MAITE, REPLACEMENT CONCIERGE By Esper, esper_cl@yahoo.es Maite is a tall and strong girl who attended military school for some years. Now, she works for a while as a concierge in a building, in which she has several experiences. MAITE'S UNCLE HAS A PROBLEM. Tadeo is a partner of a building management company in Santiago, Chile. It serves eight buildings, for which it charges remuneration. As such, the concierges, the toilet of common areas of buildings, the hiring and supervision of the maintenance of elevators, gardens, gyms and other common services are at its expense. He has been in the field for years and has gained a prestige for being responsible and rigorous, and also for charging reasonable prices. In one of the buildings, one of the concierges had an accident that was going to put him out of work for at least a month. The additional complication was the accident occurred in the middle of summer and several concierges had gone on vacation. In fact, there were some concierges who worked part time and already were occupied them in the replacements. So they were all of them busy by now. Mentally he sought solutions, until he found something that could help him: his niece Maite. He knew her times could be accommodated, as she attended family business. WHO IS MAITE She is the daughter of Toribio, a colonel in retirement from the Air Force. Toribio and Tadeo are brothers. Toribio always wanted one of his sons to pursue a career in one of the armed forces. The two older brothers were not interested in it, and as the time came the only possibility was his daughter Maite. She was moderately convinced, but she applied for military school at the age of 18. Being tall and athletic, she smoothly approved the physical tests. She even realized he could do the bar push-ups they asked of men. She scored seven in push-ups and abdominals. In 2400 meters race she scored six. In Chile the maximum score is seven, so Maite's marks were very good. Similarly, in psychological examinations and written tests, the results were good. Finally she was accepted. The high score she got was a motivation for her to want to get in. Besides, once she left school, she wasn't sure what to study or to do. Maite attended the Military School from the age of 19, and graduated at 24. Then, and for long to explain reasons, she decided to withdraw from the army to devote herself to civilian life. The first thing she did was to study the career of technician in personnel management, as this would allow her to have at least a technical degree. When he finished his career, he was twenty-eight. From the age of twenty to twenty-eight she had a boyfriend, with who she was thinking about marrying. However, the relationship began to go wrong in the last year, and the breakup finally came. As a girl, she practiced martial arts. As the youngest of two male siblings, and tall and strong for her age, she always participated with them in rough games. He played football or football games in the neighborhood. She could do the same repetitions on a bar as his brothers did. Maite is 1.81 (five feet and 11 1/4 inches) and weighs solids 76 kilos. It is dark brown hair and straight, brown eyes, straight and long nose. She wears her hairt at different lengths, depending on the time. She is easy to dress, although try to do it tastefully. She wears little makeup. TADEO TALKS TO MAITE TO PROPOSE TO BE A CONCIERGE Finally, Tadeo called Maite, and proposed what he was thinking. They met in his office. TADEO: I'm missing a concierge and I need a one-month replacement. And I thought that person are you. Anyway , we could need you stay one or two more months after replacement. MAITE: What???????? TADEO: What you hear. If in the future you're going to work in companies like mine or security like your dad's, so being a concierge for a month is going to be a good experience. MAITE: mmmm And what do I have to do? TADEO: I have a concierge manual, the one I can pass you to study. If you have questions, you may ask me. With the military training you have, it'll be easy for you to do it. MAITE: Do I have to receive deliveries, correspondence, watch TV screens, receive visitors? That? TADEO: Yes, that. MAITE: And do I have to make cleaning? TADEO: Only from your workspace if necessary. Day by half a cleaning company comes. MAITE: And what if there is a criminal fact? TADEO: It's not the concierge's job to deal with them. If you see something like that, you call police, on the quadrant plan phone. Only if you're attacked can you defend yourself. It's anyone's right. If that happens, you have to reduce the attacker as much as possible and avoid braiding in a fight with punches. But I insist, if nothing does to you, nothing may you do, except if you see it with a gun. MAITE: I get it. TADEO: There is something very important that I must warn you, at the risk of you bothers. MAITE: I'm already imagining it... TADEO Let's see, what do you think I'm talking about? MAITE: I must not have any relationships of any kind