Fight Den By Crossmanx at - crossmanx@hotmail.co.uk - comments and ideas welcome. Where do you go when you just want to enjoy a good old fashion, fight? Fight Den Mr Humphries was the school's History teacher and quite a good one, he enjoyed the subject and his knowledge was second to none, well at least at this school it was. It was the last lesson of the day and to make it a bit more interesting the teacher had mixed this lesson up a bit with his classes last lesson, which had been sport, or was it P.E. So, Mr Humphries was going through some of the different sports in history and how they had changed, just a bit. This was also one of those difficult classes, class 5D, where the students in it couldn't be called the school's high achievers, more like the school's low, even none achievers. So, any lessons involving this group had to be made a bit more interesting so there could be some chance of holding their attention and maybe learn something! Ralph, Mr Humphries, went through some of the older sports and games played in this country, of course he added a few 'interesting' facts to liven the lesson up and keep the students interest levels high. Or just getting any of their interest level moving would be good. He went through Football, of course, telling the students how years ago this was played by two different villages miles apart and there was no pitch, it was just played over the fields, hills, rivers between the villages. There were no referees, which actually produced a conversation about how good that would be now days. Plus, people had even died in these games, that got a lot of attention. Then it went onto horse racing and how children where used as jockeys and again if they fell off sometimes, were often injured and again some died, the girls didn't like that one much. Followed by how pub darts even ended up in a court to prove it was a sport and there was skill involved. This started the obvious class 'debate' off about was it really a sport or was it just played by fat men drinking beer? Ralph wasn't sure which side won that argument and so moved onto to boxing and how it was bare knuckle in 'the good old days', one cheeky lad asked 'sir' if they could watch a demonstration of this? Ralph was tempted as that particular lad could do with a good ... ... ... ! The teacher went through all the old gruesome, bloodthirsty sports like boxing, wrestling and cock fighting, well is was an old fashion sport. At this point one girl in the class had that confused look on her face and had to be stopped by her friend's from asking the 'obvious' question about cock fighting! Someone asked a question about these 'sportsmen' getting paid, being famous, being celebrities. He was obviously trying to compare all this to today's footballer's, and modern sports superstars. Ralph got into his stride here as he told the class about characters of old, the superstars of the past, like Jem Belcher, Tom Cribb and Tom King who gained his title after a 21-round fight. That got a lot of interest, as did the celebrity treatment these men got and the bets that where placed on these types of fight. He was really getting the class's interest when, "Oh cock fighting, I get it now you mean chickens!" There was a moment where the whole class was silent and every was looking at Emily, the girl who'd been a bit slow with all this. Followed by some laughter as everyone realised, 'typical Emily!' Then Crystal put her hand up, Ralph was a bit worried as she was probably the most, grown-up, 'developed' girl in the class. She also had a very certain way about her, in what she said, what she thought, how she looked and what she did! "Sir, have you ever been in the ring? I mean you look fit enough ... ... to go in the ring that is!" There was some girly giggling from the back row as the overly smiling girl finished her 'question.' But Ralph was saved as just then the bell went, he lesson was over, and the students where all packed up and in a flash class 5D were all heading out of the door. Well, not everyone was that quick, Crystal was the last to leave, she was being deliberately slow in pack her things away. She had this grin on her face and as she turned to finally leave she raised her hand and playfully drumming her fingers up and down in mid-air, a cheek 'goodbye' to Sir! Ralph just wasn't sure about Crystal, the girl had trouble written all over her, even so Mr Humphries was pleased with how that lesson went. It actually seemed as if class 5D had been interested and maybe they had learnt something? OK it tailed off towards the more gruesome and violet sports over the past 300 hundred years or so and the sport department would probably have liked a lot more of that, 'it's the taking part that counts', rather than 'how much did they get paid?' and 'did anyone die in this?' But overall it went well. Later that day after school had finished, all those horrible kids had left the premises