Brother verses Sister Combat XXIV by Buzz Haywood buzzhaywood@yahoo.com Homework Lauren, it still read, 430 matches, Lauren with 424, and me with 6. Herritage Champion Pittman Pike 1,948-0. Lauren was selected to go on a big wrestling tour, Ring Slam Tour. Problem? She had homework to do. Solution? She wanted me to do it for her. I wasn't up for it. She had an idea. Ten matches in ten minutes. If she could beat me in ten matches within a ten minute period, then I'd do her homework for her while she's on tour. Match 1: In 50 seconds she made me tap to an ankle lock. Match 2: She pinned me in 54 seconds. Then in match 3 Lauren powerbombed me 4 seconds into the match and then pinned me. I was still out so in the 5th match she pinned me with one foot on my chest. In the 6th match she pinned me with one finger on my chest. In the 7th match she pinned me with one hand on my chest. Match 8, she applied a figure four. Match 9, Lauren used a claw hold to defeat me. And she still had more than enough time to beat me in match 10 with a splash. 440 matches, Lauren with 434, and me with 6. A deal is a deal. I just hope Lauren returns from the tour soon. She's on her way to compete in California and the state of Washington first. Lauren Haywood Art History Prof. Verne Knight Far Away Culture As early as the eleventh century, the Tibetans began making portraits of nobles, monks, lamas, and other venerated religious leaders that seem to be based on first-hand observations of individuals. While these images on thangkas are realistic, they are also icons that elevated the historical subjects to semi-divine status. The authority vested in the Dalai Lamas and their power to lead their followers to enlightenment made them some of the most important icons in Tibetan art. At this point Lauren and Pike had both wrestled throughout every town of California. Pike was now 1,989-0. Now they're off to the state of Washington. While they were traveling and wrestling and having fun, I was stuck at home doing Lauren's homework. My bad luck. Back to my sister's homework. The Neolithic Period (c. 7000-2250 BCE) The transition from a nomadic hunter-gatherer existence to a sedentary one based on farming began around 7000 BCE with the domestication of millet, rice, and pigs. Many of the early Neolithic Chinese societies developed in the warm and humid southeast, around the mouth of the Yangzi River, and in the north along in the north along the Yellow and Wei rivers. The Yellow River is so named for the large quantities of yellowish silt it carries much of the year. I take a break and look on-line. Lauren has agreed to wrestle a college wrestling gold metalist. A male. Victor Skinner. And the now 2,000-0 Pike will be getting a shot at the VWA World Heavyweight Champion, Earl Keats. Days later when I finished her homework, I read a report on what happened in those matches. The bell rang. Lauren immediately pounced on Vic. She embarassed him. There was nothing he could do against her. After she drop kicked him, Vic didn't bother getting back up. So she just pinned him and won the match. Huge, dominating, one-sided win for Lauren. Later on Pike not only brought his record to 2,018-0 but he also became the new VWA World Heavyweight Champion. Lauren is a one hundred percent star.