with residents of the building or with employees. TADEO: Exactly. That's very delicate. We had problems a long time ago because a lady claimed because she said a woman concierge was flirting with her husband. MAITE: Haha And did she? TADEO: We don't think so. It was the lady's husband who flirted with her, and even harassed her. The lady noticed and was jealous. And it was her who asked us to get the concierge out. MAITE: and what did you do? TADEO: We're forming a counseling in a building far from that. We offered to go to that place in the same working conditions. To everyone's fortune, she agreed. MAITE: Okay. I'm interested in what you offer me. And what would be the economic conditions? TADEO: Since you're working at your dad's company, you're going to maintain the same conditions. There you earn a lot more than the concierges earn. I mean, you're going to be on duty. I already have an arrangement with your dad to make up for your salary. That's the same for you. MAITE: Okay. When do I start? TADEO: Monday. You have to always be with your hair taken. Avoid wearing makeup. And I'm going to pass you a blue cotona used by our concierges. Always wear pants, preferably jeans. As footwear, it is preferable that you wear sneakers. MAITE: Understood. She's been getting ready for the weekend. He called his uncle Tadeo several times to ask him questions. MAITE DEBUTS AS A CONCIERGE The building is located in the commune of Las Condes that corresponds to the upper neighborhood of Santiago, and the apartments were of people of affluent class, without being rich. The first few days were pretty nice. The people in the building greeted her gently and asked for her name. She gave them to him. She was struck by an owner, Mrs. Patty, who was a tall, mature blonde, Chilean of German ancestors. He told her that it was the first time they had a female concierge and also so high. Maite estimated it was about the size of her. A little taller were Patty's daughters, who came to visit her frequently. She was also struck by a couple in whom she was very blonde, tall and burly, higher than the man she lived with. She later learned that her name was Stephanie and that she had been a famous hammer thrower. She did not feel harassed or seduced, even though the men looked at her quite a bit. They were especially kind. They introduced themselves, welcomed him, and asked for her name. The only one who was kinder on the bill was an 18-year-old boy, the only child of a marriage. His name was Stephen. He looked at her a lot and tried to make conversation. Maite always answered, as far as possible with monosyllables. It was about you, as the protocol indicated. Despite that, Stephen was tuteing it. One day Stephen turned to her as she arrived at the building. STEPHEN: I just find you very attractive. I've never had sex, and I'd like to start with you. Maite wasn't entirely surprised. It was very obvious to her that the boy liked her, and that sooner or later something was going to tell her. She kept the expression serious and addressed the boy. MAITE: I'd rather realize this didn't happen. It's totally out of place. STEPHEN: But... MAITE: First of all, I can't have relationships of any kind with people in the building... STEPHEN: What if you could? MAITE: I'm not even going to put in that case. This conversation is over, please. From then on Stephen did not come near him again to converse. When she walked in and out of the building, he greeted her with a formal "good morning," "good afternoon," or "good night". Maite answered in the same words. However, sometimes Maite would look at him after saying hello. That gesture caught his eye and gave him some hope of having something with her. AN INCIDENT WITH VIOLENCE One day Maite arrived about 12 a.m. He had made a shift with another concierge in the building, named Rina, who had to do several things in the afternoon. There was still time to go, as Rina was retiring at 13 hours. They've been commenting on the news of the day. Maite took advantage of knowing the neighbors more, as Rina who was older told her who they were. They also commented on personal themes of each one. Half an hour later, the parking gate opened. A car was driving it. They looked good on the cameras and it was a resident who came in. Maite already knew her. He recognized her by the car. She was a girl in her twenties named Karina, and she lived with her parents on the 7th floor. What struck them is that before the gate closed, a young man walked after Karina's car. MAITE: Did you see that? RINA: Yes. I can't tell who the young man is. MAITE: What is Karina's car parking number? Rina quickly looked at the parking list, and replied to Maite that the girl's family has two spaces, the 36th and 37th, and that they were at first underground. MAITE: I'm going down. Stay tuned for what's going on. RINA: Okay. Be very careful and take the intercom. Maite headed to the parking lot, and when arrived, she saw Karina in an angry discussion with the young man. MAITE: Miss Karina. Is there a problem? THE YOUNG MAN: There's no problem, and stay out of it. KARINA: Yes, there is a problem. He's my ex-boyfriend. I broke up with him two weeks ago. And he showed up all of a sudden. She then addresses the young man, whose name turns out to be Marcellus. KARINA (in an angry tone): Marcellus. Beat. I don't want to talk to you. It's all over. MAITE (addressing Marcellus): Sir, you will have to withdraw. This place is for resident and you are not invited. MARCELLUS: Go back to your workplace, stupid! MAITE Sir, you have no right to insult me. MARCELLUS: Get out of here, fool. Or else I'm going to get violent. KARINA: Sir, you must leave immediately. Marcellus was very upset. He thinks of giving Maite a push, putting his hand on her shoulder. She grabs his arm and bends it, so he throws a howl. He lets go in the hope that the incident will end. Marcellus then hits her in the belly. She gets to react and makes her tough, so it doesn't hurt her. She had enough muscle for it. In addition, the karate years had taught her to endure blows. Marcellus was astonished to realize that he had not hurt him. Karina looked astonished, too. Then Marcellus threw a fist blow at him. She then dodged him, grabbed his arm, made him a key, threw him to the ground and immobilized him. With that the young man was reduced. He couldn't let go to leave. MAITE: What do we do? Shall we call the police? KARINA: Let me talk to him. MAITE: Okay. I'm going to keep him immobilized. KARINA: Marcellus. What you did was very wrong. We can send you to jail for assault. I can testify how you attacked Maite and she fought back. MARCELLUS: Let me go, and I promise not to give any more trouble. KARINA: I believe in your word. Maite, can you please let him go? MAITE: I need you to retire right now. MARCELLUS: Well, I will. Please let go of me. And I apologize for the things I told you. KARINA: Maite let him go. Together with Karina he was escorted to the concierge and retired. KARINA: It's awesome what I saw, Maite. You could reduce it without difficulty. MAITE: That's how it was. But it's important that you know that we concierges can't act physically on people. Just because the gentleman attacked me was that I could act. Even for insulting me, I couldn't have done it. KARINA: Don't worry. That's what I saw and I can tell anyone. MAITE: It is best that we keep this in reserve and that it is not known. Let's just leave a constancy in the newsbook. And if you agree, I'm going to ask you to sign it. KARINA: Sure, no problem. That's how they did it. Maite realized that Marcellus was scorned by Karina, without a doubt. She knew Karina had gone on a girlfriend with another boy, as she came with him to the building. Somehow he felt solidarity with Marcellus because the same thing had happened to her for not long A FIRST MEETING ON THE SUBWAY - MAITE AND MARCELLUS TALK One Wednesday afternoon Maite went to the nearest metro station to go home, as was her custom. As she passed through the tourniquet entering the platform, she heard a voice calling her by her name. It was Marcellus who was the boy of the incident. MARCELLUS: I just want to apologize to you. MAITE: All right. What station are you going to? MARCELLUS: The Dominicans. MAITE: You're going in the opposite direction as I am, then. If you want, come with me to the platform and we'll talk for a while. MARCELLUS (a little surprised): All right, let's go. They went down to the platform. They sat in the seats that were available. They let the first train through and started talking. MAITE: Are you telling me you want to apologize? MARCELLUS: That's right. I apologize again. I know it wasn't right for me to insult and assault you. And it was pretty expensive for me, because of the beating you gave me. I realized you are very strong. MAITE: Let's see. First of all, I accept your apology. I'm not going to tell you didn't act bad, because it was bad what you did. And believe me, I understand you, because I went through the same thing as you, and I reacted badly, too. MARCELLUS: Don't say! MAITE: Tell me about yours first. I understand you were hurting because Karina broke up with you. MARCELLUS: That's how it was. And it was a very negative and painful thing. Someone told him I'd dated a partner. And it wasn't true because all I did was drive her home after a study session at a partner's house. Then Karina broke up with me. Then She knew the truth, but She said he wanted to break up with me anyway because the relationship wasn't what it used to be. MAITE: And that hurt you... MARCELLUS: That's how it was. And I knew she'd been dating another guy. And I was left with doubt whether she had left myself for him or not. MAITE: And why did you walk into the parking lot behind her? MARCELLUS: Because I wanted to talk to her. He didn't receive me in his apartment, as you know, and he wouldn't answer my calls. I wasn't going to assault her, but when you showed up, I lost control, and that's why I acted like this. MAITE: I get it... MARCELLUS: You want to tell me something about yourself? MAITE: Okay. I'm going to sum up the story. MARCELLUS: I hear you. MAITE: I was dating a guy for three years. We were getting married. We had a date and everything. It was going to be a private ceremony, but by the size our families weren't going to go less than forty people. Suddenly, he said she didn't want to marry me and he ended the relationship. MARCELLUS: Anything else? MAITE: He told me that he was having fun for six months with another girl and that she had asked him to finish me off for whatever theirs was more than a serious relationship. MARCELLUS: And you suspected something? MAITE: I had some suspicions, but I wasn't sure. I finally found out because he told me. MARCELLUS: And what did you do? MAITE: So far I would have assumed it, because I had no choice. I had to live my love duel. I suffered a lot because I really loved him. And ending one really hits self-esteem. And you know that as well as I do. MARCELLUS: Of course I do. MAITE: What happened is the guy didn't find anything better than making fun of me. One day he showed up near my house and told me he didn't like three-body closets anymore. MARCELLUS: I guess I was saying it because you're tall and solid. MAITE: Sure, and at the time he told me he liked it. MARCELLUS: And what else? MAITE: We kept arguing, until I couldn't take it anymore and punched him, the one he hit on the side of his chest. He came over to hit me, but with my strength and knowledge of karate I beat him up. He had to to be taken to the clinic to be cured MARCELLUS: Well, mine was worse than yours, because you got provoked. MAITE: It's true, but I shouldn't have hit him first. MARCELLUS: So I got it cheap. It could have been worse for me. MAITE: It was just different. Yours was a situation of disorder and rule violation. My thing was a passionate fight. As I say, I don't justify you, but I understood perfectly how you felt, because I went through the same thing. MARCELLUS: Thank you. I really feel better after this conversation. MAITE: Me too. And you're with someone now? MARCELLUS: Well. I think we've developed confidence to tell you about me MAITE: Sure. MARCELLUS: I don't have a girlfriend, but I'm having sex with a fifty-year-old lady who lives in the same building as me. It's not something with a future, but I'm enjoying it a lot and it's helped me get over my disappointment with Karina. She smiled and nodded, not approving or disapproving of what Marcellus had just told her. They finally said good-bye. They did not exchange emails or phones, as Maite did not find it prudent because of the incident they had had. SECOND MEETING ON THE SUBWAY - SHE TALKS TO STEPHEN One Thursday, at eight o'clock at night, Maite was waiting for the subway on a platform to return home. Suddenly She sees that on the same platform was Stephen, the boy who had asked her for sex. He was in the company of a girl about his age. They see each other and say hello. It was a holiday so there were few people on the platform and trains. They get on the train, and Maite stayed a door away from Stephen and her friend. After three stations the friend descends from the subway, the one that was semi-empty. Stephen looks at Maite and gestures to her as if he could approach her for conversation. She nods. He chose to hold him, which he didn't do when he was a concierge. MAITE: How far are you going? STEPHEN: Until "Pajaritos" Station. That's where I take a bus to the airport. We're going to leave a schoolmate who's going to live abroad for a year. MAITE: I understand... STEPHEN: What about you? MAITE: Same station. Then I take a bus to Curacavi, where there's a family lunch tomorrow. Saturday it's my turn again at the concierge. This meant that they had a journey together of at least twenty minutes. Although the subway was not full, no seats were available, so they kept chatting standing. Maite was taller and had to look down at Stephen. She chose to touch on the theme of Stephen's attempt at seduction. MAITE: You're well self-confidenced, from what I see. STEPHEN: You're saying that because of what I proposed to you a couple of weeks ago? MAITE: Of course I say it for that... STEPHEN: Did it bother you? MAITE: No at all, because you weren't rude. In fact, I thought you were sincere. But I couldn't answer anything else. STEPHEN: I mean, do I have a chance? MAITE: Not so fast... hahahahaa STEPHEN: Concierges are forbidden to mess with people in the building, I guess. MAITE: It's not a law, but it's extremely reckless to do so. My uncle is one of the partners of the company that manages the building. And if I get in with someone in the building, a conflict of proportion can be made. STEPHEN: How old are you? MAITE: Twenty-nine, what about you? STEPHEN: Eighteen. MAITE: How tall are you? STEPHEN: One seventy-three (five feet and eight inches) MAITE: eight centimetres less than me. I am one eighty-one. STEPHEN: You can tell you're taller than me. MAITE: You like