and after all the after-school clubs where over with. Even after he'd managed to get some, quite bad, homework marked, Ralph found himself in the pub with a small group of other teachers. Sometimes it was only after a drink that any of that day would make some kind of sense to any of them! A couple of drinks later and Ralph said his goodbye and headed off, when he got outside the pub he should have turned right and then it would have been a 15-minute walk to where he lived. Instead he turned left just in time to nip across the road and catch the bus, 'right on time as usual.' It was a short bus ride and the Ralph found himself on the edge of the city centre, the bustling city with all those bars, clubs, cinemas, theatres and restaurants. But he wasn't heading to any of these, none had the sort of 'entertainment' he was looking for tonight. There was now a short walk for the main road, down a few side roads, lined with office blocks, then through an alley, along another road and into an industrial area, again down yet another alleyway and Ralph had reached his destination. It didn't look much of a place, nor did the door that was there in a small non-descript building, sandwiched between a small metalwork business and a car repair garage. He knocked on the door and looked up to a small security camera that anyone just passing probably wouldn't have even noticed. A few moments later the door opened and Ralph stepped inside. He's stepped into a small room, quite bare, with a couple of large men sat at a small table playing cards and one man stood up who was now checking Ralph. A quick check of the man and his coat and he was now allowed through the other door in the room. Through this door Ralph now carried on, it leads to a metal staircase that went down one flight and came to another door. Knocking at this and again looking up at the camera. it then opened and finally Ralph was where he wanted to be tonight. Mr Humphries walked into what had been once a large underground carpark used to store cars and other vehicles. But now it had been acquired by 'someone' and was used for something completely different! The place was quite dark, there were some flashing lights and it almost had a dingy night club feel to the place, which in some ways was quite appropriate as this was a place to come and enjoy yourself. Along the far wall and some of the areas between the large concrete pillars that lined the old carpark and been boarded up with old wood. A handyman had constructed some kind of 'rooms', offices and there was one area where a homemade wooden bar had been built, if that was the right word. Ralph made his way to the bar and waited to get served, as he looked around he had to admit that some of the 'structures' here did look as if they had been knocked up by one of the school's woodwork class, they were 'that good!' Ralph got to the bar as a man with a blond on one arm and a brunette on the other moved out the way and now headed towards one of those makeshift 'rooms.' As he got his drink and turned around a nice looked oriental woman in a very tight dress walked by, stopped, looked at him and smiled, 'she was very nice!' Ralph smile back, "later Petal, I'm going to watch the show first." Petal was a bit disappointed as Ralph was one her best customers. Just then Glen came up and slapped his friend on the back "going to watch the show?" Ralph smiled "of course", Glen pulled out a wad of notes and thrusted them in the oriental woman's direction "Petal, the wife's over there, she doesn't like these shows much, keep her company will you while we go and have some fun!" Petal took the money smiled and turned towards where Glen had pointed, sat at the end of the 'bar' was a bored looking, very attractive, busty blond, Glen's wife. The oriental woman stuffed the money down her cleavage, smiled and went over to make friends with ... ... ? Didn't know her name, but Petal didn't mind, she'd be sure to find it out at some point. As she moved over to the bar Petal's arse swayed, the oriental woman smiled, she'd 'do' the gorgeous blond for free, Glen's wife looked that good, and maybe finally Petal could really have a good time here, for a change! With the wife taken care of, so to speak, Ralph and Glen made their way towards the far side where the first piece of entertainment, the first part of tonight shows was going to take place. There was a ring, a boxing ring, well sort of, it was square, four posts, one in each corner and ropes going around to each corner. But it was half the size of a normal boxing ring, and at ground level, there were no seats, plus there were no chairs to sit down a watch at a polite distance. The audience would have to stand and could be right up to the ropes, right up close to the action. This ring was a lot like those used way back in the days of those bareknuckle fights that Ralph had told all his students about earlier that day. The ring that