It seemed like another easy night for Fortune City's famous thief, Viper.
Truth be told, she was on a roll lately. Managing to land a couple of high

here by now...." Viper sighed as she dealt with two more guards.

After a thorough infiltration, Viper made it into the room containing the
necklace. Naturally, there were a couple of secret security measures in place,
but these were no match for Viper as she had come prepared to deal with them.
Truthfully the only thing that could ruin her plan was her, the woman, the
thorn in her side, Nocturne. She was expecting the heroine to come chasing her
down at any minute, prompting a battle of wits and strength, a chase she most

without any complications, there was no Nocturne stopping her in her tracks.

Viper managed to escape from the museum without being detected. She quickly
jumped into the nearby rooftops and made her escape. Again, she was expecting
Nocturne to show up, hell, she was eager for her to show up. Yet once more,
the heroine didn't show. "Did I scare her away...?" Viper sighed, "Kitty, this
is nowhere near as fun without you..." Viper muttered, before heading to her
destination.

The night had gone without a complication, as Viper arrived at the agreed
location for her delivery. As usual, it was a shady alleyway surrounded by
abandoned buildings, the kind of place where law abiding citizens don't want
to walk by during the night. A limo was waiting for her, along with a plethora
of goons, her contact was the head honcho of one of Fortune City's crime
families, the Morelli. Viper descended from the rooftops, scaring the thugs in
the process, "Calm down, boys, it's little old me. I'm here to deliver the
goods, is your boss around?" Viper gestured for the thugs to lower their
weapons, "He is in the limo, waiting for you." "Thank you, sugar!" Viper
chuckled as she entered the limo. She took a seat and looked at the man in
front of her, who was clad in a white suit. "Well, nice to see you, Mario.
Rare of you to show up, I was expecting one of your boys to do the pick up."
Viper grinned, "This is important and I want to make sure it's done right. Now
hand it over." Mario demanded, "Nuh uh, first you gotta show me your part of
the deal!" Viper shot back, "You know, I sometimes can't tell if you are brave
or just plain stupid. I could kill you right now if I wanted..."Mario replied
in a cold tone, "I know what I'm worth, honey and I'm more valuable alive than
dead. Even you know it." Viper chuckled, "Nothing worse than a scumbag who
knows their worth. Alright here....." Before Mario could finish what he was
saying, a loud noise engulfed the entire area. "SHE'S HERE!!!" Someone
screamed.

"What the hell is going on?!" Mario shouted, "Seems like kitty has to come
play after all!" Viper seemed enthused, "What?!" Mario was confused, "Don't
you get it, numskull? Nocturne is here and your boys are in trouble...." Viper
replied calmly, "NOCTURNE?! FUCK!!! WE GOTTA DO SOMETHING BEFORE..." Once
again, before Mario could finish, a large noise engulfed the room. The door to
the limousine opened and a smoke pellet was thrown into the limousine,
blinding Viper and Mario. Mario tried to escape but something grabbed him by
the leg, "AHHHH SOMEONE DO SOMETHING!!!!!" He screamed to no avail as he was
dragged outside and into the night. Viper although struggling with her vision,
managed to escape from the limo, falling into the concrete. Escaping from the
limousine didn't help with her vision as the entire alleyway had been covered
in smoke. As Viper tried to make her escape, she could hear the thugs
struggling with Nocturne as she outmaneuvered them all. "Can you see her?" One
of the thugs shouted, "I can't....AHHH!" "Craaaap"

Viper ignored the fight and made her way towards a nearby rooftop so that she
could regroup and regain her composure. Meanwhile the last few thugs were
trying to deal with Nocturne, though their struggle was a lost cause as they
the smoke still didn't let them see a thing. Nocturne picked them one by one
and one by one they all fell. After catching her breath, with the necklace
secured, Viper began to scan the area to see if she could spot and surprise
Nocturne.

"Now where did kitty go...." Viper muttered, "Looking for me?" A voice from
behind Viper's back spoke, "'GAH! How did you made it so fast here?! Do you
want to give me a heart attack?" Viper shouted, clearly taken aback by
Nocturne's presence. "Why did Morelli want the necklace?" Nocturne asked, "Ohh
so you did know after all. How mean of you to keep me waiting..." Viper
chuckled, "Get to the point." Nocturne demanded, "Honestly, I dunno and I
don't care. Do you think I care about what some mobster wants to do with a
necklace? As long as he pays, he can shove it..." Viper chuckled,

"In any case, my little thief, I think it's time you hand it over before you
cause any more trouble." Nocturne replied, "And why would I do that? I went
through a lot of trouble to just throw it away....No, you are gonna have to do
better than that if you want it!" Viper quickly sprang into action by running
away from Nocturne and into a nearby rooftop, "Guess it's the hard way,
then..." Nocturne shrugged as she prepare to chase her down.

The thief and heroine engaged in one of their usual cat and mouse chases,
Viper trying to outlast and outsmart Nocturne, but the latter proving hard to
shake off. Instead of continuing the chase, Viper decided to launch a surprise
attack on Nocturne. She hid behind a wall and waited for Nocturne to arrive,
when she did, Viper launched at her with all her might.

Nocturne was able to avoid the first attacks but Viper was able to slam her
knee hard into her gut, making the heroines cheeks puff as the air got knocked
out of her lungs.

As Nocturne tried to counter Viper caught her arm and twisted it behind her
back.

In a fluid motion she forced Nocturne with her chest against the wall and
twisted her other arm behind her back as well.

Pressing her firm chest against Nocturne's back Viper kept the heroine trapped
between the wall and her body.

"Got you again sugar, but do not worry after I have cuffed you we will have

Suddenly something fell at the floor near her feet. As she looked down she
realized to late Nocturne dropped a flashbang grenade.

A hard sound and a flash distracted Viper long enough for Nocturne to slip out
of her grasp.

Leaping up against the wall Nocturne performed a flying kick towards Viper's
chest that knocked the thief to the floor.

In a fluid motion Viper got back up and came at Nocturne with a flurry of
strikes.

Nocturne quickly dodged the incoming attacks by sidestepping, disorienting
Viper for a bit. The thief recovered quickly, however, and tried her best to
land a combination of kicks and punches. This didn't work, as Nocturne managed
to avoid them, she then threw a smoke pellet to disorient Viper. "That's so
unfair, I hate it when you cheat!!" Viper teased. Nocturne grabbed Viper from
behind and tried to restrain her, but the Viper managed to slither away from
her grasp, hitting Nocturne in the stomach with her elbow. Viper then took the
opportunity to land a kick on Nocturne that sent her to the floor, "Well
kitty, you fought well but this is...aahhhhh" Nocturne retaliated with a leg
sweep, making Viper fall into the ground as well.

Nocturne once more tried to restrain Viper by pinning her down, but the thief
managed to kick her way out of her grasp. Realizing that she wasn't going to
win in hand to hand combat, Viper decided to retreat while Nocturne was on the
floor. Viper quickly descended through the fire escape ladder and ran as fast
as she could. She ran from alleyway to alleyway, her heart beating with each
step. Truth be told, this was the kind of excitement she was hoping for
earlier, this was the kind of excitement she lives for. Once she thought she
had shaken Nocturne off, Viper stopped for a moment to catch her breath. Sadly

Viper demanded as Nocturne grabbed her from behind, "Guess, I have to use my