older and taller women, it seems. STEPHEN: Of course I do. I'm not going to deny it to you. And also the ones that are big and solid-bodied like you. MAITE: Thank you. I've got a lot of muscles. She then extended her hand and he reached out to hers. They touched each other by the palms. Maite realized Stephen was getting excited. His breath was shaking. He wouldn't look at his pants to see if there was an erection, but he figured it was. The two had also realized that her arms were thicker and stronger than his. It was mentally recognized that she was also getting excited. STEPHEN: Will you let me touch your arms and shoulders? MAITE: Well, touch them if you want to give yourself that taste. He did so, and perceived with his hands the hardness and size he had already deduced he had. He touched them repeatedly MAITE: You're too hot! I can't believe you're a virgin. STEPHEN: Well, yes, I am. MAITE: You better not touch me anymore. Someone can see us. STEPHEN: Since you find me sincere, I tell you now that I want even more to intimate with you. I've warmed up a lot in this time. And I really like you. MAITE: On Sunday, my replacement as a concierge ends. Did you know I've been replacing other concierges? STEPHEN: Yes, I know. After Sunday, you're not coming back? MAITE: I'm not coming back. STEPHEN: Can we meet after that? MAITE: I don't assure you I'm going to give you what you want, but we can get together, and we'll see there. Do you agree? STEPHEN: Yes, of course. Maite told him she was going to be the one to call him next Wednesday. On Monday, he had to change his cell phone number. She had decided to do it because a guy harassed her on the phone. He told Stephen she was going to call him to see each other. The station was approaching where the two had to get off. She told him she'd rather have them come down apart. Shortly before the train stopped, she told him to give him a hug. Stephen did not need to be repeated, and he heed and hugged her tightly. She put the cheek on her and he kissed her for a long time. NEXT THURSDAY After Maite called Stephen, they got together on Thursday, when it was a week since the conversation on the subway. The place was a caf located near two metro stations from Maite's house. It was a long way from Stephen's apartment. He arrived in his mom's car and the journey took more than half an hour. When they saw each other they hugged long and he kissed her on the cheek. They ordered a couple of juices and sat down to talk. They were the only customers in the place. She then took it by the hand. Neither short nor lazy he stroked her on the head and face, which she allowed. She then grabbed him by the leg and pressed her hard, so that it caught her in pain. "AY!" he exclaimed. MAITE: Didn't you like my strength? STEPHEN: Yes, but don't tear me apart. MAITE: Let's make amrwrestling. They stood up front and held hands in an overdue position. Stephen began to make strength and Maite yielded. When it looked like he was going to win, she started making strength until they returned to the upright position. Then she made strength and carried his arm ten centimeters from the table. He made every effort to put his arm upright, but he couldn't move it in the slightest. Then Maite made more strength and managed to fully bend his arm until the back of his hand touched the table. They realized then that she was much stronger than him. STEPHEN: I supposed you beat me. They took hands again. He moved to get closer. He grabbed her by the head and kissed her on the lips. Their tongues came together and played in different ways. MAITE: I'm alone in my house. Let's go and that's where we can get intimate. STEPHEN (with a big smile): Okay. Let's go. They went out and walked to Stephen's car. He grabbed her by the waist and she hugged him by the shoulders, showing once again the size and strength of his arms. Maite put his hand on the side of his opposite arm and pressed him hard towards her. He did so much by squeezing it tightly at the waist. They kissed passionately again. They headed to Maite's house in Stephen's car. They came to her house and did sex intensely. As it was the first time for Srephan, Maite gave him some directions. After a couple of hours they showered together. They went out into the back garden and Maite lifted and carried him it in different ways. SUBSEQUENT FACTS Maite was seeing Stephen for three months, in which they had plenty of sex. After that she ended the relationship, which left Stephen with great sorrow. She went on to be at the concierge for three months, and after that she returned to work at his dad's security company, on which she became his right-hand person. His military experience served her well to select and train the guards. Ten years later he met Marcellus, who as manager of a retail company had to hire Maite's security company. They quickly recognized each other and hugged themselves like great friends. More than once Maite went to Marcellus office to have a coffee and chat with him.