he'd described so well to the student of class 5D and now the teacher was walking by the side of that ring, now there was a coincidence! The wall nearest to the ring had a large blackboard on it, there was a long list of names and then various odds which were constantly been crossed out and rewritten by a very small man in a suit who was stood on a chair and quibbling with the group of punters gathered around trying to place their bets. Ralph looked up and down the board and smiled, he'd already sorted out his bets and by the current odds showing he done his business exactly at the right time. As always there were a few name changes, here and there but Ralph knew that would always happen. As these participants moved around the country, from town to town, and city to city, changes could always happen. After all they took part in these events sometimes on a daily basis, which meant that there were always those occasions where an injury would accrue. An injury that could stop a fighter from taking part in their next scheduled event. After all, these events where booked, arranged and odds where set sometimes months in advance. It was all part of the game, all part of the risk, placing a bet on a match taking part in 4 weeks' time and not knowing what state each contestant would turn up in. But that's where the money could be made, the long-term bet, when the odds were at their highest, if you wait until the day of the match then those odds have come down, drastically. Plus, the more money you put up front and as early as possible the much better the return, and for Ralph this 'risk betting' was, had, for him paid off, literally. Teaching was never going to make him rich, and he certainly hadn't entered the profession to make a difference to kids' lives, likes those in class 5D! But a few bets here and there had made a difference, and when he'd made a few 'pennies' and put them aside, it meant his next bet could be even bigger. But there was also a down side to all this. Yes, the bigger the bet, and the earlier it was made, then the bigger the winnings. But there was also that chance, and maybe a good chance, that the contestant you'd bet on all those weeks ago, could pick up an injury, and not be there for your big money winning fight. There was always that chance, but that was half the thrill, the enjoyment, the nervousness of placing such a large bet. It was the excitement, and that slight tingle that went down his back, as he studies the blackboard, a teacher taking in what was written on a blackboard, that had to be different! So, for tonight as Ralph scanned the blackboard for all that evenings matches and who was taking part he breathed a sigh of relief. His man's name was still there, for his big money winning fight, his man was still going strong, his man was still going to 'win!'. But now there was that 'other' factor to take into consideration, the opponent! Ralph's man 'Bomber', a stage name of course, well he was sure it was, 'Bomber' was looking OK to fight, but his 'planned' opponent had changed! Bomber had been planned to fight 'The Bear', another stage name, even though Ralph had heard his real name was Teddy! The Bear was out for tonight and been replaced by 'Gem.' This was a new name, and a stupid one, to Ralph, new on the circuit he supposed, but it also meant that the man didn't know what sort of fighter this 'Gem' character was, didn't know his style, how good he was. There were a few nervous butterflies from Ralph, he didn't like the 'not knowing' bit, but it was all part of the winning and losing of the bet. Only thing was that this was going to be the largest bet that Mr Humphries had ever placed, potentially his largest win and of course his largest loss if Bomber didn't win tonight! So, there was a lot riding on this, but even so Ralph was confident, he'd followed the underground fight game for a long enough now, and he knew what he was doing. He knew it so well, he'd even taken part in a few matches himself some years ago. But he'd soon realised that the fight game wasn't for him, not that he wasn't tough enough, he possible was, not that he was afraid to step inside the ring with another fighter, he could do that. And not because he didn't have the 'killer' instinct to finish an opponent off and show no mercy, he could do that. But with the 'glass jaw' he had he'd soon found his 'Achilles heel', and in his game once you find your own weakness, then so do the other fighters! So that had been the end of Ralph's brief and unsuccessful time in the fight game. But it had given him an insight and more importantly he had now a good eye for a decent fighter. He somehow just knew who was good in the ring, who could last, but most importantly who was, possibly, going to win! With that sort of knowledge, that skill, and some luck, he now had a better 'chance' of placing that winning bet. Of course, he didn't have the Midas touch, but he did well