitch!' he said, hating the name 'sweet little Alex'. 'This fight isn't over!'
'Oh, I know,' Brenna said, smiling. 'I'm so glad it's not over yet!'
Irritated, Alex shot forward, hoping to break her face with his fists. But to his amazement, she seemed totally prepared. He fired a dozen punches at her but nearly all of them were dodged or batted down by her as she twirled around in her blue dress. Meanwhile she punched him a dozen times, striking him hard in the abdomen and face. When Alex tried to retaliate, she sidestepped his next blow before kicking him in the stomach with her heeled shoe.
Brenna laughed as she watched him double over from the kick. 'Do you enjoy losing to a girl?' she taunted. Standing upright, Alex's eyes narrowed in anger. 'You won't think it's so funny once I win this fight, you bitch!' he shouted.
'Oh, I don't think you'll be winning today,' Brenna said, giving him a curtsy, reminding him of her femininity. 'But I welcome you to try!'
Alex ran at her once again, throwing his fists wildly. But rather than unnerve the girl, he only seemed to make a fool out of himself. Brenna twirled away from his cumbersome fists, sending her female ones into his body with little resistance. SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! As Alex staggered in pain, clutching his bruising chest, Brenna taunted him once more.
'You sounded awfully confident at the start,' she reminded him. 'But the truth is, you just aren't very strong.' She fired a hand at his nose. 'And you aren't much of a fighter compared to me.'
Alex wiped at the blood from his nose, trying to think of something to say or do. But he was beginning to feel sore while his arms tired from all of his attempts to hurt his sister. Brenna, meanwhile, barely had a scratch, and spun around towards him, eager to continue humiliating her brother.
Like a rocket, Alex's arm shot forward, hoping to give Brenna a nosebleed like she had done to him. Cool as a cucumber, Brenna stepped back and grabbed his wrist, just like she had practiced from her book. Muscle memory kicked in and despite her small frame, she yanked his body over her shoulder, letting go as he crashed down onto the floor.
Brenna put her hands on hips and smiled at him. 'Are you ready to give up, sweet little Alex?' Alex rose up from the ground, hating that his body seemed to shake a little. 'Why don't you lie back down?' she said in mock sweetness, and snapped her leg forward, catching him in the chin, giggling at the sight of the male falling back down.
Alex rolled over as Brenna kicked his sprawling body. He then got back up, this time slower than before. Unsure what else to do, he pounced on to her unexpectedly and grabbed a handful of her red hair. By doing that, he hoped, he could drag her to the ground and defeat her there. Brenna, though hurt a little, was not about to be stopped. As she began to fall backwards, she grabbed onto his pinkie finger which was not holding onto her hair. With impressive speed, she wrapped her hand around his finger and twisted.
Alex cried out in pain, fighting back tears, and lost grip of Brenna's hair as she twisted his pinky finger before bending it backwards. By the time she let go, it looked dislocated and discolored. Alex fell backwards, crying in pain and humiliation.
With one swift move, Brenna grabbed him by his blond hair. 'I'm having a lot of fun, sweet little Alex,' she said with a wicked grin. 'Do you want to keep fighting?'
'No, no!' Alex said, as tears rolled down his cheeks. 'Y-you-you w-win!'
'Am I still a bitch, Alex darling?'
'N-no!' he said, crying as he looked at his hurt finger.
Brenna felt amazing. For so long, she had suffered at the hands of her blond-haired brother. Now, she had proven herself and was certain Alex would never imagine himself as in charge of her ever again. She thought she might dance or sing in celebration but before that, she wanted to punctuate the fight.
Alex lay in pain as Brenna ran downstairs. 'How could this have happened?' he thought. How could a 16-year-old boy like him lose to a pretty girl like Brenna?
A moment later, Brenna returned from downstairs, and Alex saw what she had fetched. In her hand was a wooden paddle from the Ping-Pong table in the basement. Alex tried to protest but Brenna only laughed. 'Sorry, sweet little Alex! But as a punishment for bullying me and for losing to a girl, you're due for a good spanking!'
Alex's sobs grew louder as Brenna quickly stripped him of his shorts and underwear. He wailed, both from pain and shame, as his sister spanked each cheek ten times, laughing as he sobbed while his butt grew red. When she finished, she reminded him that he would now be solely responsible for all of their chores and that he would NEVER do anything to hurt or disrespect her again or else she would be happy to teach him another lesson.