enough, well enough indeed. But even so there was a lot riding on tonight's fight, a lot of money to either win or lose, a lot riding on the bet he'd made! As Ralph and Glen moved away from the betting area towards the ring both men's attention was gained, grabbed by a woman who had taken her seat by the ring. She found a high stool to sit on and marked out her position next to one of the corner post around the ring. She sat there quite elegantly, and had this defiant allure about her. Glen nudged Ralph, "how about a few rounds in the ring with that one? I certainly wouldn't say no." At the say time the man looked over his shoulder to make sure his wife hadn't sneak up close by and heard him. No, he was OK, she was walking off arm in arm with Petal heading towards one of the side rooms. The oriental woman should keep his wife busy for a while so he was 'safe' to letch and make comments like that. As Ralph and Glen took up their position around the ring and opposition to where the woman sat on her stool, she became more interesting to the teacher. The woman was probably in her late 40's, she defiantly had that older, mature woman look about her. But she also had a fit, sexy look too, dressed in her brown knee length boots and tight blue jeans. Then her well-fitting white top, with a suitably low-neck line for her firm looking breasts to show off and over this was a leopard skin pattern, long coat. Sexy, mature, trashy and somehow quite refine all at the same time. Maybe it was her obvious good looks, that bold fair hair of hers, those large blue eyes and full red lips. Maybe it was all of that, that gave her that more enhanced, more dignified look, a bit of class, even in leopard skin. But still there was a bit 'more' to this woman, more that you normally got from the women in this place and around the ring. But even so there where women here, good looking women, women with a bit of style, like Glen's wife, but they never came around the ring, they found their fun elsewhere. Not like this woman, she seemed different, so of course Ralph noticed her. Ralph could have stood there and watched the woman for longer, but there was a fight that was about to take place, followed by his winning to collect. Then once that was all done, then maybe he'd see if he could ... ... "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I hope you all have a drink, placed your bets and are ready to the first fight." Into the ring stepped Jimmy, the 'host' of all this, he was the face of whoever ran the place. Every 'entertainment venue' needs a showman and that was certainly Jimmy. He was in full swing with his greetings and getting the crowd worked up, just then an old man, in a dirty old suit, unshaven and looking as if he could do with a good wash came up to the ropes. Puffing away on his rollup the old man coughed and nodded to Jimmy stood in the centre of the ring, the old man was 'The Doc'. Well this might be an illegal fight den but even here they had medical cover, of sorts, just in case and The Doc had been providing his services to this fight industry for a number of years. The nod to Jimmy was to let him know that the two fighters had been checked and where fit and ready to fight. The Doc coughed some more turned and waddled away, heading off towards the bar until his 'services' where required. As The Doc left, Jimmy started off with his long-winded introduction and the first of the fighters came up to the ropes, bent down and made their way into the ring. "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you a man on his best winning streak ever, Bomber!" There was a cheer as the tall, broad, strong looking man walked around inside the ring taking in the applause of the audience. The man was in his boxing boots, and shorts, with just a couple of thin bandages then wrapped around each hand. Ralph could see that he looked in good shape, a few bruises and cuts, and considering the amount of fights that Bomber had been in over the past few weeks he looked OK. But most of all there was that look in his eye, this fighter was ready to win again, and that was what mattered. As the cheers died down Ralph noticed something, everyone around that ring had applauded Bomber, everyone except the older woman on the other side, she'd just sat there and stared at the man. Sat down around the ring and not applauding the fighters, there was something defiantly different about this woman! Once the commotion and applause had all died down Jimmy went about introducing Bomber's opponent, "Ok people you know that Bomber was due to fight The Bear tonight. But also, as some of you will know that even bears have to have their appendix out. So instead we have a newcomer to the fight seen and here for their first fight ... ... " Ralph's ears picked up, 'First fight, now that sounds good, Bomber's got all the advantages, he will win, all that money was as good as won already!' "Ahhhhhmmmm, their first fight in this type of match, and here, not their first fight ever!" Everyone looked over to the older woman who was sat on the stool, the one that had just interrupted and corrected Jimmy, out loud! It took Jimmy a second to recover from this, Ralph like everyone else was shocked, he knew there was something about that woman, and now it looked like she seemed to know something about the opponent as well, 'interesting!' Jimmy did recover, " ... ... er thank you for that, I think. As I was saying the opponent for this fight tonight is the newcomer and I'm sure she will be a bit of a surprise for you, I'm so sure she will. Here's Gem!" Ralph shock his head 'did Jimmy just say 'she!', No?' To his side the crowd moved out the way to allow the opponent into the ring and Ralph got his first view of ... ... 'she's a woman!' This opponent of Bomber was indeed a woman, and Ralph was having some difficulties getting his head around this. After all this wasn't your everyday, run of the mill, boxing match, it wasn't even just a bareknuckle match, this was a real fight, and so there was no place for a woman in this! But even so he'd heard some talk and a few women who'd tried to get into the underground fight game, but they were just rumours. Surly they were just a few stories told for a bit of fun, that was all. But now as the women made her way through the ropes and into the ring Ralph could see that maybe there was something to those rumours. The crowd where really up for this and so was Gem, the woman now strolling around the ring making sure that everyone could see who and what she was, a female fighter. But there was no mistaking that she did look quite fit, in more than one way. This woman, Gem was quite tall, ish, and had a well-toned, firm looking body, which could be seen quite easily due to the way she was dressed. Which was in a pair of proper training shoes, almost a slipper, but they showed well-formed legs off. Her legs were long and thighs where robust looking, not too big, just strong looking. Then she wore a pair of camouflage patterned shorts, the kind of shorts that clung to her well rounded and perk looking arse. Her midriff went in, it was tight, defined there was the signs of a six pack there, it was obvious she knew how to work her body to get it to look like this, looking great, hard, strong. Up further was a dark sports crop top, the kind that was just big enough to do its job and hold her good sizes breasts there. The woman's shoulders and arms where bare, and those shoulders were also broad, her arms were toned, muscular, she looked good, she looked solid, powerful. Now having had a good look at her, seen her body, seen the woman, Ralph was a touch, troubled. Maybe, just maybe she might cause Bomber a few problems! After taking in her body the teachers eyes moved up to her face, she looked young, 20, maybe? With a plain but somehow attractive face, she had quite long blond hair that was plated halfway down and then rested over her shoulders and over the mounds in her crop top. All this was finished off, like Bomber, with a couple of bandages wrapped around each of her fists. There was something else puzzling the teacher, this woman Gem, well she looked kind of familiar. But he didn't know why, he'd never seen a female fighter before, but still she did have this familiarity about her. But no matter what anyone might say she looked like a fit, strong fighter and the more Ralph looked the more his small concern about the fight started to grow, and grow! But to be serious she was still a woman, and no matter how good she looked how firm, even strong her body appeared to be, she was still just a woman, and this was her first fight, sort of. Remembering how the older woman had corrected Jimmy earlier! Now as Gem walked around she slowed down and almost stopped as she got around to where that older woman was sat on her stool. Ralph couldn't see properly as Gem's back was to him but he thought that the fighter had leaned over and spoken to that older woman, even more interesting! Jimmy called everyone to order as he was about to get the fight started, both fighters, the man and the woman now concentred on each other. They faced each other, then they slowly started to move around the ring and a big circle while in the middle of this Jimmy finished off his spiel to the audience. "OK ladies and gentlemen we all know the rules, there are none, the winner will be decided by ... ... ." SMACK! Before Jimmy could get the words 'knockout only' out the first punch had been thrown. It was thrown by Gem, as she lurched forwards and drove her fist into Bomber, hard. She'd struck first, a very canny move from her. By not letting Jimmy finish talking and throwing her punch so her fist almost curved around the announcer, she'd got the first blow in. Bomber couldn't see her fully with Jimmy in the way, so she'd taken her competitor by surprise. Jimmy had somehow avoided not being hit, he'd staggered backwards and against the ropes where the equally surprised but now cheering crown helped him safely out of the ring. The sneaky, surprise attack had indeed stunned the crowd around the ring, but they loved things like this, it also shocked Ralph as he watched the young woman's' fist go straight into Bombers face. Ralph winced as the strike was made, and to him it was almost like one of those slow-motion scenes in a film. As the arm had come out from the woman, Jimmy's body slightly bending out of the way then the clenched fist squashing Bomber's nose and carrying on into his face. Not forgetting the equally slow-moving droplets of water that, so clearly seemed to fly off the man's face as the woman's fist made contact. Suddenly it all speeded up as Bomber went flying backwards and onto the ropes. Ralph was now watching at normal speed as the crowd on the other side of those ropes managed to catch the male fight and then sent him forwards, back into the ring. As he staggered forward, Bomber shock his head and steadied himself, he was now ready to start the fight. The woman, Gem, bounced there, from one foot onto the other, like a real fighter, and was only a few steps away from her opponent, the man. Bombers arms, hands were up, he was ready now, hers were only halfway up, 'was she trying to 'invite' him into her?' The man, was deciding what to do, he was sussing his opponent, sussing her out, his arms came up further, but only just a fraction, his left eyed blinked once, twice, three times and his head, ever so slightly flinched over to the left. But it was all that the woman needed to see, she spun around to her right, her whole body went around, and around, as she twisted, pivoted on the heels and balls of her feet. She came around fast, too fast for the man to take this in and react to her action. Gem spun around, came completed around and, down. Dropped her left shoulder and was now low, but as she spun and span around she then came up into the perfect position to, CRACK! OOOOHHHHH! Gem's fist was sent upwards, up into the unprotected side of Bomber, the woman's first drove into the bottom of the man's ribcage, she pounded him hard. It was a solid blow that made the crowd gasp, then cheer, it made Bomber, jump up as she struck, and it made Ralph once again wince. But worse still, for Bomber the young woman managed to get two more hard blows into that area of his body before he toppled over to the side and was out of her reach, or was he, SMACK! Gem had sent the man staggered away with her quick strikes, now she flipped herself onto her left foot and kicked out with her right. The man was now just in the right position to receive a kick from the woman into his stomach. But just like with her fist she wasn't satisfied with one hit she went for more. Flicking her foot backwards and forwards she sent in more kicks, two, three more striking hard blows into his gut. Then she followed this with a lower flick of the foot, one that caught the man just right, WHACK! OOOOOWWWW! 'Yes, that caught him just right!' That flick to his groin had the desired effect, it made Bomber shudder and hold himself there for just a second, it made him froze to the spot for a brief moment. But that was all the time that Gem needed, the woman jumps up, and slams her knee even higher up and into the man's body. It was a good solid blow that made Bomber stumble back a couple of steps, this now gave the woman another opportunity to strike again before the man had even time to steady himself, CRUNCH! She struck again, shooting her other leg and foot out, and straight into Bomber's kneecap, a very forceful and driving kick that caught the man and made him wobble. Having just steadied himself from going backwards, this new blow had unbalanced him again, instantly both his arms went out to the side, but only just, as he went to regain that all important balance and stay on his feet. But as his arms moved outwards, the gap opened up, his body and face where unprotected, if only briefly and a woman like Gem takes every opportunity she's offered. Especially in this kind of game! WHACK! SMACK! CRACK! THUD! UUUUFFFFF! Now Gem went in hard, her fists struck out, shooting through that gap, she pounded Bomber as hard and as quick as she could. Left, right, left, right, body, face, body, face. The man's head, body where all forced further backwards with each striking blow, so back he went until THUD! There was nowhere else for the man to retreat to, he fell back and into the corner. He'd been forced, driven into that dangerous area by the woman, Gem, and she was going to use it to her advantage, WHACK! A spinning kick for the woman, who again had timed it just right. The moment Bomber was driven into the corner, the moment he'd fell against that post and then bounced back slightly off of it. That moment as he came forward, as his head pushed forward, that was the moment that Gem's spinning kick had come around. The moment her foot made contact with his protruding jaw, the moment of that hard strike and the man being send again back into that post. Bomber fell, was dropped back against the post, his body twisted around so his chest, arms dropped onto the top ropes. The kick was hard, brutal, it hurt the man, it sent his head spinning and told the man he was in trouble now. That kick also told Ralph that his money was not safe, he could be on his way to losing his bet and that ... ... 'Oh, No!' It was now that everything seemed to slow right down, again, for Ralph as he saw what the woman did next, with Bomber dazed, hurt and still in the corner Gem tuned around, took a few large, fast steps in the opposite direction away from her opponent in the corner. Then she turned around and ran at the man, having given herself some room, she now had the run up she needed. She went at him fast, even if for Ralph this all seemed to be happening in slow-motion. Then, just as she was a stride away from her target, she jumped up, thrusted her knee forwards, at the same time Bomber had pushed himself off the ropes. Knowing he couldn't, shouldn't stay there in such a vulnerable position. So, when he turned and saw the woman up in the air, coming at him with her knee pointing out towards him 'Shit!' Ralph could also see this all to clearly, see the point of the woman's knee as it was heading straight into Bombers chest, CRACK! THUD! ARRRRHHHHH! The sound of Gem's knee striking Bomber filled the whole of that old underground carpark and the echo seemed to linger there in the air for a while. Just as the cry of agony that Bomber let out as the woman had struck him, seemed to remain in the air too. As her knee struck Gem had reached out, thrown her arms, hands around the man's head and grabbed hold. She was now there handing onto and around his head, her body up, and both her knees in his very hurt, sore, chest. With her grip solid and strong, she now wiggled herself around, which allowed her to shuffle, pull, drag the stunned, hurt, confused man out of the corner that she'd just slammed him back into, again. When she'd got the staggering man out far enough Gem, still holding tight onto his head threw her body backwards, overbalancing, tipping, catapulting the tall man over. She flung him, flipped him over, taking him off his feet with her summersaulting move, off his feet and tossing the man over. As they went over, much to the delight of the crowd watching, as they came around Gem let go, she went one way and carried on spinning until she landed safely on her feet. Bomber also carried on spinning, but his was more of an uncontrollable tumbling through the air, until he went completely over and landed in a heap with aloud thud and a shaking of the ring. Ralph was not liking this, his fighter, the man all that money was resting on was not looking good, how the hell was he going to turn this around and win? The teacher was feeling desperate now, he'd come so close to winning all that money and now it looked as if a woman was going to ruin it all. It was all slipping away, at the hands of a woman. Gem strolled up to Bomber who was still on the ground, shaking his head and wonder what the hell was going on? The woman reached down grabbed the male fighter by his hair and dragged him sharply upwards WHACK! A reminder to him just how good she was with her knees and the weakened, hurt man was brought back up onto his slightly unsteady legs. Now Gem jumped, shot her foot out and up into Bomber's chest, sending the man backwards, as he staged back THUD! OOOUUUWWW! Another kick to his body and into a different corner he went, this time he seemed to bounce very easily out of this one. He almost tripped over his own staggering feet and was now falling forward and straight into CRACK! UUUUHHHHH! THUD! His opponents foot once more came screaming around and drove into the side of the falling man's head. The strike made the man's whole body jolted and jerked in mid-air, then motionless as he carried on falling down to the floor. Before he hit the canvas Ralph and the rest of the crowd knew Bomber was done for, out cold and that meant that the woman, that Gem, had won! The only one around that ring who wasn't screaming, shout and excited at the woman's victory was Ralph, he'd lost so much. All those potential winnings, all that money, the very large bet he'd put down in the first place, it had all gone ... ... THUD! Bomber hit the floor, and he wasn't going to get up anytime soon after all that. Now all that Ralph could do was watch as the woman walked around the ring taking in the applause of the crowd, of everyone but him. The teacher just stood there as a couple of staff moved pass him along with The Doc, they got into the ring where Bomber was checked over. The Doc, still with that roll up in his mouth coughed over the downed fighter, nodded to the two staff men who now went about grabbing hold of the defeated man and carrying him out of the ring. Ralph still couldn't believe all this, believe that the man he knew to be such a good fighter was knocked out by a woman! The man that was going to win him all that money had been beat up by a woman! He still couldn't really get his head around it all. Ralph carried on watching as Gem moved around the ring and then, she came to where that older woman was sat on her stood, and went over to her. The older woman stood up and she gave Gem and big hug, what was going on? But then Ralph heard "well done my dear I couldn't have done it any better" the older woman said and "thanks Mum, it's all done to your training you know." 'What? Mother and Daughter, No, surly not?' It was now that the crowd started to move away from the ring, some went back to the bar, a couple or two went off to find a room, as watching the fight had got a few people, 'excited!' But the majority of the crowd moved over and across the open area to the second ring, where the next piece of entertainment was going to take place, while the first ring was cleaned and got ready for later. A moment later and all that was left around the first ring was Ralph still in shock about what he'd just watched, and lost, and of course the Mother and her Daughter, Gem. Stunned by all this Ralph slowly dragged his feet along and made his way around the outside of the ring. He stopped close to the corner post, where just across on the other side was the Mother & Daughter talking, celebrating. Then both women were aware of the man just stood there looking at them, and they now turned to him. The older woman was the one to speak, she looked at him, look at his face, into his eyes and then she realised "you're the one who lost all that money aren't you?" Somehow, she'd found out about his bet, knew about it and now she grinned, 'was she mocking him?' As it had been her Daughter that had ruined everything for him, was she proud of that? The older woman moved closer to the post and leant on it, still grinning as she looked back at the man. Her Daughter, the fighter, also moved closer to him, but was still inside the ring. "How do you fancy a chance at getting your winnings back?" The woman smiled now as she saw Ralph face light up at this, the teacher did indeed lift himself up as she said this to him, but what did she mean? "A bet, you and me, I'll double your winnings, what you thought you were going to get, double it!" This woman now had Ralph's complete attention, "I'll double your winning if you step into this ring for the next fight, replace one of the competitors and fight ... ... " Ralph looked over to Gem, 'No, not her?' The older woman laughed "No, not her, you've seen her fight, I proposing you go up against someone who's never taken part in one of these fights before, never!" The thought of all that money was making this a tempting bet, and he'd been in a ring before, he'd fought before and could probably protect his weak chin for just one fight, against someone who never taken part in a fight before! He wasn't sure how it happened but Ralph found himself nodding and holding his hand out to shake on the bet, the older woman took his hand and confirmed "you win I'll double your bet, you lose then you own me that money, yes?" Ralph shook her hand, and in a place like this a handshake was truly a binding bet. It was now that Ralph realised what he'd done "so ... ... so, who's this new guy I'm fighting?" The woman grinned "my Daughter!" Ralph looks wide-eyed over at Gem "but, you said ... ... " "No, not that Daughter, that one!" Ralph's head spins around behind him and then he saw 'Oh, Shit!' There walking up behind Ralph was a younger version of Gem, and a much younger version of her Mother. There was a tallish looking girl, with shortish fair hair, a kind of pettish face and dressed in quite a sexy little outfit. A pair of short black boots, then black fishnet stocking, quite thick ones with a couple of holes here and there in them, these went up to a very short grey skirt. Then a bare midriff and what looked like a white blouse, tied in a knot under a pair of good size breasts. Buttons on the blouse where undone and alone with her cleavage a pink bra could be seen. There was a bit of a sexy schoolgirl look about this new 'fighter' then Ralph looked up into her face and it was one that he recognised. Looking back at him, having raised her hand and playfully drumming her fingers up and down in mid-air, in a cheeky 'hello' to Sir, was Crystal. The girl from class 5D was stood there looking at him, dressed ready to step in the ring and fight! In the background there was the cheers, calls and screams form the other ring as the second fight for tonight was underway. But just now Crystal stood there and looked at her teacher, Mr Humphries, "So, 'Sir', looks as if I do get to see you in the ring after all ... ... !"
